A well designed disabled home needs to consider various design principles and variables. It should consider not only physical accessibility but also psychological aspects. Previous research studies have shown that barrier-free/universal designs which were primarily focused on physical access and usage of facilities and building operations. This research paper will examine, a selection of refurbished disabled homes, introduced by the Korean Disabled People's Development Institutes in 2013. The plan samples are to be analyzed using the Visual Access and Exposure spatial analysis program coupled with supporting information extracted from consultations and feedback from experienced professional disabled home staff members. This research paper aims to propose the usage and viability of VAE Analysis in the design and planning of disabled home layouts. The purpose of this study is to specify the differences in visual spatial relationships between the plans before and after refurbishment in accordance to staff and user requirements. This will ensure a bettered environment for the users and ensuring an optimized of spatial programming and building operation and usage.

Korea has been striving for the development of the nation in various aspects. It will also have to make an effort for its continued development in the future. The problems of low-income groups that occur in those processes cannot be simply ignored now. It is needed to provide an equal opportunity to low-income groups so that they can be part of the society. The cycle of economic problem should be disconnected through this process. Farm-Housing is one of the solutions to this problem. Its purposes are not only to provide residence in the complex, but to gain income through various activities, such as production, distribution and consumption, and solve part of the economic problems of the people living in the Farm-Housing. To sell the products of Farm-Housing, the neighboring cities need to be designated as a hinterland. For this reason, Farm-Housing needs to be located in the suburban area of large cities. However, the current laws and policies make it difficult to construct Farm-Housing in suburban areas. Presenting plans to solve such problem is the purpose of this paper.

Purpose: The Hybrid care environment, combining interventional procedures and surgeries in one space, is crucial for managing complex diseases, responding to emergencies, and reducing recovery times and pain. This study provides foundational data for creating architectural guidelines for a Hybrid Operating Unit in a general hospital's surgical department, focusing on cardiovascular care. Methods: The study analyzed the spatial and configuration types of the Vascular Angiography Unit and the Cardiac Operating Unit, which are the basic components of the Hybrid Operating Unit, through a literature review. Based on the initial research findings, interviews with experts were conducted. Results: In the Hybrid Operating Process, the study proposed spatial configuration alternatives that consider the positioning of medical staff and the types and arrangement changes of equipment, including Angiography, Heart-lung machines, and other surgical tools and instruments. Implications: The integration of the two units leads to increased diversity and demand for medical staff, equipment, and supplies during surgical and interventional procedures. Therefore, strategic spatial configurations and equipment placement are necessary to effectively respond to these needs.

The construction of settlement house in a permanent rental housing development area started between 1989 and 1992, planning of supplying two hundred fifty thousand residences, settlement house became compulsory as a welfare facilities. As a part of Welfare program for low income families, number of settlement housing increased dramatically, also domiciliary welfare center was beginning to set up as a branch of settlement housing to strengthen its service towards families and local communities, thus numerous social welfare organizations play a crucial part in resolving a welfare problem for low income families while satisfying local community's needs. However, despite of these efforts, the number if institutions cannot handle demand of local community's needs and number of welfare institution programs. as a solution, the alternation of space is being used, however, it did not solve basic problem, even worsen in terms of space efficiency.

The number of households in the country is expected to rise from 16,420,000 in 2007 to 19,870,000 in 2030, an increase of 21%. This is because while the population itself decreases due to a low birth rate, the number of households rapidly multiplies with the increase of nuclear family and single-person households. The ratio of single-person household is increasing every year at demographics data. The design that suits their needs, however, is not fully explored yet. The purpose of this study is to find out single-person household's lifestyles, and to search and analyze users' needs for spatial composition according to their lifestyles, and then, propose a single-person housing's plan and direction.

The purpose of this study was to suggest the spatial structure among residential behaviors in relation to work space. To find the structure, Multi-Dimensional Scaling analysis was used. Respondents were 349 middle income housewives living in apartments in the area of Caopital region. Data were collected through the questinnaire survey. For the future residential interior design, following points were sugtested. A laundary space neess to be developed independently , being separated from both bathroom and kitchen/dining space. A new area which will give housewives some territoriality and also function as home office needs to be considered. A space configuration which satisfies the organic relationships among laundary behaviors such as washing dying, ironing and folding , needs to be systematically planned, with two adjoining separate zones of wet and dry utility . The present bathroom nees to be more incorporated to the private bedroom rather than to workspace.

The purpose of this study is to clarify the daily living activities of the elderly with dementia and user oriented spatial needs of the staff in the common space of nursing home in Japan. Data was taken from six units of the 2 skilled facilities. The results revealed as follows; 4 types of elderly activities were founded, and physical environmental characteristics affected residents' space usage. And it was perceived like as living oriented space, social interaction space, facility space, staff oriented space. Conclusively it was suggested to plan dining space as semi-private space, day corner as semi-public space.

Mountain trails play an important role in the daily life and health of the citizens, and also are major areas for recreation operators strive to balance the needs of pedestrian with the needs of wildlife and health improvement. In this view point, this research aims at analyzing the slope of mountain trails using mobile GPS and suggesting the suitable path to citizens for improving health. The result shows that the trail slope analysis by using mobile GPS could be effectively evaluated the degree of walk difficulty.

The aim of this study was to grasp demands of residents about floor plans. This study grasped needs of residents through small group workshop that is composed of housewives. The data from this was analyzed by the side of human behavior in residence space privacy, private space, territoriality, intimacy or social interaction, delightfulness. the major findings are as follows; floor plans of apartment separate of private and public space evidently. But each space has to have possible of extension and combination. It is supported by systematical storage and variable wall system.

Museum has been advanced according to the change of the society, playing a role of social education for people as a public place. However, many museum have limited which does not allow the museum to act various roles for public needs such as resting, entertaining, educating. Accordingly, this research has intention to solve the problem that the museum cannot satisfy public various needs by functional adaptation of the space; the theory of variable space. The objective of this research is to try to find the problems and solutions from museum space through research about Spatial variability and to analyze expression special quality of museum that is used as variable. Therefore, this research is to lay the foundation of Variable application technique of educational space of museum hereafter.
