This study was to evaluate bond properties between high-strength steel fiber reinforced concrete and high strength steel rebar. An direct bond test were performed to evaluate the bond performance of high strength steel rebar in two types of high-strength concrete with steel fiber volume fraction (0, 20, $40kg/m^3$). Also, relative bond strength was defined to determine the effect of steel fiber volume fraction on bond strength. The bond test results showed that the bond performance of high strength steel rebar and high strength concrete tended to increase with higher compressive strength and steel fiber volume fraction. Relative bond strength which performed to analyze effect of steel fiber volume fraction showed increased relative bond strength with increased steel fiber volume fraction.
Reinforcement corrosion can cause serious safety deterioration to aging concrete structures exposed in aggressive environments. This paper presents an approach for reliability analyses of deteriorating reinforced concrete structures affected by reinforcement corrosion on the basis of the representative symptoms identified during the deterioration process. The concrete cracking growth and rebar bond strength evolution due to reinforcement corrosion are chosen as key symptoms for the performance deterioration of concrete structures. The crack width at concrete cover surface largely depends on the corrosion penetration of rebar due to the expansive rust layer at the bond interface generated by reinforcement corrosion. The bond strength of rebar in the concrete correlates well with concrete crack width and decays steadily with crack width growth. The estimates of cracking development and bond strength deterioration are examined by experimental data available from various sources, and then matched with symptom-based lifetime Weibull model. The symptom reliability and remaining useful life are predicted from the predictive lifetime Weibull model for deteriorating concrete structures. Finally, a numerical example is provided to demonstrate the applicability of the proposed approach for forecasting the performance of concrete structures subject to reinforcement corrosion. The results show that the corrosion rate has significant impact on the reliability associated with serviceability and load bearing capacity of reinforced concrete structures during their service life.

In this experiment high-strength concrete of good workability is made by means of either replacing unit cement quantity to fly-ash by 20% or using low heat cement to reduce the internal hydration heat suggested as the fault of concrete. Concrete is poured through ready mixed concrete to test the ability of applying to the substantial works and is carried out the test of flowing and core strength and record of temperature of imitating specimens. It is capable to apply high-strength concrete replaced to fly-adh 20% to the substantial works through the experiment
The rheological behaviour of high strength self compacting concrete (HS-SCC) studied through an experimental investigation is presented in this paper. The effect of variation in supplementary cementitious materials (SCM) $vis-{\grave{a}}-vis$ four different types of processed crushed sand as fine aggregates is studied. Apart from the ordinary Portland cement (OPC), the SCMs such as fly ash (FA), ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS) ultrafine slag (UFS) and micro-silica (MS) are used in different percentages keeping the mix -paste volume and flow of concrete, constant. The combinations of rheology, strength and durability are equally important for selection of mixes in respect of high-rise building constructions. These combinations are referred to as the rheo-strength and rheo-durability which is scientifically linked to performance based rating. The findings show that the fineness of the sands and types of SCM affects the rheo-strength and rheo-durability performance of HS-SCC. The high amount of fines often seen in fine aggregates contributes to the higher yield stress. Further, the mixes with processed sand is found to offer better rheology as compared to that of mixes made using unwashed crushed sand, washed plaster sand, washed fine natural sand. The micro silica and ultra-fine slag conjunction with washed crushed sand can be a good solution for high rise construction in terms of rheo-strength and rheo-durability performance.

In this study, the mass production process was simulated using a 1m3 batcher plant to evaluate the application of high-strength fire resistance concrete. The strength ranges of concrete were set to 50, 60, 70, and 80 MPa, and each concrete mix proportions was selected through preliminary experiments in the laboratory. For the selected concrete mix proportions, after the mixer load value was stabilized in the batcher plant, the slump flow and air content of the fresh concrete were evaluated, and the compressive strength was evaluated up to 56 days. As a result of the experiment, both the slump flow and air content of the fresh concrete satisfied the target performance, and in the case of compressive strength, 50 and 60 MPa satisfied the target performance at 28 days and 70 and 80 MPa at 56 days.

Since at least three-quarters of the volume of concrete is occupied by aggregate, it is not surprising that its quality is considerable importance. Not only may the aggregate limit the strength of concrete, as weak aggregate cannot porduce strong concrete, but the properties of aggregate greatly affect the durability and sructural performance of concrete. But, it is ture that aggregate strength is usually not a factor in normal concrete strength because the aggregate particle is several times stronger than the matrix and the transition zone in concrete. This study is to consider the influence the strength of concrete according to the kinds of aggregate, such as crushed river rocks, curshed rocks, high strength recycled aggregate, low strength recycled aggregate at water cement ratio 0.25. It is possible to concern the important of the mechanical role of aggegate for the high strength concrete.

While a little research has been peformed on flexural behavior of reinforced polymer concrete (RPC)beams with the compressive strength lower than 900kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$ vary little exists in conjunction with the behavior of RPC 1,000kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$ or higher in compressive strength. In this paper the flexural performance of high strength polymer concrete beams with 1,450kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$ in compressive strength was evaluated. The unsaturated polyester resin was used to make polymer concrete as binder. The beams with stirrup singly/doubly were tested to examine the effect of tensile reinforcement ratio. As test results, reinforcement ratio increased with the increase moment strength, decreased with ultimate deflection, ductility index.

Recently, as structure is more higher and bigger, we need high strength and high performance concrete. Therefore it is necessary superplasticizer for high strength and high performance concrete. In this study, it is examined the properties of flow, air content and strength of concrete with polycarboxylate superplasticizer in comparison with existing superplasticizer. First, The slump loss of concrete used polycarboxylate superplasticizer showed 2cm until 120 minutes. Second, The air content loss of concrete used polycarboxylate superplasticizer showed $1\%$ until 120 minutes. Third, It is possible to manufacture $1000kgf/cm^2$ strength concrete using polycarboxylate superplasticizer with $806kg/m^3$ cement content, $18\%$ water-binder ratio, $15\%$ silica fume, $10\%$ fly-ash content.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the spalling properties of high-performance concrete with the kinds of aggregates and polypropylene(below PP) fiber contents. According to the experimental results, concrete contained no PP fiber take place in the form of the surface spalling and the failure of specimens after fire test regardless of the kinds of aggregates. Concrete contained more than 0.05% of PP fiber with the kinds of aggregates does not take place the spalling. Concrete using basalt has better performance in spalling resistance that concrete using granite and limestone. It is found that residual compressive strength has 50~60% of their original strength. Although specimens after exposed at high temperature are cured at water for 28days, they do not recover their original strength.

In this study, evaluation system of impact resistance performance is proposed. Compressive strength of concrete is 40, 60 and 80MPa. It evaluate impact resistance performance to use projectile 6, 7 and 8mm size. As a result, safety performance is more higher when the compressive strength is increased in. Compared with Hughes's formula, evaluation system of impact resistance performance is appropriated.
