우리나라 동해안 북형 통발에 대한 물레고둥(Buccinum striatissimum)의 망목 선택성에 관한 연구 (Study on the mesh selectivity of a drum shaped pot for finely-striate buccinum (Buccinum striatissimum) in the eastern coastal waters of Korea)

  • The mesh selectivity of a drum shaped pot for finely-striate buccinum (Buccinum striatissimum) was conducted a total of eight times with four different mesh sizes (22, 35, 50 and 60 mm) from May to September, 2019 in the eastern coastal waters of Korea. The size selectivity analysis was estimated by the SELECT method to express logistic selectivity curves. In the results, the catch of finely-striate buccinum was occupied about 90% in the total catch weight. The equation of the master curve of selectivity was estimated to s(R) = exp(-7.778R+9.983)/[1+exp(-7.778R+9.983)]. The relative shell height of 50% selection was 1.284 and the selection range (SR) was 0.282. The optimal mesh size for 50% selection on the minimum maturation size (75 mm, Shell height) was estimated more than 60 mm by the master selectivity curve.

  • For reference human intrusion scenarios constructed in previous study, a probabilistic safety assessment to derive the radionuclide concentration limits for the low- and intermediate- level radioactive waste disposal facility is conducted. Statistical approach by the Latin Hypercube Sampling method is introduced and new assumptions about the disposal facility system are examined and discussed. In our previous study of deterministic approach, the post construction scenarios appeared as most limiting scenario to derive the radionuclide concentration limits. Whereas, in this statistical approach, the post drilling and the post construction scenarios are mutually competing for the scenario selection according to which radionuclides are more important in safety assessment context. Introduction of new assumption shows that the post drilling scenario can play an important role as the limiting scenario instead of the post-construction scenario. When we compare the concentration limits between the previous and this study, concentrations of radionuclides such as Nb-94, Cs-137 and alpha-emitting radionuclides show elevated values than the case of the previous study. Remaining radionuclides such as Sr-90, Tc-99 I-129, Ni-59 and Ni-63 show lower values than the case of the previous study.

  • The $(Sr_{1-x}Ca_x)TiO_3$(SCT) thin films are deposited on Pt-coated electrode(Pt/TiN/$SiO_2$/Si) using RF sputtering method with substitutional contents of Ca. The maximum grain of thin films is obtained at SCT15 thin film. The dielectric constant was increased with increasing the substitutional contents of Ca, while it was decreased if the substitutional contents of Ca exceeded over 15[mol%]. The dielectric constant changes almost linearly in temperature ranges of -80~+90$[^{\circ}C]$. The temperature properties of the dielectric loss have a stable value within 0.02 independent of the substitutional contents of Ca. All SCT thin films used in this study show the phenomena of dielectric relaxation with the increase of frequency, and the relaxation frequency is observed above 200[kHz].

  • 중저준위 방사성 폐기물 처분 안전성 평가에 이용될 수 있는 유한 차분법에 의한 수치모델을 개발하였다. 이 모델은 처분장이 암반내에 위치한 경우에 대하여 처분장 주위 지하 암반 매질에서의 핵종의 이동을 기술하는 것으로 암반내의 단일한 균열으로의 지하수에 의한 이동과 균열에 수직한 방향으로의 확산을 고려하여 일차원적으로 해석하였다. 수치모델은 해석해와 병행하여 처분장 안전성 평가에 있어서 유용하게 이용될 수 있는 것으로 보다 실제적인 경계조건을 사용할 수 있게 하고, 불균질한 암반매질에 대해 다중매질 모델링을 제공한다. 수치모델의 검증을 위하여 균열에서의 Sr-90 농도 Profile을 구하여 해석해와 비교하였고, 몇몇 경계 조건에 따른 영향을 비교하고 암반매질을 파라미터 값이 단계적으로 변하는 이중 매질에 대하여 확장하였다.

수종 레진 인공치의 마모도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Wear of Artificial Resin Teeth)

  • The artificial resin teeth used for removable prosthesis have good physical properties, but they have great wear rate. The purpose of this study is to compare the wear characteristics of several artificial resin teeth, such as Myerson teeth(Myerson Crop), Trubite IPN(Dentsply), Endura Posterio(Shofu), SROrthosit(Ivoclar), Trubite Biotone(Dentsply), Five samples of each resin tooth were abraded against natural teeth, type III gold for 150,000 cycles on the wear machine. The results obtained were as follow 1. The wear rate of artificial resin teeth when opposing enamel was the lowest in Myerson teeth($8.60{\mu}m$), followed by Trubite IPN($41.30{\mu}m$), Endure poster($63.00{\mu}m$), SR-Orthosit($68.40{\mu}m$), Trubite Biotone($209.90{\mu}m$) 2. The wear rate of artificial teeth when opposting type III gold specimens was the lowest in Myerson teeth($13.50{\mu}m$) followed by Endura Posterio($14.75{\mu}m$), Trubite IPN($53.40{\mu}m$), SROrthosit($54.20{\mu}m$), Trubite Boitone($341.50{\mu}m$)

  • In this paper, in order to obtain a large differential phase shift with a little change in applied voltage, a ferroelectric reflective load circuit has been designed on top of barium strontium titanate $(Ba,Sr)TiO_3$ [BST] thin film. The design of the ferroelectric reflection-type phase shifter is based on a reflection theory of terminating circuit, which has a reflection-type analogue phase shifter with two ports terminated in symmetric phase-controllable reflective networks. To achieve large amounts of phase shift in low bias-voltage range, the effects of change of capacitance and transmission line connected with two coupled ports of a 3-dB $90^{\circ}$ branch-line hybrid coupler have been investigated. A large phase shift with a small capacitance change in the parallel terminating circuit has been demonstrated in the paper.

  • The 2 GeV electron linac, the injector of the Pohang Light Source, was used as a photo-neutron source for radiation shielding research. The operational beam parameters are the nominal electron intensity of $0.5\;{\sim}5\;nC/sec$, the repetition rate of 10 Hz, and the beam pulse length of 1.0 nsec. One electron beam line was modified in order to install the target systems for producing pulsed photo-neutrons. The neutron spectrum and intensity were investigated by the time-of-flight technique. The reliable maximum energy of the measured neutrons was about 500 MeV. The number of neutrons above 20 MeV produced by one 1 GeV electron in a thick Pb target was about $6.45{\times}10^{-4}/sr$ at 90 degrees to the beam axis. The status of the photo-neutron source and the application research are presented.

  • The $(Sr_{1-x}Ca_x)TiO_3$(SCT) thin films are deposited on Pt-coated electrode (Pt/TiN/$SiO_2$/Si) using RF sputtering method with substitutional contents of Ca. The optimum conditions of RF power and Ar/$O_2$ ratio were 140[W] and 80/20, respectively. Deposition rate of SCT thin film was about 18.75[$\AA$/min]. The dielectric constant was increased with increasing the substitutional contents of Ca, while it was decreased if the substitutional contents of Ca exceeded over 15[mol%]. The capacitance characteristics had a stable value within ${\pm}4$[%] in temperature ranges of -80~+90[$^{\circ}C$].

Electrochemical Performance of LSCF Cathode with GDC lnterlayer on ScSZ Electrolyte

  • A symmetrical LSCF $(La_{0.6}Sr_{0.4}Co_{0.2}Fe_{0.8}O_{3-\delta})\;ScSZ(89ZrO_2-10Sc_2O_3-1CeO_2)/LSCF$ electrochemical cell with a GDC (Gadolinium-Doped Ceria, $90CeO_2-10Gd_2O_3$) interlayer that was inserted between the LSCF cathode and ScSZ electrolyte was fabricated, and the electrochemical performance of these cells was evaluated. The GDC interlayer was deposited on a ScSZ electrolyte using a screen-printing technique. The GDC interlayer prevented the unfavorable solid-state reactions at the LSCF/ScSZ interfaces. The LSCF cathode on the GDC interlayer had excellent electrocatalytic performance even at $650^{\circ}C$. The Area Specific Resistance (ASR) was strongly dependent on the thickness and heat-treatment temperature of the GDC interlayer. The impedance spectra showed that the cell with a $15\~27{\mu}m$ thick GDC interlayer heat-treated at $1200^{\circ}C$ had the lowest ASR.

플라즈마 용사법을 이용한 원통형 고체산화물 연료전지의 요소피막 제조 (Fabrication of the Functional Coatings of a Tubular Solid Oxide Fuel by Plasma Spray Processes.)

  • Plasma spray processes for functional coatings of tubular SOFC ( Soild oxide Fuel Cell).consisting of air electrode, oxide electrolyte, an fuel electrode, are optimized by fully saturated fractional factorial testing. Material and electric characteristics of each coating are analtsed by the implementation of SEM and optical microscope for evaluating microstructure and porosity, X-ray diffraction method for investigating compositional change between raw powder and sprayed coating, and Van der Pauw method for measuring electrical conductivity. LSM ($La_{0.65}Sr_{0.35}MnO_3$air electrode and Ni-YSL fuel electrode coatings have porosities of around 23~30% sufficient for effective fuel and oxidant gas supply to electrochemical reaction interfaces and electrical conductivities of around 90 S/cm and 1000 S/cm, respectively, enough for acting as current collecting electrodes. YSZ($ZrO_2-8mol%Y_2O_3$) electrolyte film has a high ionic conductivities of 0.05~0.07 S/cm at $1000^{\circ}C$ in air atmosphere, but appears to be somewhat too porous to reduce the thickness. for enhancing the cell efficiency. A unit tubular SOFC has beem fabricated by the optimized plasma spray processes for each functional coating and the cell. Its electrochemical chracteristics are investigated by measuring voltage-current and power density with variation of operationg temperature, radio of fuel to air gas flowrates, and total gas flowrate of reactants.
