By IPCC climate change scenario, the socioeconomic actions such as the land use change are closely associated with the climate change as an up zoning action of urban development to increase green gas emission to atmosphere. Prediction of the land use change with rational quality can provide better data for understanding of the climate change in future. This study aims to predict land use change of Cheongju in future and SLEUTH model is used to anticipate with the status quo condition, in which the pattern of land use change in future follows the chronical tendency of land use change during last 25 years. From 40 years prediction since 2000 year, the area urbanized compared with 2000 year increases up to 87.8% in 2040 year. The ratios of the area urbanized from agricultural area and natural area in 2040 are decreased to 53.1% and 15.3%, respectively.

The purpose of this study is to investigate into the various ways that the computer technology is used for language testing. Three uses of computer technology are mentioned: 1) computer-adaptive language testing and computer-based language testing, 2) the scoring of performance-based language assessment, and 3) the development and use of psychometric tools for analyzing the scoring results. Although the various uses of computer technology could provide expanded possibilities for language testing development, the developers should be reminded that they are currently subject to indepth research which could support their validity. In this regard, the advantages and limitations of some uses of computer technology for language testing are discussed.

Speech-language therapist's experiences of their clinical practice offer greater insight to develop the assessment model for resonance disorders appropriate to the clinical setting. In order to investigate their experiences of resonance disorders qualitatively, a semi-structured interview questionnaire was developed on the basis of the review of the literatures about the assessment procedures. From the interviews with 4 speech therapists analysed by using a qualitative, constant-comparative method, 3 main themes were derived: (1) the currently accepted definitions and characteristics of the resonance disorders, (2) the status quo of the assessment procedures, and (3) the needs for the improvement of the assessment procedures. In addition, 15 sub-themes were emerged from the 3 main themes. All themes mentioned by the therapists provide the directions for the development of comprehensive and valid assessment model for the resonance disorders in Korea.

With the acceleration of globalization, China accounts for a larger part in the world economy. The Korea fashion brands that have entered into China are becoming more diverse and various and China has become a major market of Korea fashion brands. More than 100 Korea fashion brands rushed into Shanghai, gaining a lot of attention. Korea fashion brands have market strategies such as differentiation strategy, high price and diversification. Korea fashion brands have gained a large market share in China owing to their diversity of products and successful marketing strategy. In order to get more profit, they should make more efforts to increase their brands' awareness, getting more potential consumers.

In response to epoch-making development in science and technology, the innovative curricular materials have been begun to develop since the late 1950s and early 1960s. However, the new inquiry-centered materials have failed to be successfully used in teaching/learning practices of science. Among the various reasons for the failure, the very nature of the inquiry approach has been identified as the most critical problem. Nevertheless, fostering inquiry faculties on the part of the students has been emphasized as one of the most important objectives of science instruction. Therefore this study was conducted for the purpose of developing a practical inquiry-oriented instructional method. In order to obtain this goal the nature of scientific inquiry was analyzed and the status quo of science education in which inquiry-oriented instructional strategies were applied was examined. The results of the study are described in this paper.

본 논문에서는 지하구내에 설치된 전기설비의 국내 외 설치기준 및 침수로 인한 피해실태에 대해 검토하였다. 검토과정에서는 이미 보고된 바 있는 다양한 자료 및 인터넷 기사를 근거로 하여 국내 외 기준 및 수해실태를 비교 분석함으로써 침수피해의 근본적인 원인을 규명하였다.

The purpose of this paper is to suggest field-oriented policy of regional innovation support system. To accomplish this purpose, we examined the status quo of technical support, performance satisfaction of consumers and practical issues. The key factors influencing core technical innovation of small and medium firms are development fund, R&D employees, experimental instrument, technical information, protection of intellectual property, subcontracting and so on. To make sure of practical effect, therefore, it would rather necessary to implement policy support linking government and supporting means on the ground of needs of small and medium firms than specific method such as funding.

The purpose of this study was to develop a Korean assessment model for the patients with voice disorders. Interviews were conducted with 4 voice therapists and the results were analyzed by using a qualitative, constant-comparative design. According to the three themes emerged from the qualitative analysis, 10 subthemes were derived. The three main themes were 1) consideration on the disordered voice, 2) status quo of instrumental and perceptual evaluation, and 3) suggestions for the other voice therapists. The 10 subthemes can be summarized as the following: 1) judgment centering on the patients, 2) increase of the reliability of instrumental and perceptual evaluation, 3) voice therapists' positive participation in the assessment procedure of voice disorder.

The Status quo of the reliability in China is described in this paper, a reliability surge is now spreading in China, covering the fields such as hardware, software, machinery and electronics. The reliability work in China was firstly conducted by the CEPREI Lab as far as early in the 1950s, and the reliability engineering in China has developed from the reliability of electronic products to that of machinery and non-electronic products, from hardware reliability to software reliability, from the attention to the reliability statistical test to emphasis on the reliability engineering test. Concern of Chinese companies about the reliability is the complete import of reliability engineering, the reliability testing, the software reliability and the reliability of lead-free soldering. Demonstration of reliability cases is given.

In this research, we interviewed primary school teachers and students with hypothetical situations questions and got a comprehensive picture of the status quo of what is happening in the new mathematics classrooms of Mainland China, that is, teachers' conceptions of mathematics and their teaching approaches influence the students' conceptions of mathematics to a large extent. For the teacher who emphasizes the precision and rigidity of mathematics, her students focus on the superficial characteristics of mathematics. On the contrary, for the teacher who believes that mathematics is an open process, related to real life and rich in content, her students are more interested in mathematics and have more diverse conceptions.
