Methods: The subjects were 154 diabetic outpatient at 3 hospitals located in J city. Data were collected from February 1 to 17 in 2012. Data were analysed using Chi-square test, ANOVA, and logistic regression by SPSS/WIN 18.0. Results: Mean physical activity level per week measured by International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ) was $2247.01{\pm}2533.73$ MET-minutes (minimally active). There were significant differences in the level of physical activity by age, spouse, education, job, admission, duration of DM, and DM therapy. • The subjective health status of adolescence reflects one's overall socio-emotional function and is an important factor in determining the health-related quality of life during this period. This study was to identify the correlation between subjective health status and health equity of adolescents. Data from the 16th online survey of youth health behavior (2020) was used to analyze 39,987 adolescents. Health equity was used as indicator for residential areas, economic conditions perceived by students, household abundance, family type, and parental education. Subjective health status was classified as a healthy group("very healthy", "healthy") and unhealthy group("normal", "unhealthy", and "very unhealthy") in response to the question "how do you think your health is usually?" The data were analyzed using complex sample analysis by using SPSS/Win 22.0. Significant factors related to the subjective health status of subjects were the area of residence (OR=0.86, p=.031), economic level (OR=1.33-2.09, p<.001), and family type (OR=1.24, p=.033). The economic level perceived by adolescents was the most important variable related to the subjective health status of adolescents, and adolescents from multicultural families often perceived their health as unhealthy compared to adolescents from general families. Therefore, there is a need for continuous interest in adolescents with low economic levels and adolescents from multicultural families and specific strategies to improve their health status.

  • The study aims to examine the interaction of socio-economic status in education and income in the difference of the level of subjective health, physical health, and mental health of middle-age and the elderly of Korea. While there have been various discussions in precedent study with respect to the serious increase in the number of dependent life alongside with increasing elderly population, research on the health level according to socio-economic status is highly limited, and also how the health level of middle-age and the elderly - whom will arrive at senescence in just a few years - is different. The study aims at analyzing the health level by hierarchy and age based on data targeting the whole nation. As for analysis data, the study utilized 1st Korean Longitudinal Study of Ageing (KLoSA) implemented by Korea Labor Institute, and carried out a path analysis to verify whether income and academic background serve as a parameter to the level of subjective health, physical health, and mental health. As a result, while the subjective health level decreases, the study confirmed an increase in chronic diseases, and extremely low level of mental health when people in middle-age enter the elderly. In addition, the higher the education and income, the more the health levels both on middle-age and the elderly; the result suggests that education background and income have mediated effects in all health level of middle-age and the elderly.

Methods : A total of 286 high school students in Busan completed the self-reported questionnaire from September 3 to 28 in 2012. Results : 1. Social and epidemiologic diagnosis suggested that the level of subjective oral health perception of male students was not better than that of female students and DMFT number of the male was more than that of the female(p<0.001)(p<0.001). 2. Oral health diagnosis indicated that once a day tooth brushing group showed lower level of oral health perception(p<0.001) and high DMFT number(p<0.001). 3. Predisposing factor of educational diagnosis implied that more than 4 times a day snack intake group and sweet diet and soda friendly group showed lower level of oral health perception and high DMFT number(p<0.001). 4. Tooth brushing of the reinforcing factors had the most important effect on the level of oral health perception and the number of dental caries. Daily snack intake was the most important effect on DMFT number. Conclusions : The informed consent from each family was the important factor in implementing PRECEDE model. School health program improved oral health care. Oral health program can correct the risk oral health behavior in children and adolescents.

The worse they perceive their subjective health to be, the more they feel stress, and the less frequently they brush their teeth per day. They had bad breath. The analysis of the factors influencing the body shape perception of female adolescents showed that they tend to be low in school performance, low in family economic level, and high school students. The worse they feel their subjective health is, the more they feel unhappy, and stressful, and the less frequently they brush their teeth per day. They feel pain during chewing, and have bad breath. Conclusions: In conclusion, it is necessary to consider educational intervention in adolescent life that will make them have proper perception of their body shape for proper health management of it. To make the intervention effective, we need to consider various factors such as health factors and oral health factors.

SAS(Ver.9.2) Program was used for the collected data to perform frequency analysis, reliability and scale analysis, t-test, ANOVA, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. Results : The oral health-related quality of life level related to oral health according to the demographical characteristics showed that it was better in case that they are younger, married, more educated and have more living expenses. Except for age, oral health-related quality of life was connected to scholastic achievement, living expenses, subjective health condition and subjective oral health condition. The factors influencing the oral health condition were subjective health condition, marriage, scholastic achievement, living expenses, age and sex. As the subjective health condition is better, in case of cohabitation of only a couple and as the age or scholastic achievement is higher and the living expenses are more, the oral health condition was better. The factors influencing oral health-related quality of life were subjective oral health condition, marriage, sex, subjective health condition, scholastic achievement and living expenses. As the subjective oral health condition and health condition were better and in case of sole living and cohabitation of only a couple, male's oral health-related quality of life was higher. • Background: Owing to the increase in the aging population, the health problems of the elderly have become important social problems. Social support has a positive effect on improving the quality of life and prolonging the life of elderly people. It is one of the major factors that affects the oral health status of elderly people. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between oral health status and social support in elderly people using representative data. Methods: In this study, data from a community health survey in 2015 involving 63,929 elderly people aged over 65 years were analyzed. T-test and ANOVA analyses were performed to compare the general characteristics of and perception about social support. Additionally, a linear regression analysis was performed to confirm the relationship between perceptions about social support and subjective oral health status. Results: We found that sex, age, household income, education level, the presence of a spouse, existence of an unmet dental need, and regular oral check-up had a significant effect on subjective oral health status (p<0.05). In addition, when controlled for all factors, social support has a significant impact on subjective oral health status. Conclusion: The findings indicate that social support is associated with the subjective oral health status of Korean elderly. This suggests that community-level or government investment is required to improve the oral health of the elderly. In particular, policy interventions such as the establishment of facilities that promote social networks, especially facilities based on friendship networks, are needed.
