  • The purpose of this study is to empirically grasp the relationship between website immersion and website attitude by the attribute factors of the Taekwondo information website and provide it as basic data for effective operation of the Taekwondo information website. The subjects of this study were Taekwondo athletes enrolled in high schools and universities affiliated with the Korean Taekwondo Association, and the sampling method was sampled using the convient sampling method, a non-probability sampling method. Of the 820 questionnaires finally obtained, 789 were processed using PASW Statistics 20.0 and AMOS, except for 31 that were deemed to have poor respondents' contents or were not valuable as data. For data analysis, the statistical analysis techniques used in this study were frequency analysis, factor analysis, Cronbach's α test, correlation analysis, and structural equation model analysis (SEM), and the significance level of the research hypothesis was α=.It was verified at 05. The following conclusions were drawn through such research methods and procedures. First, information, entertainment, structure, cognition, searchability, and connectivity of Taekwondo information website attributes affect website immersion. Second, website immersion is affecting website attitudes.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the factors associated with child's Body Mass Index (BMI) and physical activity. The participants (n = 133) were Korean juveniles (3rd and 4th graders) and their parents. They completed a questionnaire packet including the SPARK (Sports, Play, and Active Recreation for Kids) survey and the parent equivalent survey. Correlation, multiple linear regression and binary logistic regression analyses were applied to identify the association between child's BMI and 10 factors of SPARK as predict or variables. 25.6% of the participants were classified as overweight (21.1%) or obesity (4.5%). 3 parental factors including mother's BMI and frequency of mother's and father's physical activity were identified as significant predictors of children's BMI. The 10 variables accounted for 28% of the variance (p<.01) in the linear regression model. These results provide insight into parental factors which are related to a child's BMI and physical activity. Parental role modeling which refers to parents' efforts to model an active lifestyle for children plays an important role.

  • The purpose of this study was to clarify the casual effects among participants'curiosity, the perceived exertion and the exercise emotion on the exercise adherence behavior in marine leisure sports. The subjects for the study was 491 students who registered for the curriculum on marine leisure sports(SCUBA diving, Windsurfing, Yacht). They answered to 4 kinds of questionnaires. The descriptive analysis and the reliability analysis were accomplished through SPSS 18.0. The correlation analysis and the confirmatory factor analysis were conducted for verifying the validity of the research model with AMOS 18.0. The verification for the structure equation modeling was conducted to investigate the casual relationship among factors. The results was as follows. First, there was the causality between the participants'curiosity on the marine leisure sports and the exercise emotion, the emotion and the exercise adherence behavior, the curiosity and the behavior. Also, the exercise emotion was the partial mediating variable of the causality between the curiosity and the exercise adherence behavior. Seconds, when the exercise intensity was heavy, the rate of the positive emotion was low and the opposite was high. When the exercise intensity was heavy, the probability, predisposing and reinforcing were low. A strong will for doing exercise showed in case the exercise emotion was positive with high probability, predisposing and reinforcing. The exercise emotion was the partial mediating variable of the causality between the perceived exertion and the exercise adherence behavior.

  • The purpose of this research is to analyze requirements for sports for all of the intellectually handicapped and their characteristics. Subjects for this study consisted of 33 undergraduate students who belonged to the department of physical education in P University. The Q-population a total of 28 people were selected including 16 handicapped college students from P welfare center and 12 members from the vocational adjustment class. The card used in Q sort was 27 categories of sports for all suggested by the korea Paralympic Committee. The result of Q-sorting were coded and analysed using QUANL pc program. According to the research result, Firstly, the requirement types of sports for all of the intellectually handicapped revealed to be four types(The eigen values of the five types of attitudes are 5.6, 2.3, 1.9, and 1.7): Secondly, the characteristics for each five types were determined to be experiential-value Pursuing type(type 1), interest-value pursuing type(type 2), purpose0orientation pursign type(type 3) and Safety-oriented pursuing type(type 4). Through the characteristics of each of the five types. Such results of the research suggest that the demand of the mentally ills for sports for all can be diverse and there can be a variety of types based on the background factors.
