  • In this paper, by means of Lyapunov second method, the stability of IPD control servo systems is analyzed in the time domain for the first time. Based on the results of the stability analysis, the design rule to select the gain of IPD control is suggested such that the maximum error of output to the nominal system is guaranteed for all uncertainty and load variations. An example of a position control of a brushless dc motor is given to prove the unusefulness of the gain design rule.

  • In this paper, two representative schemes for vector control of induction motor without speed sensor are studied. First, the two sensorless systems which are implemented by voltage and current source are presented with new ideas and interpretations. Then a linear model around an operating point is proposed. Finally, the stability improvement of these systems are studied and evaluated by computing the trajectories of poles and zeros.

  • When a saturating control system has integral action, reset windup can cause instability as well as make the system performance unsatisfactory. An antirset-windup (ARW) limiter has been suggested to improve the stability and performance. It has been implemented with analog circuits and tested by simulations. This paper presents the stability condition of a double-integrator plant having the state feedback plus integral-action controller with the ARW limiter by using both Liapunov's second method and graphical method together.

  • In recent years, many studies have been conducted on fuzzy control since it can surpass the conventional control in several respects. In this paper, numerical stability analysis methodology for the singleton-type linguistic fuzzy control systems is proposed. The Proposed stability analysis is not the analytical method but the numerical method using the convex optimization technique of Quadratic Programming (QP) and Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMI).

  • In this paper, we develop two sufficient conditions for Schur stability of convex combinations of discrete time polynomials. We give conditions under which Schur stability of the extremes implies Schur stability of the entire convex combination. These results are based on Bhattacharyya's result(1991), the AHMC theory in Barmish and Kang's paper (1993) and the bilinear transformation. Important applications of the results involves robust Schur stability of a feedback system having degenerate interval plants in an extreme point context.

Absolute Stability of the Simple Fuzzy Logic Controller

  • The stability analysis for the fuzzy logic controller (FLC) has widely been reported. Furthermore many research in the FLC has been introduced to decrease the number of parameters representing the antecedent part of the fuzzy control rule. In this paper we briefly explain a single-input fuzzy logic controller (SFLC) or simple-structured FLC which uses only a single input variable. And then we analyze that it is absolutely stale based on the sector bounded condition. We also show the feasibility of the proposed stability analysis through a numerical example of a mass-damper-spring system.

  • The guaranteed stability margin of LQ optimal regulators with cross-product terms in a performance index is derived for the discrete-time case. In order to obtain the guaranteed stability margin, the singular value of the return difference matrix is examined. A numerical simulation is provided to demonstrate the validity of the derived stability margin.

  • 본 논문에서는 자세 제어 장치와 능동 후륜 조향을 이용한 통합 섀시 제어를 제안한다. 제어에 필요한 요 모멘트를 만들어 내기 위해 직접 요 모멘트 제어 방법을 이용한다. 가중 역행렬 기반 제어할당 방법을 이용하여 제어 요 모멘트를 자세 제어 장치의 제동력과 능동 후륜 조향의 조향각으로 분배한다. 가중 역행렬 기반 제어 할당 방법에 가변 가중치를 도입하여 다양한 구동기 조합을 표현하고 차량의 속도를 높이기 위해 시뮬레이션을 이용하여 가변 가중치를 최적화한다. 차량 시뮬레이션 패키지인 CarSim 에서 시뮬레이션을 수행하여 제안된 방법이 차량의 조종안정성과 횡방향 안정성을 향상시킨다는 사실을 검증한다.

T-50 가로-방향축 비행제어법칙 설계 및 궤환이득의 변화에 따른 항공기 동특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Flight Control Law and the Dynamic Characteristic about Variation of Feedback Gains of T-50 Lateral-Directional Axis)

  • The T-50 advanced trainer aircraft combines advanced aerodynamic features and a fly-by-wire flight control system in order to produce a stability and highly maneuverability. The flight control system both longitudinal and lateral-directional axes to achieve performance enhancements and improve stability. The T-50 employs the RSS concept in order to improve the aerodynamic performance in longitudinal axis and the longitudinal control laws employ the dynamic inversion with proportional-plus-integral control method. And, lateral-directional control laws employ the blended roll system both beta-betadot feedback and simple roll rate feedback with proportional control method in order to guarantee aircraft stability. This paper details the design process of developing lateral-directional control laws, utilizing the requirement of MIL-F-8785C and MIL-F-9490D. And, this paper propose the analysis of aircraft characteristics such as dutch-roll mode, roll mode, spiral mode, gain and phase margin about gains for lateral-directional inner loop feedback.
