A hybrid tabu-simulated annealing algorithm is proposed for the optimum design of steel frames. The special character of the hybrid algorithm is that it exploits both tabu search and simulated annealing algorithms simultaneously to obtain near optimum. The objective of optimum design problem is to minimize the weight of steel frames under the actual design constraints of AISC-LRFD specification. The performance and reliability of the hybrid algorithm were compared with other algorithms such as tabu search, simulated annealing and genetic algorithm using benchmark examples. The comparisons showed that the hybrid algorithm results in lighter structures for the presented examples.

This study examined the special features and domestic status of the shared-house from the increasing number of single-person households, and also studied demand characteristics of the shared-house targeting young single-person household. Moreover, it found affecting factors of residential inclination on the shared-house with the binary logic model. Some of field research and interviews for the survey were conducted, and the analyzed result from this study as follows: Firstly, the domestic shared-house, introduced between the end of 2012 and early 2013, has been rapidly increased and has some features such as decreasing in housing expenses and increasing in social interaction. Secondly, the demand for shared-house by residential experience of single-person household differs according to the demographic characteristics. Thirdly, the factors that affect residential inclination of shared-house are character types, community life experience, awareness, and need for shared house.

6 Sigma movement is the quality innovation activity which Motorola, a nineteen eighties' top-ranking American company of electronics and communication, has started to survive the Japanese companies' frightening gami-gaze. In early days, it's just applicated for reducing customers' complain by eliminations inferior goods centering round producing activity and filling up the competitive market's demand for price and delivery deadline. Nowaday, 6 Sigma application has created a boom extending to a company's most activity fields without any exact scrutiny of 6 Sigma. Although 6 Sigma movement starts from the question of what customers want not by cutting off the inferiority rate but by cutting out causes of producing inferior goods, the service industry has a special character that makes it difficult to compute the level of Sigma. Thus this research examines suitability for introduction of 6 Sigma to the Service Industry.

We discussed the formative nature of a city square reffered to be the frame of creating environment in the this study. We raised a question that the place, the size and the form of a city square are out of harmony with a surrounding environmental condition, and examined the functional effect and the formate value of a sunken square at the same time. We got hold of the special shape and the specific character, the distinctive structure, and the influence of the minute temperature of a cuty aquare, and showed the improved direction how to make them better focusing on the target square of a cosmopolitan city of Seoul. Finally, to correct the above-mentioned problems, we emphasized the our traditional city square which is reffered to have a peculiar property, and proposed that a public institutuion should develope the city square, and should make an effort to reflect the design based on the scientific experiment.

With a history of over 100 years, animation is an art of film and television, and a diversified special form of art as well. Animation scene design is not just about scenic painting but also a time-space formative art that serves for film and television animation, presents story plots, unveils dramatic conflicts and depicts character personalities. Scene design requires both high creativity and artistry. Scene design shall cover the living places, social environment, natural environment and historical environment where the characters live. The use of color is an important part in animation creation. In terms of scene design, it plays a significant role in building up the scene atmosphere, promote the plot and enriching screen contents. Focused on Uproar in Heaven-a classic Chinese animation, this paper analyzes the traditional characteristics of Chinese animation scene color and discusses the application and development of color.

Multimedia boom has happened worldwide these days. In multimedia, we use several kinds of media such as character, figure, voice, music, still images, moving picture etc.. Then I think image including moving picture is the most effective and important media for human being. Creating digital images using a computer has the following two main approaches, depending on how the computer is used. 1. CG Technology. Created images, produced through computer graphics. 2. Digital Image Processing. Images processed through digital image processing technologies. Approach (1) is very popular as Computer Graphics. Two-dimensional and three-dimensional computer graphics techniques are used over wide applications today. On the other hand, Approach (2), which uses digital image processing technology, has been attracting attention lately, in the filed of movies and television. In this report, I will introduce these approaches of CG and digital image processing, and show some application fields such as current movies.

A discontinuous Galerkin method with interior penalty terms is presented for linear Sobolev equation. On appropriate finite element spaces, we apply a symmetric interior penalty Galerkin method to formulate semidiscrete approximate solutions. To deal with a damping term $\nabla{\cdot}({\nabla}u_t)$ included in Sobolev equations, which is the distinct character compared to parabolic differential equations, we choose special test functions. A priori error estimate for the semidiscrete time scheme is analyzed and an optimal $L^\infty(L^2)$ error estimation is derived.

This study for hair, traditional ornamentation and make up style of Korea, China, Japan. Their special aesthetic character of hair ornamentation and styles are similar difference of costume aesthetics. First we study about hair style of three countries We can find their different development characteristics of aesthetics and customes, cultural style of three countries. It is translated plain and simple for Korean, exaggerative and decorative for Chinese, romantic decoravive and decoration of Tang Dynasty influnced for Japanes. All styles are showed in modern oriental styles.

This paper makes a report of Shaman\`s ritual performed among Korean resiednts in Japan as socio-historical facts, and this also examines the symbolic meanings of Shamans\` costumes. The results are as follows ; 1) At the ritual of Jungsip-Wang Maji, Shamans wear Gwandae, Kunbok, Jangsam, Durumaki, and Chima-jugori. These costumes show that their wearers are priests and gods at the same time. 2) The reason why Simbang performs the ritual in different costumes at different Jaechas is that each object-god needs different costumes to represent its different character. 3) Shamans\` instruments consist of musical instruments and other instruments. Among the musical instruments are such percussions as Buk, Jing, Janggo and Sulsae. Among other insttruments are Sindo, Sanban and Yoryung. 4)Shamans think that the musical instruments have magic powers to drive out minor demons and invite gods. Sindo, Sanban and Yoryung are thought to be the symbolic instruments representing god\`s will.

The purpose of this study was to see that how about the related variables influence on the use of the microwave oven and how about the use of the microwave oven influence on the time spent in meal preparation and meal management. Questionaires were give to randomly selected homaker's, in kwangju in August, 1986. Data from the 149 response were analyzed according to multiple regression. The results were as follows; 1. The variables affecting the use of the microwave oven were family income, homaker's employed hours, homakers' education level, a period of use a microwave oven, congnition of a special character in a microwave oven, family style of participation in meal preparation, frequency in use of instant food. 2. The variables of the use the microwave oven was significantly influence on the time spent in meal preparation. 3. The variables of the use the microwave oven was not significantly influence on meal management.
