While the body of cases on startup has grown substantially, there has been a lack of a one-stop gateway of entrepreneurship. The study attempts to build a subject gateway for startup information services based on case studies, users' needs analysis, and literature reviews. The results show that users have difficulty in selecting useful information since the excess of information and the search for the desired information as it is scattered across a wide range of sources. The study designed a subject gateway by a navigation system that enables flexible browsing within the entire gateway through the ontology modeling. The study also presented an example of startup records to display how startup information can be explored. This study is expected to contribute to the understanding of the current status related to business startup services. The business startup digital gateways based on empirical data analysis will contribute to extending library service for startup.

High unemployment rates repeatedly cause recurring social problems such as fewer employment opportunities and employment insecurity. Following this trend, various programs related to employment have been provided through various government and institutions. However, they have established overlapping policies and programs and there is no one stop gateway to find effective and efficient way to find relevant information. For this purpose, this study aims to provide employment and job search subject gateway development. The study has carried out case studies, literature reviews, and user survey. Based on this study, it suggested a linked metadata model to organize and link scattered information together, and a digital gateway operating diverse information services. It is expected to provide a basis to develop comprehensive information service model for employment.

인터넷 정보량의 과잉 문제는 이용자에게 많은 제약을 야기 시키고 있다. 이용자들은 정보탐색 및 검색도구로써 인터넷을 사용할 때에 정보 요구, 기술 수준 또는 교육적 배경과 관계없이 정보량, 탐색, 품질, 그리고 신뢰의 문제들에 직면하고 있다. 고품질의 웹정보자원을 이용자에게 제공하는 웹학술정보 주제게이트웨이는 이러한 문제점들에 대한 해결책의 하나이다. 본 연구는 국외 웹학술정보 주제게이트웨이 서비스들의 설립 및 운영상에 나타난 특징들을 살펴보고, 웹학술정보 주제게이트웨이 서비스를 설립 운영하는데 고려해야할 사항들을 파악한다.

In existing wireless ad-hoc networks, how to distribute network resources fairly between many users to optimize data transmission is an important research subject. However, in wireless mesh networks (WMNs), it is one of the research areas to avoid gateway bottleneck more than the fair network resource sharing. It is because WMN traffic are concentrated on the gateway connected to backhaul. To solve this problem, the paper proposes Weighted Fairness Time-sharing Access (WFTA). The proposed WFTA is a priority time scheduling scheme based on Weighted Fair Queuing (WFQ).

QoS is a subject of high interest for successful deployment of various services in a home gateway and the gateway is possible to support QoS by installing existing queuing disciplines, which control the outgoing traffic to guarantee only QoS of the traffic. But m the home gateway it is also important to guarantee QoS of the incoming traffic. This paper proposes an adaptive control of the traffic to guarantee QoS of incoming traffic into the home gateway. In the proposed method, the upper limit of the available bandwidth of sending rate varies with receiving rate. And the proposed method makes the gap between the allocated rate and the actual service rate of the traffic narrow. Some experiments on a test bed show that the proposed method is valid.

최근 정보기술의 급격한 발전에 따른 정보환경의 변화로 대학도서관은 전통적으로 제공하던 이용자 서비스 뿐만 아니라 자료검색 서비스도 웹기반으로 제공하기 시작하였다. 이를 위해서는 모든 유형의 정보자료를 체계적으로 수집 정리 보존하여 이용자의 접근과 검색의 편의성을 높이는 방향으로 웹사이트를 구축해야 한다. 즉, 대학도서관은 소장기능과 접근패러다임을 동시에 수용하는 실물공간이자 가상공간이므로 소장자료의 전자화와 인터넷 봉사기능을 강조하는 게이트웨이 시스템으로 전환해야 한다. 이에 본 연구는 국내 국립대학도서관을 대상으로 웹사이트의 디지털 게이트웨이 기능을 조사 분석하여 문제점을 도출한 다음에 개선방안을 제시하였다.

지식정보 환경의 급속한 변화에 따라 대학도서관에서 효율적인 정보제공을 위한 주제전문화의 역할 방향과 전략에 대한 다양한 방안을 제시한다. 주제전문화 초기 단계에 있는 우리 나라 대학도서관의 현황과 문제점을 파악하여 기능상의 변화와 주제전문화를 위한 역할 방향에 대하여 연구한다. 주요 연구내용으로는 대학도서관의 주제전문화 방향, 형태 및 고려 요소, 주제전문 사서의 역할과 양성 방안, 맞춤형 주제정보제공을 위한 기반 구축과 이용자 교육 강화, 학술정보 주제 게이트웨이 구축을 통한 주제전문화 효과 제고, 그리고 학술정보 공동이용 체제 구축 등을 제안한다.

인터넷 정보 서비스는 대학 도서관 및 연구 기관의 이용자들에게 널리 보급되어 주요 학술 커뮤니케이션 도구로서의 활용도가 점점 높아 가고 있다. 그러나 부적합한 정보량의 과다 문제는 이용자의 효율적인 정보 접근과 이용에 장애 요인이 되고 있다. 본 연구는 인터넷상의 학술 정보 자원을 주제별로 엄선하여 전문가가 직접 질적 수준을 통제하고 있는 주제별 정보 게이트웨이(Subject-based information gateways)의 서비스 내용과 구조를 살펴보았다. 또한 향후 시스템 발전에 요구되는 자원의 유지 및 관리 측면에서의 문제점들을 논의하였다.

본 고에서는 공학분야 중에서도 그 응용범위가 가장 광범위하다고 할 수 있는 기계공학분야의 이용자에게 수준 높은 웹 정보자원을 효율적으로 제공하기 위하여 검색엔진을 통하여 자동 수집된 웹 정보자원을 기계공학분야 주제전문가의 평가를 통해 핵심정보를 선정하고 이를 더블린코어 메타데이터를 응용한 베타데이터 요소에 따라 조직하여 웹 상의 검색 인터페이스에 의해 이용될 수 있도록 주제 게이트웨이 시스템을 설계하였다. 정보자원의 검색방법으로는 키워드 검색과 주제분류체계에 따른 브라우징 검색 등 두 가지 방법을 이용하였다.

The design of gate and runner(delivery system) is one of the most important subject in injection molding. Delivery system is a channel to flow the polymer melt from the injection molding machine to the mold cavities. Also, delivery system affect quality and productivity of the part. The synthesis of delivery system of injection molding has been done empirically, since it requires profound knowledge about the moldability and causal effects on the properties of the part, which are not available to designers through the current CAD systems. GATEWAY is a knowledge module which contains knowledge to permit non-experts as well as mold design experts to generate the acceptable geometries of gate and runner far injection molded parts. A knowledge-based CAD system is constructed by adding the knowledge module, GATEWAY, to an existing geometric modeler. A knowledge-based CAD system is a new tool which enables the concurrent design and CIM with integrated and balanced design decisions at the initial design of injection molding.
