First we have studied the law and the theory of architectural planning and design guides those are related with handicapped people. And it was surveyed the existing state of the dormitories facilities and made a checklist. And the satisfaction about the facilities was questioned to the handicapped students who used those buildings. It is concluded that most of the universities which we have surveyed were equipped with good facilities for the general students but don't have regards for handicapped people at that time. As the result of the rate of the satisfaction, they are satisfied those facilities generally. As you can see the result of this research, the facilities in University are not very good for handicapped people in many points. So that kind of many facilities must be taken into consideration for handicapped people in the stage of architectural programming in the process of designing the dormitory building.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate compensatory consumption propensity by male and female college students. The subjects of the study were 483 college students in Seoul, and SPSS 12.0 was used for statistical analysis. Two different types of compensatory consumption were considered separately positive compensatory consumption and negative compensatory consumption. The major findings were as follows. First, for male college students, drinking was the most preferable means of compensatory consumption to compensate for both negative and positive emotions. For female college students, their consumption patterns tended to include clothing purchase and eating-out for positive emotions and eating-out, reading and drinking for compensating negative emotions. Second, for both male and female students, the consumption propensity for compensating positive emotion was found to be higher than that for compensating negative emotion. And the consumption propensities for compensating positive and negative emotions were higher for female students when compared to those of male students. According to the results of regression analysis showing the relative effect of each variable to compensatory consumption, sex and consumption tendency were found to be relative variables on both positive and negative compensatory consumptions. Female students were found to be more likely to consume for compensating emotion than male students after other variables were controlled. For positive compensatory consumption, consumption propensity and materialism were found to be the most effective variables, and for negative compensatory consumption, materialism was the most effective variable.

In terms of the suitability of Housing to the students’learning development levels, the degree of suitability is in the order of the significance of housing, housing sanitation, the types of housing, the space for housing, the ground plan of housing, the arrangement of furniture. The contents about the interior decoration and gardening of the existing text book have turned out not to be appropriate.. In terms of the relation between the place of residence and the curriculum, Housing is suitable for the city, but not for the farming, mining, and sea village, Teachers suggest that the content of the curriculum about Housing should be varied according to the location of the school. 3. • This study investigates the effect of parental attachment on job seeking stress among the university students and junior college students. We explore the mediating effects of self-efficacy and career maturity on the relations between parental attachment and job seeking stress. We selected 292 university students and 285 junior college students as participants from Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do. All participants completed surveys on the measurement of parental attachment, self-efficacy, career maturity, and job seeking stress. Collected data was analyzed by descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation, structural equational models, and Sobel test with SPSS software ver. 18.0 and Amos software ver. 18.0. The major findings are as follow. First, parental attachment had no significant effect on job seeking stress. Second, self-efficacy and career maturity mediated between parental attachment and job seeking stress. In addition, there were significant differences between university students and junior college students regarding the relation between parental attachment and job seeking stress. Junior college student's career maturity had a greater influence than that of the university students. The findings of this study suggest that intervention to address self-efficacy and career maturity are important to resolve college students' job seeking stress; in addition, school type should be considered to understand job seeking stress.
