마그네틱 헤드 슬라이더의 극소 공기막에 대한 동특성 해석 (Dynamic analysis of magnetic head slider at ultra low clearance)

  • 본 연구에서는 공기분자간 평균 자유비형거리(molecular mean free path)를 고려한 수정된 레이놀즈 방정식을 공기막 두께의 미소 교란항에 대하여 전개하여 비선 형 정적 평형방정식과 교란 미분방ㄹ정식을 구하였다. 비선형 정적 평형방정식을 슬 라이더의 정량적인 거동형태를 표시하므로 이를 이용하여 슬라이더의 정적특성을 구할 수 있다. 이에 반하여, 동적 교란미분 방정식은 슬라이더의 간극함수에 대한 각종 교란에 의하여 유발되는 반발압력을 정성적으로 나타내므로, 슬라이더의 외부교란에 대한 응답특성 및 자기복원특성 등을 구할 수 있다. 이러한 특성을 서스펜션에 부착 된 헤드 시스템의 운동방정식에 함께 고려하여 시스템의 동적 특성을 해석하고 슬라이 더의 설계변수가 이에 미치는 영향을 고찰하고저 한다.

기둥(Post)과 핵(Core)의 이종재료 조합에 의한 치아의 유한요소해석 (A Finite Element Analysis of Incisors with Different Material Combinations of a Post and a Core)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of rigidity of post core systems on stress distribution by the finite element stress analysis method. Three-dimensional finite element models simulating an endodontically treated maxillary central incisor restored with a zirconia crown were prepared. Each model contained cortical bone, trabecular bone, periodontal ligament, 4mm apical root canal filling, and post-and-core. A 50N static occlusal load was applied to the palatal surface of the crown with a $60^{\circ}$ angle to the long axis of the tooth. And three parallel type post (zirconia, glass fiber and stainless steel) and two core (Paracore and Tetric ceram) materials were evaluated, respectively. The differences in stress transfer characteristics of the models were analyzed. von Mises stresses were chosen for presentation of results and maximum displacement and hydrostatic pressure were also calculated. For the Result of the research, the model applied glass fiber to post material has lowest von Mises stress and it is suitable for material of post core systems.

원형동심관내 선회유동의 열전달에 대한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on Heat Transfer with Swirling Flow in a Cylindrical Annuli)

  • Experimental investigations were conducted to study the characteristics of turbulent swirling flow in an axisymmetric annuli. Swirl angle measurements were performed using a flow visualization technique using smoke and dye liquid for Re=60,00080,000. Using the two-dimensional particle image velocimetry method, we found the time-mean velocity distribution and turbulent intensities in water with swirl for Re=20,000, 30,000, and 40,000 along longitudinal sections. Neutral points occurred for equal axial velocity at y/(R-r)=0.70.75, and the highest axial velocity was recorded near y/(R-r)=0.9. Negative axial velocity was observed near the convex tube along X/(D-d)=3~23. Another experimental study was performed to investigate heat transfer characteristics of turbulent swirling flow in an axisymmetric annuli. Static pressure, and local flow temperature were measured using tangential inlet condition and the friction factors and Nusselt number were calculated for several Reynolds numbers.

MCV용 IMV개발을 위한 기초설계 (Basic Design for Development of IMV for MCV)

  • Construction machinery is used to improve productivity in civil engineering work and construction work, and it is a lengthy operation, and consumes considerable fuel to cope with large loads. As a result, productivity and fuel consumption of the construction machine become the main deciding factors. In the hydraulic system of the excavator, the main control valve is the most critical position for control. The flow distribution for control performance is achieved by the metering orifice, that causes critical energy loss. To improve this, we propose a combination of a three port proportional pressure reducing valve and a poppet type flow control valve as an IMV to replace the existing spool type MCV. To validate the proposal, we analyze static characteristics by modeling mathematically, and analyze dynamic characteristics. Simulation using the AMESim software on the regeneration circuit of the boom cylinder up-down operation, verifies the energy-saving effect compared to the existing MCV when IMV is used.

  • In this study, Mooney-Rivlin 1st model and Mooney-Rivlin 3rd model are adopted as strain energy density functions of the rubber compounds of a radial tire. It is shown that the FE analysis using Mooney-Rivlin models for rubber compounds may provide good approximations by employing the appropriate strain range of experimental stress-strain data in a way to describe the stress-strain relationship accurately. Especially, Mooney-Rivlin 3rd model gives an accurate stress-strain relationship regardless of the fitting strain range used within the strain of 100%. The static nonlinear FE analysis of a tire inflation is performed by employing an axisymmetric model, which shows that the outside shapes of the tire before and after inflating the tire agree well with those of the real tire. Additionally, the deformations at crown center and turning point on sidewall, distribution of belt cord force, interlaminar shear strain are predicted in terms of variation of belt cord angle which is known as the most influential factor in inflation behavior of a tire.

  • Vacuum interrupters in order to be used in various switch-gear components such as circuit breakers, distribution switches, contactors, etc. spread the arc uniformly over the surface of the contacts. The electrodes of vacuum interrupters are made of sinter-forged Cu-Cr materials for good electrical and mechanical characteristics. Since the closing velocity is 1-2m/s and impact deformation of the electrode depends on the strain rate at that velocity, the dynamic behavior of the sinter-forged Cu-Cr is a key to investigate the impact characteristics of the electrodes. The dynamic response of the material at the high strain rate is obtained from the split Hopkinson pressure bar test using disc-type specimens. Experimental results from both quasi-static and dynamic compressive tests are Interpolated to construct the Johnson-Cook model as the constitutive relation that should be applied to simulation of the dynamic behavior of the electrodes. The impact characteristics of a vacuum interrupter are investigated with computer simulations by changing the value of five parameters such as the initial velocity of a movable electrode, the added mass of a movable electrode, the wipe spring constant, initial offset of a wipe spring and the virtual fixed spring constant.

동적자세와 피부분절을 이용한 기능성 밀착의복 제작 프로세스 (Engineering design process of tight-fit sportswear using 3D information of dermatomes and skin deformation in dynamic posture)

  • The primary goal of this study was to provide a systematic methodology of utilizing 3D technology for tight-fit performance sportswear using information of skin deformation in various posture. Technical tools used in this study are Cyberware whole body scanner, RapidForm2004, 2C-AN 3D pattern development program, and YukaCAD. Analysis of the 3D skin deformation while knee joint was bent from $0^{\circ}$ to $60^{\circ}$ revealed that the length of dermatomes L4 was remained consistent during knee bending. Therefore, L4 was chosen as a major cutting line. To develop a highly ergonomic pattern, replicas of static and dynamic postures were developed and integrated using two methods, one is morphing method (Sqirlz Morph), and the other is AutoCAD. Experimental tight-fit garments called 'Derm-Mov Pattern' was designed using dematomes L4, L2, and inner line under knee and compared with four other patterns. As results, AutoCAD was appropriate as a integrating method of various postures. In wear test, 'Derm-Mov Pattern' was rated high (p < .001), in terms of pressure comfort especially around front crotch area. However, wear sensation was not signipicantly different in other area due to highly extensible property of materials. Pressure distribution was relatively even in these experimental garments.

구리-크롬 소결단조 합금의 크롬 함유량 변화에 따른 동적 물성특성 (Dynamic Material Property of the Sinter-Forged Cu-Cr Alloys with the Variation of Chrome Content)

  • Vacuum interrupters are used in various switch-gear components such as circuit breakers, distribution switches, contactors. The electrodes of a vacuum interrupter are manufactured of sinter-forged Cu-Cr material for good electrical and mechanical characteristics. Since the closing velocity is 1-2m/s and impact deformation of the electrode depends on the strain-rate at the given velocity, the dynamic material property of the sinter-forged Cu-Cr alloy is important to design the vacuum interrupter reliably and to identify the impact characteristics of a vacuum interrupter accurately. This paper is concerned with the dynamic material properties of sinter-forged Cu-Cr alloy for various strain rates. The amount of chrome is varied from 10 wt% to 30 wt% in order to investigate the influence of the chrome content on the dynamic material property. The high speed tensile test machine is utilized in order to identify the dynamic property of the Cu-Cr alloy at the intermediate strain-rate and the split Hopkinson pressure bar is used at the high strain-rate. Experimental results from both the quasi-static and the high strain-rate up to the 5000/sec are interpolated with respect to the amount of chrome in order to construct the Johnson-Cook and the modified Johnson-Cook model as the constitutive relation that should be applied to numerical simulation of the impact behavior of electrodes.

실기체급 비행체 모델에 대한 M4 준자유류 시험 (M4 Semi-Freejet Test with Full-scale Vehicle Model)

  • 국내 설비를 활용하여 실기체급 비행체 모델에 대한 M4 준자유류 시험을 수행하였다. 시험장치 및 비행체 모델은 반복적인 전산유체해석을 통해 통합적으로 설계/제작되었고, 해당 설비를 목표 시험 조건까지 가동하여 시험장치의 M4 노즐이 완전히 팽창하는 것을 확인하였다. 비행체 모델의 흡입구 주변의 가시화 영상을 획득하여 경사충격파가 생성되면서 비행체의 흡입구가 시동하는 것을 관측하였다. 비행체의 가변노즐을 구동하여 배압을 조절하면서 비행체 내부 유로의 벽면 압력 분포를 획득하였고, 연소기 내 화염안정화장치에서 점화용 토치 점화 및 점화보조제의 연소 현상을 관측하였다.

농용트랙터 보호구조물 사용실태 및 좌석벨트 편이성 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on Improving the Tractor ROPS and Seatbelt use of Korean Farmers)

  • This study was performed to improve the utilization of the ROPS and seatbelt of tractors in Korea. We surveyed the ROPS and seatbelt use and the tractor related accidents through the personal interviews for 141 farmers. And comfort test for tractor seatbelts is done for 4 different subjects by measuring the body pressure distribution. The survey showed that 79.3% of the tractor accidents was overturning accidents. And, in case the tractor has ROPS and seatbelt, there was no serious injuries. With this results, we could confirm that ROPS and seatbelt is very effective devices for protecting drivers in overturning accidents. But, in case farmers didn't wear seatbelt, there was some fatal injuries. This shows the importance of the seatbelt use in working and driving tractors. Therefore, we tested the comfort of the tractor seatbelt for 4 different subjects operating the pedal in tractor seat simulator and in the tractor running on various roads. From the results of the static test in the Lab, it was shown that more the seatbelt anchorage point is far form SIP point, more the body pressure of the belly became higher, and more the subjects feel uncomfortable. Not only in the static test in the simulator, but also in the dynamic test in riding tractors, it was shown that non retractable seatbelt was more uncomfortable than retractable seatbelt. According to this study, we concluded that we need to promote the utilization of the ROPS and seatbelt use. And, the non retractable seatbelt need to be replaced by retractable seatbelt. Also, we recommend that the seatbelt anchorage position should to be in the seatbelt anchorage area of the ISO 3776 standard.
