보은군 회북면 오동리 2지구 암반 절개면의 붕괴원인 고찰 (Investigation on Rock Slope Failure in Odong 2 area, Boeun-Gun)

  • The investigated cut-slope is located in Odong-Ri, Hoebuk-Myun, Boeun-Gun and composed of quartzite and phyllitic rocks (approximately 80 meters in length and 25 meters in height). During the investigation, the groundwater which was inferred to the natural pipe of slope was continuously flowing in the upper part of slope. The investigation for discontinuity properties in this area was carried out to decide the rock mass rating and strength parameters. To analyze the stability of cut-slope, lower equal-area hemisphere projection method was used. And laboratory test was done to evaluate engineering properties of soil which was sampled in the non-failure and failure area The inferred causes of cut-slope failure are the geometric relationship between the orientation of cut-slope and geological structures such as joints, faults which is distributed in the slope. And direct cause of failure is the increase of water content due to the heavy rainfall.

  • The constraint conditions are the stator voltage and the stator current to operate the motor in the flux weakening region. The maximum current is limited by the inverter current rating and the machine thermal rating. Given DC link voltage to control the motor in the flux weakening the maximum voltage is determined by considering PWM strategy, dead time, voltage drop of the inverter switching device, and the margin of the voltage for current forcing. In this paper, the new method to determine the available maximum voltage is derived by the quantitative method and by considering the factors of the voltage drop. The proposed method to determine the maximum voltage is very useful to improve the stability of the motor system and to enlarge the speed operation region in the flux weakening operation. Therefore the utility of the maximum voltage is increased.

유도 저혈압하 양악 교정술 시 Nicardipine과 Remifentanil의 혈역학적 비교 (The Comparison of the Effects of Nicardipine and Remifentanil on Fluctuation of Blood Pressure during Controlled Hypotension)

  • Background: Controlled hypotension is used to reduce bleeding and improve surgical conditions during surgery. Nicardipine and remifentanil have been used to induce controlled hypotension in healthy patients. This study compared controllability of nicardipine and remifentanil on hemodynamic stability during controlled hypotension. Methods: Forty healthy patients scheduled for orthognathic two jaw surgery were randomly allocated to nicardipine (group N) and remifentanil (group R) group. After induction of anesthesia, group N (n = 20) was infused with nicardipine to induce hypotension and group R (n = 20) was infused with remifentanil. Mean arterial pressure (MAP) and heart rate (HR) were measured over 5 minute interval. Surgical field rating and blood loss were measured after surgery. Results: HR was lower in group R than group N. MAP was maintained at 50-60 mmHg during controlled hypotension but the fluctuation of blood pressure and HR were more frequent in group N than group R. There were no significant differences in the surgical field rating and blood loss between the groups. Conclusions: Nicardipine and remifentanil enabled controlled hypotension and provided good surgical conditions, but the fluctuation of hemodynamic parameters was more frequent in nicardipine group.

Development of Anthropomorphic Robot Finger for Violin Fingering

  • This paper proposes a robot hand for a violin-playing robot and introduces a newly developed robot finger. The proposed robot hand acts as the left hand of the violin-playing robot system. The violin fingering plays an important role in determining the tone or sound when the violin is being played. Among the diverse types of violin fingering playing, it is not possible to produce vibrato with simple position control. Therefore, we newly designed a three-axis load cell for force control, which is mounted at the end of the robot finger. Noise is calculated through an analysis of the resistance difference across the strain gauge attached to the proposed three-axis load cell. In order to ensure the stability of the three-axis load cell by analyzing the stress distribution, the strain generated in the load cell is also verified through a finite element analysis. A sound rating quality system previously developed by the authors is used to compare and analyze the sound quality of the fourth-octave C-note played by a human violinist and the proposed robot finger.

프로젝트금융으로 인한 우발채무가 건설기업의 재무상태에 미치는 영향 (Effects of the contingent liabilities caused by project financing on financial status of the Korean construction firms)

  • 프로젝트 파이낸싱(Project Financing, 이하PF)은 자금조달을 위한 금융기법 중 하나로 사업주의 신용도나 다른 담보 대신 프로젝트의 수익성에 기초하여 투자자로부터 자금을 제공 받는다. 하지만 국내에서 이루어지는 PF의 경우, 자금 조달의 주체인 금융기관은 사업 타당성 검증체계가 부족하여 프로젝트의 사업성을 평가하기보다 건설사에게 신용보강을 요구하며, 이에 따라 사업주의 대출채권에 건설사가 연대보증 또는 채무인수약정을 하고 있는 실정이다. 이로 인해 건설사는 PF 우발채무라는 간접적인 채무가 발생하게 되고, 이는 재무제표에 포함되지 않으나 2009년 PF 우발채무 기재의 공시기준 제정됨에 따라 주요 관리 항목이라 할 수 있다. 본 연구는 PF 우발채무가 기업의 재무상태에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위하여 신용등급 및 도급순위 별로 건설사를 분류하여 PF 우발채무가 기업의 주요 재무비율인 유동성, 안정성, 수익성에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다.

수치해석을 통한 성토 높이에 따른 터널 안정성 평가 연구 (Assessment of tunnel stability according to height of embankment by numerical analysis)

  • 터널의 갱구부는 토피가 얕고 지반의 아칭효과가 발휘되기 어렵기 때문에 터널 시공 시 주의가 필요한 구간이다. 공용 중인 터널 갱구부 상부에 추가적인 성토가 이루어진다면 터널 안정성을 크게 저해할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 터널 상부의 추가 성토에 따른 터널 안정성을 검토하고자 지반조건별로 성토 높이에 따른 수치해석을 수행하였다. 해석 결과 5등급 암반에서 성토 높이가 12 m 이상인 경우에는 숏크리트의 허용 휨압축응력, 록볼트의 허용 축력을 초과하는 것으로 나타났다. 발생되는 변위와 소성영역의 범위, 지보재의 상태를 종합적으로 고려할 때 터널 갱구부 상부에 추가 성토되는 높이가 10 m를 초과하는 경우에는 터널 안정성이 크게 저해되는 것으로 판단된다.

대학적응력 검사도구 척도 개발과 양호도 검증 (The Development of Scales on Rating College Students' Adaptability and the Analysis of Technical Quality)

  • 본 연구는 대학생의 대학적응력에 영향을 미치는 요인을 구성하고, 이를 진단하기 위한 대학적응력 척도 개발의 절차를 소개하며 검사도구의 양호도를 검증하였다. 이 도구는 3단계의 척도 추출 과정 및 6단계의 문항 추출 과정을 거쳐 제작하였다. 추출 결과, 학문적 통합성, 사회적 통합성, 정서적 안정성, 진로정체성, 학업여건 안정성, 교수와의 관계, 교육서비스 만족도, 대학교육 만족도 등 8개 척도, 142개 문항 구성을 통해 대학적응력을 측정하였다. 4개 대학 1,959명의 대학생을 대상으로 검사를 실시한 도구의 양호도 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 문항내적 일관성 전체 신뢰도 계수 Cronbach's ${\alpha}$는 .965, 범위는 .742~.937로써 신뢰도가 매우 높다. 둘째, 개별 문항의 양호도를 평가하기 위하여 각 척도 및 하위요인별로 문항 점수와 총점 간 상관계수에 의한 문항 변별도를 구했으며, 평균은 .147~.841이다. 셋째, 확인적 요인분석에 따른 구인타당도 검증 결과, CFA모델의 RMSEA = .08~.09이고, 모든 부합도지수가 기준에 양호하게 부합함으로써 각 척도에 속하는 문항들이 측정하고자 하는 특성을 타당하게 측정하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 척도별 대학적응경향성과 중도탈락경향성 점수 차이에 기초한 공인타당도 검증 결과, 학업여건 안정성을 제외한 모든 척도에서 유의수준 .05수준에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있음이 확인되었다. 연구결과, 대학적응력 진단 도구는 대학생의 대학적응경향성과 중도탈락경향성을 타당하게 예측하는 도구로 확인되었다.

  • An advanced method of Relaxed Static Stability (RSS) is utilized for improving the aerodynamic performance of modern version supersonic jet fighter aircraft. The laws of flight control system utilize RSS criteria in both longitudinal and lateral-directional axes to achieve performance enhancements. Particularly, the design of longitudinal control laws for utilizing RSS methods greatly affects the performance of the aircraft in Air-to-Air Tracking and Air-to-Ground modes, which improves weapon delivery. In the area of Airto- Air Tracking, the development of longitudinal control laws aids in the fine tracking and gross acquisition of other aircraft. This paper proposes that Air-to-Air fine tracking can be improved via RSS control law design methods without effecting Air-to-Air gross acquisition.

효모를 사용한 친환경 인디고 염색: 알칼리수용액 종류에 따른 환원력 (Eco-friendly Indigo Dyeing using Baker's Yeast: Reducing Power according to Alkaline Solution Type)

  • Baker's yeast(Saccharomyces cerevisiae) was used as a biocatalyst for eco-friendly indigo dyeing and the reducing power of yeast according to the alkaline solution type was compared. NaOH solution, lye, and buffer solution were used as alkaline solutions. The reducing power(K/S value, oxidation/reduction potential(ORP), pH) was monitored according to the elapsed time including the initiation of reduction, peak reduction, and the end of reduction. In all alkaline solutions, it was confirmed that yeast can be used reducing agent in indigo reduction dyeing. The pH stability and reducing power of buffer solution was better than that of NaOH alone. Although, pH and ORP stability of the reduction bath in lye were better than that of buffer solution, K/S value in buffer solution was higher compared to lye. The reducing power was different depending on the starting pH of the dye bath, and it was better when starting at pH 10.70 than at pH 11.30. Fastnesses to washing, rubbing, and light were relatively good with above rating 4. There was no significant difference in colorfastness depending on the type of alkaline solutions.

Evaluation of Two Biologically Active Compounds for Control of Wheat Root Rot and its Causal Pathogens

  • The main aim of this study is to evaluate the efficiency of two biologically active compounds(Strom and F-760) in control of wheat root rot disease and its causal organisms. Fusarium graminearum, F. oxysporum, F. solani and Bipolaris sorokiniana were used as target organisms. In vitro, the two compounds showed fungicidal effect on all investigated pathogens resulted in suppression of radial growth and mycelial dry weight of them. Under greenhouse conditions, treatment of wheat grains with either Strom or F-760 before cultivation significantly reduced the percent of disease distribution as well as the mean disease rating of plants in both seedling and flowering stages. Fresh and dry weights of plants as well as water maintenance capacity were increased as the result of applying these compounds as seed dressing. Also data showed that the membrane stability of plants was injured as a result of infection with all investigated organisms, while this injury was alleviated when F-760 and Strom were applied. The $K^+$ efflux and the leakage of UV absorbing metabolites was stimulated with fungal infection. However, F-760 and Storm treatment partially retarded the stimulatory effect on leakage of $K^+$ and UV-absorbing metabolites of fungal infected plants. On the other side, the fungal infection had inhibitory effects on pigment fractions(chlorophyll a, b, and carotenoids) biosynthesis in wheat leaves. This retarding effect was partially or completely alleviated as the grains were treated with the applied compounds.
