Farmland spatial data are needed as a basic information in conducting rational use of farmlands in regional scale. This study develops a method that can be used to make up such farmland spatial data in a simple way and to develop a technique to manage them in a unitary way, and examines the effectiveness of the technique by applying it to the case area. A method that Web-Service Raster Image and Digital Cadastal Map can be utilized as a base map was devised. It was designed applying the vector system, in which one lot of farmland is area unit. Raster image and field survey data were combined to increase the accuracy of data. The lot boundaries of the existing boundary map were adjusted to the shapes of actual farmlands using GIS edition function. A proper farmland use classification system to the area characteristics was established and data obtained from the field survey were coded. Usually it is very difficult to identify the size of one lot of actual farmland in the existing space data, based on the results of the case study, the result map showed actual topography very realistically. Also the frequently occurring lot divisions and the serious topographical modifications by natural disasters frequently have made it impossible to survey farmlands on the catastral map in the field. But the final map had a great usefulness in that it may solve such problems by expressing the filed survey results graphically.

지리정보시스템의 활성화를 위해 신뢰성있는 전자지도의 공급은 필수적이다. 기본적 정보를 수용하고 있는 전자지도는 직접적인 응용과 더불어 다른 형태의 전자지도 제작의기반이 될 수 있다. 이 논문에서는 기본적 정보를 제공하는 목적의 전자지도의 구조에 대한 제안을 하였다. 여기서 제시된 구조에서 강조된 부분은 범용성과 세부분류이다. 여러 시스템에서 활용하기 위해 문자위주로 구성을 했고 행정구역및 각종 지도성분들의 코드화를 시도하였다.

지도에서의 정보추출은 GIS의 구축을 위하여 매우 필요한 사항이다. 본 논문에서는 특수목적으로 제작된 지도내의 가옥을 인식하는 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 가옥을 추출하기 위하여 윤곽선 추출 기법을 사용하였으며 격자에 붙은 가옥을 처리하기 위하여 런 길이 코딩 방법을 사용하였다. 도로와 경계선에 접합되어 있는 가옥을 처리하기 위하여 형태학적 연산을 수행하였으며 형태학적 연산에서 발생하는 오인식을 없애기 위하여 한글 문자부를 제거하는 작업을 수행하였다.

21세기 정보통신기술은 다양한 공간정보를 온라인으로 전송할 수 있는 수준에 이르고 있으며, 컴퓨터를 이용한 출력기술도 품질면에서 인쇄와 대등한 위치에 이르렀다. 이와 더불어 지도 사용자들 역시 다양한 공간정보를 온라인 상에서 직간접적으로 취득하길 원하고 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 우리나라의 지형도 공급시스템은 오프라인 형태를 유지하고 있어 온라인 형태의 선진국에 비해 재고관리, 신속성, 경제성면에서 비효율성을 나타내고있다. 본 연구에서는 효율적인 지도공급시스템을 구축하기위해 현 공급체계의 문제점을 분석하고, 사용자요구지도제작, 온라인 결제 및 판매, 재고관리, 메타데이터구축, 보안모듈 등을 개발하였다. 개발된 시스템을 평가한 결과 기존의 방식에 비해 지도공급 및 관리의 효율성이 향상되었으며 사용자요구지도의 제작이 가능해졌다.

최근 우리나라는 세계 최초의 지상파 DMB 서비스를 제공하였다. DMB 서비스는 국제적으로도 도입 초기단계에 있는 신규서비스이지만 이동 중 수신이 가능한 것을 제외하면 기존의 방송과 비교우위에 있는 장점이 없어 새로운 형태의 컨텐츠와 서비스의 개발이 시급한 시점이다. 이에 본 연구는 DMB를 이용한 위치 및 교통정보 제공 서비스를 착안하고 이를 위한 기본 작업으로 DMB에 적합한 지도서비스 및 지도데이터 전송을 위한 서비스 프로토콜과 데이터 구성을 제안하였다. 이 같은 제안이 구현된다면 DMB의 우수한 이동성과 저렴한 방송 매체를 사용하는 장점으로 기존 방송서비스와 차별화된 핵심 컨텐츠로 자리 잡을 수 있을 것이다.

최근 도로시설물관리 시스템의 구축이 많이 이루어지고 있으며, 이 과정에서 수치지도는 공간 자료기반 구축을 위한 필수 자료로 사용된다. 그러나, 기존 지형도나 준공도면 자료가 시스템 구축용으로 충분하지 않은 경우에는 수치지도의 작성과 수정 및 갱신에 난관을 겪는 사례가 적지 않다. 본 연구에서는 항공사진 및 지상사진 등 다양한 형태의 영상자료를 이용하여 도로시설물 정보를 추출하고자 하였다. 지상취득 영상으로는 현재 많이 쓰이고 있으며 비교적 저가품인 일반카메라, 디지털카메라, 비디오카메라에 의하여 촬영된 단사진 영상을 이용하였고, 여기서 추출한 공간자료와 속성자료는 자료기반의 수정과 갱신에 사용하였다. 아울러 단사진 영상으로부터 추출한 공간자료를 이용하여 상대적인 척도로서 수치지도의 생성 가능성을 타진하였다.

국토이용계획도, 도시계획도, 농업진흥지역도, 산지이용구분도 등 용도지역·지구 자료는 법적·공간적 특성으로 자료간 연관성을 가지고 있다. 그러나 부처별·부서별 제도운용에 따른 자료공유의 어려움, 수작업체계에 의한 용도지역·지구 경계선의 저확성 한P 등으로 자료간의 관계가 일관성이 결여되어 토지 이용에 많은 문제가 발생하고 있다. 이 연구에서는 GIS의 중첩기법을 이용하여 용도지역·지구 자료간 불부합 실태와 원인을 분석하고, 이러한 문제를 해결할 수 있는 방안으로서 자료간 연관성을 고려한 데이터모델링 방안을 제시하였다.

기존에 제작되어 있는 수치지도를 이용해서 공간 데이타베이스를 구축할 때 타일 기반의 분리된 수치지도를 Seamless Map으로 다시 제작하는 과정은 필수적이다. 기존의 반복적인 합병 방법은 작업의 동시성이 떨어지는 문제점이 있다. 이 논문에서는 다수 작업자에 의한 작업의 동시성을 유지할 수 있도록 하는 변형된 2PC 프로토콜에 기반한 동시 합병 처리기의 구현에 대해 다루고 있다. 작업자들은 처리기를 통하여 서로 간의 작업을 공유할 수 있으므로 합의에 의한 합병 작업을 동시에 진행할 수 있다.

In the mobile environments for the vector map services, a map simplification work through the map generalization steps helps improve the readability of the map on a large scale. The generalization operations are various such as selection, aggregation, simplification, displacement, and so on, the formal operation algorithms have not been built yet. Because the algorithms require deep special knowledge and heuristic, which make it hard to automate the processes. This thesis proposes some map generalization algorithms specialized in mobile vector map services, based on previous works. This thesis will show the detail to adapt the approaches on the mobile environment, to display complex spatial objects efficiently on the mobile devices which have restriction on the resources.
