RC 및 SFRC 외부 보-기둥 접합부에 대한 고강도 확대머리 철근의 정착강도 (Development Strengths of High Strength Headed Bars of RC and SFRC Exterior Beam-Column Joint)

  • 본 연구에서는 철근콘크리트(RC) 및 강섬유보강콘크리트(SFRC) 외부 보-기둥 접합부에서 SD700인 확대머리철근의 정착성능을 실험적으로 평가하였다. 실험체는 총 10개로 제작되었으며 강섬유 보강 유무, 정착길이, 보의 유효춤, 스터럽 배근상세 등을 변수로 계획하였다. 실험결과, 실험체는 실험변수에 따라 측면파열파괴, 콘크리트 브레이크아웃파괴, 전단파괴 등이 나타났다. 정착길이를 변수로 한 RC 계열실험체에서 정착길이가 25~80% 증가함에 따라 정착강도는 26.5~42.2% 증가하여 정착길이에 비례하지 않음을 확인하였다. 보의 유효춤이 2배인 JD 계열 실험체는 콘크리트 브레이크아웃파괴가 나타나 기준 실험체에 비하여 31.5~62% 최대내력이 감소하였다. 확대머리철근 주위의 전단보강근 간격이 기준실험체에 비하여 1/2배인 S 계열 실험체는 8.4~ 9.7% 최대내력이 증가하였다. SFRC 실험체 콘크리트 압축강도가 RC 실험체 콘크리트 압축강도에 비하여 29.3% 작게 평가되었지만, 정착강도는 7.3~12.2% 더 크게 증가하였다. 이에 강섬유 보강에 따른 확대머리 철근의 정착성능이 크게 향상됨을 확인하였다. KDS 기준의 정착길이 92%, 110%로 배근된 실험체의 실험 최대내력이 이론내력에 비하여 92%, 99%인 결과를 고려하면 안전율을 더욱 크게 고려할 필요가 있는 것으로 판단된다. 또한 정착길이 대비 보의 유효춤을 고려한 설계식 제시가 요구된다.

유산소 병행 운동과 순수 저항 운동의 근활성도 및 근 두께의 변화 (Changes in Muscle Activity and Thickness of Resistance Exercise added Aerobic Exercise and Pure Resistance Exercise)

  • 본 연구는 넙다리 부위의 근력 증진을 위해 순수 저항운동과 유산소 병행 저항운동의 효과를 비교해 임상에서 근력증진을 목적으로 한 운동 프로그램의 근거자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 넙다리 곧은근의 근활성도는 두 군 모두 실험전에 비해 실험후 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었고, 측정시기에 따른 군간 비교에서 순수 저항 운동군에 비해 유산소 병행 운동군이 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 넙다리 곧은근의 두께는 두 군 모두 실험전에 비해 실험 후 유의한 차이가 없었으나, 측정 시기에 따른 군간비교에서 실험후에 순수 저항 운동군에 비해 유산소 병행 저항 운동군이 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 결론적으로 근력 증진을 목적으로한 순수 저항 운동보다 저항 운동 후 유산소 운동을 실시하는 유산소 병행 운동이 근활성화 및 근 비대에 더 효과적임을 알 수 있었다.

대퇴사두근 등척성 운동(QSE)과 전기자극(ES)이 대퇴사두근의 근력 증진에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Quadriceps Setting Exercise and Electrical Stimulation on Improvement of Quadriceps Muscle Strength)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of quadriceps setting exercise(N= 10) and electrical stimulation(N= 10) on improvement of quadriceps muscle strength. The experiment were performed for 6weeks. The subject of this study was 20 college students(male) who had not any medical problems. The quadriceps muscle strength was evaluated by make use of the KIN COM(Isokinetic dynamometer). The electrical stimulator was used to stimulate the quadriceps muscle. The results were as follows: 1. The mean increment ratio was 29.6% for concentric muscle strength and 36.4% for eccentric muscle strength after quadriceps setting exercise(p<0.05). 2. The mean increment ratio was 21.2% for concentric muscle strength and 24.3% for eccentric muscle strength after electrical stimulation, but did not significantly higher than pre-electrical stimulation In this study, we have found that quadriceps setting exercise on left side affect the improvement of the muscle strength in college students(male). However, electrical stimulation did not affect on the muscle strength.

  • To reduce the size of structural members high strength concrete has recently been utilized for structrue such as ultra-high-rise buildings and prestressed concrete bridges in North America. and its compressive strength has gone up to 1300kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$. In Japan, research on high-strength concrete has been undertaken on a large scale by the national enterprise so-called New RC Project, and this project purposed to develop the design compressive sstength of 1200kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$. Considering these circumstance. the aim of this aim of this experimental study is to develop ultra-high-strength concrete with compressive stength over 2300kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$ with domestic current materials. There are so many factors which influence on manufacturing of ultrahigh-strength concrete. The experimental factors selected in this study are mixing methods, curing methods, water-binder ratio, maximum size of coarse aggregate, and the replacement proportion of cement by silica fume. The results of this expermental study show that it is possible to develop the ultra-high-strength concrete with compressive strength over 2300kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$.

정상 성인에서 복부 드로우-인 기법을 동반한 복부근 활성화가 파악력에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Abdominal Muscle Activity in Combination with the Abdominal Drawing-in Maneuver for Grip Strength in Healthy Young Adults)

  • Purpose: The grip strength is influenced by various factors, such as position of the upper extremity, characteristics of the hand, and general physical condition. In this study, we investigated whether abdominal muscle activity in combination with the abdominal drawing-in maneuver has any effect on the grip strength in healthy young adults. Methods: This study included 31 healthy subjects (16 males, 15 females). We used surface electromyography and pressure bio-feedback unit for this experiment. All Subjects were placed in a cock-lying position with comfort and the grip strength was measured. On the following day, the pressure bio-feedback unit was placed beneath their fifth lumbar vertebra, and the, grip strength was measured again. This time, the measurement was taken while drawing-in their abdomen below the navel gently and gradually, while maintaining a neutral pelvic position. Results: The grip strength was significantly increased when subjects performed the drawing-in maneuver than when they were comfortable (p<0.05). In addition, activations of the rectus abdominal muscles significantly increased (p<0.05). Conclusion: In the current study, we found that abdominal muscle activity, in combination with the abdominal drawing-in maneuver, affected the grip strength, positively. Therefore, we suggest that this result should be considered when evaluating the grip strength.

중형견(犬) 치과 보철물 제작을 위한 소재의 기계적 강도 관찰 (Observation of Mechanical Strength of Materials for Dog Dental Prosthesis Production)

  • Purpose: This study is making a dog dental prosthesis using digital dental technology. The mechanical strength of the prosthetic material was observed in terms of compressive strength and fracture pattern. Methods: The experiment was performed using dog mandibular molars. The teeth were scanned and modeled. The specimens were made of zirconia, PMMA and Ni-Cr. The specimens were subjected to a vertical compression test with an artificial cancellous bone in UTM tester. Vertical compressive strength and fracture behavior of specimen were observed. Results: The result of observing the compressive load between specimen and artificial bone were $184.8{\pm}5.7N$ in the zirconia specimen, $185.6{\pm}8.9N$ in the PMMA specimen, and $184.4{\pm}4.0N$ in the Ni-Cr alloy specimen. Compression marks of artificial bones were observed. The fracture strength of specimen was observed. The fracture strength of the zirconia specimen was an average of 1,381.4N. The fracture strength of the PMMA specimen was an average of 572.2N. Conclusion: The crown made of three kinds(zirconia, PMMA, Ni-Cr alloy) of materials has the strength to chew about the artificial bone. zirconia and PMMA have vertical compressive strength applicable to medium dog dental prosthetic materials.

사계성 페치카' 딸기의 고랭지 여름철 양액재배 가능성 및 적정 양액농도 검토 (Hydroponic Culture Possibility and Optimal Solution Strength of 'Pechika' Ever-bearing Strawberry on Highland in Summer)

  • 수출 유망작목인 사철딸기의 페치카 품종을 이용하여 코랭지(해발 약 800m)의 여름 생산(6-9월) 가능성과 고설벤취식 양액재배의 적합한 양액관리 농도를 검토한 결과가 아래와 같다. 고랭지한천)에서는 평지(분산)보다 하우스내 상온이 $4^{\circ}C$ 정도 낮았고 야간온도가 $1^{\circ}C$ 정도 낮았다. 근권온도는 고랭지(최고 $25.5^{\circ}C$, 최저 $19^{\circ}C$)가 평지보다 평균 $3^{\circ}C$ 정도 낮았다. 초기생육(엽수, 엽장, 엽폭, 생체중 등)은 고랭지에서 평지보다 좋았으며 기형과 발생율도 낮았다. 주당과 중은 고랭지에서 평지에 비해 많았으며 특히 수출규격품 과실$(8{\sim}15g)$중도 높았다. 총수량은 고랭지에서 2,967kg/10a로 평지에 비해 52%증수하였으며 과실의 가용성 고형물과 유기산 함량이 높았고 Citric acid가 95% 이상이었다. 양액농도 관리에서는 S(EC $0.75dS\;m^{-1}$)에서 생체중 생육이 가장 좋았으며 양액농도가 증가할수록 억제되는 경향이었다. 특히 5/3S(EC $1.25dS\;m^{-1}$)에서는 뿌리의 갈변이 심하고 근활력이 낮았다. 총수량은 S(EC $0.75dS\;m^{-1}$)에서 2,064kg/10a로 가장 많았으며 양액농도와 수량간의 추세선은 $y=-808{\times}2+967x+1703$($R^2=0.7994$, 꼭지점 =3/5S)였다. 이상의 결과에서 페치카의 여름재배에 알맞은 양액농도(EC)는 3/5S이고, $1.0dS\;m^{-1}$ 이상에서는 과실의 당도는 높아지나 기형과의 발생이 많으므로 낮은 농도로 관리하는 것이 유리한 것으로 판단되었다.

온도 및 습도가 Glass-ionomer cement와 Composite resin의 접착강도에 미치는 변화에 관한 연구 (A STUDY ON THE EFFECTS OF THE TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY TO THE TENSILE BOND STRENGTH BETWEEN GLASS-IONOMER CEMENT AND COMPOSITE RESIN)

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects of etching time, environmental temperature and humidity on the adhesion of composite resin to glass-ionomer cement. Two chemical cure composite resins (Clearfil F II and Microrest AP) and two glass-ionomer cements (Fuji ionomer Type I and KET AC-CEM) were used as the experimental materials. The experiment is performed in 3 stages: The first stage is to bond composite resins to glass-ionomer cements, and the surface was not etched, and etched for 20 seconds, 40 seconds, and 60 seconds. Then specimens are stored in distilled water at $37^{\circ}C$ for 24 hours to measure tensile strength. The second stage is to choose the one group that had the highest tensile strength from the first stage and prepare two experimental groups: One group with composite resin bonded to glass-ionomer cement without etching and bonding agent application and the other with composite resin bonded to glass-ionomer cement with etching but without any bonding agent application. The specimens are stored in distilled water at $37^{\circ}C$ for 24 hours and tensile strength is measured. The third stage is to choose group that had the highest tensile strength from the first stage experiment, and bond composite resin to glass-ionomer cement at $24^{\circ}C$ 44%, $30^{\circ}C$ 44%, $30^{\circ}C$ 80%, and $32^{\circ}C$ 92%. The storage time of specimens is to bond immediately after storage, then changed to 30 sec., 60 sec., and 120 sec.. Specimens are stored in distilled water at $37^{\circ}C$ for 24 hours and their tensile strength are measured again. The following results were obtained: 1. As the etching time increases, the tensile bond strength between glass-ionomer cement and composite resin increase, and the tensile bond strength is the highest when acid etched for 60 minutes (P < 0.05). 2. After acid etching for 60 minutes, the tensile strength of the group with bonding agent was stronger than that without bonding agent application (P < 0.05). 3. The tensile strength of Clearfil F II was stronger than that of Microrest AP. 4. It was observed that the tensile bond strength is not affected by different storage time with different temperature and humidity. 5. As the humidity was increased, the tensile bond strength between glass-ionomer cement and composite resin decreased (P < 0.05).

A Model to Predict the Strength of Watermark in DWT-Based Image Watermarking

  • One of main issues in watermarking is to resolve the strength of watermark for solving the problem of trade-off between fidelity and robustness of watermarking. In the previous research, the strength of watermark has been resolved fixed value generally without considering local image characteristics such as image brightness, contrast, and edge. This paper proposes a new model to predict the strength of watermark considering local image characteristics such as image brightness, contrast, and edge for digital wavelet transform(DWT)-based image watermarking. For the study, psychological experiment was fulfilled to measure the human image perception and regression analysis showed the proposed model was statistically significant at the level of ${\alpha}\;=\;0.01$. Also the model is practically validated on fidelity and robustness of watermarking.
