  • The current software industry has an emerging issue with natural language-based requirement specifications. However, the accuracy of such requirement analysis remains a concern. It is noted that most errors still occur at the requirement specification stage. Defining and analyzing requirements based on natural language has become necessary. To address this issue, the linguistic theories of Chomsky and Fillmore are applied to the analysis of natural language-based requirements. This involves identifying the semantics of morphemes and nouns. Consequently, a mechanism was proposed for extracting object state designs and automatically generating code templates. Building on this mechanism, I suggest generating natural language-based comic images. Utilizing state diagrams, I apply changes to the states of comic characters (protagonists) and extract variations in their expressions. This introduces a novel approach to comic image generation. I anticipate highly productive comic creation by applying software processes to Cartoon ART.

  • The aim of this paper is to briefly consider the present state regarding Korean language education for multicultural family members, and to consider the outcomes produced so far. Married woman immigrants and their children must be one of the most significant groups for Korean language education in terms of their huge number and their roles and meanings in Korean society. In order to uplift the Korean communicative ability for multicultural family members, an effective operating system for Korean language education is needed, and also live and efficient Korean language instruction must be given by capable Korean language teachers with adequate teaching materials. A customized Korean language education must also be offered based on researches about the characteristics of multicultural family members as "Korean language learners". Korean language education for married woman immigrants has almost been set up in some extent, in terms of teaching materials and the teacher training system. Therefore, an efficient operating system must be constructed so that the developed teaching materials can be actively utilized in the site of Korean language education. A periodical retraining of Korean language teachers for multicultural family members is also necessary for the improvement of Korean language teaching efficiency. However, Korean language education for multicultural children is still in its infancy due to its late start-up. By the support of the Korean government, the curriculum of Korean language education has recently been fixed, KSL text books are being developed, and a diagnostic tool for evaluating their Korean language ability is now in progress. Many continuing concerns and support must still be provided for the improvement of their Korean language ability and fostering them as competitive and capable of speaking Korean.

  • The purpose of this paper is to seek the development direction of the studies on improving of broadcasting language, by examining the fruits and the limitations of existing research. Firstly, this paper makes sure that the study on improving of broadcasting language is one of the subtypes of study on broadcasting language. Then the current state of the studies on improving of broadcasting language is analyzed by genre, problem, and assessment standard. According to this analysis, existing research is concentrated too much in certain genres such as current affairs and news, but also in certain problems such as accuracy or publicness infractions. Finally, this paper concludes by suggesting three development directions of the future studies on improving of broadcasting language as follows: (1) Accuracy or publicness related problems need no more studies on themselves but continuous and systematic monitoring and institutional device. (2) We need more interest and research on language used in certain genres such as TV home shopping and commercial break. (3) Fairness or soundness related problems need more studies on themselves, because the judgement or assessment standard of these problems is not only difficult to find out, but also in need of viewer and listener awareness investigation and social agreement procedure.

  • Despite of various useful features, functional languages do not provide an efficient way of representing states. To improve expressiveness of functional language, it is required a method representing explicit state without violating of functional semantic properties. In this paper, imperative functional language, $\lambda$st-calculus is designed to represent states without compromising the properties of pure functional languages. And we construct an algorithm to reduce proposed imperative functional language. $\lambda$st-calculus model which is an extension of the $\lambda$-calculus model with explicit state constructor without violating their semantic properties. it improves expressiveness of syntax through a concept of state composition and simplified reduction rules.

  • It is relatively easy to develop a prototype of a Korean language processing system, but it is very difficult to make it an operational system. In this paper, we survey the current status and methodological issues of the Korean language processing systems such as morphological analyzer, parser and machine translator. In most cases, Korean language processing system easily comes to a dead-end state where its performance can not be improved any more. The reason is that it adopts a general algorithm covering similar problems as a whole because specific low-level problems are not clearly defined and their algorithms are unclear. So, when we add some restrictions to solve an individual linguistic problem, they are also applied to other linguistic phenomena as a side effect. It causes a critical problem that the improvement of the algorithm is very difficult. This paper proposes a 2-step paradigm, a divide-and-conquer method by the functional modularization, a simplification method, and an exception handling technique to develop an operational system that does not fall into a dead-end state.

  • At the present stage, the main directions of the professional position of a specialist in the implementation of English-language Education are to improve and spread the practice of learning languages throughout a person's life by involving information, communication and digital technologies in the educational process. Computerization of the educational process in Higher Education Institutions is considered as one of the first and most promising areas for improving the quality of education in Higher Education Institutions. The necessity of ensuring timely training and retraining of specialists of various profiles (in particular teachers) on the effective use of domestic and foreign electronic resources with the help of modern information technologies for the implementation of the professional position of a future specialist in a foreign-language environment is noted. The main goal of teaching a foreign language (the formation of students' communicative competence, which means mastering the language as a means of intercultural communication) is defined. The types of speech activity that cover the content of teaching a foreign language are highlighted. The main types of assessment in a foreign language are shown - current (non-classroom), thematic, semester, annual assessment and final state certification. The task of the teacher is drawn, which is to create conditions for practical language acquisition for each student, to choose such teaching methods by means of information technologies that would allow each student to show their activity, their creativity; to activate the cognitive activity of the student in the process of learning a foreign language.

  • The Nagorno-Karabakh region, which belonged to Azerbaijan SSR during the Soviet period declared its independence as the Republic of Artsakh in 1991. Currently, the region is internationally regarded as Azerbaijani territory, but in reality it is a part of Armenia. Therefore, Armenian language policies are applied, and Armenian language is defined as a state language. Even though the Azerbaijani population of Nagorno-Karabakh and the number of Azerbaijani speakers have increased during the Soviet period, the Armenians have not learned and used Azerbaijani language. This becomes the basis for Russian language to maintain its solid position as a lingua franca in the Nagorno-Karabakh region. Also, Russian language is a required subject for all Artsakh's higher education institutions, secondary and general education institutions just like in Armenia. It is because the Azerbaijan war from 1991 to 1994 was virtually supported by Russia, and Armenia recognized Russia as its most important volunteer and protector. In the Republic of Armenia, Russian is regarded as a language of communication among ethnic minorities, and the use of Russian language continues to be active.

  • A synthesis system generating sequential circuits from a high-level hardware descdription language CHDL, modelling language for Thor functional/behavioral simulator, is developed. In this paper, we describe the semantic analysis process, state minimization and state assignment algorithms. proposed assignment algorithm generates optimal state vectors using constraint matrix and similarity graph. Expremental results for MCNC benchmarks, standard test circuits, show that the system inplementing the proposed algorithms can be a viable tool for designing large finite state machines.

  • The sign language is a method of communication for deaf person. For sign communication, sign language and manual alphabet are used continuously. In this paper is proposed a system which recognize Korean sign language(KSL) and Korean manual alphabet(KMA) continuously. For recognizing KSL and KMA, basic elements for sign language, namely, the 14 hand directions, 23 hand postures, and 14 hand orientations are used. At first, this system recognize current motion state using speed and change of speed in motion by state automata. Using state, basic element classifiers using Fuzzy Min-Max Neural Network and Fuzzy Rule are executed. Meaning of signed gesture is selected by using basic elements which was recognized.
