  • The new approach of homogeneous robust control systems synthesis, both linear, and nonlinear and non-stationary is offered. The control is carried out, providing the given phase constrains varied in acceptable limits, in view of constrains on its value and incompleteness of the information about functioning disturbances. The approach is based on introduction of auxiliary integral surfaces, on which the initial moving is projected. As a result the reduced equivalent moving is forming, described by the scalar equation which in many important cases can be integrated directly. On the basis of the obtained equation solving of a synthesis task is carried out and can be reduced to algebraic or integral inequalities. The final relations defined for linear equivalent moving are presented.

  • 26 bacterial strains capable of growing on Terephthalic acid (TPA) in minimal medium were isolated from soil and wastewater by selective enrichment culture, and among them, one isolate which was the best in the cell growth and TPA degradation was selected and identified as Pseudomonas sp. T-1 by its characteristics. Cell growth almost revealed a stationary phase at 24 hrs after cultivation. Cell growth dramatically increased in a minimal medium containing 0.1% of TPA as a sole carbon source and TPA was not detected any more at 80 hrs after cultivation. Therefore, it is suggested that Pseudomonas sp. T-1 could be effectively used for the biological treatment of wastewater containing TPA.

  • The purpose of this research is to study the vibration and acoustic pressure radiation from a thin isotropic flat plate stiffened by a rectangular array of beams, and excited by a time harmonic point force. These constructions on aircraft and ship structures are often subjected to fiequency dependent pressure fluctuations and forces. Forces from the these excitations induce structural vibrations in a wide range of fiequencies, which may cause such things as acoustic fatigue and internal cabin noise in the aircraft. It is thus important that the response characteristics and vibration modes of such periodic structures be horn. From this theoretical model, the sound pressure levels(SPL) in a semi-infinite fluid(water) bounded by the plate with the variation in the locations of an external time harmonic point farce on the plate can be calculated efficiently using three numerical tools such as the Gauss-jordan method the LU decomposition method md the IMSL numerical package.

  • Streptococcus sp J-C1 producing bacteriocin was isolated from Kimchi. The optimum conditions for bacteriocin production by Streptococcus sp. J-C1 were evaluated. For the maximum yield of bacteriocin production by Streptococcus sp. J-C1, the cell should be harvested at the late stationary phase and the temperature, pH and NaCl concentration should be 25$\circ$C, pH 8 and without the addition of NaCl, respectively. Sucrose should be used as a carbon source and organic nitrogen such as peptone should be used as a nitorgen source for the best yield. The production of bacteriocin is related to the cell growth of Streptococcus sp. J-C1. The bacteriocin from Streptococcus sp. J-C1 was active for gram positive microorganisms such as Lactobacillus sp., Leuconoctoc sp., Lactococcus sp., Streptococcus mutans, Staphylococcus aureus amd Bacillus subtilis and also active for gram negetive bacteria such as Acetobacter aceti. Antibacterial activity of the bacteriocin was completely disappeared by protease treatment.

  • In the present paper, a numerical method based on the constraint interpolation profile (CIP) method is applied for simulating two-dimensional violent sloshing problems. The free surface boundary value problem is considered as a multiphase problem which includes water and air. A stationary Cartesian grid system is adopted, and an interface capturing method is used to trace the shape of free surface profile. The CIP combined unified procedure (CCUP) scheme is applied for flow solver, and the tangent of hyperbola for interface capturing (THINC) scheme is used for interface capturing. Numerical simulations have been carried out for partially-filled 2D tanks under forced sway and roll motions at various filling depths and frequencies. The computational results are compared with experiments and/or the other numerical results to validate the present numerical method.

  • In stratified flows of two immiscible liquids, due to the vibration in a pipe, the shape of the interface is not always periodic and it causes the different end points of the interfacial boundary. In this case the performance is not good. To solve this, in this paper, the hybrid-type Fourier series is proposed, which consists of both the polynomial and the trigonometric terms. Under the stationary interfacial boundary during acquiring a full set of voltage data, the performance of the proposed method is evaluated through the numerical experiments. The results show that the proposed method performs better than the conventional Fourier series in estimating the interfacial boundary.

  • In this paper, The author present a load current feed-forward compensator by method that improve voltage controller of Step-down Chopper to get stable output voltage to sudden change of load current. To confirm the characteristicsof a presented load current feed -forward compensator compared each transfer function of whole system that load current feed-forward compensator is added with transfer function of whole system that existent voltage controller is included using Mason gains formula in Root locus and Bode diagram. As a result the pole of system is improved, extreme point of the wave and system improves, and size of peak value and phase margin of break frequency in resonance frequency confirmed that is good. Therefore, presented control technique could confirm that reduce influence by perturbation and improves stationary state and dynamic characteristics in output of Step-down Chopper.

  • Escherichia coli has two catalases, HPI and HPII. HPI is induced during logarithmic growth in response to low concentrations of hydrogen peroxide. This induction is OxyR-dependent. On the other hand, HPII is not peroxide-inducible but is induced in entry to the stationary phase. We demonstrate here that E. coli displayed higher HPI catalase activity when compared to the cultures that were grown in a normal medium, if grown in a medium supplemented with iron-citrate. Iron supplementation had no effect on HPII catalase. This increase of HPI activity was OxyR-independent and not observed in a ${\Delta}fur$ mutant. The physiological significance of the increase of HPI activity is unclear, but it appears that the katG gene that codes for HPI catalase is among the genes that are regulated by Fur.

  • A gradient LC/MS system was constructed and applied for separation of biological samples. For example, a rapid and simple analytical method without pretreatment based on gradient ${\mu}LC/MS$ with a disposable microcolumn has been developed to determine B group vitamins in urine. Urine samples were directly injected to the disposable home-made microcolumn. The microcolumn can be emptied after being used for a series of urine samples, and repacked with fresh stationary phase. An overdose of vitamin pills were swallowed by healthy volunteers and the urine samples were taken 1,2,3,5, and 8 hours after swallowing. Vitamins immediately showed up in urine, hit the maximum, and disappeared swiftly. This technique is expected to have some application for clinical purposes.
