일 간호대학 신입생의 MBTI 성격유형과 스트레스, 극복력, 학교적응 (The Relation between MBTI Personality Types and Stress, Resilience, School Adaptation of Nursing Students)

  • Objectives: This study was attempted to understand the relation between MBTI personality types and stress, resilience, school Adaptation of nursing students. Methods: The subjects were 177 freshmen of Nursing College who agreed on participating in this research. Data was collected from April, 2nd, 2012 to April, 5th. The data was analyzed by operating t-test and Pearson correlation coefficient with PASW 18.0. Results: It was appeared that ESFJ type was the highest MBTI type among the objects of this study, and ISTJ, ESFP were ranked to next to it. Among the four indexes of MBTI, it was appeared that E(Extroversion), S(Sensing), F(Feeling), and J(Judging) were higher. According to personality types, it showed that I type students perceived stress higher than E type, and E type students adapted themselves to school lives better than I type, and the degree of resilience was higher. Also, the higher the degree of stress they had, the lower school Adaptation and the degree of resilience they got. While, as the school Adaptation got higher, the degree of resilience grew higher. Conclusions: It is needed to help the freshmen of Nursing College to adapt to school efficiently, by testing their MBTI personality types, and then to help I type students to overcome their stress and adapt to school better. Also, it is considered to develop and operate the programs which can improve the resilience, since the results of this study have indicated that the students showing the higher scores of resilience were acclimating to school well.

대학 골프선수들의 완벽주의성향, 스트레스, 그리고 탈진 간의 관계에 대한 융합적 연구 (A Convergence Study on the Relationship between Perfectionism, Stress, and Burnout among College Golf Athletes)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 대학 골프선수들의 완벽주의성향, 스트레스, 그리고 탈진 간의 관계를 검증하는데 있다. 연구의 참여자는 대학교에 재학 중인 221명의 학생들이다. 연구의 결과에서 자기지향적 완벽주의성향과 사회부과적 완벽주의성향은 스트레스를 높이는 선행변수임이 밝혀졌다. 자기지향적 완벽주의성향은 개인의 성취도를 낮추었으며, 사회부과적 완벽주의성향은 탈진의 정도를 높이는 것으로 나타났다. 선수들의 스트레스는 감정적 소진과 낮은 개인적 성취도에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 간접 효과에서 자기지향과 사회부과적 완벽주의성향은 스트레스를 높이고 감정적 소진과 낮은 개인적 성취도에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 선수들이 승리에 대한 압박감에서 벗어나 즐기면서 지속적으로 운동을 할 수 있는 문화를 구축하는데 도움이 되고자 한다.

간호사가 인지하는 조직문화 유형과 언어폭력, 직무스트레스 (Nurses' Perceived Organizational Culture, Verbal Abuse and Job Stress)

  • 본 연구는 건강관리조직에서 간호서비스의 생산성과 효율성을 높이고자 간호조직문화의 중요성이 강조되고 있는 현실에서 간호사를 대상으로 그들이 인지하는 조직문화유형과 언어폭력, 직무스트레스와의 관련성에 대해 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서울시, 경기도, 충청도에 소재하는 4개 종합병원에서 근무하고 있는 간호사를 대상으로 설문지를 배포하였고 총 235부를 분석하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 22.0으로 분석하였다. 연구 결과 병원별로 조직문화유형 간에 차이를 보였으며 이중 관계지향문화는 의사에 의한 언어폭력, 간호사에 의한 언어폭력과 정적상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 혁신지향문화는 의사에 의한 언어폭력과 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 직무스트레스는 조직문화 유형 중 위계지향적 조직문화를 제외하고 모두 유의한 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 직무스트레스에 영향을 미치는 주요변인은 관계지향적 조직문화, 간호사에 의한 언어폭력으로 나타났으며 이 변수들은 간호사들의 직무스트레스에 대해 14.9%의 설명력을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 간호사들이 소속된 병원 또는 조직별 문화에 대한 다차원적인 연구와 문화유형 별 직무스트레스를 줄여주기 위한 프로그램 개발이 필요하다.

다문화가정 시어머니의 사회인구학적 특성, 문화적응 스트레스 그리고 탄력성이 우울에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Socio-demographic Factors, Acculturation Stress and Resilience on Depression among Mothers-in-law in Multicultural Families)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate factors influencing depression among mothers-in-law in multicultural families. Methods: For this study, 159 participants from multicultural families were recruited through administrative units of the B. & U. Metropolitan City and G. Province. Data related to acculturation stress, resilience, and depression were collected from April to August 2014 and analyzed through t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and regression analysis with the SPSS/WIN 22.0 for Windows program. Results: The participants had a moderate level of acculturation stress ($2.43{\pm}0.75$: range 1~5) and resilience ($4.74{\pm}1.14$: range 1~7). About 58% of the participants had depression. The results of stepwise multiple regression analysis indicated that mothers-in-law's depression was affected by resilience (${\beta}=-1.17$, p<.001), acculturation stress (${\beta}=0.85$, p=.026), perceived economic level (${\beta}=-0.83$, p=.016), difficulty in physical activity (${\beta}=-0.62$, p=.027), relationship satisfaction (${\beta}=-0.51$, p=.035), and education level (${\beta}=-0.48$, p=.033). The explanatory power of these factors was 35%. Conclusion: The findings indicated the need to lower the level of depression by enhancing resilience and reducing acculturation stress among mothers-in-law in multicultural families. Future research to reduce depression among mothers-in-law in multicultural families should consider how to enhance resilience and reduce acculturation stress.

대구지역 치과기공사의 직무스트레스와 신체증상에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors affecting job stress and physical symptoms of dental technicians in Daegu Metropolitan City)

  • Purpose: This study aims to investigate the general characteristics of dental technicians and their health behaviors and to analyze the related factors of their work stress and physical symptoms. Methods: The survey used structured self administered questionnaires for a survey targeting 741 members registered of the Dental Technician Association in Daegu Metropolitan City from September to October, 2009. Total of 518 replies and analyzed 490 questionnaire excluding 28 incomplete questionnaires. Results: The work stresses were higher in those who answered that they were under 30-years old, unmarried, lower in rank, or had longer work hours, lower monthly incomes or poor self-perceived health status. In addition, those who worked in a dental laboratory with poor work environment including insufficient ventilation, sand blaster with no powder collecting functions, etc., tended to experience higher work stress than others due to their work conditions. The total average of the respondents of the survey who answered that they suffered from some physical symptoms was 14.7 points. It was found that the factors affecting the score of physical symptoms include occupational features such as work hours, monthly income, etc., and physical work environment such as the presence or absence of ventilator, of dust-collectors within sand blaster, etc., and work stress, exerted significant influence. Conclusion: The outcomes of this study indicates that to lessen work stress and to ultimately alleviate physical symptoms, it is necessary to do the following: improve work environment of young unmarried women; adjust their daily working hours; ameliorate physical work environment. To improve overall physical symptoms, it is importance to establish a safe and healthy working environment.

골프경기보조원의 업무환경요인이 직무스트레스에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Work Environmental Factors on Job Stress in the Golf Caddies)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between perceived job stress and work environmental factors related with socioeconomics factors and physical burden in the golf caddies. Methods: Job stress in golf caddies was estimated by using the Karasek's job content questionnaire (JCQ) and work environmental factors were estimated by self-reported questionnaire and interview. Results: The subjects were 316 woman caddies who had never been occupationally exposed to hazardous chemicals, was mean age 31.1 years. Mean work duration was 6.44 years and working hours per day on low- and high-demand season were 6.16 and 10.51, respectively. The golf caddies displayed higher scores of job stress due to multiple factors such as working hours and frequency of rounding per week, physical burden, confliction, income satisfaction and employment stability. We found that high strain group was positive correlation with age, career, working hour (including frequency of rounding) and job demand, however, showed negative correlation with job decision latitude and support of supervisor and coworker. Conclusion: In conclusion, we suggest that the golf caddies be regard divided into high strain group as appropriate. Thus, stress management and health promotion program for golf caddies should be developed.

한국여성의 자아존중감과 비만스트레스와의 융복합적 관계에 관한 연구 (Convergence Relationship between Self-Esteem and Obesity Stress among Women in Korea)

  • 본 연구는 20대 여성의 외모만족도, 외모지향성, 외모평가 및 자아존중감을 파악하고 각 요인들이 비만스트레스에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 시행되었다. 분석결과 20대 여성은 실제 BMI(Body Mass Index)보다 주관적 체형을 더 크게 인식하고 있었다. 대상자의 제 변수간의 상관관계를 살펴본 결과, 외모지향성(r=.386, p=<.001), 자아존중감(r=.324, p=<.001)으로 정적상관성을, 외모평가(r=-453, p=<.001), 외모만족도(r=-.560, p=<.001)는 부적상관성을 보였다. 위계적 회귀방법으로 비만스트레스에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석한 결과, 1단계 모형에서 외모만족도 31.3%, 2단계 모형에서 외모지향성, 외모평가, 외모만족도가 45.3%, 3단계 모형에서 주관적 체형, BMI 및 제 변수가 54.7%를 설명하였다. 분석결과를 토대로 20대 여성에게 실제 정상BMI를 가진 체형이 가장 이상적인 체형임을 인식하는 교육과 삶의 지표를 외형보다 내면에 둘 수 있도록 다양한 프로그램을 마련하는 것이 20대 여성의 비만스트레스를 다소나마 줄여 줄 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

미디어 노출에 의한 간접외상이 외상 후 스트레스 증상에 미치는 영향 : 온라인 설문 조사 연구 (Impact of Indirect Trauma via Media on Post-Traumatic Stress Symptoms : Online Survey Study)

  • Objective : Several earlier studies have reported similar symptoms in patients with posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) who have been repeatedly exposed to relevant media after disasters and trauma. This study aimed to examine the effects of indirect trauma experience through media rather than direct traumatic events on an individual's social life. Methods : Five hundred and fifty-four individuals participated in our online, self-reported questionnaire survey. All subjects were asked to complete a demographic questionnaire, Posttraumatic Diagnostic Scale, Beck Depression Inventory, the Impact of Event Scale-Revised, State-Trait Anxiety Inventory, Korean version of Alcohol Use Disorder Identification Test, Patient Health Questionnaire-15, Suicidal Behaviors Questionnaire-Revised. Participants were assessed in regards to their experience of violent media exposure within the past three months. Results : Data from our study indicates that the group exposed to violent media had significantly higher perceived stress, physical symptoms, insomnia, and suicide ideation in comparison to the control group. Among the major symptoms of PTSD, the proportion of intrusion symptoms was relatively high in the media exposed group. Conclusion : This suggests that indirect trauma caused by media exposure could cause post-traumatic stress symptoms. The PTSD caused by indirect trauma may have slight differences from the PTSD caused by direct trauma. Therefore, it is necessary to understand, prevent, and control the adverse effects of media.

고등학생의 스트레스와 행복감 간의 관계에서 주관적 웰빙과 감사성향의 이중 매개효과 (Double Mediating Effect of Subjective Well-being and Gratitude Disposition on Relationship between Stress and Feeling of Happiness among High School Students)

  • 본 연구에서는 고등학생의 스트레스와 행복감 간의 관계를 확인하고, 그 관계를 주관적 웰빙과 감사성향이 이중으로 매개하는지를 검증하고자 하였다. 연구 참여자는 남녀 고등학생 245명이었다. 이 연구를 위해서 지각된 스트레스 척도, 삶의 만족 검사, 정서빈도검사, 감사성향 척도 및 주관적 행복 척도를 사용하였다. 직렬적 이중 매개효과는 PROCESS Macro 3.5 모형 6으로 검증하였다. 연구 결과, 고등학생의 스트레스는 주관적 웰빙, 감사성향 및 행복감과 유의한 부적 상관이 있었다. 고등학생의 주관적 웰빙은 감사성향이나 행복감과 정적 상관이 있었으며, 감사성향도 행복감과 정적 상관이 있었다. 본 연구에서는 고등학생의 스트레스와 행복감 간의 관계를 주관적 웰빙과 감사성향이 직렬로 이중매개 하는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 청소년들의 행복에 주관적 웰빙과 감사성향이 중요한 역할을 한다는 것이 발견되었기 때문에, 그들의 주관적 웰빙 수준과 감사성향을 증진시킬 필요가 있다.

코로나19 팬데믹 초기 서울지역 영양(교)사의 직무스트레스가 자기효능감, 직무만족 및 직무몰입에 미치는 영향 (Job Stress among School Nutrition Teachers and Dietitians in Seoul during the Early Stage of the COVID-19 Pandemic: Effects on Self-Efficacy, Job Satisfaction, and Job Involvement)

  • This study was undertaken to assess levels of job stress, self-efficacy, job satisfaction, and job involvement as perceived by school dietitians/nutrition teachers during the early stage of the COVID-19 pandemic and to determine the effects of these three factors. An online survey was sent from May 18 to May 26, 2021, to school dietitians/nutrition teachers in Seoul with experience of foodservice operations during 2020; 250 responses were used for this analysis. Job demands contributed most to job stress, whereas human relations contributed most to job satisfaction. Job stress caused by COVID-19 had a negative impact on self-efficacy (P<0.01) and job satisfaction (P<0.01), but a positive impact on job involvement (P<0.05). Self-efficacy positively impacted job involvement (P<0.01) but did not significantly influence job satisfaction. However, job satisfaction during early COVID-19 positively impacted job involvement (P<0.05). In conclusion, job stress associated with job requirements was greater during the early stage of the COVID-19 pandemic than before the pandemic guidelines are needed that enable school dietitians/nutrition teachers to better cope with the job pressures generated by infectious diseases.
