Damping을 갖는 토크미터형 감속기 (The speed reducer of torque meter type with damping)

  • Planetary Speed Reducer consists of a sun gear, a planetary gear and a ring gear and if one element is fixed at this Speed Reducer, another elements operate to become a drive-axis and a subordination-axis respectively. Planetary Speed Reducer is frequently used for gear Speed Reducer because it has the advantage of having the high efficiency and getting the high Speed Reducer ratio in small space. However, it is difficult to know the current transmitted torque immediately during the use of Speed Reducer and so complicated equipment is installed in addition to protect the overload of system. The object of this paper is to design the Speed Reducer of torque- meter type that can know the torque transmitted using the power transmission feature of a simple Planetary Speed Reducer fixed at ring gear.

다물체 모델링을 이용한 2단 유성식 외륜 고정형 사이클로이드 감속기의 진동특성분석 (Vibration Analysis of Planetary Fixed Outer-ring Type Cycloidal Speed Reducer by using Multi-body Modeling)

  • There are many types of speed reducer for industrial uses. However the cycloid speed reducer is widely used in manipulators based on excellent performance of low backlash, high reduction ratio and compact size. It is essential to use precision speed reducer for accuracy of position controls on robot systems and electric vehicles. The cycloid speed reducer has a eccentric rotating motion and offset to avoid some problem of assembly, so it has a disadvantage for vibration. In this paper, a multi-body dynamic model is developed for a cycloid speed reducer and the dynamic behaviors of the reducer are investigated. The cycloid speed reducer consists of cycloidal plate gears, housing gear, input shaft, output pin and shaft, and eccentric bearings. Using a CAD program, each component of cycloid reducer is modeled based on the offset and eccentric. Multi-body simulations using Recurdyn and test using a rig tester are performed. As a result, the pin reaction force and the amplitude of housing displacement are increased by the larger offset and smaller eccentric value of cycloid reducer.

  • A cycloid speed reducer is a type of the speed reducers. The cycloid speed reducer has a eccentric rotating motion and offset to avoid some problem of assembly, so it has a disadvantage for vibration. 저속 고토크 가혹감속기의 저비용 테스트 시스템 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Low Cost Testing System Development of the Low Speed and High Torque Harsh Reducer)

  • The goal of this research is to verify a performance test system for a low speed, high torque, and harsh reducer at low cost. The reducer rotates a cooling fan with a diameter of 10 meters, in a high temperature (50℃) cooling tower in a geothermal power plant. It requires about 500 kgf·m torque and 47.75 kW power to rotate the fan at a maximum power condition. An expensive dynamometer is commonly used for performance test of a motor or a reducer. In this paper, a low cost system is developed using a hydraulic pump as a load unit to generate torque instead of a dynamometer. We accurately calculated the required power, the flow meter, and the pressure of the pump, and selected to design and optimize the system at minimal cost. The system also applied another reverse reducer and a gearbox to increase the rotational speed and to reduce the torque from the low speed and high torque target reducer. This allows low-cost systems to be built using inexpensive components. The developed system was able to successfully measure the high torque and the low rotational speed of the target reducer at high temperature.

마찰효과를 고려한 사이클로이드 감속기의 작용력 해석에 관한 연구 (A Study on Contact Force Analysis of Plate Gears for Cycloidal Speed Reducer with Friction Effect)

  • A cycloidal speed reducer is a type of the speed reducers of machinery. The cycloidal speed reducer consists of two cycloidal plate gears, housing roller gear, input shaft, output pin and shaft, and eccentric bearings. Especially the cycloidal plate gear has the peculiar parts of the teeth, because of gearing with the housing roller gear that has the several rollers on the circular line. And then all teeth on the cycloidal plate gear can be designed to contact with the rollers on the housing roller gear at the same time. Therefore the cycloidal plate gear has always contact motion with rollers and the force is interacted between roller gear with cycloidal plate gear. Because the contact force and friction force must be required to improve the accuracy in design procedures of cycloidal speed reducers, this paper presents a force analysis considered friction effect approach derived by static force equilibrium condition, geometrical adaptation, instant velocity center method and relative velocity method.

2속 변속 감속기의 구조 안전성 분석과 위험속도 해석 (Structural Safety and Critical Speed Analysis of 2-Speed Shift Reducer)

  • The structure and operating principle of the 2-speed shift reducer were explained, the allowable bending stress value of the material was compared with the analysis result through FM structural analysis program, and the average stress distribution value of von Mises was performed on the gear root atmosphere. The structural safety of the 2-speed planetary gear reducer was verified through FM structural analysis. The natural frequency was calculated by applying the specifications of the planetary gears of the 2-speed gearbox, and the critical speed of resonance was calculated by calculating the natural frequency and the transmission error of the engaged gear pair. As a result of analyzing the critical speed, since it is formed higher than the actual operating speed range, it is considered safe because there is no resonance problem due to the suggested specifications of the planetary gears of the 2-speed shift reduction.

유한요소해석을 이용한 선박수송차량용 사이클로이드 감속기의 성능 검토 (Performance Review of a Cycloid Speed Reducer for Ship Transport Vehicles using FEM)

  • 사이클로이드 감속기는 기계의 회전수를 조절하기위한 장치이다. 사이클로이드 감속기는 큰 토크로 변환시킬 수 있는 장점이 있지만 높은 회전수 에는 적합하지 않다. 한편 200톤 하중이 가해지는 수송기기에 있어서 감속기의 사용한계속도를 찾아내기는 불가능하다. 본 연구에서는 LS-DYNA를 이용하여 마찰손실동력을 수치 해석적으로 검토하였다. 최대토크3.5ton-m에 있어서 회전수 60rpm 그리고 162rpm으로 구동하여 해석을 수행한 결과 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 60rpm회전의 경우 최대응력은 RV gear의 경우 463MPa 핀기어의 경우 507MPa이 발생하였다. 마찰손실동력은 50kW이며, 162rpm의 경우 최대응력값은 RV gear와 핀기어 각각 550MPa, 538MPa이 발생하였다. 손실동력은 175kW이 발생하여 사용이 불가능하다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

  • 벨트나 체인을 이용한 감속기는 간단한 장치이긴 하지만 공간을 많이 차지하여 공간상의 제약이 있기 때문에 전동휠체어 구동부에는 부적합하다. 하지만 유성기어형태의 감속기는 동일 축에서 감속이 이루어지기 때문에 부피를 작게 할 수 있어 공간의 제약이 벨트나 체인형태의 감속기보다 덜하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 수·전동전환이 가능한 휠체어의 구동부에 대한 연구를 통하여 유성기어형태를 이용한 감속기로 큰 추진력을 얻을 수 있는 구동부를 개발하였다. 그에 따라 감속기에 적용되는 유성기어의 치형을 Kisssoft 프로그램을 이용하여 설계를 진행하였다. 또한 기존 휠체어 바퀴에 적용 가능하도록 구동부의 설계를 진행하였고, 구동부의 수·전동 전환원리 및 작동원리에 대한 메커니즘의 최적화를 진행하였다. 연구내용을 토대로 하나의 선기어와 2개의 유성기어, 하나의 링기어를 갖는 유성기어 형태의 휠체어 감속기 구동부의 최종 설계 및 제작을 진행하였다.

  • High precision speed reducer which has a cycloid or involute teeth profile, used to in Robot. In this study, suggest to a new teeth profile, which has basically a triangle teeth profile. We had a stress analysis compare to convenient speed reducer for teeth profile. We has a good results in new teeth profile for strength, stress and stiffness.
