The leukemia is caused by with abnormal changes of the hemotopoietic cell and in the various neoplasm group which occurs from lymph organization and the bone marrow occurs disrupts immigrates toward the blood of circumference and a hemotopoiesis and the arm discouragement royal tomb and is a disease which infiltrates with the organization. Western medical diagnosis and classification and presents eastern medicinal demonstration which is confronted in him about the leukemia, eastern medicinal diagnosis and treatment the clinical dissertation against precisely, saw and dissertation precisely tried about leukemia therapeutic effect of the herbal extract, last from conclusion like this dissertation precisely in the base which tries groped the direction of eastern medicinal treatment method research about the leukemia. Eastern medicine approach led about diagnosis and treatment of the leukemia and with leukemia treatment the medical herb which the eastern medicine possesses in development and room sacrifice an eastern medicine theory and the false eye presented the drug which is therapeutic possibility and they presented. The eastern medicine demonstration and therapeutic method is showing the therapeutic ratio which is effective about the leukemia. But according to the patient does a about prescription and therapeutic method differently and the room my composition is complicated and clinical day is consistent decides upon a reproducibility and a therapeutic ratio with difficult point of accumulation, with standardization of therapeutic method has the difficult point of supply. In treatment of the leukemia demonstrates a nature of a disease consequently with theory of eastern medicine and appropriately prescribes endeavors raises a therapeutic ratio and the medical herb and room proposal remedial value, under verifying reveals the clinical trial which is standardized leads and the medical herb and a room sacrifice and the verification and supply of effect and safety are necessary.

Periodontitis, an infective disease caused by oral pathogens and the intrinsic aging process, results in the destruction of periodontal tissues and the loss of alveolar bone. This study investigated whether Boesenbergia pandurata extract (BPE) standardized with panduratin A exerted anti-periodontitis effects, using an aging model representative of naturally occurring periodontitis. In aged rats, the oral administration of BPE ($200mg{\cdot}kg^{-1}{\cdot}day^{-1}$) for 8 weeks significantly reduced the mRNA and protein expression of $interleukin-1{\beta}$, nuclear factor-kappa B, matrix metalloproteinase (MMP)-2, and MMP-8 in gingival tissues (p < 0.01). In alveolar bone, histological analysis with staining and micro-computed tomography revealed the attenuation of alveolar bone resorption in the BPE-treated aged group, which led to a significant reduction in the mRNA and protein expression of nuclear factor of activated T-cells c1 (NFATc1), c-Fos, tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase, and cathepsin K (p < 0.01). BPE not only increased the expression of osteoblast differentiation markers, such as alkaline phosphate, and collagen type I (COL1A1), but also increased the ratio of osteoprotegerin to RANKL. Collectively, the results strongly suggested that BPE is a natural resource for the prevention or treatment of periodontal diseases.
In Oriental medicine, the status of a tongue is the important indicator to diagnose the condition of internal organs in a body. A tongue diagnosis is not only convenient but also non-invasive, and therefore widely used in Oriental medicine. But tongue diagnosis has some problems that should be objective and standardized, it also exhaust the diagnosis tool that can help for oriental medicine doctor's decision-making. In this paper, to solve the this problem we propose a method that calculates the tongue geometry information for effective tongue diagnosis analysis. Our method is to extract the tongue region for using improved snake algorithm, and calculates the geometry information by using convex hull and In-painting. In experiment, our method has stable performance as 7.2% by tooth plate and 8.5% by crack in region difference ratio.
Fumaria indica Linn. (Syn: Fumaria parviflora, Fumariaceae) is a wildly grown weed, mentioned and recommended in classical Ayurvedic texts for treatments of variety of ailments including dermatological diseases, topical diseases, cardiovascular complaints, circulatory disease, fever and headache etc. The present pilot study was designed to experimentally verify the possibility that fumarates are the major bioactive principles of Fumaria indica extracts involved in their stress response modulating activities, and to estimate pharmacologicallyactive dose ranges of fumarates and standardized methanolic extract of Fumaria indica (MFI). Effect of single, 5 and 10 daily oral doses of pure fumaric acid (FA), monomethyl fumarate (MMF), dimethyl fumarate (DMF) and MFI was quantified in well validated rodent models viz. apomorphine induced cage climbing, stress induced hyperthermia, and elevated plus-maze tests. Obtained results reveal high efficacy of MFI and pure fumarates possess qualitatively analogous activity profiles in all the three tests. There were no significant difference in the potencies of pure FA, MMF and DMF in the three tests, whereas efficacy of MFI in the elevated plus maze test for anxiolytics was higher than in the other two tests. Efficacies of all the four test agents in all the three tests increased with increasing number of days of oral treatments. Results of these pilot experiments should be helpful for more rational selections of pharmacologically interesting dose ranges and treatment regimens of fumarates and Fumaria indica extracts for further more holistic explorations of their diverse therapeutic potentials.
A non-invasive respiratory gated radiotherapy system like those based on external anatomic motion gives better comfortableness to patients than invasive system on treatment. However, higher correlation between the external and internal anatomic motion is required to increase the effectiveness of non-invasive respiratory gated radiotherapy. Both of invasive and non-invasive methods need to track the internal anatomy with the higher precision and rapid response. Especially, the non-invasive method has more difficulty to track the target position successively because of using only image processing. So we developed the system to track the motion for a non-invasive respiratory gated system to accurately find the dynamic position of internal structures such as the diaphragm and tumor. The respiratory organ motion tracking apparatus consists of an image capture board, a fluoroscopy system and a processing computer. After the image board grabs the motion of internal anatomy through the fluoroscopy system, the computer acquires the organ motion tracking data by image processing without any additional physical markers. The patients breathe freely without any forced breath control and coaching, when this experiment was performed. The developed pattern-recognition software could extract the target motion signal in real-time from the acquired fluoroscopic images. The range of mean deviations between the real and acquired target positions was measured for some sample structures in an anatomical model phantom. The mean and max deviation between the real and acquired positions were less than 1mm and 2mm respectively with the standardized movement using a moving stage and an anatomical model phantom. Under the real human body, the mean and maximum distance of the peak to trough was measured 23.5mm and 55.1mm respectively for 13 patients' diaphragm motion. The acquired respiration profile showed that human expiration period was longer than the inspiration period. The above results could be applied to respiratory-gated radiotherapy.

Objectives: We performed simultaneous determination of five constituents by HPLC in Samul-tang (SMT). Additionally, we investigated the immune-stimulatory potential of SMT on specific cellular and humoral immune responses in ovalbumin (OVA)-immunized mice. Methods: Reverse-phase chromatography using a Gemini C18 column operating at $40^{\circ}C$, and photodiode array (PDA) detection at 190-400 nm, were used for quantification of the five components of SMT. Mobile phase using a gradient flow consisted of two solvent systems. Solvent A was 1.0% (v/v) aqueous acetic acid and solvent B was acetonitrile with 1.0% (v/v) acetic acid. C57BL/6 mice were immunized intraperitoneally with OVA/alum ($100{\mu}g/200{\mu}g$) on days 1, 8, and 15. The extract of SMT (1000 mg/kg) was given to mice orally for 21 days (from day 1 to day 21). At day 22, OVA-, lipopolysaccharide (LPS)- and concanavalin A (Con A)-stimulated splenocyte proliferation and OVA-specific and total antibodies were measured in plasma. Results: Calibration curves were acquired with $r^2$>0.9999, and the relative standard deviation (RSD, %) for intra- and inter-day precision were both less than 3.5%. The recovery was in the range of 95.69-115.12%, with an RSD less than 6.0%. The contents of five components in SMT were 1.08-15.30 mg/g. SMT significantly enhanced Con A-induced splenocyte proliferation in OVA-immunized mice (p<0.01). Also, SMT significantly enhanced OVAspecific IgG, IgG1 and total IgM levels in plasma compared with the OVA-immunized group. Conclusions: The established method will be applied for the quantification of major components and immunestimulating activity in OVA-immunized mouse model of SMT.
A systematic analysis of 18 stimulants and narcotic analgesics containing nitrogen atom (s) in human urine by gas chromatography with nitrogen phosphorus detector (GC-NPD), is described. The urinary extract with diethyl ether at pH 8.5 showed good recoveries of the drugs and less interference peaks on GC chromatogram. Retention data were standardized by the calculation of relative retention times using diphenylamine as the internal standard. The relative standard deviations of retention times were less than 0.1% for the within-run analyses. The response factor (RRF) of a drug relative to the internal standard was calculated. RRF decreased with increasing number of nitrogen atoms. This technique can be adapted to various analytical toxicology problems.

The large portion of communication service areas move from a legacy wire-line voice service to mobile data service. For the purpose of satisfaction on market need, many communication systems should be installed and upgraded based on a mobile wide-band transmission facility. Recently, large part of communication service is based on internet protocol by packet switch techniques and required new technologies such as multimedia processing, QoS achievement, and mobility managememobile communication network such as IS-95A/B and CDMA2000-1X. In this paper, I analyzed the network architecture and service provision methods. in CDMA2000-1X nt. In korea, a CDMA communication technique is standardized for digital mobile communication systems. By using the analysed results, I will extract an efficient method for network evolution and a core technique for next generation mobile communication network.
In the present studies, decursinol angelate, decursin isolated from Angelica gignatis radix and oil fraction of Cnidii rhizoma was analyzed by normal phase HPLC and GC/MS respectively. The standardized water extracts of Angelica gignatis radix, Cnidii rhizoma and its complex named Gung-gui-tang was tested the anti mutagenic effects by in vitro genotoxicity using Salmonella reversion assay (Ames test) and micronucleus test in chinese hamster ovary(CHO) cells. Angelica gignatis radix, Cnidii rhizoma and Gung-gui-tang was not exhibited the antimutagenic effects in the Salmonella reversion assays with or without metabolic activation. However, the micronucleus test assays, Angelica gignatis radix and Gung-gui-tang was showed the antimutagenic effects significantly. The maximum inhibition observed with Gung-gui-tang was reduced by 59% in the micronucleus test without metabolic activation. In this paper, results are presented on the availability of potential antimutagenic activity of the water extracts of Gung-gui-tang.
Objectives : Bilobalide (BIL) is a predominant sesquiterpene trilactone constituent that accounts for a partial portion of the standardized Ginkgonis Folium extract, which has been widely used to treat a variety of neurological disorders involving cerebral ischemia and neurodegeneration. In this study, it was tested whether BIL exhibits anti-inflammatory activities on inflammation response, or not. Methods : To elucidate the molecular mechanisms of BIL on pharmacological and biochemical actions in inflammation, we examined the effect of BIL on pro-inflammatory mediators in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-stimulated macrophages. The investigation was focused on how BIL affect on inflammation-related mediators including various signals such as nitric oxide (NO), prostaglandin $E_2$ ($PGE_2$), inducible NO synthase(iNOS), cyclooxygenase-2(COX-2), interleukin-6(IL-6), tumor necrosis $factor-{\alpha}$ ($TNF-{\alpha}$), mitogen-activated protein kinases(MAPKs) and nuclear factor kappa-light-chain-enhancer of activated B cells ($NF-{\kappa}B$) in LPS-stimulated RAW 264.7 cells. Results : We found that BIL inhibited LPS-induced NO, $PGE_2$, IL-6 and $TNF-{\alpha}$ productions as well as the expressions of iNOS and COX-2. Furthermore, BIL suppressed the LPS-induced phosphorylation for MAPK activation. Conclusions : These results suggest that BIL has inhibitory effects on LPS-induced $PGE_2$, NO, IL-6 and $TNF-{\alpha}$ production, as well as the expressions of iNOS and COX-2 in the murine macrophage. It seems that these inhibitory effects occur by blocking the phosphorylation of MAPKs for activation. Then, BIL suppressed the activation of nuclear factor $NF-{\kappa}B$ in nucleus. These observations suggest that BIL has anti-inflammatory effect by inhibiting.
