한반도 발생 지진의 지진원 상수 (Source parameters of earthquakes occurred in the Korean Peninsula)

  • Source parameters for forty nine recent earthquakes occurred in and around Korean Peninsula are determined and the relations among them are studied. The corner frequency and seismic moment are estimated from three different methods. The spectral fitting of the source displacement spectrum with the $\omega$-square source model of Brune(1970) and Snoke(1987)'s method are applied to all events and empirical Green's function method for two events are adopted. The source parameters determined in this study show different values depending on the adopted method and on the stations of which seismograms are recorded. It is interpreted that the disagreements principally originate from insufficient consideration of source radiation pattern and attenuation and amplification according to path direction. The corner frequencies and seismic moments are averaged to exclude the directional effects and other source parameters are estimated from the mean corner frequency and seismic moment. The static stress drops estimated in this study tend to be independent of seismic moment or magnitude for events above a certain size. For earthquakes with the size less than about 3.0$\times$10$^{21}$dyne-cm(nearly same as M$_{L}$=3.7), the stress drop tends to decrease with the decreasing moment. This fact suggests a breakdown of scaling law of source parameters below the threshold magnitude. The moment magnitudes calculated from source parameters appear to be slightly larger than the Richter's local magnitudes in the range above M$_{L}$=3.5.3.5.

Flavonoids. a group of polypenolic compounds, are widespread in the human food supply. This study was carried out to investigate the antioxidant activity of these compounds. myriceitn and (+)-catechin on B 16Fl0. murine melanoma cell line in oxidative stress. 아토피 피부염 환자의 생활사건 스트레스와 대처방식 (Life Event Stress and Coping Strategy in Patient with Atopic Dermatitis)

  • 연구목적 : 본 연구에서는 사회적, 심리적 관점에서 아토피 피부염에서 보이는 스트레스의 양을 측정 하고 스트레스에 대한 대처 방식의 특정을 알아보고자 하였다. 방법 : 1997년 9월부터 1998년 5월까지 중앙대학교 의과대학 부속병원 피부과에 내원한 20세 이상의 아토피 피부염 환자를 분석 대상으로 생활사건 척도(Scale of Life Event)와 다차원적척도(Multimensional Coping Scale)를 이용하여 스트레스 정도와 대처방식의 차이를 알아보고자 하였다. 결과 : 생활 사건에 대한 스트레스의 양은 아토피 피부염 환자군이 $386.52{\pm}257.93$이었고, 대조군은 $255.98{\pm}161.93$으로 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였고 대처 방식에 있어서는 아토피 피부염 환자군에서 적극적 망각 척도, 정서적 진정 척도, 긍정적 비교 척도에서 각각 $7.30{\pm}3.56$(t=2.55. df=53, p=0.013), $8.0{\pm}2.05$(t=2.42. df=58, p=0.019), $6.00{\pm}4.97$(t=2.48, df=58, p=0.16)으로 대조군에 비해 통계적으로 유의하게 높았다. 결론 : 스트레스는 아토피 피부염의 발생 및 악화에 영향을 미칠 것으로 추정되며, 적극적 망각과 같은 정서중심적, 비효과적 대처방식을 문제 중심적 대처로 변환시키고 자신보다 못한 상태에 있는 타인을 비교함 자신의 상태를 유지하려하는 인지적 측면과 스트레스 상황에서 발생한 정서적 혼란을 가라앉히려는 정서적 측면에 대해 지지적 치료가 이루어지면 아토피 피부염을 비롯한 정신 신체 질환의 치료에 도움이 될 것으로 생각된다.

난류 채널 유동 내부의 레이놀즈 전단 응력 분포 (Reynolds Shear Stress Distribution in Turbulent Channel Flows)

  • 벽면 난류의 항력과 밀접한 관련이 있는 유동구조를 조사하기 위해 $Re_{\tau}$ = 180, 395, 590 의 난류채널유동에 대한 직접수치모사를 수행하였다. 확률밀도함수를 조사하여 레이놀즈 전단응력에 가장 큰 기여를 하는 Q2 이벤트를 파악하였으며 Q2 이벤트의 각도의 변화가 $y^+<50$ 에서는 벽 단위로 스케일링되며, y/h > 0.5 에서는 채널의 높이로 스케일링 됨을 확인하였다. Q2 이벤트를 조건으로 하는 조건부 평균 유동장을 조사하여 레이놀즈 전단응력의 발생과 관련이 있는 유동구조는 주 유동방향의 보텍스 및 헤어핀 형상의 보텍스임을 보였다. 또한, 순간 유동장을 관찰하여 높은 레이놀즈 전단 응력의 분포가 이러한 보텍스 구조와 관련이 있으며 1.5 ~ 3h 의 크기를 갖는 대형유동구조를 구성함을 확인하였다.

초등학생이 일상생활 중 경험하는 스트레스 측정 도구 개발 (The Development of a Stress Measurement Tool for School Children in Chon-buk Area)

  • The purpose of this study was to propose the baseline data for the development of a stress measurement tool for primary school students. The data were collected from 650 students from four primary schools in the Chon-buk area from April 1 to May 30, 1995. Through a pretest and literature review a questionaire was designed with 57 stressors experienced by school children in daily life. Reliability of the tool was tested by a Cronbach's alpha and the result was ${\alpha}=.9137$. Factor analysis was applied to organize the 57 items together. As the result, 8 factors were obtained and these factors explained 40% of the variance. The 8 factors were: 1) Life events related to family, 2) Conflict related to friend & senior or junior, 3) Educational attitude of parents, 4) Own personality, 5) School life events, 6) Scolding by teacher and parent, 7) Conflict with interpersonal relationship, and 8) Change of situation.

  • It is impossible to database(DB) the patterns of cable events and cause analysis of faulted cable because the product liability(PL) law have been enforced in Korea, since 2002. In additions, simulation and pattern of cable events are needed for DB system under accelerated deterioration. In this paper, we tested for resistance to nicking of cable below the 22.9kV class due to thermal stresses. This method of exam is following IEC 60811-3-1(Common test methods for insulating and sheathing materials of electric cables). First of all, set the cable in the thermal stress instrument, temperature changed from -20 degree to 120 degree. After thermal stress, we observed a surface crack of cable through microscope and carried out AC withstand voltage test.

Gender in Climate Change: Safeguarding LGBTQ+ Mental Health in the Philippine Climate Change Response From a Minority Stress Perspective

  • Climate-related events unevenly affect society, worsening mental health disparities among vulnerable populations. This paper highlights that lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgender, queers, and other individuals identifying as sexual and gender minorities (LGBTQ+) (LGBTQ+) could be considered a climate-vulnerable population in the Philippines, one of the most climate-vulnerable countries. As such, this paper elucidated that LGBTQ+ Filipinos can be marginalized in climate response efforts due to their sexual orientation and gender minority identities. According to the minority stress theory, discrimination against LGBTQ+ individuals may predispose them to mental health problems. Thus, there is a need to institute an LGBTQ+ inclusive mental health response for climate-related events to address discrimination against LGBTQ+ individuals and uphold their mental health.

가정주부와 취업주부의 생활사건스트레스와 정신건강에 관한 연구 (A Study the Relationship between Stressful Life Events and Mental Health of Non-Working Housewives and Working Housewives)

  • This study analyzed the relationship between stressful life events and state of mental health among middle class non working housewives and working housewives (104 pair) by age from June 5 to June 19, 1995 in seoul. The results of this study are as follows. 1. The degree of stressful life events was not statistically significant, but the degree working housewives group (Mean 1. 448) was higher than that of non-working housewives group (Mean 1.509). 2. The state of mental health showed statistically significant (p<. 01) the degree of non-working housewives group (Mean 7.36) was higher than that of working housewives (Mean 5.52). 3. The correlation between stressful life events and state of mental health showed natural in both non-Working housewives group (r=.497, p<.001) and working housewives (r=.532. p<.000), so increased stress is related to lower mental health. 4. The degree of stressful life events based on social psychological factor, showed statistically significant (p<.05) in the feeling of life, and the state of mental health was statistically significant in the part of feeling of life (p<.05) and subjective health state (p=.000)

중환자실 간호사의 외상성 사건 경험과 이직 의도의 관계에서 회복탄력성의 조절 효과 (The moderating effect of resilience in the relationship between traumatic event experience and turnover intention of nurses in intensive care units)

  • Purpose: The present study utilizes a descriptive research design to investigate the moderating effect of resilience on the relationship between the experience of traumatic events and turnover intention among intensive care unit (ICU) nurses. Methods: The participants were 161 hospital nurses who voluntarily agreed to participate in this study. Traumatic event experience, turnover intention, and resilience were assessed. The data were analyzed with hierarchical multiple regression using the SPSS 26.0 software program. Results: The experience of traumatic events had a statistically significant positive correlation with turnover intention (r=.17, p=.037), whereas it had a statistically significant negative correlation with turnover intention and resilience (r=-.37, p<.001). Resilience had a moderating effect on the relationship between the experience of traumatic events and turnover intention (𝛽=-.20, p=.007). Conclusion: The results of this study found that the experience of traumatic events among ICU nurses was a significant factor in turnover intention and that resilience moderated the strength of the relationship between such experiences and turnover intention. Therefore, to prevent ICU nurses' experience of a traumatic event from leading to their leaving nursing, it is necessary to formulate preventive measures and interventions for traumatic events, while enhancing resilience among ICU nurses.

보수용접에 따른 이종금속 용접부의 잔류응력 해석 (Residual Stress Analysis for Repair Welding in Dissimilar Metal Weld)

  • Alloy 600 and Alloy 82/182 materials have been used widely in PWR plants. But these materials are known to be susceptible to PWSCC(Primary Water Stress Corrosion Cracking). Recently, there have been several PWSCC events in major components due to repair welding, because repair welding in the dissimilar metal welds during the construction increases residual stress significantly on the inner surface of welds. In this paper, various residual stress analyses for repair welding were performed using FEM to check the effect of repair welding on residual stress distributions in PZR safety/relief nozzle. The results indicate that for inside surface repair welding, high tensile residual stress is developed on the inside surface of the nozzles.
