Recently, deep recurrent neural networks have achieved great success in various machine learning tasks, and have also been applied for sound event detection. The detection of temporally overlapping sound events in realistic environments is much more challenging than in monophonic detection problems. In this paper, we present an approach to improve the accuracy of polyphonic sound event detection in multichannel audio based on gated recurrent neural networks in combination with auditory spectral features. In the proposed method, human hearing perception-based spatial and spectral-domain noise-reduced harmonic features are extracted from multichannel audio and used as high-resolution spectral inputs to train gated recurrent neural networks. This provides a fast and stable convergence rate compared to long short-term memory recurrent neural networks. Our evaluation reveals that the proposed method outperforms the conventional approaches.
Acoustic sounds generated by uniform flow around a two-dimensional circular cylinder at Re=150 are simulated by applying the finite difference lattice Boltzmann method. A third-order-accurate up-wind scheme is used for the spatial derivatives. A second-order-accurate Runge-Kutta scheme is also used for time marching. Very small acoustic pressure fluctuation, with same frequency as that of Karman vortex street, is compared with pressure fluctuation around a circular cylinder. The propagation velocity of acoustic sound shows that acoustic approaching the upstream, due to the Doppler effect in uniform flow, slowly propagates. For the downstream, on the other hand, it quickly propagates. It is also apparent that the size of sound pressure is proportional to the central distance ${\gamma}$$\^$-1/2/ of the circular cylinder.
The author performed this study for investigation of the magnitude of mandibular positional change caused by joint sound during mandibular opening and closing movement. There have been many studies stated mandibular border movement or other functional movement, and there also have been many studies reported clicking sound related to mandibular movement speed, trajectory and clinicl course of temporomandibular disorders(TMDs), but there have not been so many studies stated spatial mandibular position accompanied by joint sound. For this study 46 TM joint from the patients with TMDs were used and they were compared by character and occuring phase of the joint sound. Synchronized data which were amplitude and frequency of joint sound and amount of mandibular positional change were collected through sonopak and BioEGN rotate of Biopak system, respectively. Mandibular position was analyzed for translational and rotational movement change between before and after joint sound. The obtained data were processed with SAS program and summary of this paper were as follows : 1. Mean value of the amount of translational movement in whole joints were 6.0mm in vertical direction, 3.3mm in anteroposterior direction and 0.8mm in lateral direction between before and after joint sound. 2. Mean value of the amount of translational movement in clicking joinnts showed slightly increased tendency than in popping joints. 3. The amount of mandibular change in translational movement during closing phase were more than during opening phase. 4. The amount of mandibular rotational change in whole joints were $1.1^{\circ}$, 1.0mm in frontal plane and $0.9^{\circ}$, and 0.8mm in horizontal plane. 5. The amount of rotational movement were more in clicking joints than in popping joints and were more during closing phase than during opening phase, but statistically significance were showed only in frontal plane.

This thesis deals with a method to deliver more realistic sound by cancelling the cross-talk which is inherent to the 5.1 channel speaker system. First, the cross-talk cancellation method that eliminates cross-talks on the path from left speaker to right ear and from right speaker to left ear is explained. Then the application and replaying method using the cross-talk cancellation explained here is introduced. The acoustical model for cross-talk cancellation is the free field model This model minimizes distortion of sound. Many experts also make studies on this model. I used the bark scale sound quality compensation based on psycho-acoustic. For the surround channels, band-limited sound quality compensation is performed in the frequency domain.
This paper deals a method to deliver more realistic sound by cancelling the cross-talk which is inherent to the 5.1 channel speaker system. The acoustical model for cross-talk cancellation is the free field model. This model minimizes distortion of sound. 1 used the bark scale sound quality compensation which based on psycho-acoustic. For the surround channels, band-limited sound quality compensation is performed in the frequency domain. I also performed the sound qualify assessment test on the traditional 2 channel stereo and 5.1 channel system. This test is performed in the tort chamber which satisfies the ITU-R specifications. 1 uses the IACC(Inter-Aural Cross-Correlation) to determine the preferences of the amateur and the golden ear experts to asses the trans-aural filter. According to the result from the proposed method, I got more the 38dB separation rates with the Dolby standard speaker array. The results on the diffusion by the subjective test with the experts shows 0.4∼0.5 point Increased then before.

This paper presents a beamforming technique for locating impulsive sound source. The conventional frequency-domain beamformer is advantageous for localizing noise sources for a certain frequency band of concern, but the existence of many frequency components in the wide-band spectrum of impulsive noise makes the beamforming image less clear. In contrast to a frequency-domain beamformer, it has been reported that a time-domain beamformer can be better suited for transient signals. Although both frequency- and time-domain beamformers produce the same result for the beamforming power, which is defined as the RMS value of its output, we can use alternative directional estimators such as the peak value and crest factor to enhance the performance of a time-domain beamformer. In this study, the performance of three different directional estimators, the peak, crest factor and RMS output values, are investigated and compared with the incoherent interfering noise embedded in multiple microphone signals. The proposed formula is verified via experiments in an anechoic chamber using a uniformly spaced linear array. The results show that the peak estimation of beamformer output determines the location with better spatial resolution and a lower side lobe level than crest factor and RMS estimation in noise free condition, but it is possible to accurately estimate the direction of the impulsive sound source using crest factor estimation in noisy environment with stationary interfering noise.
Aalto designed his own modern architecture in comparison with other modern architects of his days. It is because Aalto went beyond the principle of dogmatic functionalism based on his attitude not to copy images of functionalism but to fulfill function of the building. He decided architectural form and space according to logical basis including the effective use of light and sound. Vuoksenniska church, as is called the most exceptional and notable church in his works, was designed based on the fulfillment of program. As he knew that the program needed the extension of the main church space into social areas, he put emphasis on individuality of space rather than the wholeness of space. Sound and light analysis of Vuoksenniska church shows that Aalto tried to have adequate environment of each space at the start and Integrate them later. The spatial configuration of Vuoksenniska church shows that the individuality of space has priority over the wholeness of spaces. Discordance between roof form and ceiling is the best example for this matter. Aalto designed various windows that have different sizes, figure and location to induce desirable light for each space of the church. He also adjusted the shape of the ceiling and the angle of wall for a effective sound transmission. This result indicates that he knew the activity of the church is normally confined to one weekly morning and the whole space Is hardly used as a religious purpose.

In these days the floor vibration is beginning to make its appearance of the environmental dispute in dwelling building. Standard floor system are suggested for the settlement of this issue by government. The sound of floor impact sound is needed to secure comfortable quality in housing. Also, it is required an accurate analysis and a proper evaluation for floor vibration. Refine model is necessary for the floor system of housing to analyze accurately the floor vibration. But this refine model is not efficient because it is required so much running time for vibration analysis and it is difficult of modeling of standard floor slab. In this paper, new modeling methods of standard floor slab are proposed for the accurate rigidity evaluation. By using the new modeling method, the accurate vibration response can be obtained and can accurately evaluate the rigidity of standard floor system with resilient materials. Therefore the proposed modeling method is of practical use for vibration analysis of floor system of housing.
This paper reviews the improved moving frame acoustic holography (MFAH) method and its application. Moving frame acoustic holography was originally proposed to increase the aperture size and the spatial resolution of hologram by using a moving line array of microphones. The hologram of scanned plane can be obtained by assuming the sound field to be product of spatial and temporal information. Although conventional MFAH was only applied to sinusoidal signals, it allows us to visualize the noise generated by moving noise sources by employing a vertical line array of microphones affixed to the ground. However, the sound field generated by moving sources becomes different from that of stationary ones due to the movement of the sources. Firstly, this paper introduces the effect of moving noise sources on the obtained hologram by MFAH and the applicability of MFAH to the visualization of moving sources. Secondly, this paper also reviews improved MFAH that can visualize a coherent narrow band noise and a pass-by noise. The practical applicability of the improved MFAH was demonstrated by visualizing tire noise during a pass-by test.
