  • Shokri et al. [14] proved the Hyers-Ulam stability of bihomomorphisms and biderivations by using the direct method. It is easy to show that the definition of biderivations on normed 3-Lie algebras is meaningless and so the results of [14] are meaningless. In this paper, we correct the definition of biderivations and the statements of the results in [14], and prove the corrected theorems.

  • The state machine synthesizer is widely used to FSM synthesis. In this paper, we developed the state machine description language "state CHDL" such as IF, THEN, ELSE, SWITCH, CASE statements. Also, an algorithm for efficient state minimization and two level minimizer of FSM and graphical user interface-pin map window, supporting the designer with input-ouput effency, are presented.

  • In a car accident in Kyongju, each of the two occupants insisted that he was not driving the car. The accident was investigated to determine who the driver is through careful review of the collision report, the statements of accident and witness, photographs taken at the scene, and the expert report of the National Institute of Scientific Investigation. The accident was reconstructed based on the physical principles, injuries of occupants, damages of the involved vehicles and their final stops. A mistake was found in the expert report.

  • The article is devoted to mathematical modeling of prob-lems of stochastic optimization of the plastic metal working. Classifi-cation and mathematical statements of such problems are proposed. Several calculation techniques of the single goal function are pre-sented. The probability theory and the Fuzzy numbers were applied for solution of the problems of stochastic optimization.

  • Recently Ding [4, 5, 8] gives examples of his FC-spaces which are not L-spaces due to Ben-El-Mechaiekh et al. [1]. We show that they are actually L-spaces. We also clarify that all statements in [5] can be stated in corrected and generalized forms for the class of abstract convex spaces beyond FC-spaces.

  • In this paper, we first seek the equivalent statements with averaging properties in terms of the regular summability method, secondly define some new averaging properties and study their implications. Finally, we investigate the question of what property is dual to the Banach-Saks property suggested by C. Seifert.

  • Two principally different statements of the problem of stable numerical differentiation are considered. It is analyzed when it is possible in principle to get a stable approximation to the derivative ${\Large f}'$ given noisy data ${\Large f}_{\delta}$. Computational aspects of the problem are discussed and illustrated by examples. These examples show the practical value of the new understanding of the problem of stable differentiation.

  • This paper investigates the semantics of English there existential sentences. By examining discourse functions and pragmatic facts, it accounts for semantic facts which have not been discussed elsewhere. Further, it is a new attempt to incorporate information-theoretic notions into formal semantics. I propose that existential statements as expressing Austinian propositions. The proposed meanings account for the fact that post-copular NPs cannot constitute the restruction of an adverb of quantification nor admit a partitive reading.

  • A microprocessor for the dedicated purpose of digital filtering has been designed and constructed. A microsequencer to control the flowing of data is designed with the concept of a hardware compiler of AHPI, statements. In order to save the processing time, this system utilizes parallel data calculation method instead of the one proposed by Peled and Liu which depended on serial calculation method. The flexible program control technique has been applied to the implementation of the sepcialprocessor for the digital signal processing.

  • For a ring R of imaginary quadratic integers, using a concept of a unitary number system in place of the Motzkin's universal side divisor, we show that the following statements are equivalent: (1) R is Euclidean. (2) R has a unitary number system. (3) R is norm-Euclidean. Through an application of the above theorem we see that R admits binary or ternary number systems if and only if R is Euclidean.
