동적 및 정적스트레칭이 점프높이와 근활성도에 미치는 급성효과 (The Acute Effects of Dynamic and Static Stretching on Jump Height and Muscle Activity)

  • 본 연구는 정상 성인들을 대상으로 동적, 정적 스트레칭을 적용하여 점프 높이와 점프동안의 근활성도를 측정하여 비교 분석함으로써 스포츠 활동에서의 스트레칭 방법에 대한 기초 자료를 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 20명의 대상자를 무작위 추출하여 2 group으로 각각 10명씩 나누었다. 각 각 다른 그룹에 동적, 정적 스트레칭을 적용하였다. 스트레칭 적용 전후에 점프 높이와 점프동안의 외측광근과 비복근의 근활성도를 측정하였다. 통계학적 처리는 공분산 분석을 이용하여 실시하였다. 결과는 동적 스트레칭이 정적 스트레칭보다 점프높이(p<.05)와 점프 동안의 외측광근의 근 활성도(p<.05)에서 효과적임을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 강한 근력을 필요로 하는 운동선수들에게 동적스트레칭을 준비운동으로 적용할 필요성이 있을 것으로 생각된다.

여성노인에게 적용한 12주간 복합하지근력 운동프로그램이 낙상위험도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of 12Weeks Complexed Lower Body Muscle-Strengthening Exercise Program on Fall Risk in Elderly women)

  • 본 연구는 여성노인에게 적용한 복합하지근력운동프로그램이 노인의 낙상위험도에 미치는 영향을 알아 보기 위하여 W시 소재 복지관을 이용하는 여성노인 20명을 대상으로 운동그룹(EG:Exercise Group, n=10명, 평균나이:$69.6{\pm}2.2$), 운동프로그램에 참여하지 않은 통제군(CG:Control Group, n=10명, 평균나이:$71.3{\pm}4.6$)으로 나누어 배정하여 12주간 복합하지 근력운동프로그램을 실시하고 낙상위험도 검사를 위하여 BBS(Berg Balance Scale)와 OLST(One-Leg Stance Test)를 이용하여 적용한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. BBS 변화 결과 EG와 CG그룹간의 유의한 차이가 나타났고 OLST의 변화 결과 EG와 CG그룹간의 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 따라서 낙상의 위험도가 높은 노인을 대상으로 복합하지근력운동프로그램의 적용만으로도 낙상위험도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것을 확인할 수 있다.

Immunomodulatory Effects of Eisenia bicyclis on Innate Immune Cells in Acute Exercise-Stress Rat Model

  • In this study we investigated effects of supplementation with ethyl acetate extracts of the brown alga Eisenia bicyclis on innate immune cells to evaluate the possibilities as an immunomoulator in exercise stress. Twenty male SD rats were divided into four groups and the treatments were as follows: A, no Eisenia bicyclis extract (EBE) (200 mg/kg) intake and maintained at rest ; B, no EBE intake and undergoing exercise ; C, EBE intake and undergoing exercise ; D, EBE intake and maintained at rest. After 5 weeks of oral supplementation, rats were undergoing intensive swimming exercises for 2 h and sacrificed to assess the effects on peritoneal macrophages, spleen cells and natural killer (NK) cells. We showed increasing effects on nitric oxide-inducible nitric oxide synthase (NO-iNOS) production by macrophages and no effects of NK tumoricidal activity and suppressive effects on spleen cell proliferation in exercise group. However, EBE supplementation suppressed NO-iNOS production by macrophages and increased NK tumoricidal activity and spleen cell proliferative response to mitogen in exercise group. Overall, these results that EBE supplementation has differential effects on innate immune response and could be useful as sports nutrition.

구선 활인심법이 여성 암 환자의 삶의 질과 불안 및 우울에 미치는 영향 (Coo-Sun activity a man of mind rule and its effect on the quality of life of female cancer patients suffering from anxiety and depression)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to investigate a clinical effect of Coo-Sun activity focusing on improvement of quality of life in female cancer patients. Methods: The subject of study consisted of 5 female cancer patients at the East-West Cancer Center of OO Oriental hospital. The survey methods of this study are Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-General (FACT-G) and State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI). Patients performed Coo-Sun activity 6 times a week and filled out FACT-G and STAI questionnaire after every 3 times training. Results: In FACT-G questionnaire, physical well-being and emotional wellbeing was improved significantly after Coo-Sun activity. And change of social/family well-being and functional well-being score were not significant statistically. In STAI questionnaire, STAI1 was improved significantly after Coo-Sun activity. And change of STAI2 score was not significant statistically. Conclusion: After Coo-Sun activity, quality of life (QOL) in female cancer patients was improved and anxiety was decreased. But this study have limitation to prove effects of Coo-Sun activity completely in female cancer patients. So well designed prospective cohort study will be needed to prove its benefits.

인터렉티브 스쿼트운동기구의 설계방법에 관한 연구 (A Study of the design method for Interactive squat exercise Instrument)

  • 스쿼트운동은 안전하고 효과적인 운동성과를 기대할 수 있는 중요한 프리웨이트운동의 하나로 하체강화운동에 가장 효과적인 운동으로 알려져 있다. 인터렉티브 스쿼트운동 장치를 활용하여 동적인 운동과정을 단순화하여 스쿼트 운동 동작을 모델링하고 이를 기반으로 한 생체신호 및 동작 분석을 수행할 수 있으며 또한 장치를 통해 사용자 자세교정을 통해 올바르고 효과 높은 스쿼트운동 과정을 확립할 수 있다. 제안된 모델링을 기반으로 설계된 풋플레이트에 위치한 로드셀의 검출된 신호를 활용하여 스쿼트동작을 생체신호검출과 검출된 신호처리과정을 거쳐 스쿼트운동의 오류동작을 검출해 내는 신호출력을 확보할 수 있다. 본 논문에서 제안된 인터랙티브 스쿼트운동장치의 설계방법과 동작의 안전성 분석방법은 생체역학 신호처리 방법에 기인하며 사용자의 스쿼트 운동자세를 해석을 위한 검출된 생체신호 및 동작신호를 통해 올바르지 못한 스쿼트 동작을 교정함으로서 바른 스쿼트 운동을 유도할 수 있으며 연구 결과를 VR 장치에 적용하거나 운동 평가를 위한 장치로 활용할 수 있다.

A Study on the Correlation between Bat Swing Speed and Balance Ability in Elementary School Baseball Players

  • 본 연구에서는 초등학교 야구선수의 타격 속도와 균형 능력의 상관관계를 규명을 제안한다. 본 연구의 대상자는 40명이었다. 타격 속도는 zepp2baseball을 이용하여 측정하였고, 균형 능력은 biorescue를 이용하여 측정하였다. 균형능력의 측정은 눈 뜬 상태에서 이동 면적·눈 뜬 상태에서 이동거리·눈 뜬 상태에서 평균 이동속도·눈 감은 상태에서의 이동 면적·눈 감은 상태에서의 이동거리·눈 감은 상태에서의 평균 이동속도를 측정하였다. 타격 속도와 균형 능력 간의 상관관계를 분석하기 위해 피어슨 상관분석을 이용하였다. 타격 속도와 눈 감은 상태에서의 이동면적 사이에는 유의한 음의 상관관계가 있었습니다(r=-0.366, p<0.05). 타격 속도와 눈 감은 상태에서의 이동길이 사이에는 유의한 음의 상관관계가 있었다(r=-0.348, p<0.05). 타격 속도와 눈 감은 상태에서 평균 이동속도 사이에는 유의한 음의 상관관계가 있었다(r=-0.455, p<0.01). 그 중 눈 감은 상태에서 평균 이동속도가 가장 높은 상관관계를 보였다(p<0.01). 이러한 결과는 균형능력의 향상이 타격 속도에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 것을 시사한다.

3D 프린터로 제작된 도구를 이용한 연부조직가동술(IASTM) 적용방법에 따른 근활성도 비교 (Comparison of Muscular Activity in Method with the Application of 3D Printer Maded Instrument Assistant Soft Tissue Mobilization(IASTM) Tools)

  • 본 연구는 3D 프린터로 제작 도구를 이용하여 근육의 주행방향에 대해 강찰법 방향의 차이로 인한 근활성도 차이를 확인하고자 한다. 대상자는 건강한 20대 성인 20명으로 진행하였고, IASTM을 근육 주행방향의 수직 강찰법 중재(수직군)와 근육 주행방향의 수평 강찰법 중재(수평군)를 적용하였으며 대상자를 각 10명씩 배치하였다. 모든 대상자는 중재 전과 후의 근활성도를 독립표본 t-검정과 대응표본 t-검정을 사용하여 측정, 비교하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 수평군에서 근활성도가 감소하였으나 수직군에서 근활성도는 유의한 증가가 나타났다. 이는 IASTM의 적용에 방향성의 차이가 의미가 있음을 알 수 있다.

12주 복합운동이 비만 여고생의 뇌신경세포 생성인자 및 염증인자에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of 12 Weeks Combined Exercise on Brain Nerve Growth Factor, Inflammation-Related Factor in Obese High School Girls)

  • Purpose : To provide data on exercise prescription for obesity management and prevention of cardiovascular disease in girl's high school and to prepare basic data for more effective exercise program for lifestyle improvement and prevention of lifestyle-related diseases. This study examines the effects on brain nerve growth factor and inflammatory factors, and the relationship between obesity factor and brain neuron cell production factor and inflammatory factor changes by complex exercise. Methods : The subjects of the study were obese students with a body fat percentage of 30 % or higher after obtaining body fat percentage of high school girls in C-city. Among them, 20 students who wanted to participate in the program of this study and did not participate in special exercise and diet therapy within the last 6 months were radio-sampled into groups of exercise group and control group, but attendance rate was low and The final exercise group (9) and control group (9) were measured, except for one student who did not respond. Results : Analysis of the range of variation in body composition, BMI, lean body mass, and the interaction between the groups showed significant differences (p<.05). TC, TG, HDL-C, and LDL-C as variables of blood lipids, TC and TG were not significantly different and TG was significantly different (p<.05) in interactions. HDL-C showed a significant difference (p<.01) in interactions, an increase in exercise group, and a significant decrease in control group (p<.05). There was a significant difference (p<.05) in BDNF interaction, an increase in the exercise group and a decrease in the control group, but no significant difference. NGF tended to increase in both exercise and control groups. IL-6 had a significant difference in timing (p<.05) and significantly decreased (p<.01) in the exercise group, and TNF-α interacted with timing (p<.05), and a significant increase in the control group. Conclusion : This study confirmed 12-week compound exercise program was effective in increasing the expression of basal fitness or CNS factor, but not enough to actually improve brain function. Fat mass and obesity are also affecting vascular inflammatory factors.

Yoga Training Improves Metabolic Parameters in Obese Boys

  • Yoga has been known to have stimulatory or inhibitory effects on the metabolic parameters and to be uncomplicated therapy for obesity. The purpose of the present study was to test the effect of an 8-week of yoga-asana training on body composition, lipid profile, and insulin resistance (IR) in obese adolescent boys. Twenty volunteers with body mass index (BMI) greater than the 95th percentile were randomly assigned to yoga (age $14.7{\pm}0.5$ years, n=10) and control groups (age $14.6{\pm}1.0$ years, n=10). The yoga group performed exercises three times per week at 40~60% of heart-rate reserve (HRR) for 8 weeks. IR was determined with the homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance (HOMA-IR). After yoga training, body weight, BMI, fat mass (FM), and body fat % (BF %) were significantly decreased, and fat-free mass and basal metabolic rate were significantly increased than baseline values. FM and BF % were significantly improved in the yoga group compared with the control group (p<0.05). Total cholesterol (TC) was significantly decreased in the yoga group (p<0.01). HDL-cholesterol was decreased in both groups (p<0.05). No significant changes were observed between or within groups for triglycerides, LDL-cholesterol, glucose, insulin, and HOMA-IR. Our findings show that an 8-week of yoga training improves body composition and TC levels in obese adolescent boys, suggesting that yoga training may be effective in controlling some metabolic syndrome factors in obese adolescent boys.

IT 기업 사무직 근로자의 대사증후군 예방을 위한 맞춤형 운동프로그램의 효과 (Effect of Individualized Exercise Program for Preventing Metabolic Syndrome among IT Company Office Workers)

  • Objectives: Interventions promoting physical exercise and healthy habits in workplaces have been shown to be effective in reducing risk factors for metabolic syndrome. This study was conducted to examine the effects of an individualized conditioning exercise program of IT company office workers with or at higher risk of metabolic syndrome. Methods: A total of 444 IT company office workers with or at higher risk of metabolic syndrome participated in a 3-month conditioning exercise program. Body composition data using bioelectrical impedance analysis and cardiopulmonary data using cardiopulmonary exercise testing from 53 individuals (mean age: 34.8 ± 7.1 years, sex : 21% female, height : 170.4 ± 6.8 cm, weight : 75.2±12.2 kg, body mass index : 25.8±3.3 kg/m2) who have successfully completed pre-test, intervention, and post-test were analyzed. The 12 weeks intervention encompassed: (1) health counseling (2) supervised exercise(endurance-based, aerobic exercise, or circuit training once a week for 50 minutes at heart rate reserve(HRR) of 77-95%) (3) self-directed exercise and biweekly health screening checks. Results: The results indicated a significant decrease in body weight, body fat mass and body mass index, respectively. Moreover, VO2peak, AT VO2 and AT Time significantly improved, respectively. Resting blood pressure(SBP/DBP) showed positive changes but were not statistically significant. We observed the correlation between characteristics of participants and rate of changes in cardiopulmonary outcomes of participants, there are no significant correlation. These results indicate positive changes in body composition and cardiorespiratory fitness parameters following individualized conditioning exercise program. Conclusions: Individualized workplace exercise program for preventing metabolic syndrome can lead to improvements in body composition and cardiorespiratory fitness.
