This paper presents a landscape design for the meeting plaza around the "Myeonmok" subway station. The site is located at 120-1 Myeonmok 1-dong, Jnngrang-gu, Seoul, and its area is approximately $2,664.7m^2$. The goal of the design was to make an environmentally friendly meeting and rest place which was related to the subway station. To achieve this goal, concepts of history, tradition, sense of place, community, environmental friendliness, and function were developed. For history, stone sculpture and art tiles symbolizing the paleolithic area were introduced because the site is located near an archaeological site of paleolithic min. For tradition, considering that the site is a 'sailing ship' form in terms of Pungsu theory, a sculpture symbolizing a sailing ship and paving patterns symbolizing waves were introduced. For asense of place, a grass hill, a waterfall and a pond symbolizing an old meadow for horse pasture was introduced. In addition, a multi-purpose round plaza as a meeting place for local community and subway users was proposed. A zelkova grove symbolizing a village forest was proposed for a restand relaxation area. All areas were designed to be environmentally friendly and barrier-free. Concepts for a defensible space wereadapted for safety because the site was a crime-prone area.

The purpose of this study is to design and construct a data mart that anyone can easily analyze subway OD movement patterns. Subway OD data of the year 2017 was downloaded from the Seoul Open Data Plaza and used as the source data. A multidimensional model was designed, and Gaussian mixed cluster analysis and visualization analysis using Tableau were performed. Interestingly, movement between suburban and Seoul accounts for 23% of the total traffic. The passengers of Suwon Station move to the suburbs much more than Seoul, while Pangyo Station mostly moves to Seoul. As a result of Gaussian mixed cluster, eight clusters of OD segments were found, and the characteristics of each cluster were characterized by segment distance and passenger size.

This design proposal was accepted to a design competition for the improvement of Indi Youth Street, Mapo-Gu, which was held by the Seoul Metropolitan Government in June, 2000. The \`Hong-ik University District\` projected area consists of several streets, where the independent and youth culture unique to this area is blossoming-Indi music, underground arts, and historic meaning of the area as an estuary of Mapo. The site is also expected to attract many citizens and fereigners because of convenient accessibility of the new subway station to the Inchon International Airport and because of many attractions on the street- foods, music, art and people. Accordingly, the proposal set the main design concept of this project as \`the Street of Youth Culture\` considering its special and social status as well as the physical improvement of the street environment. With this concept in mind, the proposal designed the improvement of the physical conditions based on the motive of \`the Street of Youth Culture\`, having Indi/under art, Indi/ under music, Indi/under drama and Indi/multimedia animation. This design proposal of the Street of Youth Culture consist of three segments, which symbolize the millenium Youth Plaza, MultiMedia Animation Pocket and Arts Exhibition Pocket based on unity and balance. This plan has the ultimate aim of making the district one of the people\`s favorite streets in Seoul, which people love to visit again and find the vivacity of the new millennium youth culture.
