DFSS에 의한 FPD용 높이 조절기구 설계 (Design of Height Adjustment Mechanism for Flat Panel Display by DFSS)

  • This study was carried out to minimize the lifting force and to design the slim sized frame of a height adjustment mechanism. This unit is designed for the display devices in order to enhance the ergonomics for effective height adjustment as well as to achieve much slimmer frame for the pedestal. A tolerance analysis of 6 sigma was applied to achieve smooth lift at design stage not to change the tolerance specification of gap several times in a roller type of lifting mechanism at mass production stage. The specification of minimum gap and the target of production yield ratio were agreed with a quality team before tooling. A DFSS simulation on drawings had been done with reasonable tolerance and achievable standard deviation(${\sigma}$) several times until the target specification of gap and yield ratio was met. Once tolerance and deviation(${\sigma}$) were fixed tooling start was done successfully. A CAE method was applied to achieve a slim design. Design parameters were frozen when those parameters matched the reference strength data of standard model. Through those tolerance analysis and CAE simulation the number of tool modification was reduced and production yield ratio was raised up without arguing quality specification at production stage in the end.

해양 환경하 콘크리트 교량의 탄산화 내구성능 평가 인자 도출을 위한 현장조사 연구 (Field Research for the Durability Assessment Factor for deriving the Carbonation of Concrete Bridges in the Marine Environment)

  • In this study, on the basis of the results of the field survey and the theoretical consideration for Korean Standard Specification for concrete durability and maintenance, the following conclusions are derived. From the survey, the prediction equation of carbonation depth for the southwest region in Korea is experimentally proposed, $y_p=5.865{\sqrt{t}}$, which predicts about 60mm of the carbonation depth for the concrete structures of 100 years, a 1st class of target endurance period, under a combined deterioration environment like a marine environment. Considering that the marginal value for a carbonation depth limitation under very severely marine environment is 25mm, in accordance with the Specification, it is found that the predicting carbonation depth for the concrete cover depths, 100mm and 60mm are 63mm and 29.4mm, respectively. In conclusion, according to the equation and the Specification, it is strongly required that the reinforced concrete structures with the cover depth under 100mm have to make a protection from combined deterioration factors by any methods like a surface coating, an increment of cover depth or an application of a special concrete.

  • There are two types of mold parts, ready-made standard parts and ETO (Engineered-to-Order) parts, the latter are of increasing importance to manufacturers. However, the ETO parts require more engineering support and communication than the ready-made standard parts. Existing e-Catalog modules provide classification structures of products that allow customers to select products based on their needs, and the trade begins with the provided specification. However, machine parts or mold parts have different purchasing patterns. Customers do not purchase the ready-made standard parts offered by an e-Catalog. They usually (1) add own options to the provided specifications or (2) change specification items such as length. To support these trades, a new e-Catalog system is proposed. The proposed system is based on the product design process and the specification selection process in addition to the parts classification structure.

객체모델에 대한 형식명세로의 변환 방법 (The Translation Method to formal specification of Object Model)

  • 본 논문에서는 정확한 분석 모델을 제시하기 위해서 객체 모델을 정의하고, 이 모델을 정형화와 표준화에 필요한 형식명세로 변환하는 방법을 제안한다. VDM 형식으로 변환된 모델은 정확성, 일관성, 완전성을 제공할 수 있다. 증명의 대상인 VDM 명세에서 오류가 발생한다면 초기 객체 모델 단계에 적용하여 객체 모델의 검증이 가능하다. 검증된 객체 모델을 설계 단계의 기반 명세로 사용하므로 추후 개발 단계의 비용과 노력을 최소화하고 객체 모델 선택의 정확성을 높일 수 있다.

전통수제기와 규격에 관한 고증 연구 (A Historical Study on the Specifications of Traditional Handmade Roof-tile)

  • The purpose of this study is to retrospect the establishment process of specification of modern factory-made traditional Korean roof-tile. Its another purpose is to analyze the specification of watong(瓦桶, a wooden molding frame for roof tile making) which is recorded in the literature of Joseon dynasty. The results of this study are as follows. : First, the specification of modern factory-made Korean roof-tile that currently used was established in 1978. And it did not succeed old traditional specification. Second, in case of construction or repair of main building of palace, it was a principle to use Daewa(大瓦, the big size roof-tile). And Sangwa(常瓦, the ordinary size roof-tile) was used when needed. Also, Jungwa(中瓦, the middle size roof-tile) was used regardless of the size of group building. And Sowa(小瓦, the small size roof-tile) was used in house and wall of royal tomb. Third, it is needed to establish a specification of traditional handmade roof-tile based on the specification of watong through research of the litterateur. So, a standard draft for this was proposed. Finally, one can find the significance that this study has tried to find a specification of traditional roof-tile that can be applied to construction or repair of cultural heritage.

  • The train control system is a facility to ensure safe train operation, and its safety is the most important factor for system introduction. Therefore, in order to improve practical usability in the business, safety analysis and evaluation of train control system and train control related core technologies are needed. Korea Railroad Research Institute has carried out standard development of radio-based train control system as a government research and development project. In this paper, we present a system specification of ATP, a core part of train control system, for standard system of Korean radio-based train control system(KRTCS). The paper present a operation environment and primary ATP functions, and functional requirement specifications.

표준화된 알루미늄 전동차의 개발 (Development of the Standardized Aluminum Electric Motor Car)

  • In this paper, design and construction process for the standardized electric motor car according to standard specification is described. Aluminum extrusion profiles and power and control system made domestically are used in the electric motor car. Also, plug-sliding door system for noise reduction and automatic train control system are developed and applied. Through the development of the electric motor car, most electric and control systems can be substituted by domestic standard systems, and safety and reliability of electric motor cars can be secured.

  • Proposed in this paper is a standard-compliant business process modeling tool which is based on the UML(Unified Modeling Language) activity diagram and produces an XPDL(XML Process Definition Language) file as an output. The XPDL is a standard process definition exchange format by WfMC(Workflow Management Coalition). To develop an UML/XPDL-based modeling tool, the mapping of modeling elements between activity diagram and XPDL format is conducted after the detailed analysis of each modeling specification. As a result of this mapping, it is revealed that modeling elements of each activity diagram and XPDL must be expanded. So new modeling elements are identified and added to each specification. Based on this mapping, the prototype system is developed, and the usefulness of the developed system is shown through the case study.

기술 표준 제정과 거버넌스 접근법: 전기공사 마스터 스펙 사례 (A Study of Technical Standard Making from Governance Perspective: The Case of Master Spec. in Electrical Construction)

  • For a few recent years, KECA(Korea Electrical Contractor Association) has promoted a project to establish an electrical construction specification called Master Spec. This paper analyses the characteristics of standards-making process of the Master Spec. as an umbrella technical standard in electrical construction industry in Korea. This paper argues that even if the Master Spec. is recognized to be technical standards, the standards-making process involves both technical and social practices when viewed from social construction theory and governance perspective. This aspect of social practices in technical standards making should be well understood because various stakeholders in terms of interests, resources, and motives try to influence the process positively and negatively. KECA in responsible for enactment of the Mater Spec. should be very thoughtful in building consensus first of all among electrical contractors, managing relationship with concerned government officials, and dealing with potential deviant groups as well as in pooling expertises and developing technical knowledge needed for designing technical specification.

일반·고속철도용 무선기반 열차제어시스템(KRTCS-2) 표준사양 개발 (Development of Standard Specification of Korea Radio based Train Control System(KRTCS-2) for Conventional & High Speed Railway)

  • 고속화 및 자동화 추세에 따라 열차제어시스템(TCS: Train Control System)은 유선으로 정보를 주고받는 기술에서 무선을 이용한 제어방식으로 기술이 발전되고 있으며, 무선방식도 2세대의 GSM-R에서 4세대 통신인 LTE를 적용한 LTE-R 무선통신 기술이 적용되고 있다. 따라서 무선통신(LTE-R)을 적용한 일반(250km/h이하) 고속철도(350km/h)용 열차제어시스템(KRTCS-2: Korea Radio based Train Control System-2, 이하 KRTCS-2라 함)에 적합한 표준사양(안)을 작성하고, 표준사양(안)을 기반으로 제작한 시작품을 일반열차 및 고속열차에 설치하고, 호남 고속선(정읍~익산) 및 원주-강릉선에 시험선을 구축하여 다양한 성능시험을 통해 표준사양(안)의 신뢰성 및 안전성을 확보하고자 한다. 이후 표준사양(안)은 국가 철도규격으로 제정하여 일반(광역) 고속철도 노선에 열차제어시스템을 적용함으로써 표준사양(안)이 실용화될 수 있도록 할 예정이다.
