보건계열 대학생들의 방사선사 이미지에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Influencing Factors of Radiological Technologist Image of Allied Health College Students)

  • 본 연구는 보건계열 대학생들의 방사선사 이미지를 조사하여 전문직업인으로서의 방사선사 이미지 향상과 위상을 높이기 위한 기초 자료를 제시하기 위하여 부산광역시와 경상남도 소재 3, 4년제 5개 대학의 보건계열학과 중 임상실습을 이수한 보건계열 전공 대학생을 대상으로 2011년 8월 1일에서 2011년 8월 15일까지 자기기입식 설문조사를 실시 한 후, 자료가 불충분한 17명을 제외한 총 233명을 최종 대상으로 하였다. 자료의 분석은 SAS(ver 9.1)을 사용하여 t-검정, ANOVA, 다중회귀분석 등을 시행한 결과 대상자들의 방사선사 전체 이미지는 $3.33{\pm}0.46$점으로 나타났다. 영역별로는 개인적 이미지가 $3.43{\pm}0.56$점으로 가장 높았고, 사회적 이미지가 $3.12{\pm}0.58$점으로 가장 낮았다. 문항별로는 '전문직이다'가 $3.99{\pm}0.79$점으로 가장 높았고 '일하기 쉽고 스트레스가 없는 직업이다'가 $2.88{\pm}0.98$점으로 가장 낮았다. 학과별로는 방사선과가 $3.46{\pm}0.46$점으로 가장 높았고 물리치료과가 $3.24{\pm}0.40$점으로 가장 낮았다. 방사선사 이미지에 영향을 미치는 요인은 학제, 대중매체를 통한 방사선사 보도 청취 여부, 실습 시 방사선사와의 직접적 교류 여부, 방사선사 위치 등으로 나타났다. 산학협력과 대중매체를 통하여 방사선사에 대한 사회적 이미지를 향상 시키고 방사선사 개인의 능력과 전문성을 길러 의료기관내 위상을 높임으로서 방사선사에 대한 이미지가 긍정적으로 변화 될 수 있게 노력하여 향후 방사선사가 전문 직업인으로 발전되어 나갈 수 있도록 해야 할 것으로 생각한다.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate various opinions on changes and revisions in the Medical Technician Act, to compare the curriculum of radiological technologist and physicians or dentists, and to compare the definitions and scope of work of radiological technologist in Korea and abroad. From the information, The goal is to review whether the phrase 'guidance of a doctor or dentist' specified in the definition of the 'Act on Medical Technicians, etc.' is realistically appropriate. radiological technologist receive specialized college education on radioligical science & medical imaging. The training hours for radiolgical science student are greater than medical students. In addition, radiological technologists are continuously developing their competencies for new knowledge and skills through continuing education in clinical fields. In particular, radiological technologist are making steady research efforts to reduce patient exposure and improve medical image quality. As a result of this investigation, it is considered that the term "guided by a doctor or dentist" as currently defined in the 'Act on Medical Technicians, etc.' may need to be revised in consideration of the professionalism of the radiological technologist.

3D 프린팅 구조물을 이용한 자기주도 학습방법이 방사선학과 학생들에 미치는 교육 효과 (Educational Effects of Self-directed Learning Method Using 3D Printing Products on Radiological Science Students)

  • 본 연구에서는 방사선영상학 수업에서 3D 프린팅 해부학 구조물을 이용한 자기주도 학습이 교육 효과에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 하였다. 대상은 4년제 대학교의 방사선학과 2학년의 32명(남자: 20명, 여자: 12명)으로 방사선영상학 교과목을 수강한 재학생들로서 소극적인 학생 그룹과 적극적인 학생 그룹으로 구분하였다. 학습방법은 3D 프린팅 해부학적 구조물을 이용한 자기주도 학습으로 진행했으며 학습 전·후로 정량적 학습개선효과를 평가하였다. 학생들의 정성적인 평가를 위해 수업의 흥미도, 만족도 그리고 학습효과(해부학 명칭 암기 용이성, X선 영상 해독력, 해부학 구조물 이해도, X선 촬영법 이해도)에 대해서 5점 리커트 5점 척도로 분석하였다. 그 결과 학습개선효과는 평균 65.4%가 향상되었으며 모든 학생들이 모든 변수에서 높은 점수를 얻었다 특히, 흥미도와 X선 영상 해독력을 제외한 모든 변수에서 소극적 학생그룹이 적극적인 학생그룹보다 높은 상관계수를 보였다. 이러한 결과는 3D 프린팅 해부학 구조물을 이용한 자기주도 학습이 방사선학과 학생들에게 긍정적인 교육효과를 기대할 수 있다.

방사선과 학생 임상실습 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on Clinical Demonstration Assessment for the Radiotechnological Students of College in Korea)

  • This is an exploratory study to describe clinical demonstration patterns assessment and training-related problems(TRP) in Korea. A probability sample was drawn from Nation-Wide area by a multi-stage cluster sampling. This study in radiotechnological students of college over two years from 1997. Clinical demonstration patterns in this study involve a fundamental concept of radiotechnological students, a general notion of clinical demonstration, a rates of satisfaction in clinical demonstration, clinical demonstration patterns assessment, and training-related problems(TRP). High prevalence rates of clinical demonstration were found in male, students over twenty-four years old, those who perform at least hospital in college of medicine.

방사선과 대학생이 생각하는 개인병원에 근무하는 방사선사의 이미지 연구 (A Study on the Image of Radiological Technologists in Private Hospitals Perceived by University Students Majoring in Radiology)

  • 본 연구는 방사선과 대학생을 대상으로 개인병원에 근무하는 방사선사의 이미지에 대한 유형을 파악하고, 범주화된 유형에 따라 개인병원 방사선사의 이미지 향상을 위한 전략을 제시하고자 수행되었다. 본 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 인간의 주관성 연구에 적합한 Q방법론을 적용하였다. 방사선과 대학생 31명을 P 표본으로 하여, 이들의 20개의 Q표본을 강제분포하도록 하였다. 연구결과 방사선과 대학생이 생각하는 개인병원에 근무하는 방사선사의 이미지는 3가지 유형으로 발견되었으며, '미래 불안정형', '업무 분위기 긍정형', '조직체계 불만족형'으로 확인되었다. 본 연구는 각 유형별 특징을 파악하여 개인병원에 근무하는 방사선사의 이미지를 향상시키기 위한 기초자료로 활용할 수 있다고 생각한다.

방사선사의 의료서비스에 대한 임상실습 학생들의 인식도 (A Study on the Perception of Clinical Training Students Toward the Medical Service of Radiotechnologists)

  • The purpose of this study was to assess the perception of students who have been clinical training course toward the medcal service of radiotechnologist. To perform this purpose, a total 313 students at 6 different colleges were interviewed with questionnaires from March to June in 1998. The results of the study are as follow : 1. The most of all students were answered that the working area and equipments were very clean. There were no differences between the types of the hospital. 2. 46.3% of students were answered that the radiotechnologists had a good releationship with the doctors. 3. 81.1% of students were answered that the radiotechnologists explained very kindly to the patients about the treatment processes. 4. There were a little differences between the female and male students about the degree of professional knowledge and their kindness. The data were analysed and processed by several advanced statistical techniques of SPSS/PC+ program version 7.5.

방사선 재학생 전공교과목 학습에서 인터넷 활용 실태 (Actual Use of Internet in Curriculum Study of Students in Radiology)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze questionnaires of 161 college students attending radiology departments in order to investigate the actual condition of internet use of radiology students. As a result, 95% of college students using the Internet showed 5.8% of general knowledge, 56.9% of radiation major, and 45.8% of general education. In the field of Internet use, basic medicine was 71.2%, anatomy 59.5% and physiology 51.6%. Radiation theory was 39.9% in radiation physics, 31.4% in radiation biology, and 18.3% in radiation management. The radiological applications were followed by radiography and radiography in order of 31.4% and 20.3%, respectively. The radiological imaging was 45.8%, MRI was 37.9%, CT was 37.3%, ultrasound was 24.2%, And radiation nuclear medicine 25.5%. The results of the descriptive statistics of the satisfaction of the contents using the Internet media showed that the overall satisfaction was below 2.5 Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to develop a program with high accessibility to provide various opportunities for internet-based opportunities to increase the academic achievement value of major subjects through the internet and to solve the difficulties in the major subject.

실시간 비대면 수업환경을 2년간 경험한 학생들의 만족도 조사 연구: 방사선전공학생들을 대상으로 (The Study on Satisfactory Rate with Students Which Experienced Non-face-to-face Online Class Environment for Two Years: For Radiology Majoring Students)

  • This study is a questionnaire about the lesson environment that radiation major students prefer in a non-face-to-face live online lesson environment for a total of 133 students, 65 second graders and 68 third graders who are enrolled in the department of radiology at a university located in the Seoul metropolitan area. And checked the satisfactory level by grade. The questionnaire consists of three categories: 1st real-time non-face-to-face lectures, 2nd professor lectures, and 3rd corona lectures. A total of 14 questions, with multiple choice and descriptive response methods. As an evaluation method, in the case of a multiple-choice question, the average was calculated using a 5-point Likert scale. As a result of conducting the independent sample T-test of the SPSS program, the response by grade was P > 0.05, and no significant result was shown by the contents of the questionnaire survey of the second grade. As for the lecture method of the department of radiology after the end of Covid-19 virus, it is better to promote face-to-face lessons in radiation training subjects and non-face-to-face real-time education in subjects centered on radiation theory.

방사선관리구역의 공간선량률 교육을 위한 가상현실 시뮬레이터의 개발과 유용성 평가 (Development and Usefulness Evaluation of Virtual Reality Simulator for Education of Spatial Dose Rate in Radiation Controlled Area)

  • This study developed education contents of measuring spatial dose with virtual reality simulation and applied to students majoring radiological science. The virtual reality(VR) contents with measuring spatial dose rate in the radiation controlled area was developed based on the simulation from pilot study. In this simulation, the tube voltage and tube current can be set from 60 to 120 kVp in 10 kVp steps and 10 to 40 mAs in 10 mAs increments, and the distance from source can be set from 30 to 400 cm continuously. Iron and lead shields can be placed between the source and the detector, and shielding thickness can be set by 1 mm increments ranging from 1 to 20 mm. We surveyed to students for evaluating improvement of understanding spatial dose rate between before and after education by VR simulation. The survey was conducted with 5 questions(X-ray exposure factors, effects by distance from the source, effects from using shield, depending on material and thickness of shield, concept and measuring of spatial dose rate) and all answers showed significant improvement. Therefore, this VR simulation content will be well used in education for spatial dose rate and radiation safety environments.

방사선사 국가시험 준비를 위한 대학생들의 과목별 중요도와 이해도 수준 및 요구도 분석 (Analysis of Importance, Understanding Level and Needs by Subject of College Students Preparing for Radiological Technologists National Examination)

  • The aim of this study analyzed the important level (IL) and understanding level (UL) including the Borich's need for students preparing of the national examination for radiological technologists at online open chatting room. A total of 254 survey were collected from a total of 1,016 students who used open chatting room from December 13 to December 16, 2022. A general characteristics were the age, gender, curriculum (3 or 4 years), grade and area. The IL, UL, learning satisfaction (LS), learning achievement (LA) and intention to continue using (ICU) were analyzed by using the 5 point Likert scale. There was no significant difference the LS, LA, and ICU according to general characteristics (p>0.05). There was a statistically significant difference a total of sixteen subjects based on the t-test results of the response values from the IL and UL (p<0.05). The total of ten subjects with the highest priority in the Locus for Focus models were the Ultrasonography, Human anatomy, Magnetic resonance imaging, Radiation therapy, Cardiovascular and intervention, Computed tomography, Human physiology, Radiographic imaging, Fluroscopic radiography, and Nuclear medicine) that the Borich's need was also the same as the top 10 ranked subjects. The LS (4.23±0.72), LA (4.18±0.73), and ICU (4.15±0.78) for open chatting room were high. This study identified the subjects most needed by college students by the Borich's need analysis. First, it is necessary to provide intensive education on subjects with high scores that are most needed by college students. Second, it is necessary to improve the teaching method for subjects with low need and low level of understanding.
