차별적인 교육품질이 학생만족과 학생 충성도에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Difference Education Quality on Student Satisfaction and Student Loyalty)

  • Purpose: The paper presents research that examine relationship difference education quality, satisfaction, loyalty in university education sector. Specifically, the effects of difference education quality on student satisfaction and loyalty in the context of education quality are examined. Methods: A model of difference education quality effect on student satisfaction and loyalty is introduced and tested in the university using student perceptions of provider. Questionnaire was developed, and data was collected and analyzed for this study with SEM(Structural Equation Modeling). Results: The results are as follows: Education capability, BNIE(Business Newspaper In Education) are significantly influenced on student satisfaction. In addition, student satisfaction is significantly influence on external customer satisfaction, professor image. Professor image is significantly influence on student loyalty. Conclusion: Upon learning of student need and want, professor can focus on development of difference education quality based on student need and want.

Unveiling the Effects of ICT Adoption in the Apparel Sector of Bangladesh Based on Technology-Organization-Environment Framework

  • The study is based on the technology-organization-environment (TOE) model which, attempted to determine the factors that are going to influence ICT adoption. The proposed research model evaluates the interplay among technological context (IT infrastructure, system security, and user capacity), organizational context (top management commitment, and innovations strategies), environmental context (quick response to the external agencies, interactive network infrastructure, and competitive pressure) and ICT adoption (productivity growth, organizational change, and competitiveness). Data were collected from 243 senior executives of full member firms of the Bangladesh Garments and Manufacturers Association (BGMEA) of examining the relationships among the constructs in the proposed framework utilizing structural equation modeling (SEM). The analysis of TOE factors revealed that environmental, organizational, and technological factors have a significant impact on the successful implementation of ICT tools. The study also discusses implications for management practitioners.

The Effect of Intrinsic Motivation on Individuals' Performance and the Mediating Role of Job Stress in the Republic of Korea Army

  • This study examines the relationship between intrinsic motivation and individuals' performance in the Republic of Korea armed forces and explores whether job stress mediates the relationship between intrinsic motivation and individuals' performance. The research questions are: (1) Does intrinsic motivation influence individual performance in military organizations? (2) Does job stress impact individual performance? and (3) Does job stress mediate the relationship between intrinsic motivation and individual performance? The study utilizes data collected from a 350 soldiers survey in the Special Forces Brigade and Special Assault Commando Regiment of the Republic of Korea's Army. We use structural equation modeling (SEM) to explore the mediation role among intrinsic motivation, job stress, and individuals' performance. Research findings suggest that intrinsic motivation negatively impacts job stress. We also find that job stress has a positive effect on firearm skills. Moreover, the study reveals that the relationship between intrinsic motivation and firearm skills is partially mediated by job stress.

신품종 기술수용의 구조관계 분석 -사료작물 신품종 도입의향 - (Structural Equation Modeling on Technology Acceptance for New Variety - Case of Forage Crop -)

  • This study aims to identify factors affecting the acceptance intention of cultivating a new Italian ryegrass(IRG) variety using partial least square structural equation modeling(PLS-SEM) and find priority to maximize the acceptance intention of new IRG variety using importance-performance matrix analysis(IPMA). The data were collected on a seven-point Likert-type from 188 farm households located in Korea central region for two months. As a major result of PLS-SEM, expected effect significantly affected acceptance intention. The IPMA also showed expected effect should be considered as the most important factor to improve the acceptance intention. This study suggested the new technology distributors should scientifically prove and actively promote the effects such as increase in farm income, productivity improvement, labor saving and management efficiency caused by planting new IRG variety.

A Correlational Study of Readers' Perception of Written Materials (Professional reading Materials) using Structural Equation Modeling

  • The research is a correlational study to look for causes and factors relating to the design of written documents (professional reading materials) and identify those relationships that are useful for communication designers. The research specifically targeted the relationships between perception and reader's past experiences and appearance of the written documents. A preliminary survey, such as interviews, discussions, questionnaires and brainstorming sessions are conducted to establish the observable attributes related to perception which are reader's interests, importance of information and written documents complexity. Finally, the research used Structural Equation Model (SEM) to identify significant differences and analyze strong and weak correlations between these attributes. In general, the results of the study shows that the attribute appearances of a written documents with excellent visualizations for information display shows a strong correlation with interests while the attributes importance is weakly correlated with the complexity of the documents.

  • 국내 회전교차로의 역사가 짧기 때문에 회전교차로에 대한 운전자들의 인지도(통행 규칙, 정의, 위치 등)가 낮을 가능성이 존재하며, 이는 통행규칙 준수에 영향을 미칠 가능성이 있다. 이러한 가정을 기반으로 본 연구는 구조방정식모형을 적용하여 회전교차로에 대한 인지도와 회전교차로 통행 규칙 준수 간의 관계를 분석하고자 하였다. 연구를 위해 경기도 고양시에 거주하는 운전자 526명을 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 시행하였으며, 설문항목은 회전교차로 인지도, 운전 경력, 회전교차로 통행 규칙 준수 여부에 대한 내용이 포함되었다. 설문조사 내용은 구조방정식모형을 적용하여 분석하였으며, 분석 결과 회전교차로에 대한 인지도가 높을수록, 운전 경력이 높을수록 통행 규칙을 잘 준수하는 것으로 나타났다. 연구 결과를 기반으로 회전교차로 도입으로 인해 발생할 수 있는 초기 부정적인 영향을 감소시키기 위한 이용자 교육 및 홍보방안을 제시하였다.

게임 NPC 디자인 요소가 플레이어 만족도에 미치는 영향 연구 (Research on the Influence of Game NPC Design Elements on Player Satisfaction)

  • 본 연구는 플레이어의 게임 NPC (Non Plyer Character)에 대한 만족도를 높이기 위해 구조방정식 모델 SEM(Structural Equation Modeling)을 만들고 NPC 디자인 요소를 분석한다. 먼저 플레이어의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 디자인 요소(오락성, 예술성, 상호작용성, 현장성)를 추출한다. 그리고 이러한 요소들이 플레이어들의 만족도에 영향을 준다고 가정하고 계량화된 연구 발상을 통해서 실증연구를 진행한다. 설문에 대한 데이터를 분석한 결과 네 가지 요소가 플레이어 만족도에 유의미한 영향을 미치며 이 중 예술성은 플레이어 만족도에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 분석 결과에 따라 NPC 설계에 대한 제안을 제시하였다. 본 연구를 통해서 향후 NPC의 디자인 방향에 대한 참조 프레임워크를 제공할 수 있기를 기대한다.

구조방정식을 이용한 도시부 4지 신호교차로의 사고원인 분석 (A Causational Study for Urban 4-legged Signalized Intersections using Structural Equation Method)

  • PURPOSES : Traffic accidents at intersections have been increased annually so that it is required to examine the causations to reduce the accidents. However, the current existing accident models were developed mainly with non-linear regression models such as Poisson methods. These non-linear regression methods lack to reveal complicated causations for traffic accidents, though they are right choices to study randomness and non-linearity of accidents. Therefore, to reveal the complicated causations of traffic accidents, this study used structural equation methods(SEM). METHODS : SEM used in this study is a statistical technique for estimating causal relations using a combination of statistical data and qualitative causal assumptions. SEM allow exploratory modeling, meaning they are suited to theory development. The method is tested against the obtained measurement data to determine how well the model fits the data. Among the strengths of SEM is the ability to construct latent variables: variables which are not measured directly, but are estimated in the model from several measured variables. This allows the modeler to explicitly capture the unreliability of measurement in the model, which allows the structural relations between latent variables to be accurately estimated. RESULTS : The study results showed that causal factors could be grouped into 3. Factor 1 includes traffic variables, and Factor 2 contains turning traffic variables. Factor 3 consists of other road element variables such as speed limits or signal cycles. CONCLUSIONS : Non-linear regression models can be used to develop accident predictions models. However, they lack to estimate causal factors, because they select only few significant variables to raise the accuracy of the model performance. Compared to the regressions, SEM has merits to estimate causal factors affecting accidents, because it allows the structural relations between latent variables. Therefore, this study used SEM to estimate causal factors affecting accident at urban signalized intersections.

개인의 혁신성과 사회적 영향 관점에서 특수교사들의 스마트미디어 수용에 관한 연구 (The study of smart-media acceptance model for teachers in special education based on personal innovativeness and social influence)

  • 본 연구는 특수교사들의 스마트미디어 수용에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 개인의 혁신성과 사회적 영향 두 가지 관점에서 설명하고자 구조방정식 모형을 통해 분석을 수행하였다. 요인들 간의 상관관계를 분석한 결과 개인의 혁신성, 사회적 영향, 성과에 대한 기대, 행위의도와의 상관관계가 있었으며 설정된 요인들 간의 경로분석을 통한 가설 검정 결과, 사회적 영향이 성과에 대한 기대에 영향을 미치는 직접효과 및 행위의도에 미치는 직접효과는 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 사회적 영향은 성과에 대한 기대를 매개요인으로 하여 행위의도에 영향을 미치는 간접효과도 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 개인의 혁신성은 성과에 대한 기대나 행위의도에 직접적이거나 간접적으로 미치는 영향이 유의하지 않는 것으로 나타났다.

강소농교육 참여 농업인의 직무성과와 학습지향성, 자기효능감, 학습전이의 구조적 관계 (Structural Relations of Learning Orientation, Self-Efficacy, Learning Transfer and Job Performance of Farmers who Participated in the Strong and Small Farms Education)

  • The purposes of this study are to explain and identify the frame of structural relations of learning orientation, self-efficacy, learning transfer and job performance of farmers who participated in the strong and small farms education. This is an experimental research with the data collected from 495 farmers who have taken the farm education. Based on the collected data, the study conducted a structural equation modeling(SEM) to confirm the validity and analyze the structural relations of the suggested model. Using measured and latent variables drew from the analyses, the study set a structural equation model and tested the model by analysis of the structural equation modeling with AMOS 18.0. The results found from the empirical analysis can be summarized as follows. 1) Learning orientation and self-efficacy positively influenced job performance through learning transfer. 2) The hypothesis that learning orientation would have direct impact on job performance was not supported. 3) The strong and small farms education is useful to expand learning transfer and to enhance job performance. So, government policy support has to reinforce learning support on farmers in order to achieve high performance of learning and job management through farm educations.
