Purpose - Leadership style is an important factor in determining the attitude and behavior of employees and their satisfaction with an organization. Contributing the efficiency of an organization, Especially, servant leadership focusing on meeting employees' hopes and desires positively affect success of the organization and performance of employees. In the airline service industry it is necessary to conduct studies for an internal marketing on servant leadership that emphasizes the trust in the dignity of humans and spirit of service to subordinates as a factor affecting the job satisfaction. Research design, data, and methodology -Therefore, in this research, it is empirically analyzed that employees' perception of a supervisor's support plays mediating role in the relationship between employees' perception of servant leadership and perception of an organization's support using multiple and hierarchal regression analysis targeting 243 employees working in D Airline. Result - As a result, Employees' employees' perceived supervisor's support mediates the relationship between employees' perceived servant leadership of a supervisor and employees' perceived organizational support. Conclusions - This study suggests that the servant leadership of a supervisor perceived by employees constitutes an important preceding variable in enhancing the employees' perception on organizational support.

In an environment that places a priority on morality, authentic leadership is becoming increasingly important. Chinese enterprises are putting a lot of effort into improving their employees' psychological safety and positive psychological capital (PsyCap). This study examines the influence of authentic leadership on positive PsyCap and psychological safety, as well as the influence of positive PsyCap on psychological safety in China. It also examines whether positive PsyCap plays a mediating role. Authentic leadership has a positive effect on both positive PsyCap and psychological safety. Positive PsyCap also has a positive effect on psychological safety. Moreover, positive PsyCap had a mediation effect on the relationship between authentic leadership and psychological safety. This result means that an authentic leadership style can stimulate employees' psychological capital, make the staff more confident and promote optimistic attitudes, hopeful minds, and plenty of other positive psychological states. At the same time, it promotes the psychological safety of employees in Chinese art enterprises. The significance of this study is that it investigates the effects and processes of authentic leadership on psychological safety and positive PsyCap in Chinese art enterprises. The implications of this research bridge a theoretical gap in the field, and provide feasible suggestions and guidance for development in the discipline. Enterprises should attach importance to the selection, cultivation, and appointment of authentic leaders. They must also pay attention to trends in employee psychological safety and positive PsyCap.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the causal relationship between job characteristics and creativity. The role of transformational leadership is also examined. To identify the relationship between core team job characteristics and transformational leadership, an empirical survey was conducted through surveys of domestic distribution companies. Among the collected questionnaires, missing and insincere responses were excluded and 636 individuals of 107 teams were used for the SPSS 18 analysis. It was found that job meaningfulness was positively related to team creativity and transformational leadership also had a significant effect. Task feedback was shown to be an important factor on the motivation to perform tasks successfully. In the case of transformational leadership, this leadership style helped individuals overcome fear by providing support, sympathy, and consideration to create novel ideas. But, its effects were different on team creativity when it interacted with core job characteristics. Departments where creativity is highly emphasized within an organization are able to design job characteristics which fit the task at hand. Moreover, transformational leadership brings about different effects on team creativity when it interacts with job characteristics. The findings of this study suggest that organizations should consider characteristics of tasks and individuals as well when conducting education and training.

The purpose of this study was to find out how the leadership of superiors at the university library - transformational and transactional leadership - could affect the job satisfaction of subordinates. For this purpose, verification was performed with the subject of 155 librarians working at 11 university libraries in Busan. The following are the results of this study. 1) There was positive correlation between the leadership type of superiors and the job satisfaction of subordinates. Transformational leadership turned out to have higher correlation with job satisfaction than transactional leadership. 2) Intellectual stimulation·inspiration affects promotion practices and supervision style. 3) When analyzing the controlling effect of individual characteristics, only gender and marital status are used as a controlling variables between transformational leadership and job satisfaction.
The purpose of this study is to propose an effective leadership in the hospital management by analyzing the relationship of the effect of the specialty hospital CEO's leadership on the employees' organizational effectiveness as well as the customer orientation, and the mediation effects of the organizational effectiveness on the relation between hospital CEO's leadership and the customer orientation. The questionnaires of the survey targeting the 99 specialty hospitals were collected that 786 copies of them were utilized in analysis. The major outcomes of the research can be summarized as follows. Firstly, transformational leadership of specialty hospital CEO generally has the greater impact on the employees' job satisfaction, organizational commitment and turnover intention than his transactional leadership. Secondly, the most important sub-variable of specialty hospital CEO leadership affecting the organizational effectiveness of the employees are charisma of transformational leadership and contingent reward of transactional leadership. Thirdly, the sub-variable of specialty hospital CEO leadership which has the greatest impact on customer orientation of employees is the active management-by-exception of transactional leadership. Fourthly, the sub-variables in the organizational effectiveness such as job satisfaction, organizational commitment and the turnover intention of hospital employees play mostly the partial mediation role between the customer orientation of employees and the leadership of a specialty hospital CEO. This means that the more the organizational effectiveness of specialty hospital employees improves, the more the customer orientation does. Thus, specialty hospital CEOs need to pay attention to the sub-variables in organizational effectiveness so as to improve the customer orientation of the employees. To explore further the nature of the effect of hospital leadership in the future, apart form the variables of the organization effectiveness used in this study to improve the customer orientation of employees through the leadership of the specialty hospital CEO, the research to identify other factors which have greater influence and explanatory power will be needed.
There is an important concern regarding the First-line nurse manager's leadership because of the recognition that effectiveness of Leadership in this position results in benefits for the whole health care organization. So knowledge and practice of effective leadership behavior are now more essential to nursing than ever before. First-line Nurse Managers must be effective leaders to meet today's challenge because staff nurse, patient are affected by them. So the purpose of this study was to identify and to analyse the need for Leadership program of First-Line nurse managers in university hospitals. There were three major purposes of this study. First, identify First-line nurse managers general characteristic, second, identify their experience of leadership training, third, identify and analysis their demands for leadership training program. The subjects for this study was 167 First-line nurse manager randomly from 18 university hospitals in Korea. The data were collected through questionnaires from Oct. 13th to Nov. 20th, 1997, data was analysed using frequencies and percentages. Especially the steps of analysis of descriptions were as follows: Initial analysis centered on the identification of the demands of first-line nurse managers. Later analysis collapsed the demands into broad categories. From the collect data, 283 demands of first-line nurse managers were identified. These demands were then sorted into 3 broad categories that included : Self development as first-line nurse managers, relationship with others, and practice. The result of the study were as follows ; 1) Most of nurse managers(79.6%) had leadership training course and had good experience to improve self leadership. 2) Their demands of leadership training course are as follows First, for self as first-line nurse managers, they want to learn leadership theory, identify their leadership style and then develop their leadership skill. Second, for others as first-line nurse managers, they want to improve their communication skill, empowering others, relationship with others. Third, for patients as first-line nurse managers, improve their knowledge of practice. From the above finding, this study can be suggested the following; 1. Develope a leadership training course to improve first- line nurse manager's leadership skill according to their demands, so they will be better able to lead staff nurses for organization purposes. 2. When develope leadership training program, it must be contained the factors which first-line nurse managers want to learn.

This study focused on finding out how transformational leadership, emotional leadership, and servant leadership in military organizations affected organizational effectiveness (commission satisfaction, immersion, and organizational citizen behavior) by special forces, standing forces, GTO, independent units on the coast, and educational institutions and training units. Therefore, in order to achieve this research objective, we intend to utilize two studies, the literature and the empirical studies, in this paper. This study analyzes the effect of leadership styles (transformational leadership, transactional leadership, and servant leadership) of CEOs at small and medium-sized enterprises on the organizational effectiveness of the employees (organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior). A survey was conducted on 573 employees of domestic small and medium-sized enterprises in the electric, electronic, and IT industries, and the data was used to perform statistical analysis. As the result, charisma of transformational leadership, individual consideration, emotional healing of servant leadership, wisdom, and stewardship were shown to have positive effect on the organizational commitment. Furthermore, charisma of transformational leadership, exceptional management of transactional leadership, wisdom of servant leadership, and stewardship were shown to have positive effect on organizational citizenship behavior.
