간호사가 지각하는 간호조직문화와 조직몰입간의 관계 분석 (Analysis of Relationship between Nursing Organization Culture and Organizational Commitment)

  • Nursing organization culture is common patterns of believing, thinking and behaving resulted from a variety of experiences and interaction nurses in the same setting. This study was performed based on the assumption of existence of different subcultures within meta-culture, to identify the differences of subculture among 5 nursing units and to analyze the relationship between nursing organization culture and organizational commitment In this study, two kinds of instruments were used. One was the instrument of nursing organization culture developed by researcher through literature review and interview with nurses. The other one was Mowday's Organizational Commitment Questionnaire to measure organizational commitment of nurses. Both of them were structured with 5 scale. The answers were analyzed using SPSS program. The results were as follows : The meta-culture of the nursing organization culture was the people stable culture. There were significant differences in people development culture and people stable culture among 5 nursing units and all 5 units had different culture score. Especially, emergency room had strong development culture, and stable culture was dominant in operating room. Other units except emergency room and operating room had high scores in people stable culture than other culture types, but revealed different distribution. There were significant differences of the nursing organizational culture types -people development, task development, people stable, task stable-among 5 units. Four types of nursing organizational culture consisted of competing values in one organization. Nurses's organizational commitments were sign ificantly different among the units. The score per ceived by nurses who work in emergency room, operating room and leu was higher commitment score than that of medical/surgical nursing units Nurse's commitment to nursing organization was also related to total work period as nurse in any setting and work period in this hospital. Organizational commitment was significantly different among the nursing culture types, indicating that the scores of developmental culture were higher than stable culture. In conclusion, there were many different subcultures in nursing organization. In subculture, the organizational commitment was different. Therefore, the change of nursing organization culture or nursing unit culture needs to be considered to hire, give orientation, teach. and reallocate nurses efficiently. Research on nursing organization culture using both qualitative and quantitative method needs to be further considered. Furthermore, the strategy in nursing organization culture for nursing administrator to manage human resources efficiently and to change nursing unit effectively, needs to be developed.

  • 수학 영재들은 타고난 수학적 소질과 적성, 지적인 능력과 창의성을 바탕으로 참신한 과제에 대한 도전적이고 창조적인 호기심을 가지고 있다. 영재아들의 창의적인 사고력을 길러주기 위해서는 다양한 방법으로 문제 해결에 접근하게 하고 전략적 시도를 할 수 있도록 만들어주어야 한다. 이런 관점에서 볼 때 개방적이고 비정형적인 문제를 영재 교육프로그램의 과제로 선정하는 것은 바람직하다 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 유형의 개방형 문제를 구안하고, 이를 토대로 영재 학급에서 학습 활동을 전개한 후, 문제해결 과정에서 영재아들의 수학적 사고 능력의 특성과 문제 해결 전략 사례를 분석하여, 개방형 과제를 활용한 초등학교 영재 수업에 관한 시사점을 얻고자 하였다.

비계설정 유형 선정 및 이에 근거한 수업 실행과 분석 (The Establishment of the scaffolding type and the execution on experimental instruction)

  • ygotsky(1978)에 따르면, 근접발달영역 이론은 학습자가 독립적으로 문제를 해결할 수 없으나 도움을 받으면 해결할 수 있는 범위, 즉 근접발달영역 내에서의 사회적 상호 작용을 통해 실제적 발달 수준에서 잠재적 발달 수준으로의 발달이 일어나는 효과적인 학습이 가능함을 주장하였다. 근접발달영역 내에서 이루어지는 이러한 도움과 지원체제는 Vygotsky의 '도움주기'라는 활동으로 시작해 이를 기초로 여러 학자들에 의해 확장되어 '비계설정'이라는 개념으로 발전하였으며, 이때 비계설정은 교사나 부모, 좀 더 유능한 또래가 안내나 도움을 제공해 학습에 도움을 주어 인지발달을 돕는 발판의 역할을 하도록 하는 체계를 의미한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 교사와 학생 간의 상호작용 중 도움을 적절히 조절하며 제공하는 근접발달영역 이론과 비계설정 이론을 근거로 효율적인 수업 실행에 적합한 비계 설정 유형을 마련하고, 이를 반영한 교수 학습 과정 및 지도안을 구안하고자 하였다. 이를 바탕으로 수업을 진행한 후 면담을 통해 기존 수업과의 차이를 탐색하여 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 전남 Y군에 소재한 H고등학교 1학년 남학생 5명을 대상으로 3차시의 수업을 실시하고, 3차시 수업 후에 반 구조화된 면담을 개인별로 실시하였다.

전국 보건소 물리치료실 운영 실태와 활성화 방안 (Improving Physical Therapy Services of Health Centers in Korea)

  • The purpose of this study are ( i ) to examine operating situation of physical therapy department and job satisfaction of physical therapists in health centers, (ii) to analyze utilization patterns and patient satisfaction of physical therapy services among health center visitors, and finally, (iii) to suggest policy implications in facilitating improvement on physical therapy services of health centers. The materials are collected from 105 physical therapists among nationwide health centers and 203 patients of 5 health centers in Pusan, Korea. The survey is conducted from February 13 to March 30, 1996 with a structured self - administered questionnaire. Major results of the study are as follows. First, the result of regression analysis between job satisfaction and affecting factors identify following variables as the significant determinants; self-development(+), job itself(+), and co-worker support (+). Second, the current operating situation of physical therapy department shows such problem as; i )shortage and unstable job security of physical therapists, ii )absence of rehabilitation specialist, iii )lack of understanding on physical therapy of co-workers, iv)shortage of physical therapy equipment and facility, v)burdensome task of physical therapists, and vi) inappropriate purchase process of equipment. Third, patient satisfaction for physical therapy services are revealed relatively high. And the result of regression analysis between patient satisfaction and affecting factors identify following variables as the significant determinants; credibility of physical therapist(+), satisfaction for waiting time(+), cleanliness(+). Fourth, the patients appeal about physical therapy services such problem as; i) shortage of physical therapists, physical therapy equipment, and facility, ii) inconvenient administrative procedure for utilization physical therapy services. Fifth and last, recommendations for the improvement of physical therapy services of health centers are as follows; i )recruiting more physical therapists, ii )regular employment of physical therapists instead of daily use employment, iii )re-arrangement of facility for patient's convenience, iv )establishing reasonable purchasing system of equipment for physical therapy, v) reforming administrative procedure for patient focused care.

자율 주행 용접 로봇을 위한 시각 센서 개발과 환경 모델링 (Visual Sensor Design and Environment Modeling for Autonomous Mobile Welding Robots)

  • Automation of welding process in shipyards is ultimately necessary, since the welding site is spatially enclosed by floors and girders, and therefore welding operators are exposed to hostile working conditions. To solve this problem, a welding mobile robot that can navigate autonomously within the enclosure has been developed. To achieve the welding task in the closed space, the robotic welding system needs a sensor system for the working environment recognition and the weld seam tracking, and a specially designed environment recognition strategy. In this paper, a three-dimensional laser vision system is developed based on the optical triangulation technology in order to provide robots with 3D work environmental map. Using this sensor system, a spatial filter based on neural network technology is designed for extracting the center of laser stripe, and evaluated in various situations. An environment modeling algorithm structure is proposed and tested, which is composed of the laser scanning module for 3D voxel modeling and the plane reconstruction module for mobile robot localization. Finally, an environmental recognition strategy for welding mobile robot is developed in order to recognize the work environments efficiently. The design of the sensor system, the algorithm for sensing the partially structured environment with plane segments, and the recognition strategy and tactics for sensing the work environment are described and discussed with a series of experiments in detail.

초등학교 소프트웨어교육에서 학습자의 알고리즘 구성 패턴 연구 (A Study on Algorithm Composition Patterns of Learners in Elementary Software Education)

  • 초등학교 6학년 학생을 대상으로 소프트웨어교육이 실시되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 초등학생의 알고리즘 구성 패턴에 대해 탐색하였다. 초등학교 6학년 학생을 대상으로 알고리즘을 구상하는 문항을 투입한 후 구조적 프로그래밍 기법에 기반한 MacCabe의 사이클로매틱 복잡도를 산출하여 학습자의 알고리즘 구성 패턴을 탐색하였다. 학생들은 문제 해결을 위해 주로 1~2가지의 선택구조를 사용하며, 이는 문제의 출발점, 도착점에 편중되는 경향이 있다. 또한 선택 구조 사용에 있어 소극적인 모습을 보인다. 알고리즘 구성에 있어서는 눈에 보이는 구체물과 자신의 배경지식에 의존하는 모습을 보인다. 따라서 초등학교 소프트웨어교육에서는 알고리즘 구성 패턴에 따라 학생들의 경험과 친숙한 문제 상황에서 알고리즘 구조를 복합적으로 사고할 수 있는 과제를 제시할 필요가 있으며, 구체적 조작물을 활용하여 지도하는 것이 유효할 것으로 보인다.

Evaluation of a Specially Designed Tobacco Control Program to Reduce Tobacco Use among School Children in Kerala

  • Background: Smoking and smokeless tobacco use are almost always initiated and established during adolescence. More than 80% of adult smokers begin smoking before 18 years of age. The main objective of the present study is to assess the feasibility of preventing adolescent tobacco use with the help of a specially designed tobacco control program. Materials and Methods: A cross sectional survey on tobacco use and related health effects was conducted using a structured questionnaire in 13 randomly selected schools in Kannur district of Kerala. These students were followed for a period of one academic year with multiple spaced interventions such as anti-tobacco awareness classes, formation of anti-tobacco task forces, inter-school competitions, supplying IEC (information, education and communication) materials and providing a handbook on tobacco control for school personnel. Final evaluation was at the end of one year. Results: There were 4,144 school children who participated in the first phase of the study. The prevalence of tobacco smoking and chewing habits were 9.85% and 2.24% respectively. Ninety-one percent had parental advice against tobacco use and only 3.79% expressed desire for future tobacco use. The final evaluation witnessed a sharp decline in the current tobacco use as 4.68%. We observed a statistically significant difference towards the future use of tobacco (p<0.001) and awareness about the ill effects of passive smoking (p<0.001) among boys and girls. Further a significantly increased knowledge was observed among boys compared to girls about tobacco and oral cancer (p=0.046). Conclusions: The comprehensive school based tobacco control project significantly reduced the tobacco use pattern in the target population. School tobacco projects incorporating frequent follow ups and multiple interventions appear more effective than projects with single intervention.

상위 집단 학생들의 함수의 연속 개념 이해 (High Achieving Students' Understanding of Continuity of Function)

  • Tall & Vinner(1981)의 연구는 개념 학습에 관한 중요한 패러다임을 제공함으로 써, 다양한 내용 영역과 학교급에 대하여 반복적으로 수행되어 왔다. 이 연구에서는 상위 집단 학생들의 함수의 연속에 대한 이해라는 관점에서 Tall & Vinner(1981)의 연구를 반복 수행하였으며, 그 결과를 분석함으로써 우리나라 상위 집단 학생들의 고유한 특성을 도출하고자 하였다. 우리나라의 상위 집단 학생들은 함수의 연속을 용어의 구어적 의미나 시각적인 심상에 의존하여 이해하기보다는 개념정의와 직접 관련지어 파악하는 경향이 있었다. 학생들이 보여준 개념이미지는 5가지 유형으로 분류되었으며, 이를 통하여 이후의 학습에서 상위 집단 학생들이 부딪힐만한 인지적 갈등 상황이 어떤 것인지 간접적으로 파악할 수 있었다.

물리치료사의 역할관련 직무스트레스와 조직효과성 (Role-Related Job Stress of Physical Therapists and Organizational Effectiveness)

  • The main objective of this study is to evaluate role-related job stressors of physical therapists and to examine the relationship between job stress and organizational effectiveness. A survey was conducted through structured questionnaire for the physical therapists working in Busan area, and data from 175 therapists were utilized in the final analysis. Survey items included general characteristics of the therapists(sex, age, education, marital status, religion, income, etc.), various kinds of job stressors(role conflict, role overload, role ambiguity, physical burden), and organizational effectiveness measured in terms of job satisfaction, organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior. Major results are as follows: 1) The level of physical therapists' job stress was found to be in average range, recording 2.65 on 4-point scale. 2) It appeared that main job stressors of physical therapists were role ambiguity and role overload, and this was more apparent in the case of younger, relatively less-educated, unmarried, and lower-grade employees. 3) On the other hand, in the case of relatively more-educated and higher-paid employees, role conflict was comparatively more important job stressor. 4) Regression analysis suggested that, as Job stress increased, job satisfaction and organizational commitment decreased; however, no significant relationship was found between job stress and organizational citizenship behavior. 5) These results imply that, in order to perform effective and efficient personnel administration of physical therapists, adequate job stress management would be very important task for the hospital managers.

신입간호사의 정서지능, 자아탄력성, 핵심자기평가가 간호업무수행에 미치는 영향 (The Influences between New Nurses' Nursing Performance, Emotional Intelligence, Self-resiliency and Core Self-evaluation)

  • 본 연구는 신입간호사의 정서지능, 자아탄력성, 핵심자기평가가 간호업무수행에 미치는 영향을 파악하는 서술적 조사연구이다. 대상자는 경기도에 소재한 800병상 이상의 종합병원 2곳에서 근무하는 12개월 미만의 신입간호사 114명이었다. 자료 수집은 2013년 7월부터 11월까지 간호업무수행, 정서지능, 자아탄력성, 핵심자기평가에 대해 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 측정하였다. 연구의 결과, 신입간호사의 교육 정도, 직무만족도, 근무부서 업무만족도에 따라 간호업무수행 정도의 차이가 있었으며, 정서지능, 자아탄력성, 핵심자기평가가 높을수록 간호업무수행 정도는 높았다. 정서지능, 교육수준, 핵심자기평가와 직무만족도는 간호업무수행 정도를 잘 예측하는 변수로 확인되었고, 간호업무수행 정도를 33% 설명하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 신입간호사의 교육 정도와 직무만족도를 고려하여 신입간호사 오리엔테이션부터 간호업무수행 외에 정서지능과 핵심자기평가를 포함한 실제적인 실무적응 훈련교육이 필요하다.
