The student group division is benefit for universities to do the student management based on the group profile. With the widespread use of student smart cards on campus, especially where students living in campus residence halls, students' daily activities on campus are recorded with information such as smart card swiping time and location. Therefore, it is feasible to depict the students with the daily activity data and accordingly group students based on objective measuring from their campus behavior with some regular student attributions collected in the management system. However, it is challenge in feature representation due to diverse forms of the student data. To effectively and comprehensively represent students' behaviors for further student group division, we proposed to adopt activity data from student smart cards and student attributes as input data with taking account of activity and attribution relationship types from different perspective. Specially, we propose a novel student group division method based on a multi-view student attribute heterogeneous information network (MSA-HIN). The network nodes in our proposed MSA-HIN represent students with their multi-dimensional attribute information. Meanwhile, the edges are constructed to characterize student different relationships, such as co-major, co-occurrence, and co-borrowing books. Based on the MSA-HIN, embedded representations of students are learned and a deep graph cluster algorithm is applied to divide students into groups. Comparative experiments have been done on a real-life campus dataset collected from a university. The experimental results demonstrate that our method can effectively reveal the variability of student attributes and relationships and accordingly achieves the best clustering results for group division.

As basic data about students' career education in high school are being managed only in forms of NEIS, which is supported by Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, and the information for career education that homeroom teachers have operated by off-line system, it is hard to use them as practical decision support system for students' career education. In this study, we intend to design and embody web-based Student Management Total System by constructing DB of students' e-portfolios, school records and counselling data etc. And our ultimate goal with this system is helping teachers to carry out more effective career education geared to each individual student's talent and aptitude by integrating and sharing information about their career on the web site systematically.

Just as social welfare facilities and system are the barometers of a nation's quality & standard of living, the facilities of student's union building symbolizes level of welfare facilities and systems of a university. A university is a group of individuals searching for and studying the truth, so it is the highest of all education centers. At the same time, a university builds one's character. this infers that leisure activity in a university is a condition that facilitates the ability to create a healthy body and healthy soul. Additionally, active experiences for a human social life take people away from daily stresses and release the tensions of university studies. Therefore, a university campus should be built not only for students researching and studying, but also to aid in the growth of a students body, soul and mind. When creating a university master plan, increasing the number of students, promotion of a good educational environment and preparation of students for future development should be of primary consideration. There are several factors to aid this. The factors are; the academic plan, leisure activity, the belief system of university student and physical and environmental factors. The research presented here tells us the most important factor for developing the master plan of a student's union building

Since internships or field training provide students with opportunities to choose skills, business interests and aptitudes in the actual workplace, their significant role in higher education has been gradually emphasized. In particular, engineering students gain increased adaptability to the industry, enhance their research abilities and acquire field-based expertise through internships or field training. However, effective operation of such internships or field training often pose various limitations. In this regard, the development of a system to manage students properly is urgently required for the effective operation of internships or field training. Systematic management of a series of related information ranging from a survey on the demand for internships or field training, planning, development and operation of pre-training programs, student guidance through information sharing between universities and businesses, data-gathering with regard to students' difficulties and their requirements, to prospects for future employment. In line with these requirements, this study attempts to present a modeling scheme for the development of a student management system for use in internships or field training. Towards this end, a questionnaire survey is conducted with engineering professors, students and graduates, along with a review of related literature to identify the needs for system development. Based on the results, a model of the system will be proposed through expert consultation.

In recent years, e-portfolios and webfolios have been highly vaunted as the next great innovation in education. Hundreds of academic institutions are variously studying, using, or innovating e-portfolio systems. Despite the presumed goodness of e-portfolios, some problems remain. In this paper we review the existing e-portfolio management systems, and propose and implement a novel system to overcome the limits of the existing e-portfolio management systems. The propose e-portfolio management system has a structure of competition with others. All of the student's activities are accomplished and preserved within the same personal web space like a blog with mutual engagements and recommendations.

This paper deals with the individual homework creating and management system. The proposed system can be applied to various types of homeworks such as problem solving, experiment and watching some video material related to lecture. Every authorized student can connect the web server in which the proposed system is implemented and download his assignment which is different from other student's. Also we provide real application examples to show the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed system regarding 3 types of assignments and expect to help the students to do self-regulated study and improve their professional capability.

Purpose - For many Vietnamese students, the national high school graduation examination is one of the most important exams in their lives, transitioning from high school to tertiary education. Considering that the national examination is exceptionally important for admission of higher education, failure of management system and educational inequalities lead to serious academic concerns. By using the concept of justice and motivation, the current study aimed to explore the effects of justice dimensions and motivation on student satisfaction in the context of education, specifically focusing on the national examination for higher education. Research design, data and methodology - In this regard, this study proposed a conceptual model and conducted an online survey to test relevant hypotheses. Result - The empirical findings of the study found that procedural, distributive justice, and intrinsic motivation affected the level of student satisfaction. The results found that distributive and procedural justice and intrinsic motivation showed significant on satisfaction. Conclusion - The results of this study would be useful for policymakers to make more informed choices and also suggest further programs and projects of the Vietnamese government, aiming to develop the system of university admissions in the future. This study suggests that adoption of better management system and policies will significantly affect academic satisfaction and higher education environment.
