In this paper, our study for the recognition of Hand-written Korean characters, Arabic numbers and alphabets by neural netwoks. This System extracts feature of character by using the MESH feature point of handwritten character, Arabic numbers and alphabets. To reduce the input image data, features are extracted from each input images. A MLP(multi-layer perceptron) with one hidden layer was trained with a modified BEP(back error propagation) algorithm. This method extracts feature sets of the characters directly from the scanner and can enhance computation speed without using the special preprocesses such as size normalization, smoothing, and thinning.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the problems in assumption of the distinguished behaviors of hospitalized dementia patients- which can be easily emerged and recognized in senile dementia patients and their distinctive behavior characters in different physical environment per person. Furthermore, it is to suggest a fundamental data to improve physical environment of the different facilities and the design guidelines for reconstruction in terms of the new and therapeutic function of the dementia specialized department. For planning on the dementia specialized hospital, considerablely, security and safety, comfortableness, personal identification of the facility, emotional stability and the proper stimulation for the patients are emphasized according to the research on the frequent and major issues of the patients from their own dwelling place.

The Insulation, which is consist of the glass wool, mineral wool or perforated SUS plate, installed on the wall or under ceiling for the protecting heat and the blocking the noise of engine room area. In our shipyard, designing the structure model of insulation is hard and difficult, Because designed the insulation model is considered of any factors which are hull model properties of panel shape, direction and thickness and service of area. In this paper, We issue the way to utilize shape and direction of the hull model information and specific character of working space in engine room.

The object of this study is to look for how to develop the style of residence formed spontaneously on the steep area by looking into the street-network and resident character in residence area and analysing fundamental style of residence. Specially, It is not easy to find out a study of a sea-village in the steep area. So, it is urgent to be developed a road-system and a style of residence which are able to be adapted to special circumstances and situation of ground. Therefore, th found out characters that a steep area contains, contents that are analyzed in this study are as follows : First, the order and the style of road-net formed to be adapted to circumstances of ground. Second, the style of road which is formed by directions. Third, the style of alley. Fourth, the relations with which alley and Madang are confronted each other.

In this article, I singled out the examples of punishment and compensation seen in Liaozhaizhiyi which is an eighteenth century collection of short stories, and reconstructed the viewpoint of Chinese fortune and misfortune and furthermore presented the cultural meanings that this viewpoint has. The traits of Chinese culture seen in Liaozhaizhiyi are classified as follows: ① Only after carrying on a family line by birth of son(s), a happy conclusion can be made. ② AMain character passes state exam or alternatively his son(s) passes them. ③ Beautiful women / women given as reward have special abilities and talents. ④ Mostly, punishment and Compensation are made on a family basis, not on an individual basis. ⑤ Misfortune derives from a main character's desire; fortune from his sacrifice. ⑥ Norm and criteria for the punishment and compensation are based on confucianism but the procedure of the execution is based on taoism, buddhism, transcendent being and rules of folk religions.

This research has chosen the animation character creation as a part of research for effective communication with audience due to the character taste getting diversity. The way of characters creation in this research suggest as follows. First, animation character action and a way of thinking, which makes regulation factor is a global outlook. It expresses a outer factors include appearance, style, action, facial expressions, tone of voice, hobbies, occupation, status and internal factors shows nature, conception, culture. Second, the given condition of general tendency of animation character, Cultural background, and Key characteristics and experiences is built up by global outlook. Third, the attractive of animation character show up the familiarity, originality, fun, various senses, and flexibility. Fourth, it is harmony of new global outlook and character. The establishment of animation character is that the familiarity which is easy approach to audience with special global outlook, the originality which is different from other works, fun with laugh, at different times in different ways to interact with more flexibility, various sense to be delivered to audience for easy setting is the most desirable.

The purpose of this study is to figure out how stage costume of Peking Opera communicates what the character wants to inform to spectator. The stage costume means the clothing, shoes, headdress, accessory that the cast is worn for communicating personality of character. Stage costume not only reveals the character of new spirit who the director and the work is like to create, but also makes the style of play harmonizing with the atmosphere of the work. So, the stage costume in the play is a sort of symbol system that forms the depth of play. The stage costume of Peking Opera was formed on the basis of the Chinese traditional stage costume in the Qing period, however the style of stage costume was beautified the costume of Ming period and here contained the factors of successive costumes. But the stage costume of Peking Opera don't have the same rank system with real history costume and don't have demarcation according to period and history. Only it is that transformed and created the real history costume with Chinese fine view and made how they wear Chinese fine view and made how they wear the costume according to position, age, personality of character in the play. In the stage costume of Peking Opera, the color is cultural language that director can communicate to spectators and can inform spectator of sex, age, personality, position of the character. The color of the stage costume of Peking Opera reflects the principles of Yin and Yang and the five elements of the Chinese cosmogony. The pattern of decoration also makes the personality and characteristic of the character. The dragon pattern symbols the authority and majesty, so only the character of high position can use it. The pattern of tiger and leopard symbols bravery, so the military officer can use it. Civil officer decorates with the pattern of Japanese apricot, orchid, chrysanthmum, bamboo that symbols integrity and honor. The stage costume of Peking Opera communicates the identity of character with the special form of costume. Kanjien is a costume of the young priestess, Houyi is the Sunwukong'costume. Chayi is a costume of boatman. Lingzi, Sweixiu, Kaoqi is the props for the foramtive effect of stage costume, also they play an important part in expressing the emotion situation. In the result of study, we could know that the form, color, pattern of the stage costume and props of Peking Opera play important parts in communicating informations that let spectator can understand the play. So, the stage costume of Peking Opera is an‘picturizing costume’that the form, color, pattern of the stage costume is a sort of symbol system. It makes spectator feels actually the viewing Peking Opera.

In this paper, brake steering performance of electric-driven special-purpose vehicles is investigated. A 14 DOF model is developed considering nonlinear character- istics of the suspension and tire. Based on the model, cornering performance is analyzed for brake steering, acceleration steering and pivoting, respectively. Simulation results are obtained based on the developed SIMULINK module. This analysis about the non steady state cornering performance is particularly important for armored vehicles because the projected route of the vehicle at emergency should be predicted accuracy.

We address a new representation of DCT/DFT/Wavelet matrices via one hybrid architecture. Based on an element inverse matrix factorization algorithm, we show that the OCT, OFT and Wavelet which based on Haar matrix have the similarrecursive computational pattern, all of them can be decomposed to one orthogonal character matrix and a special sparse matrix. The special sparse matrix belongs to Jacket matrix, whose inverse can be from element-wise inverse or block-wise inverse. Based on this trait, we can develop a hybrid architecture.

The most fundamental elements in analyzing the structure of building are strength of maerials and value of loads. The applied loads of structural analysis in our country are classified into the dead and live loads. This study, with special reference to live load, is to suggest the stochastic character of live load and the appropriate live load by using the Monte-carlo Simulation method, one of the O. R(Operations Research) techniques acting on school buildings.
