Microstructures and tensile properties at ambient and elevated temperatures were studied by substituting RE for Sr in Mg-6%Al-(3-X)%RE-X%Sr alloys (X = 0~3). With increasing Sr content, $Al_4Sr$ phase with lamellar morphology was newly introduced at interdendritic regions, with a gradual extinction of needle-shaped $Al_4RE$. The Mg-6%Al-3%Sr alloy shows dendritic grains and interdendritic eutectic phases containing bulky Mg-Al-Sr and lamellar $Al_4Sr$ with more continuous manner. The substitution of Sr for RE provided higher YS, UTS and creep resistance at $175^{\circ}C$, which indicates that Sr would be more beneficial in tensile properties and creep resistance at elevated temperature than RE for the Mg-Al based casting alloys.

To investigate the relationship between the translocation and distribution the monovalent K and Na and the divalent Sr and Ca, the natrophile and calcitrophic plant sugar beet (Beta vulgaris L.) was used. Strontium uptake and distribution are concentration and growth stage dependent. The highest Ca content occurred in the treatment of 4 : 1 mM ratio of Ca to Sr, while the highest Sr content in old leaves in the presence of 1 mM Ca and 4 mM Sr. The addition of low concentration of Sr stimulates Ca-uptake. Reversely. Sr-uptake is highest in the presence of 1 mM Ca. This result may be an antagonistic effect between Ca and Sr. The ratios of Mg to Ca and Sr are satisfactorily presented by the regression analysis. The sum of Sr and Ca contents are most significant linear to the ratio of Mg to one, showing a negative correlation. This result implies that the absorption of Mg and Ca or Sr is antagonistic. In the presence of only 5 mM Sr, K and Na-uptakes increases, while Sr in the presence of Ca does not affect the change in the K and Na assimilation and their ratios. The ratios of K to Na is also not changed. A little addition of Sr could more effectively retain the chlorophyll loss while only in the presence of Sr, the chlorophyll levels are considerably reduced.
In this study, silicone rubber (SR40) and fluororubber (FKM) mixture blends were prepared by various weight percentages, and their properties were characterized. The crosslinking rate increased as the contents of SR40 due to the crosslinking agent in SR40. As contents of FKM increase in SR40/FKM blends, thermal decomposition temperature of blends increased. When SR40/FKM blend ratio was at 50/50, the thermal decomposition stabilization was higher than that of pure SR40. The contact angle of SR40/FKM blend increased as the increase of SR40 contents in blend. All composition of SR40/FKM blends showed typical phase separation morphology. As the contents of SR40 increase in SR40/FKM blend, the degree of separation in SR40/FKM blends also increased.
The influence of Ti/Sr ratio on abnormal grain growth of Nb-doped SrTiO3 was investigated. For specimens which were isothermally sintered at temperatures above 144$0^{\circ}C$, the nucleation and growth rates of abnormal grain growth were decreased with increasing Ti/Sr ratio. But the onset time of abnormal grain growth was increased with increasing Ti/Sr ratio. The cross-section of abnormally grown grains was mostly hexagonal. When the specimens were quenched in air after they reached their setting temperatures at a heating rate of 3$^{\circ}C$/min, the onset temperature of abnormal grain growth was increased with increasing Ti/Sr ratio and the final grain size was independent of Ti/Sr ratio. The cross-section of abnormally grown grains was mostly rectangular.

In this paper,we prosent a new run-time support system for SR usitn POSIX threads (Pthreads),called SR/RTS +.SR supports a rich set of concurent programming techniques with multiple cincurrency control primit-ives Since the original RTS for SR uses its own thread management facility,it should be modifide to work on different computer systems.Furthermore, the run-time efficiency of the RTS should be considered in association with those different sytems. Thus,to portability and to guarantee the predictable run-time ef-ficiency,SR/RTS + is designed on the pthreads(POSIX Threads )which supports multiple threads of con-trol within a single POSIX process. Also, the SR compiler is modified to generate the codes appropriate for pthreads interface.SR/RTS + has been develped on Spare Workstation using pthreads library announced by Florida State University and tested with the SR verification suite distribute by the University of Arizona.

For the analysis of 90Sr, which is a pure beta emitter, radiochemical separation from the main interfering elements such as Ca, Ba and Ra is required due to their similarity in chemical behavior to strontium. This study describes a radioanalytical procedure using extraction chromatography for separating Sr from interfering elements. The maximum capacity of the resin for Sr was approximately 6 mg per 1.5 mL of bed volume (BV). The recovery of Sr on the resin 1.5 mL (BV) was quantitative for the calcium level of 200 mg at the flow rate of 1 mL min-1. However the chemical yield declined by increasing the flow rate by up to 5 mL min-1 even at the calcium level of 200 mg. When using the same BV of Sr resin, the performance of the resin was enhanced as the cross-sectional area of the Sr resin column is small.
Background: Gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (GNs) are slow growing and although their incidence has increased in recent years, they are relatively rarely seen. Somatostatin analogues are used in the treatment of GNs that express somatostatin receptor (SR). We aimed to investigate the expression of SR2 and SR5 in GNs. Materials and Methods: In this study the expression of SR2 and SR5 was investigated immunohistochemically in 49 cases (26 males, 23 females) diagnosed and graded with GN according to the World Health Organization classification 2010. Results: The percentage of SR2 staining was 91.0% in grade 1, 82.8% in grade 2 and 100% in grade 3. On the other hand, the percentage of SR5 staining was 81.8% % in grade 1, 60.0% in grade 2 and 0% in grade 3. According to the tumor localization, the percentages of SR2 expression were as follows: pancreas 85.7%, stomach 100%, small bowel 70%, appendix 85.7% and rectum 100%. The percentages of SR5 expression were: pancreas 61,9%, stomach 37.5%, small bowel 70%, appendix 71.5% and rectum 66.6%. There was a significant negative correlation between ki67 percentage and SR5 expression (r=-0.341, p=0.016). Conclusions: In this study, GNs were found to highly express SR2 and SR5. Although the expression of SR2 and SR5 changed according to tumor localization, the expression of SR2 was higher than the expression of SR5 in GN. There was a significant negative correlation between ki67 and SR5. Accordingly, SR5 may be a prognostic indicator of GN.
Two crystal structures of dehydrated $Sr^{2+}\;and\;Tl^+$ exchanged zeolite A, $Sr_xTl_{12-2x}-A$ (x = 1.6 and 5.45), have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction techniques. Their structures were solved and refined in the cubic space group Pm3m at $21(1)^{\circ}C.$ Both crystals were ion exchanged in flowing streams of mixed $Sr(NO_3)_2\;and\;TlNO_3$ aqueous solution, followed by dehydration at $360^{\circ}C\; and\; 2${\times}$10^{-6}$ Torr for 2 days. Full-matrix least-squares refinements of the dehydrated $Sr_{1.6}Tl_{8.8}-A (a = 12.214(2){\AA})\; and\;Sr_{5.45}Tl{1.1}-A (a=12.291(2){\AA})$ have converged to final error indices, $R_1=0.055\; and\;R_2=0.061$ with 286 reflections, and R1 = 0.072 and R2 = 0.090 with 217 reflections, respectively, for which$\;I\;{>}\;3{\sigma}(I)$. In both structures, all Sr(II) ions are coordinated by three framework oxygens; Sr(II) to O(3) distances are $2.21(2){\AA}\;for\;Sr_{1.6}Tl_{8.8}-A \;and\;2.31(1){\AA} \;for\;Sr_{5.45}Tl_{1.1}-A,$and Tl(I) to O(3) distances are $2.657(6){\AA}\;for\;Sr_{1.6}Tl_{8.8}-A\;and\;2.845(8){\AA}\;for\;Sr_{5.45}Tl_{1.1}-A,$ respectively. In each structure, the angle subtended at Sr(II), O(3)-Sr(II)-O(3) is $118.7(4)^{\circ}\;for\; Sr_{1.6}Tl_{8.8}-A \;and\;120.0(4)^{\circ}\;for\;Sr_{5.45}Tl_{1.1}-A.\;Sr^{2+}$ ions prefer to 6-ring sites and $Tl^+$ ions to 8-ring sites when total number of ions per unit cell is more than 8.
The shorting resistance (SR) of the PEMFC(Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell) polymer membrane is an important indicator of the durability of the membrane. When SR decreases, shorting current (SC) increases, reducing durability and performance. When SR becomes less than about 0.1 kΩ·㎠, shorting occurs, the temperature rises rapidly, and MEA(Membrane Electrode Assembly) is burned to end stack operation. In order to prevent shorting, we need to control the SR, so the conditions affecting the SR were studied. There were differences in the SR measurement methods, and the SR measurement method, which improved the DOE(Department of Energy) and NEDO(New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization) method, was presented. It was confirmed that the SR decreases as the relative humidity, temperature and cell compression pressure increase. In the final stage of the accelerated durability evaluation process of the polymer membrane, SR rapidly decreased to less than 0.1 kΩ·㎠, and the hydrogen permeability became higher than 15 mA/㎠. After dismantling the MEA, SEM(Scanning Electron Microscope) analysis showed that a lot of platinum was distributed inside the membrane.

This paper has addressed the implementation of the single rate Rate Adaptive Shaper(srRAS) described in RFC2963. This shaper has been proposed to use at the ingress of differentiated services networks providing Assured Forwarding Per Hop Behavior (AFPHB). srRAS is typically used in conjunction with single rate Three Color Marker(srTCM) described in RFC2697. srRAS itself is the tail-drop FIFO that is drained at a variable rate, and srTCM is the marker with metering function. G-srRAS is the same as srRAS except that RAS receives the green token state information from the downstream srTCM to avoid delaying a packet in RAS although there are sufficient tokens available to color the packet green. In this paper, we have addressed the algorithm and the architecture of srRAS, and the scheme to implement srRAS using VHDL(Very high-speed integrated circuit Hardware Description Language) and its related tools.
