The virus infecting French bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) was identified as Bean Common Mosaic Virus(BCMV) based on the host range, symptomatology, serology, morphology of virus particles and inclusion bodies. Isolates of BCMV were obtained from seeds of P. vulgaris collected at Suweon, Jangsu and Jinju in Korea. French bean produced vein clearing, mosaic, stunting and leaf curling. Symptom of Chenopodium quinoa was local lesions on the inoculated leaves, not on the upper leaves. The electron micrograph of the virus from French bean was flexuous approximately 750nm in length. Cylindrical and pinwheel cytoplasmic inclusion bodies were observed in French bean leaf infected by BCMV. BCMV from the French bean was transmitted through seed and green peach aphid, Myzus persicae. The thermal inactivation point was $55\~60^{\circ}C$, dilution end point was $10^{-3}\~10^{-5}$ and longevity in vitro was $2\~3$ days for BCMV from French bean. The isolates of BCMV reacted positively against BCMV antiserum. The extract of BCMV infected bean leaves, Azukibean mosaic virus (AZMV) and Cowpea aphid borne mosaic virus(CaMV) also reacted with BCMV antiserum, however, BCMV and CaMV showed the spur in agar gel diffusion test.

This study was performed to investigate the characteristics of nutrient removal of municipal wastewater in membrane bioreactor system. Membrane bioreactor consists of four reactors such as the anaerobic, the stabilization, the anoxic and the submerged membrane aerobic reactor with two internal recycles. The hydraulic retention time (HRT), sludge retention time (SRT) and flux were 6.2 h, 34.1 days and 19.6 L/$m^2$/hr (LMH), respectively. The removal efficiency of $COD_{Cr}$, SS, TN and TP were 94.3%, 99.9%, 69.4%, and 74.6%, respectively. The estimated true biomass yield, specific denitrification rate (SDNR), specific nitrification rate (SNR), specific phosphorus release rate (SPRR) and specific phosphorus uptake rate (SPUR) were 0.653 kgVSS/kgBOD/d, 0.044 $mgNO_3$-N/mgVSS/d, 0.035 $mgNH_4$-N/mgVSS/d, 51.0 mgP/gVSS/d and 5.4 mgP/gVSS/d, respectively. The contents of nitrogen and phosphorus of biomass were 8.86% and 3.5% on an average.

Planetary gearheads are widely used in the transmissions of samll precision mechanism, automation, robotics, heavy machinery and marine vehicle . Planetary gearheads have advantages that same-axle structure, high torque transmission, low noise in comparison with spur gearheads. And, planetary gearheads are typically specified in application where space is limited. In till study included planetary type gearheads design, manufacture, efficiency test. Especially, this time performed gear mesh stiffness simulation and vibration analysis for planetary gearheads.

The culture of 21c, that is, a century of globalization, will be more mutifarious, and, in the spur of the society based on knowledge, the world will be a simultaneous community. Therefore, in parallel with the globalizational tendencies, each country must develop its own images and designs for their cultural identities. This means a need for those images that gives life to a traditionality of the korea in the diverseness of the culture in the world. Studies and efforts for producing extra values are needed in a view-point of a development of the cloth-design.

Two PVY strains (PVY-VB and PVY-VN) isolated from tobacco in Korea were compared for their serological relationship with other 8 strains which were obtained from tobacco or potato in different countries. One of these strains, PVY-Argentina showed the spur reaction to PVY-VB and PVY-VN antisera in SDS-agar gel double diffusion plates. The two Korean PVY strains were closely related to other strains except for one, PVY-Argentina when antigen-antibody reciprocal absorption tests were conducted. It is suggested that the strain, PVY-Argentina, is a new serotype containing a specific antigenic site different from other 9 strains tested.
