서울지역 교통수단별 이동시간과 호흡량을 고려한 미세먼지 흡입량 추정에 관한 연구 (Estimation of PM10 and PM2.5 inhalation dose by travel time and respiratory volume in common transport microenvironments in Seoul, Korea)

  • Recently, people's interest in particulate matter (PM) has been increasing, due to its hazardous health effects. The purpose of this study was to investigate the concentrations and as well as the inhaled weight of PM, correlated with person's heart rate in subway, bus, vehicle and bicycle in the major public transportation (Sadang - Jamsil and Nowon - Dongdaemun) in Seoul. The concentration of $PM_{10}$ and $PM_{2.5}$ were measured from each of transportation means and calculated the average concentrations which were 87.2 and $57.8{\mu}g/m^3$ for subway, 62.8 and $42.5{\mu}g/m^3$ for vehicle, 61.5 and $36.8{\mu}g/m^3$ for bus and 53.0 and $29.4{\mu}g/m^3$ for bicycle in $PM_{10}$ and $PM_{2.5}$ respectively. Inhalation dose for $PM_{10}$ and $PM_{2.5}$ were estimated at 248.1 and $139.4{\mu}g$ for bicycle, 56.7 and $39.3{\mu}g$ for vehicle, 49.4 and $29.9{\mu}g$ for bus and 44.3 and $29.1{\mu}g$ for subway, respectively. Even though subway had the highest concentration, the highest inhalation dose was the bicycle. It was due to the long travel time-exposure and breathing rate which leads to maximum of $PM_{10}$ 5.6 and $PM_{2.5}$ with 4.8 times inhalation dose comparing with other modes of transportation. With regards to future studies, the amount of inhalation in each transportation means should be considered in risk assessments of PM.

  • The chevron rubber spring is used for subway vehicle as a primary suspension. Generally, the primary suspension has an influence to the running performance and not so much effect on the ride comfort in railway vehicle. But the stiffness of chevron spring is harder and harder as time goes on because of rubber characteristics. Therefore the dynamic characteristics such as ride comfort and derailment coefficient should be reviewed according to the stiffness variation of chevron rubber spring. In this paper the effect of chevron rubber spring on dynamic characteristics was studied by considering multi-body dynamics of railway vehicle on one straight line and seven curved lines.

  • In railway vehicle, riding comfort depends mainly on the secondary lateral damper and track condition. When the damping force of lateral damper becomes abnormal condition or the track condition is worse, the running stability and ride comfort of the railway vehicles go down. In addition, the lateral motion of carbody is increased. Therefore, the lateral motion of carbody is reviewed carefully by considering lateral damping force and track condition of the railway line in design stage. In this study, the lateral displacement of carbody was studied in accordance with lateral damping force and track condition. The target vehicle is EMU for subway line.

  • In the future light rail vehicle is more attractive than subway, because of construction time and cost. For light rail vehicle are two types of traction motors. one is traditional rotating type and the other is linear motor. Linear motor is not better in consideration of efficiency and power factor than rotating type. But the motor needs no translation equipment for linear motion and with them can be constructed low floor vehicle. In this paper will be designed a linear induction motor with consideration of operational condition and analysed operating characteristics using FEM program and equivalent circuit.

  • Decision of operation performance mode to minimize the energy consumption of urban rail vehicle. This paper analyses how much acceleration and deceleration of urban rail vehicle should be applied andhow to choose an operation mode to minimize energy consumption when train runs between station within the fixed operation time. The decided operation pattern satisfying the minimum energy consumption becomes a target trajectory and a basis for the controller design criteria. To make this goal it grasps the characteristics of urban rail vehicle, realize operation energy model of urban rail vehicle and verify the accuracy of embodied model the Matlab simulation with the same operation result of real route. It searches for operation pattern to minimize operation energy by changing the acceleration and deceleration on the imaginative route and proposes operation pattern minimizing energy consumption by applying real operation data between Dolgogee-Sukgye section of Seoul Metropolitan Subway Line 6.

  • Recently, so as to solve the urban transportation problem the LRT(Light Rail Transit) system has been studied on the essential technology and the engineering know-how, which lead lower construction cost and higher reliability. The localization development of rubber tired AGT(Automatic Guided Trainsit) system has performed from 1999 to 2004, as a national project of the Minister of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs. For the application of the rubber tired AGT system in Busan Subway 3-2 Line, this study is focused on the reliability of aluminium profiles vehicle carbody and the establishment of the test and evaluation technologies. In this paper, 3D modeling simulation was applied to the load test of aluminium vehicle carbody. The reliability of the vehicle carbody was estimated as the fatigue test of welded aluminium profiles. From the test and simulation results, it could be concluded that the developed rubber tired AGT shows a good structural reliability and integrity.

통근.통학자의 지하철 연계교통수단 선택행태분석 (Mode Choice Behavior Analysis of Commuter Feeder Passengers to Subway System)

  • 교통체계가 지하철 중심의 대중교통체계로 변화되면서 지하철이용을 활성화하기 위한 적절한 연계체계를 구축할 필요성이 고조되고있다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 부산시를 대상으로 타 목적통행에 비해서 중요한 비중을 차지하면서 비교적 안정적인 행태를 보이는 지하철 이용 통근 통학자를 대상으로 대표적인 연계교통수단인 시내버스, 마을버스, 택시 이용시 통행특성에 대한 체계적인 분석과 연계교통수단 선택행태에 대한 다항로짓모형을 구축하였다. 모형의 구축결과 연계교통수단선택시 큰 영향을 미치는 설명변수는 차외시간(OVTT), 차내시간(IVTT), 요금(T-FARE, S-FARE, B-FARE), 소득(INCOME), 성별(SEX), 연령(AGE) 순으로 나타났다. 그리고, 연계교통수단의 이용은 환승을 위한 단거리 통행이기 때문에 차외시간이 차내시간보다 수단선택시 더 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 통행비용관련 변수들은 통행시간 변수들에 비해 연계수단선택시 큰 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 요금인하로 인한 수요증가 정책보다는 적정수준으로 요금을 인상하여 이로 인한 수입 등을 이용하여 교통시설의 확충 등 서비스 개선에 의한 대중교통의 통행시간을 단축시킬 수 있는 서비스의 개선이 요구된다. 또한 통행시간가치는 타의시간의 시간가치가 차내시간의 시간가치보다 현저히 높게 나타났으며, 아침 통근 ·통학시 요금보다는 시간을 중요하게 인식하여 택시의 시간가치가 시내버스, 마을버스의 시간가치보다 훨씬 높게 나타났다.

  • The SeoulMerto, operating subway line No.$1{\sim}4$, was constructed in the metropolitan Seoul with the highest population. When it was built, the design was challenged to sharp curved tracks considering the protection of buildings, cultural assets, the connection to ground roads and rivers as well as to elevated railway in some parts. Lots of residential apartments and business complex have gradually increased in the area around subway stations and railway lines according to the urban development. Consequently, Requirements of better quality of life and comfortable environment caused the citizen complain for the noise. It has become one of serious social issues. In this paper, Noise level was analyzed using noise map measured in the running train of all routes. The analysis on the noise level was conducted according to railway type, track components type, seasonal type, retirement degree of the vehicle and subway station. Especially, Noise characteristics were analyzed by noise level data measured in the inside and outside of the train with geometry types of the concrete track. This study will contribute fundamental data for the "The Development of Sound-Absorbing Block on Concrete Track" promoted on The National R&D Project.

  • In field of Urban transit safely, It must be not only secured vehicle but also every areas like power, signal, communication, track, tunnel, operating facilities. Likewise it is very important not only hardware system like vehicles, facilities but also software system like action of engine driver, duty officer. In other to secure safety of hardware, soft ware, it is very important systemic process. In Korea, Many operating companies neglect to invest in safely and ignore technical development about safety because of management. Safely was considered in subway system and many studies were accomplished about safety in subway system in advanced county like U.K, USA. Hence, in this paper, Conditions and improvement of minimum considerable hardware and software are proposed for safe operation in Urban transit.

  • This paper presents a lateral displacement restoring force control for the independently rotating wheelsets (IRWs) of shallow-depth subway systems. In the case of the near surface transit, which has recently been introduced, sharp curved driving performance is required for the city center service. It is possible to decrease the curve radius and to improve the performance of the straight running with the individual torque control. Therefore, the individual torque control performance of the motor is the most important point of the near surface transit. This paper deals with a lateral displacement restoring force control for sharp curved driving. The validity and usefulness of the proposed control algorithm is verified by experimental results using a small-scale bogie system.
