This paper presents a dynamic development of an ontology-based statistical information system supporting the collection, storage, processing, analysis, and the presentation of statistical knowledge at the national scale. To accomplish this, we propose a data mining technique to dynamically collect data relating to citizens from publicly available data sources; the collected data will then be structured, classified, categorized, and integrated into an ontology. Moreover, an intelligent platform is proposed in order to generate quantitative and qualitative statistical information based on the knowledge stored in the ontology. The main aims of our proposed system are to digitize administrative tasks and to provide reliable statistical information to governmental, economic, and social actors. The authorities will use the ontology-based statistical information system for strategic decision-making as it easily collects, produces, analyzes, and provides both quantitative and qualitative knowledge that will help to improve the administration and management of national political, social, and economic life.

Korean government has been implementing a smart grid testbed in Jeju Island for the low-carbon green growth. As smart grids are in the early stage of their diffusion, strategic guidelines and related measures are needed to spread them successfully. In general, the successful diffusion of new technologies or new products are mostly determined in its early stages. With the introduction of smart grids, the electricity market paradigm will be transformed into user-oriented from provider-oriented. Thus, a study on the diffusion of smart grids from the perspective of users is necessary. This paper examines factors affecting the adoption and diffusion of smart grids from users' perspectives and provide strategic guidelines for diffusing the smart grid. Researchers conducted in-depth interviews with 41 people who have been already using smart grids in the Jeju testbed. Semi-structured interviews were used to collect data. The interviews were recorded on a digital voice recorder memory and subsequently transcribed verbatim. A total of 133 pages of transcripts were obtained from about 10 hours interviews. 97 concepts, 47 sub-categories and 19 categories were identified through open coding of grounded theory. We suggested a paradigm model for diffusing smart grids and total of seven propositions as strategic guidelines.

As part of overseas defense program of the US's Trump administration, the military allies were asked to cover partial operation costs for the weaponry deployed at the US bases in their countries. This raised the Korean government's, as well as defense industry's interest in constructing a tactical/strategic communication network and investments are being made actively. Thus, in this study, the performances of WiMAX and WLAN have been compared and a tactical/strategic communication network has been constructed for simulation by using OPNET. As a result, the simulation for the network using combat tanks was successful. An average communication distance that can be achieved by WLAN in open terrain is about 200m as it has been designed on the premise of short-range wireless communications. When the distance was increased to 1km, the tanks could not receive data. By contrast, it was able to confirm that the WiMAX-based network has allowed smooth communications at the same distance. Based on this result, it can be concluded that using WiMAX for tactical operations will have much more merit than adopting WLAN as far as the distance is concerned.

Recently, many internet firms have opted the strategic alliances with other on/off-line firms in order to gain and sustain their competitive advantages. Previous research on market reaction to such alliances, however, shows mixed results. Therefore, the purpose of this thesis is to analyze the announcement effects of the alliances among internet firms in the stock market. Focusing on on-line firms that have been outside the scope of previous research, this study applied the event study methodology and examined the cumulative abnormal returns(CAR) for 245 alliance announcements between October 1998 and May 2002. Further, this study conducted a survey to categorize various types of announcements and 40 usable returns has been analyzed. The notable results from this study include: 1) The strategic alliances announcements do not have statistically positive effects on stock prices of the announcing firms. 2) Contrary to the results of the previous research, the CARs associated with marketing alliances are higher than those with technology alliances. 3) The degree of fitness among firms' disposition, their alliance purpose, and alliance type chosen influences the performance of their alliances.

In this study, we conducted technology monitoring to search for the current technology level and new technologies targeting the core technologies selected as "convergence technologies based on advanced ICT". This technology group, selected by the National Research Foundation(NRF) as one of the future-emerging technologies in 2018, consists of 'next-generation millimeter wave wireless communication technology', 'data-centric computing technology', and 'immersive media interface' that can be seen as important technologies in the fourth industrial revolution. It is possible to provide strategic research direction to the R&D-related stakeholders of countries or enterprises by providing information on newly emerged technologies through quantitative analysis based on patent data on these technologies. Therefore, in this study, we proposed a new technology for the convergence technologies based on advaned ICT group through patent data based on the newly emerged IPC code, and also suggested that it can suggest a strategic direction in planning R&D on related technologies.

52개 저축은행을 대상으로 구조적 상황이론에 근거한 정보시스템 기술 구조와 경쟁적 전략적 적합성 여부의 관계를 조사하였다. 중앙 집중식 정보 기술과 분산형의 정보기술 구조가 경쟁 우위를 점하기 위해서는 공격주도형 전략이나 방어적 전략을 어떻게 일치를 시키는 것이 경쟁적 잇점에 긍적적인 영향을 미치는가에 관해서 실증 분석을 하였다. 이 연구에서 방어적 전략을 채택하는 경우에는 정보기술 구조를 중앙 집중적이고 통합된 형태를 취하고, 공격적인 형태의 전략을 채택하고자하는 경우에는 분산 형태 정보 기술구조를 취하는 것이 훨씬 더 유리하다는 결론을 얻었다.

인공지능의 발전과 함께 RPA(Robotic Process Automation)의 광범위한 적용은 필연적인 것이 되었다. 본 연구의 목적은 RPA를 기반으로 하여 교차되는 원가정보의 자동수집, 적시성 및 유연성을 지닌 원가관리의 최적화 방안을 모색하고자 함에 있다. RPA기반의 원가관리시스템은 원가정보 인식의 교차시스템, 클라우드 플랫폼 등을 통하여 원가관리프로세스의 최적화와 개선을 이룩할 수 있을 것이다. RPA 관련기술의 효익, RPA기술과 회계기능에 대한 선행연구를 조사하고, 현행의 원가관리 문제점을 파악하여 경영의사결정을 지원하는 관리회계 실행을 위한 원가관리의 최적화를 구현하는 RPA적용방안을 제시하고자 한다.

Recently the concentration of fine dust and ultra fine dust becomes so bad, which seriously threatens the health and even the life of people. So, government started to investigate several ways to reduce the amount of fine dust and ultra fine dust. From a few years ago it has been known that ships anchored at port emit a lot of pollution and seriously affect air quality of neighboring cities. To reduce the pollution emitted by ship AMP (Alternative Maritime Power Supply) has been proposed, which uses the electricity instead of bunker C oil or diesel. Many developed countries already installed AMP to improve air quality in port area. Korea is in the stage of planning to install AMP at port. However, there are many complicated problems to be handled before AMP installation. Due to huge initial cost and long period of construction ship owner and habour operating company are reluctant to AMP installation. And there are serious technological difficulties in constructing AMP in existing harbour. Lack of AMP core technology and operational difficulties of AMP are also big challenges to be conquered. In this study SWOT/AHP method is used to find strategic and efficient ways to handle above complicated challenges and then to vitalize the AMP installation.

The purpose of this study is to prove empirically that technology investment propency factors (TIPFs) refect on the technological competitive advantage (TCA) and management performance. It includes the role of open technology innovation (OTI) approach is mediate to TCA from technology investment propensity. Especially the three TIPFs are market orientation, innovation orientation and strategy orientation. The analysis were performed based on the respondents' data from 181 firms focusing to technology innovation and information technology. The suggested research assumptions including structured equation model were proved. Therefore, this study emphasizes that CEO or CTO must concentrate on innovative, strategic and market oriented propensity when he makes a decision on technology investment. An open innovation approach is effective for getting high TCA and management performance in technology intensive firms such as technology innovation and information technology.

This Research aims to analyze the effects of SCM management capabilities and IT capabilities on firm performance. The strategic performance was shown to be positively and significantly affected by flexibility and responsiveness which were proxies for SCM management capabilities. However, neither main effect of IT capability nor interaction effects of IT capability and SCM management capability on firm performance was found.
