일방향 응고 니켈기 초내열 합금 CM247LC의 온도에 따른 크리프 특성 (Temperature Dependent Creep Properties of Directionally Solidified Ni-based Superlloy CM247LC)

  • 일방향응고로 제조된 니켈기 초내열합금 CM247LC의 다양한 온도 및 응력조건에서 크리프 특성에 대해 고찰하였다. 열처리 후 일부 공정조직이 남아 있었으며 비교적 균일한 육면체의 γ'이 수지상 내부와 수지상간 영역에서 관찰되었다. 상대적 저온인 750℃의 고응력 크리프 영역에서는 1차 크리프 동안 많은 변형이 발생하였으나 고온으로 갈수록 3차 크리프 구간이 크리프 변형시간의 대부분을 차지함을 알 수 있었다. 저온 고응력에서는 부분 전위가 γ'으로 진입하며 적층결함을 γ'내에 생성시켰으며 초기 크리프 변형속도가 증가하는 부분이 있었으나 850℃ 이상의 온도에서는 γ' 내부에서 적층결함이 관찰되지 않았으며 이는 적층결함에너지의 온도의존성 때문인 것으로 판단된다. 고온이어서 확산속도가 빠른 950℃와 1000℃에서는 γ'의 래프팅이 관찰되었다. 온도가 좀 더 낮은 850℃에서는 변형기구가 응력에 따라 다르게 나타나서 상대적으로 크리프 시간이 긴 저응력에서만 래프팅이 관찰되었다.

Influence of Mo Addition on High Temperature Deformation Behavior of L12 Type Ni3Al Intermetallics

  • The high temperature deformation behavior of $Ni_3Al$ and $Ni_3(Al,Mo)$ single crystals that were oriented near <112> was investigated at low strain rates in the temperature range above the flow stress peak temperature. Three types of behavior were found under the present experimental conditions. In the relatively high strain rate region, the strain rate dependence of the flow stress is small, and the deformation may be controlled by the dislocation glide mainly on the {001} slip plane in both crystals. At low strain rates, the octahedral glide is still active in $Ni_3Al$ above the peak temperature, but the active slip system in $Ni_3(Al,Mo)$ changes from octahedral glide to cube glide at the peak temperature. These results suggest that the deformation rate controlling mechanism of $Ni_3Al$ is viscous glide of dislocations by the <110>{111} slip, whereas that of $Ni_3(Al,Mo)$ is a recovery process of dislocation climb in the substructures formed by the <110>{001} slip. The results of TEM observation show that the characteristics of dislocation structures are uniform distribution in $Ni_3Al$ and subboundary formation in $Ni_3(Al,Mo)$. Activation energies for deformation in $Ni_3Al$ and $Ni_3(Al,Mo)$ were obtained in the low strain rate region. The values of the activation energy are 360 kJ/mol for $Ni_3Al$ and 300 kJ/mol for $Ni_3(Al,Mo)$.

Influence of Gas Transfer Velocity Parameterization on Air-Sea $CO_2$ Exchange in the East (Japan) Sea

  • Gas flux across the air-sea interface is often determined by the product of gas transfer velocity k) and the difference of concentrations in water and air. k is primarily controlled by wind stress on the air-sea interface, thus all parameterizations ofk involve wind speed, a rough indicator of wind stress, as one of the independent variables. We attempted to explore the spatial and temporal variations of k in the East (Japan) Sea using a database from Naet al. (1992). Three different parameterizations were employed: those of Liss and Merlivat (1986), Wanninkhof(1992), and Wanninkhofand McGillis (1999). The strong non-linear dependence of k on wind speed in all parameterizations leads us to examine the effect of time resolution, in which the binned wind speeds are averaged, on the estimation ofk. Two time resolutions of 12 hours (short-term) and one month (long-term) were chosen. The mean wind speeds were fed into the given parameterizations, resulting in six different transfer velocities of $CO_2$ ranging from 12 to 32 cm/h. In addition to the threefold difference depending on the choice of parameterization, the long-term average of wind speed results in a value ofk up to 20% higher than the short-term (12 hours) average of wind speed due to the non-Rayleigh wind distribution in the East (Japan) Sea. While it is not known which parameterization is more reliable, this study proposes that the time-averaged wind speed should not be used in areas where non-Ralyleigh wind distribution prevails such as the East (Japan) Sea. The net annual $CO_2$ flux was estimated using the value of k described above and the monthly ${\Delta}fCO_2$ of Oh et al. (1999); this ranges from 0.034 to 0.11 Gt-C/yr.

실리콘 기판의 광집적회로를 위한 Pyrex 무응력 도파박막 (Stress-Free Pyrex-Based Optical Waveguide for Planar Lightwave Circuits on Silicon Substrate)

  • 에어로졸 화염증착법을 개발하고 이 방법을 써 실리콘 기판 위에 Pyrex 무응력 도피박막으로 제작하였다. 파이렉스 도파 박막계의 굴절률은 조절하기 위하여 지르코늄을 첨가하였으며, 지르코늄 함량이 0wt%부터 3wt5까지 변하는 경우 굴절률이 1.460부터 1.475까지 변화하였다. 파이렉스 도파로의 평판도파로형 광증폭기에 응용 가능성을 보기 위하여 어븀을 첨가하여보았으며 어븀 함량이 0wt%부터 1wt% 까지 변하는 경우 박막의 굴절률이 1.460부터 1.465 까지 변화함을 확인하였다. 프리즘 커플러를 써서 제작된 도피피막에 과을 여기시킨 결과 광집적회로에 응용이 가능한 수준의 투과성이 우수한 박막임을 확인하였다. 파이렉스 도피피막의 편광 변화에 따른 박막굴절률의 변화는 2$\times$104이하로 측정되었다.

Annealing temperature dependence on the positive bias stability of IGZO thin-film transistors

  • The threshold voltage shift (${\Delta}V_{th}$) under positive-voltage bias stress (PBS) of InGaZnO (IGZO) thin-film transistors (TFTs) annealed at different temperatures in air was investigated. The dramatic degradation of the electrical performance was observed at the sample that was annealed at $700^{\circ}C$. The degradation of the saturation mobility (${\mu}_{sat}$) resulted from the diffusion of indium atoms into the interface of the IGZO/gate insulator after crystallization, and the degradation of the subthreshold slope (S-factor) was due to the increase in the interfacial and bulk trap density. In spite of the degradation of the electrical performance of the sample that was annealed at $700^{\circ}C$, it showed a smaller ${\Delta}V_{th}$ under PBS conditions for $10^4$ s than the samples that were annealed at $500^{\circ}C$, which is attributed to the nanocrystal-embedded structure. The sample that was annealed at $600^{\circ}C$ showed the best performance and the smallest ${\Delta}V_{th}$ among the fabricated samples with a ${\mu}_{sat}$ of $9.38cm^2/V$ s, an S-factor of 0.46V/decade, and a ${\Delta}V_{th}$ of 0.009V, which is due to the passivation of the defects by high thermal annealing without structural change.

다공질 실리콘 (Porous Silicon) 의 열산화 (Thermal Oxidation of Porous Silicon)

  • 다공질 실리콘을 열산화할 때 산화의 온도 의존성과 IR흡수 스펙트럼을 조사하여 다공질 실리콘외 산화특성을 조사하였다. PSL(porous silicon layer)을 $700^{\circ}C$에서 1시간, $1100^{\circ}C$에서 1시간으로 2단계 습식산화시켜 bulk 실리콘의 열산화막과 같은 성질의 수십 ${\mu}m$두께의 OPSL(oxidized porous silicon layer)을 짧은 시간에 형성시킬 수 있으며, 식각율과 항복전계는 산화온도와 산화 분위기에 크게 의존하는 것으로 나타났다. 이때 PSL의 산화율은 약 390nm/s이고, 항복전계는 1.0MV/cm~2.0MV/cm의 분포를 갖는다. 웨이퍼 휨을 측정하여 고온 열산화시 발생하는 산화막의 stress를 조사하였다. $1000^{\circ}C$ 이상의 고온에서 건식산화할 경우 발생하는 stress는 ${10^2}dyne/{cm^2}~{10^10}dyne/{cm^2}$로 측정되었다.

우리나라 청소년의 비만에 영향을 미치는 요인 분석 (Analysis of Factors Influencing the Obesity of Adolescents in South Korea)

  • Purpose: The purposes of this study were to check the obesity of middle and high school students in the nation and identify factors influencing their obesity. Methods: The present study is a secondary analysis research that obtained permission to use the primitive data of 10th (2014) Online Survey on Adolescents' Health Behaviors by the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and analyzed the primitive data according to the purposes. Results: The findings show that the BMI of middle and high school students in the nation was $20.7kg/m^2$ with the obesity and non-obesity group recording $27.0kg/m^2$ and $19.9kg/m^2$, respectively. Factors influencing the obesity of adolescents include gender, grade, educational background of parent, school grades for the last 12 months, satisfaction with sleep, fast food consumption, ramen consumption, intense and muscle exercise three times a week or more, subjective sense of health, stress, suicidal ideation, and hours of Internet usage per week. Conclusion: For the management of adolescent obesity, there is a need for obesity management programs taking the characteristics of male students into consideration. The possibilities of obesity grow according to the grades, which means that both the teachers and parents should offer more guidance on weight control in upper grades. The adjustment of adolescent obesity requires psychological health management including stress and suicidal ideation as well as diet control and exercise. It is also needed to apply a stepwise obesity management program according to the hours of internet usage and dependence on the internet

InGaAsP 에피막의 Spinodal분해 조직구조가 Photoluminescence 특성에 미치는 영향 (Influences of Spinodal Decomposition of InGaAsP Layer on Photoluminescence Characteristics)

  • 본 논문에서는 저압 유기금속 기상성장(low pressure metal organic vapor phase epitaxy) 장치에 의해 성장된 InGaAsP/InP 구조의 상(phase) 분리현상(Spinodal 분해)이 photoluminescence (PL)의 강도와 반치폭(full-width at half maximum, FWHM)에 미치는 영향에 대해 연구하였다. 시료의 격자부정합은 double crystal x-ray diffractometer를 사용하여 측정하였고, InGaAsP에피막의 Spinodal분해조직은 투과전자현미경 (transmission electron microscopy, TEM)을 사용하여 관측하였다. 격자부정합에서 도출된 부정합응력과 Spinodal 모듈레이션의 주기(periodicity)와 밀접한 관계가 있음이 밝혀졌다. 또한 이러한 InGaAsP에피막의 미세조직 구조와 시료의 광전 특성이 어떤 관계가 있는지 알기 위해 PL 실험을 수행했으며, PL강도와 FWHM이 조성 모듈레이션의 주기에 강하게 의존한다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이 현상을 심층적으로 연구하기 위해 부정합응력이 야기할 수 있는 interaction 탄성변형 에너지라는 새로운 함수를 유도하였으며 이에 의하여 실험결과를 설명할 수 있었다.

Protective Effect of Chungkukjang from Sunchang Province against Cellular Oxidative Damage

  • The protective effect of chungkukjang from Sunchang province against oxidative stress was evaluated in the cellular system using LLC-$PK_1$ renal epithelial cells. The LLC-$PK_1$ cells showed decrease in cell viability and elevation in lipid peroxidation by the treatment with the generators of nitric oxide (NO) and superoxide anion ($O_2^-$) produced by sodium nitrouprusside and pyrogallol, respectively. However, the methanol extract of chungkukjang significantly inhibited cellular loss and lipid peroxidation in a dose-dependent manner; in particular K chungkukjang (KC) exerted the strongest protective effect. In addition, the protective effect of chungkukjang from 3-morpholinosydnonimine, as a source of peroxynitrite, with simultaneous generations of NO and $O_2^-$, was also studied. Treatment with chungkukjangs significantly preserved the cell viability and inhibited lipid peroxidation caused by SIN-1 with dose-dependence. The present study suggests that chungkukjang from Sunchang province, especially KC, would have protective potential from oxidative stress induced by free radicals under cellular oxidative damage.

외상후 스트레스장애 환자의 기질 및 성격 유형에 따른 우울 및 불안 차이 (Comparison of the Anxiety and Depression According to the Patterns of Temperament and Character in Patients with Posttraumatic Stress Disorder)

  • Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate differences in anxiety and depression symptoms, comorbidity according to the patterns of temperament and character in patients with posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Methods : The temperament and character inventory (TCI), beck depression inventory (BDI) and beck anxiety inventory (BAI) were administered to 151 PTSD patients classified into four groups of adaptation, vulnerable temperament, immature personality and composite vulnerability according to the results of the Temperament and Character Inventory (TCI). MANOVA and Chi-square tests were conducted to analyze differences in BDI, BAI, temperament and character scores and rate of comorbid disorders between the four groups. Results : The immature character and complex vulnerability group showed the higher rate of comorbid depression disorder. Anxiety and depression severity were significantly different among groups, especially depression severity had higher scores in the immature character and complex vulnerability groups and anxiety severity had higher scores in the complex vulnerability group than adaptive group. The immature character and complex vulnerability groups showed significantly lower score on the temperament scale of reward dependence and persistent. Conclusion : The results demonstrate the significance of adaptive characteristics on anxiety and depression symptoms regardless of vulnerable temperaments, and its consequent role in the management of character factors relative to intervention regarding PTSD.
