This study aimed to evaluate correlation between self-evaluation factors(satisfaction, linkage with major, suitability of management, verbal and non-verbal communication) and academic achievement of medical students according to introduction of explanation meeting in cadaveric dissection. The study was carried out that medical students(n=57) explained cadaveric structure to health allied sciences students and discussed with each other. Just after the meeting,, medical students filled out a questionnaire on impact of self-evaluation factors and communication. We analyzed these factors and their scores using frequency analysis, T-test and analysis of variance. Regardless of their gender, age, previous experience, the majority of the students gave high scores in all of self-evaluation factors. Among them, only verbal communication factor was closely related to their academic achievement(p<0.05). The verbal and non-verbal communication also had a high correlation of 0.673(p<0.01). The explanation meeting provided chance to learn further with positive attitude to medical students and motivated them academically. Additionally, they realized that communication skill played a key role in transmitting medical knowledge to others. Therefore, introduction of communication-based explanation meeting would be very useful tool in improving educational efficiency.

Purpose: This study was performed to evaluate of practicum by using standardized patient(SP) for nursing assessment. Method: This study had 2 steps. The 1st-step was pre-intervention stage including selection of a learning title, formation of case scenario, training of SP and developing the evaluation tools for students' clinical competence to assessment, 6 categories 29 items. The 2nd-step consisted of intervention and evaluation stages. 34 nursing students divided 2 groups participated in assessing the SP. Evaluation of each group was performed by 2 nursing professors. All students recorded their feelings after assessing the SP. The SP also evaluated about nursing students' attitude toward the SP. Results: ICC(Interclass correlation coefficient) between 2 groups was over 0.7 all categories. Students' assessing score(range 0-1) was muscular-joint function status(0.41), nutritional status(0.39), history taking(0.38), IADL(0.18), ADL(0.15), and emotional status (0.07). The mean scores of the nursing students' attitude by SP was 4.03(range 1-6). Also most students showed positive reactions to the education using SP because they had the chance to experience what they could not practice in clinical setting. Conclusion: The evaluation tool revealed high reliability. Nursing students' clinical competence was below average. But they took a good attitude to SP. We recommended further research using SP with various disease.

In this study, the consumers were classified into Risk Avoidance Group, Enjoyment and Economy Group, Low Involving Group and High Involving Group by shopping propensity of the consumers and investigated the difference in their evaluation criteria and purchasing intention. The samples used in this study are 214 university students in Busan area who visited the internet shopping mall or had an experience to buy clothes through an internet. The purpose of this study is to identify how the internet university students' clothes shopping propensity and demographical factors affect the evaluation criteria and purchasing intention for clothes. And based on the results, the implications for internet clothes shopping mall are suggested and post research subject is provided as well.

This study performs the objective evaluation on simple comparison and calculation works by students under LED illumination conditions according to three types of color temperatures (7000K, 5000K, 3000K) in the classroom, Since the objective of this study is to develop an electric lighting conditions suitable for students in the classroom, the learning performance under three types of LED illumination conditions were analyzed. The 4 kinds of simple tests concerning with learning performance were developed and test results under natural light and LED illumination by 3 types of color temperatures were analyzed. There were differences by t-test in most cases among simple experiment results of different illumination conditions ($p{\leq}.05$). It was confirmed that illumination condition plays an important role when students simply compare words or perform arithmetic calculations. The experimental results of this study might be applied to designing better luminous environment.

This paper diagnose subjects and measures the learning ability of students based on the goal of developing an assessment tool for education productivity based on multi-aspect evaluation conducted by ICEE at Honam University. Furthermore, develop an assessment tool for education productivity that provides a motive to bring detailed improvements in teaching methods through the diagnosis. In addition, a method for compensating the issues and improving the quality of subject is suggested to develop learning ability of students through applying the assessment tool. An integrated operated system of CQI is desired to be built along with quality improvement of education through measuring academic quality by studying the methods for enhancing academic and learning ability achievement from analysis of the curriculum provided in the "ABEEK program". Through this study the current state of education productivity is presented through analyzing the difference between students who participated in the "ABEEK program" and who did not participate, and operating a comparison between the student's comprehension on their majors and liberal arts by the multi-aspect evaluation that has been conducted for 2 years.

In recent years, domestic e-learning market has made rapid progress in its quality and quantity with the astonishing rate growth of internet. Although educational Websites are replacing the traditional second level education market, many of those Websites' contents have poor or unknown quality. To build an effective educational Website, it is essential to have clear evaluation criteria. Therefore, this study aims to examine what evaluation factors influence the satisfaction level of educational Websites for elementary school students. In conclusion, implications are discussed along with limitations and future research direction.

The purposes of this study are to investigate American university students′responses to Kimchi and their preference on different kinds of Kimchi as indicated by a survey and sensory evaluation and to globalize Kimchi. About 400 Indiana University students in IN, USA participated in perception survey of Kimchi, which consisted of 64.8% of male and 35.2% of female.37.3% of all the participants knew what Kimchi was and 30.3% had eaten Kimchi before the survey. The students′responses to the 12 questions about Kimchi were measured on 5 point Likert scale. The item "Kimchi is nutritious and healthy" was totally received the highest point and "Kimchi is a good side with beer or wine" roamed the lowest. Furthermore, gender and the precious visitation to Korea laid an important part in the experiment. As the result of sensory evaluation, the American students preferred Kimchi that made out of soaking Baechu for 3 hours to 5 hours. When the Kimchi was fermented at room temperature(20~22$^{\circ}C$), the score decreased as the fermentation period was increased. However, the scores for the Kimchi preserved in the refrigeratior(5~1$0^{\circ}C$) did not vary remarkably. And the most preferred Kimchi by the students was one-day old. The dishes using Kimchi as the main ingredient are lifted according to the students preference as follows : Kimchi Ramen, Kimchi Mandu, Kimchi Hamburger, and Kimchi Bokumbap, and so on.

The purpose of this research was to evaluate the harmony of colors of the traditional Korean skirt and jacket. 3 colors of jacket and 6 colors of skirt were combined by 4 kind of colors tone. The Korean women college students and the American women college students (University of Wisconsin-Madison) were selected to evaluate the harmony of colors. It could be supposed that the different evaluation were caused by their different cultural backgrounds. The results of the research can be summarized as follows. When colors were combined with four tone(vivid, light, dull and dark), American students evaluated the same colors of red skirt and red jacket, green skirt and green jacket as harmonized coloration. But Korean students thought they were not harmonized. The yellow colors of jacket and the similar colors of red skirt were evaluated as harmonized by both Korean and American students. They evaluated the green jacket and the red skirt of contrast color as harmonized. The different tone of color caused the different evaluation of harmony of colors by both Korean and American students.

This study was to analyze the effect of 'mobile science-lab' through the survey of students' perception. 'Mobile science-lab' is the one of the most distinguished public science programs and has been made in order to promote the students' understanding of science by providing students an opportunity to be engaged in several activities of science and high-technology. To fulfill the purpose of this study, we analyzed the opinions of 3,643 students who participated in 'mobile science-lab'. As the results, 'mobile science-lab' is very effective on improving the students' interest and concern of science. Most students recognized that the best advantage of 'mobile science-lab' is the participation in experiments. To overcome the mobile science-lab's some limits, more researches including development of the training program of science show coordinators should be done.

Increasing interest in computer-mediated learning technologies has prompted educators to incorporate them into many learning environments ; however, there is still little evaluative evidence to support their effectiveness. This report describes the development and evaluation of a web-based instructional program on basic nursing science for nursing students. Researcher-designed questionnaires were used to assess the characteristics of our students, and to solicit their ratings of the instructional program on ease of use, accuracy of content, clarity of content, interest, and convenience of the program, using 5-point Likert scales. The respondents indicated that the package was easy and convenient to use, with high technical quality, and of a level challenging to some but not all of the students. On-line quizzes were most highly rated. Also it was confirmed that frequent users of electronic bulletin board showed much higher achievement score than that of nonfrequent users. It was also found that the effect of cyber education was dependent on the active participation of the students. These data suggest that the use of web-based instructional program as a distance education strategy can be an effective method for nursing students and nurses.
