  • 본 연구에서는 차폐구조 내부에 위치한 소음원의 체적이 비교적 큰 근접 음향 차폐구조로 취급하여, 구조 내부의 공간적 음장분포해석(spatial sound distribution analysis)은 하지 않고 단지 소음원의 표면과 차폐 벽면 간의 공기층에 의한 간섭 영향을 고려하면서, 차폐로 인한 음압의 상승(build up)효과를 고려하여, 직육면체의 형상을 가지는 차폐구조에 부착되는 각각의 벽면들의 음향 삽입손실(Insertion Loss, IL) 특성을 전달매트릭스 기법(Transfer Matrix Analysis, TMA)을 이용하여 해석하였으며, 이러한 벽면들에 대한 이론 해석의 결과로 제작된 벽면들의 음향차폐특성을 시험을 통해 나타내었다.

  • In this presentation, a power-based spatial filtering procedure with application to spherical acoustical holography is presented. Planar and cylindrical holography are the most widely used amongst the various nearfield acoustical holography techniques. However, when the geometry of a source is similar to a sphere. spherical holography may yield better results than other types of holography since there are no errors due to truncation of the sound field in the spherical case. 부분 소음원들의 포함과 삭제를 위한 STSF 기법에서의 Reference의 사용

  • 음장의 공간적 변환(Spatial Transformation of Sound Field; STSF)기법의 주요 원리를 간단히 소개한 뒤, STSF에서 Reference 신호의 사용을 보다 상세히 취급하고자 한다. Reference의 보통의 형태(표준 Reference)는 음장 모델에 포함될 전체음장의 일부분, 즉 이 Reference의 연관이 있어 포함될 부분을 결정한다. 결국 한 개 의 표준 Reference는 항상 적용되어져야 한다. 2번째 Reference의 형태(삭제용 Reference)는 모델로부터 원치 않는 무관한 음장성분을 제거하는데 적용된다. 이 Reference와 밀접한 음장 부분이 모델로부터 제거될 것이고, 그렇지 않는 경우는 포함된다. 실제 예에서는 삭제용 Reference가 암소음의 억제와, 음원의 어떤 독립 적인 성분의 억제를 위해 어떻게 적용되는가를 보인다.

음선이론을 이용한 백령도 부근해역 다중빔 수심측량 자료의 수직.수평 오차 분석 (A precision analysis of Baengnyeongdo Multi-beam echosounder data using acoustic ray theory)

  • 2009년 국립해양조사원은 백령도 부근 해역에 대해 바다로 1호에 장착된 Simrad EM3000 다중빔 음향측심기를 이용한 수심측량조사를 실시하였으며 정확한 음속보정을 위해 1일 $7{\sim}10$회 이상의 음속을 관측하였다. 백령도 주변해역은 계절에 따라 여러 질 수괴(쿠로시오 난류, 황해 연안수 등)가 복잡하게 분포하여 여러 형태의 수온 전선이 형성되어 수층 음속 깊이가 최대 10m/s 이상의 차이를 나타냈다. 또한 난수괴 유입으로 인해 수온약층의 깊이가 지역별로 다르게 분포 하였다. 이러한 음속의 국지적 변화는 다중빔을 이용한 수심측량 자료의 정확도를 저하시키는 요인으로 작용한다. 따라서 다중빔을 이용한 수심측량 자료의 정확도를 저하시키는 요인으로 작용한다. 따라서 백령도 주변해역 수심측량 자료의 수평 수직 변화를 음선추적 이론을 이용하여 확인하였다.

Audio-visual Spatial Coherence Judgments in the Peripheral Visual Fields

  • Auditory and visual stimuli presented in the peripheral visual field were perceived as spatially coincident when the auditory stimulus was presented five to seven degrees outwards from the direction of the visual stimulus. Furthermore, judgments of the perceived distance between auditory and visual stimuli presented in the periphery did not increase when an auditory stimulus was presented in the peripheral side of the visual stimulus. As to the origin of this phenomenon, there would seem to be two possibilities. One is that the participants could not perceptually distinguish the distance on the peripheral side because of the limitation of accuracy perception. The other is that the participants could distinguish the distances, but could not evaluate them because of the insufficient experimental setup of auditory stimuli. In order to confirm which of these two alternative explanations is valid, we conducted an experiment similar to that of our previous study using a sufficient number of loudspeakers for the presentation of auditory stimuli. Results revealed that judgments of perceived distance increased on the peripheral side. This indicates that we can perceive discrimination between audio and visual stimuli on the peripheral side.

대구 약령시 지구 내 가로 체계의 공간구문 분석 (Space Syntax Analysis on Street System in Yakryeong Market District in Daegu, Korea)

  • This study examines the properties of spaces where historical and cultural resources have been preserved in the street system of Daegu Yakryeong market district, by using Space Syntax methodology. The results were obtained through ASA(Angular Segment Analysis) on each node (spatial unit) in the street network. An overall characteristic of spatial configuration in street system of the surveyed district is that nodes in the street network tend to form socially integrated spatial structure to allow easy access to each space in the system. There are a small number of socially isolated spaces in the street system, which are located at nodes in narrow streets adjacent to the roadway outside the district, or in narrow alleys between early modern Korean buildings. More than half of the surveyed spaces have high levels of social integration, which contain buildings playing a central role of the community, a traditional street market, symbolic landmarks. In conclusion, it is expected that the achievements of this study will contribute in leading to rational land use planning for sound and sustainable development of historical and cultural resources in an urban district.

오존 대기 환경기준의 비교 연구 (A Comparative study on Ambient Air Quality Standard for Ozone)

  • Based on air quality monitoring data('89~'97) operated by the Department of Environment, we provide various fundamental statistics for ground ozone. The purpose of this paper are to review the national ambient ozone standard, to study spatial distribution of ozone. Since we, in Korea, calculate average ozone level, to examine the occurrences of ozone level 3 times a day (1~8, 9~16, 17~24 hours), the method does not seem to be scientifically sound comparing to a running average method adapted by the USEPA. When we counted the number of cases with 8-h average O3 level exceeding 60ppb(8-h average standard in Korea)and 80 ppb (that in the U.S.A) and also when we calculated 8-hour average ozone level based on th US method, some regions were classified as non-attainment areas. Especially in Seoul, results of spatial distribution analysis showed that high level ozone over 80 ppb was observed at Kuui-Dong and Pangi-Dong in the eastern part and at Ssangmun-Dong in the northeastern part. Also, occurrences of ozone episode defined as number of days then ozone level exceeding 80 ppb for 3 consecutive hours were extensively reviewed in this paper.

  • Changes in consumer purchasing patterns due to construction of large Western-style commercial buildings and introduction of new purchasing methods in South Korea in the 1990s led to a gradual decline in traditional markets. Under such a new environment, Yukgeori market, one of Korea's exemplary markets, has continued to develop and survive, while maintaining the traditional market form of Korea, both physically and operationally. Therefore, to find the characteristics of spatial configurations supporting the revitalization of traditional market, we deduced social attributes of spaces in street network of Cheongju city and the neighborhood including Yukgeori market by calculating the depths of nodes in the network using analysis models based on space syntax. The results illustrated that long street with the function to attract people and acts as a bridge of traffic and communication between highly modernized commercial area and traditional market can lead to continuous win-win development of both areas and the revitalization of traditional market through the promotion of social activities in the market. We expect that sound and sustainable development of contemporary cities, which lost tradition, will be achieved through the results of this study.

한국형 머리전달함수 데이터베이스 구축 (Building Korean Head-related Transfer Function Database)

  • Three-dimensional multimedia industry such as 3D TV, movie and broadcast has been developed vividly. For generating 3D contents with high quality, virtual auditory display, so called VAD, is being researched to offer more realistic experience to listeners. When people render VAD using headphones or two speakers, head-related transfer function(HRTF) plays a key role. The best solution is measuring all individuals' HRTFs, but it is hard to measure all listeners' HRTFs. To overcome this difficulty, many research groups have tried to construct their own measurement system and to build HRTF databases. However, some of them have not enough subjects or spatial resolution and they are mainly focused on Caucasian. There exists difference between Korean and Caucasian in a view of physical features. In other words, if Koreans hear three-dimensional sound rendered by HRTF database based on Caucasian, performance might be hindered. To verify this possibility and remedy the drawbacks, construction of new HRTF database aimed at Korean is needed. Therefore, our laboratory built HRTF measurement system which can measure HRTF of three-dimensional space with dense spatial resolution. With this system, 55 Korean males and 45 females' HRTFs were measured and Korean HRTF database was built based on these data.

지형요소를 활용한 전라도 논매기소리의 공간분포와 전파에 관한 연구: 아리시고나 류, 산아지 곡, 방게 류를 사례로 (A Study on the Spatial Distribution and Diffusion of Rice-paddy Weeding Songs Using the Geomorphic Elements in Jeolla-do: A Case of Arishigona, Sanaji and Bang-gae)

  • In this study, the effect on the spatial distribution and diffusion of Arishigona, Sanaji and Bang-gae appearing in Jeolla-do was analyzed using geomorphic elements. Based on result, the AriShigona is distributed in the western plains of the Yeongsan River basin and around from the Noryeong mountain range to Mudeung mountain range, the Sanaji is mainly diffused in the middle and upper parts of the Seomjin River and the lower parts of the Mangyeong River, Dongjin River and the Boseong River basin, and the Bang-gae is found to be distributed in the Seomjin River and the upper part of the Yeongsan River basin. Although the cultural centers of these Rice-paddy Weeding Songs are different but they appear to have a similar distribution pattern in Jeolla-do. This is used as a diffusion path of cultural elements by crossing lineaments in various directions and serving bridge role at the same time. However, in the region where the lineaments do not intersect, the continuity of Rice-paddy Weeding Songs are relatively low, which are considered to be reflected in the spatial distribution and propagation of the sound due to the influence of the drain network rather than the lineament. The results of this study can provide basic data for spatial distribution of Rice-paddy Weeding Songs, and regionality and cultural division by diffusion characteristics.
