The purpose of this study was to investigate that which symptoms are adequate indicator of the deficiency of Eum pattern in the stroke patients. In the time period Dec. 2006 to Aug. 2007, 479 patients with a first-ever stroke admitted in the department of Internal Medicine of 12 Oriental Medical Hospitals were included. Patients were hospitalized within 1 months after the onset of stroke. Stroke patients had been interviewed by resident who studied standard operation procedures in Fundamental Study for Standardization and Objectification of Differentiation and Pattern Identification of Syndrome of Oriental Medicine for Stroke. Eum-deficiency patients was confirmed by medical specialist diagnosis, resident diagnosis, case report form analysis without a dissenting voice. Deficiency of Eum group included 65 case, Non Eum group 414 case out of 479 patients. dryness of mouth, short and rapid purse, white face and reddish zygoma, mirror-like tongue were higher among Eum group. Eum and Non Eum patients do not significantly differ in reddened tongue, dryness in tongue, night sweat, palpitation, afternoon tidal heat, palmar heat, sores of the mouth or tongue. This study was insufficiency because sample size is very small. More data from prospective cohort studies will help to Korean Standard Differentiation of the Symptoms and Signs for the Stroke.

To develop the Korean Standard Differentiation of the Symptoms and sings, We investigate concordance rate of symptoms between Korean Medicine Doctors. Two Korean medicine doctor surveyed symptoms with the Korean Standard Differentiation of the symptoms and sings for the Stroke(KSDS) case report form in stroke patients within 1 month of onset. The concordance rate of inspection, auscultation and olfaction, inquiry, and pulse feeling and palpitation are respectively 0.79, 0.90, 0.91,0.80. The study of inspection, pulse feeling and palpitation will be continued to evaluate concordance rate.

This study was conducted with 193 pairs of mother-in-law and son-in-law to examine the mediating effect of marital satisfaction on the relationship between interpersonal differentiation and affectual solidarity. Using SPSS and PROCESS macro program, descriptive statistical analysis(frequency, ratio, mean, and standard deviation) and mediating effect analysis through bootstrapping were performed. The main research results are as follows. First, in the case of the son-in-law, his own marital satisfaction completely mediated the relationship between the sub-factors of interpersonal differentiation (fusion with others, emotional cutting) and affectual solidarity. Second, in the case of mother-in-law, the perceived daughter's marital satisfaction partially mediated the relationship between the sub-factors of interpersonal differentiation (connectivity, separability) and affectual solidarity. These findings suggest the functional importance of the marital system for a healthy relationship between mother-in-law and son-in-law.

The purpose of this research is to examine the university students' stress and relationship satisfaction with their mother. For this purpose , 420 students were selected in Seoul area, and data were analyzed by the statistical methods, such as the Cronbach'a coefficient, Frequency, Percentile, Arithmetic Mean, Standard Deviation, One-Way ANOVA, Peason's Corelation and stepwised Multiple Regression Analysis though SPSS win PC+. The main results are as followed: (1) University students experience stress some extent through all the areas such as communication, dating, choosing occupation, daily activity, or pocket money. But the level of stress shows lower tendency relatively. (2)Students with the lower self-differentiation perceive more stress from mother. When using avoidance coping and personnel dependence coping, the level of stress is high. (3)Several variables(problem-focused coping, self-differentiation of emotional independence, avoidance coping, communication stress, daily activity stress, and sentimental self-differentiation) significiently influence relationship satisfaction with their mother. These variables explain 52% of the satisfaction with mother.

This study suggests the dynamic pricing model which reveals the organic relationship between ASP (Application Service Provider) price and the related factors, using system dynamics methodology. Basically, we applied the law of supply and demand for analyzing price changes. Then, we deducted ASP price, focusing on fixed cost and variable cost. We also researched the customer's buying behavior according to version differentiation policy. In the version policy, we set up the proposition about customer's satisfaction and willingness-to-pay, using option system. As a result, this research designed the simulation model which analyzes the changes of the sales according to version differentiations and customer's willingness-to-pay. Through this research, we can find effective version differentiation strategies. This paper also found that the larger the number of package, the greater the demand and customer's willingness-to-pay. The increase of the number of package causes the increase of the sales. The increase of the sale is not exactly relative to the number of package. Drawing S-curve, the sales was increased. This dynamic pricing model suggests the ground that the ASP price changes based on the existing version differentiation theory and the demand of customers can affect the changes of the sales. We expect that this model suggests a clear standard of ASP pricing by combining real cases.

Objectives : This study is performed for proposing reasonable clinical study protocol at International standard clinical study of osteoarthritis of Knee Joint. Methods : We gave the eighteen oriental medicine doctors the questionnaire and the video about female patient who diagnosed Knee joint of osteoarthritis above 60 years old and they tested same patients using differentiation of symptoms and signs. Then they retested it after We educated them with diagnosis education text. Conclusion : The improvement of diagnosis agreement can be possible by developing standardized the same patients using differentiation of symptoms and by reeducation about it.

Aspergillus niger IMI 41873 was cultured by the method of synchronous and submerged culture. Its sporulation occurred in the culture. Ribonucleic acids were extracted at each stage of life cycle. These RNAs were digested, separated and determined by P.E.I. cellulose TLC and HPLC methods. The levels of ribonucleic acids in sporulating mycelia were higher than those of conidiophore and phialide forming mycelia. Inosine 5-monophosphate and adenosine 5-monophosphate derivatives were found in HPLC separations. The levels of inosine 5-monophosphate and adenosine 5-monophosphate derivatives per ribonucleic acid were constant through differentiation. After the standard purine necleosides and boiling water extracts from A. bisporus, F. velutipes and L. edodes were added into the culture, their effects on sporulation were examined. Sporulation was greatly enhanced in each adding experiment.

Objectives : Classical texts such as 『Donguibogam』 and 『Yixuerumen』 have previously been used as primers to students of Korean Medicine. However, their massiveness in volume and comprehensiveness in contents make it unfit for students whose school curriculum lacked classical chinese. This paper suggests another introductory text that would be more practical in the current situation. Methods :Based on the translation of the main text and annotations, the clinical meanings of the contents were studied. Afterwards its practical application as a primer was considered. Results : The text focuses on the medically important issues in simple and accessible form, making it an important text for beginners to establish the foundation in medicine. Conclusions : Beginners will be able to establish a standard for basic medical knowledge through this text and also apply its contents to diseases that are relatively easy to treat.

We introduce a radial basis collocation method to solve axially moving beam problems which involve $2^{nd}$ order differentiation in time and $4^{th}$ order differentiation in space. The discrete equation is constructed based on the strong form of the governing equation. The employment of multiquadrics radial basis function allows approximation of higher order derivatives in the strong form. Unlike the other approximation functions used in the meshfree methods, such as the moving least-squares approximation, $4^{th}$ order derivative of multiquadrics radial basis function is straightforward. We also show that the standard weighted boundary collocation approach for imposition of boundary conditions in static problems yields significant errors in the transient problems. This inaccuracy in dynamic problems can be corrected by a statically condensed semi-discrete equation resulting from an exact imposition of boundary conditions. The effectiveness of this approach is examined in the numerical examples.

A Chebyshev spectral method (CSM) for the dynamic analysis of non-uniform Timoshenko beams under various boundary conditions and concentrated masses at their ends is proposed. The matrix-based Chebyshev spectral approach was used to construct the spectral differentiation matrix of the governing differential operator and its boundary conditions. A matrix condensation approach is crucially presented to impose boundary conditions involving the homogeneous Cauchy conditions and boundary conditions containing eigenvalues. By taking advantage of the standard powerful algorithms for solving matrix eigenvalue and generalized eigenvalue problems that are embodied in the MATLAB commands, chebfun and eigs, the modal parameters of non-uniform Timoshenko beams under various boundary conditions can be obtained from the eigensolutions of the corresponding linear differential operators. Some numerical examples are presented to compare the results herein with those obtained elsewhere, and to illustrate the accuracy and effectiveness of this method.
