The purpose of this study is to develop a competency-based convergence curriculum for the development of sports marketers, sports talent in the sports industry. For this purpose, we conducted literature analysis, in-depth interviews and job analysis to derive necessary capabilities to become sports marketers, draw up a capability profile, and then developed a capability model through expert verification. Sports marketers ' capacity models were divided into sport marketing / PR and sports events by type of experience, with six common basic competencies including sports mind and 12 professional competencies including sponsorships. Sports marketers education courses developed based on capacity models are composed of understanding of sports industry, sports marketing communication, sports law, understanding of sports facility, sports facilities management, sports sponsorship, sports media, sports licensing, sports agent, sports event planning, sports event management, make a proposal, sports event field practice. The developed training courses for sports marketers will be used in colleges and private education institutions related to the sports industry, contributing to fostering and expanding sports industry talent.
Purpose - The current study is to compare the cognition of stakeholders on hosting a mega sports event between Korea and the United States. In particular, to understand their cognition and perceptual conflict towards hosting a mega sports event, the study employed conflict theory. Furthermore, the study reviewed the role of social capital in the process of managing the mega sports events. Research Design, Data, and Methodology - Of homogeneous sampling, purposeful sampling method and criterion-based selection approach were used to collect interview data from key stakeholders who have been involved in hosting a mega sports events in Korea and the United States. In-depth interview transcripts were reviewed multiple tiems after transcription to extract concepts and meanings that were pertinenet to the experience involving hosting a mega sports event. Further member checks was conducted to increase the credibility of the results. Results - Results can be summarized as followed: First, stakeholders of Korea have a strong desire for positive economic effects of a mega sports event, compared to those in the United States who are more concerned in enhancing the public interests and concerns. Second, in Korea, various socio-political issues emerged at the same time and conflicts among multiple stakeholders have aggravated the situations to coordinate the issues. This was because legal system supporting socio-trust has not been established. On the other hand, major stakeholders of the United States consisted of community members who have socio-trust and networks. Thereby these social resources have been found playing a key role in building social capital that assists the stakeholders to coordinate the current issues and to solve them. Conclusions - The current study analyzed the cognition and perceptual conflict of stakehoders in a mega sports event. Social capital has beend found as a key catalyst to increase a network and cooperation among stakeholders. In order to enhance social capital in managing a mega sports event hosted in Korea, legal systems that establish networks and relationships among the related stakeholders need to be developed. Furthermore, the systematic guideline needs to be developed, organizing the sub-committees according to the types of stakeholders and the categorized common needs.
This study examined social relation of cyber sports supporter's community and social capital as time passes. This study selected spectator sports supporters of cyber sports community based on number of number and history of cyber sports supporter. This community is a representative supporter's club of spectator sports. This study utilized 1,848 members accumulated during three month. To analyze data, Netminer 4.0 and social network analysis were used. The conclusion is following: First, social relation of cyber sports supporter's community showed up dynamic change. Second, social capital of cyber sports supporter's community shows Sports events and training schedules, player transfer, manager, record, game watching and TV watching, cheering, cheering uniform and tools, players, teams and clubs, game photos and video, etc. This is the poor-get-poorer and the rich-get-richer phenomenon.

In this study, the current status of the school sports meeting, school union sports meeting, and social organization sports meeting in the late modern period of Korea was described. Among them, the most held school sports meeting was the birthplace of the beginning and development of modern sports in Korea. And it played a decisive role in promoting physical education in the modern sense to society. The school union sports meeting was initially held for government and imperial purposes, but since 1905, the scale and number of private schools across the country have increased as many private schools have attended sports meetings. It can be seen that these school sports meetings and school union sports meetings had very clear patriotic, ethnic, and enlightening characteristics. Finally, looking at the representative social organization sports meetings in records such as newspapers at the time, it can be seen that their personalities were very diverse. In addition, sports meeting of local women's association, sports meeting of Gyeongseong water supply merchants, and current alumni sports meeting were held. These social organization sports meetings and school union sports meetings played an important role in the development of modern sports and social sports in Korea. More importantly, these sports events developed more and more, which led to the development of various sports competitions.
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between the perfectionism tendency of amateur boxers and exercise exhaustion, to understand the perfectionism tendency of boxers in the sports of speculative sports, and to provide startigic insights for reducing exercise exhaustion. Research design, data, and methodology: In this study, adult boxers registered with the Korean Boxing Association of the Korea Sports Council in 2019 were selected as the research population. 280 boxers participated in the survey and responded the survey items, which were constructed by research variables, perfectionism and burnout. Data were analysed using SPSS version 18.0 for statistics. In details, frequency, correlations, exploratory factor analysis, multiple regressions were conducted to test the proposed relationship. Results: As a result of analysing the relationship between amateur boxers' perfectionism and athletic exhaustion, it was con-firmed that when the self-oriented perfectionism among amateur boxers' perfectionist tendencies was high, it had a significant effect on exercise burnout. Conclusions: In order to reduce the pressure of amateur boxers to win and the pressure to pass through the weight class, which is characteristic of weight control events, if the athlete manages himself well, the athlete's exercise exhaustion will decrease. If professional mental training is combined, it is judged that amateur boxing will be able to develop once again.
Purpose: The marketing practice for the leisure and sports industry is a complex process that requires a thorough understanding of the audience, their needs and motivations. Thus, this niche market is focused on specific products, services, or experiences. The present research explores and suggests meaningful strategies based on the literature textual dataset to provide how to attract consumers in this sector. Research design, data and methodology: We have conducted the 'Secondary Literature Analysis', reviewing and summarizing numerous findings in the relevant prior studies. As a result, we could obtain a total of 15 significant textual resources which are from only peer-reviewed journal article. All resources had a high quality of the instrument to prove their results. Results: The findings of this research pointed out that marketers in leisure sports sector need to communicate via following methods: (1) Understanding the Customers' Needs and Wants, (2) Social Media, (3) Advertising, (4) Promoting Brand Affinity, (5) Offering Discounts, and (6) Providing Value-Added Services. Conclusions: The present research concludes that the marketing practice in the leisure and sports industry should be performed using various channels. In addition, marketing practitioners are supposed to check if tailored marketing messages are compatible with products, services, and events that relate to their target audience's interests.

The aim of this study was to predict the global sports market trend to make developmental and strategic marketing planning for governments, enterprises and scholars. By participating in Delphi, 21 professionals from 12 countries came up with 51 foresights. In addition, the following 7 final results emerged after 3 rounds of discussion. First, integrity issues (e.g., doping and gambling) will increase in the sports industry. Second, the market of youth sports will continue to grow worldwide. Third, the health-oriented sports service will growth, particularly for seniors or people with less wealth. Fourth, the convergence with high-technology, culture and leisure activity will be accelerated. Fifth, mega sports events will receive increasing scrutiny and criticism. Sixth, the leverage of new media (e.g., social media) as well as old media (e.g., TV and magazines) will expand in the sports industry. Finally, globalization, which is similar to the culture phenomenon, will be accelerated in the sports industry.

Today's sports, by themselves, express a wide variety of phenomena and reproduce or imply complex social symbols. The definition of sports being transformed in combination with ideology, which has become a central issue in each era, has become more diverse in recent years. Recently, with the 4th Industrial Revolution leading the social phenomenon, sports culture is producing a new phenomenon. In this era, we need the study in the question of how to understand and interpret sports culture is the right approach. The struggle for survival in each discipline was expressed as a reinterpretation of sports culture. This is to answer questions about how sports culture is consumed, spread and reinterpreted. The purpose of this study is to find out the direction and directing point of sports culture. Based on such problem recognition, five types of answers to what sports culture consumes were presented. Based on this, the fairness related to school sports, sports society-club(sports clubs), sports events, sports media, and sports was suggested as a medium for the spread of sports culture. We are accepting and transforming numerous scientific civilizations to improve sports culture and to promote consumers. However, there is a pity not to define such a thing. Efforts at a more fundamental level, such as cultural regulation and fundamental directions, need to be discussed. The framework of reinterpretation of sports culture should be constantly looking for directions and answers about what to do, not just the level of interpretation.
While the corporate practice of sponsoring major events has existed since the turn of the century, it has only recently become one of the fastest growing areas of advertising and promotion. Despite its long history and recent growth, however, event sponsorship has yet to receive the same kinds of rigorous theoretical and methodological attention that marketing researchers have devoted to other areas of advertising and promotion. Also, the recent Olympic Games in Sydney serve as excellent showcase of the sponsorship phenomenon. On the hand it becomes very clear that an event of such magnitude cannot take place without the commercial support of the sponsors. At the same time, there is a growing concern that the Olympic Games are losing their spirit and are over-commercialized because of the excessive sponsorship-linked marketing activities. At the centre of the debate is the impact and the reaction of the consumers to the growing use of sponsorship to stage major events. While the Olympic Games might be an extreme example of the growth and impact of sponsorship, the proliferation of the phenomenon is widespread across other sports events as well as other cultural and community based events. But a comprehensive model of sponsorship is not currently available in the literature. This research is the aim of the current research to investigate consumer attitude constructs towards sponsorship such as sport involvement, attitude towards the event, attitude towards commercialization. The results still have potentially significant applied and theoretical implication. First, This investigation is the first known effort, grounded in consumer behavior theory, to model antecedent variables believed to influence consumer response to event sponsorship in Korea. Second, these findings are in line with previous research, as sports involvement attitude towards the event, and attitude towards commercialization are found to be significant influences on respondents' ability, motivation and opportunity to process sponsorship information, as well as directly and indirectly impacting emotional response.

Based on the TPB(Theory of Planned Behavior), this study explores the physical education perceived by college students by applying the causal relationship (SEM) to life sports, participation intention, and participation behavior perceived by college students in the Covid-19 environment, and to provide basic data for predicting life sports events. For this, a total of 267 people were analyzed using the mobile program "Survey Monkey" according to the sample plan from December 1, 2020 to May 1, 2020. As a result of the study, it was found that the planned behavior theory had a statistically significant positive(+) correlation with the intention to participate in physical education. The planned behavior theory showed that there was a statistically significant positive(+) correlation with the life sports participation behavior. Lastly, the intention to participate in physical sports was found to have a statistically significant positive(+) correlation with participation in physical sports.
