We have developed a set of daily solar flare peak flux forecast models for strong flares using multiple linear regression and artificial neural network methods. We consider input parameters as solar activity data from January 1996 to December 2013 such as sunspot area, X-ray flare peak flux and weighted total flux of previous day, and mean flare rates of McIntosh sunspot group (Zpc) and Mount Wilson magnetic classification. For a training data set, we use the same number of 61 events for each C-, M-, and X-class from Jan. 1996 to Dec. 2004, while other previous models use all flares. For a testing data set, we use all flares from Jan. 2005 to Nov. 2013. The best three parameters related to the observed flare peak flux are weighted total flare flux of previous day (r = 0.51), X-ray flare peak flux (r = 0.48), and Mount Wilson magnetic classification (r = 0.47). A comparison between our neural network models and the previous models based on Heidke Skill Score (HSS) shows that our model for X-class flare is much better than the models and that for M-class flares is similar to them. Since all input parameters for our models are easily available, the models can be operated steadily and automatically in near-real time for space weather service.

This study has main purpose to understand and interpret the house Nok-U-dang, an upper class built in Chosun dynasty, not by outsider researcher's view but insider dweller's view. To interpret correctly, dweller's everyday life in the space and form is examined on a microscale beyond the physical space and form of the house, main object of architectural history To understand the present form exactly, the study restore traditional life in past era, 1940s. Main method of restoration is the ethnographic interview, based on cultural anthropology. Like any other upper-class house, the house has been influenced under ruling Confucian ideology in Chosun dynasty: separation of man's and woman's quarters and hierachical arrangement by generation, and worshipping ceremony for ancestor. However, it is by practical management for agricultural production that every court and building of the Noku-Dang can be explained correctly; preparing seed for sowing, tool storing, preparing and serving meal for laborers, making manure, harvesting, threshing grain, storing grain and so on. Precedent studies interpreted the house by the Confucian principle too much and made conclusion of dignity and austerity of ritual: woman's quarter, is closed and serene space. However this study shows that the space is semi-opened and composite space by agricultural works. And the Sarangchae, master's quarter, is located properly at visual center to control every agricultural activity.

The human scale of the interior space of a korean traditional residence is normally user-friendly. And this aspect is reinterpreted and implemented in the modern structure. While our conscious awareness has become greatly westernized through the east-west exchanges, the interior of the traditional Korean residence has always reflected the people and their daily lives of the time. In this study, an attempt has been made to identify the aesthetic characteristics of the inner space elements through the analysis of visual perception inside a Korean traditional upper class residence, kangreung Sunkyojang, designated as the 5th Cultural Information Material with regards to the inherent philosophy and human scale that influenced the emotions of the Korean people. The different parts of the interior space of Anchae, and the Symmetrical of Formal, Balance of the walls give a sense of calmness, and the ornaments are used to give gaiety. The ceiling of Yeolwhadang hall give an energetic feeling and pillare are used to enhance spaciousness. In Whalejeong, by making use of similar and continuous lines, the light and darkness was controlled and the link with nature has been emphasized. Different decorations used reflect scholarly spirit.

Many critics on William Faulkner's As I Lay Dying have read Addie Bundren as the disrupter of patriarchal power. By raising a question about the usefulness of language, which is the symbolic power of patriarchy and having an affair with the preacher Whitfield outside her wedlock, Addie directly challenges patriarchal power. From a quite different vantage point, however, we can read Addie as the faithful protector of the norm of whiteness in the South in light of the social hierarchy. As a former school teacher, Addie is from middle class before her marriage. By her marriage to Anse, who is a lower-class white, Addie has class anxiety that her social status in the stratum of whiteness could be degraded from a middle to a lower-class white, "white trash," which means that she is not white enough to be considered as the normative whiteness. Especially, Addie's anxiety increases due to the fact that her lazy husband is reluctant to work and relies on her neighbors, causing her family to be entrapped at the bottom in the stratum of whiteness. Therefore, she decides to take revenge on her husband after giving birth to her second child Darl by asking Anse to bury her dead body in her familial burial site in Jefferson. By rendering her family to suffer the hardship during her funeral procession, not only does she succeed in taking revenge on Anse on the surface, she regains her social status as a middle-class white by being buried in Jefferson fundamentally.

In this paper, we define a class of functional defined on a very general function space $C_{a,b}[0,T]$ like a Fresnel class of an abstract Wiener space. We then define the multiple $L_p$ analytic generalized Fourier-Feynman transform and the generalized convolution product of functionals on function space $C_{a,b}[0,T]$. Finally, we establish some relationships between the multiple $L_p$ analytic generalized Fourier-Feynman transform and the generalized convolution product for functionals in $\mathcal{F}(C_{a,b}[0,T])$.

In the present article, we investigate the possibility of a real-valued map on the space of tuples of commuting trace-class self-adjoint operators, which behaves like the usual trace map on the space of trace-class linear operators. It turns out that such maps are related with continuous group homomorphisms from the Milnor's K-group of the real numbers into the additive group of real numbers. Using this connection, it is shown that any such trace map must be trivial, but it is proposed that the target group of a nontrivial trace should be a linearized version of Milnor's K-theory as with the case of universal determinant for commuting tuples of matrices rather than just the field of constants.

Cameron and Storvick discovered change of scale formulas for Wiener integrals of bounded functions in a Banach algebra S of analytic Feynman integrable functions on classical Wiener space. Yoo and Skoug extended these results to abstract Wiener space for a generalized Fresnel class $F_{A1,A2}$ containing the Fresnel class F(B) which corresponds to the Banach algebra S on classical Wiener space. In this paper, we present a change of scale formula for Wiener integrals of various functions on $B^2$ which need not be bounded or continuous.

In this paper we introduce the concept of $\gamma$-preopen sets in a topological space together with its corresponding $\gamma$-preclosure and $\gamma$-preinterior operators and a new class of topology $\tau_{{\gamma}p}$ which is generated by the class of $\gamma$-preopen sets. Also we introduce $\gamma$-pre $T_i$ spaces(i=0, $\frac{1}{2}$, 1, 2) and study some of its properties and we proved that if $\gamma$ is a regular operation, then$(X,\;{\tau}_{{\gamma}p})$ is a $\gamma$-pre $T\frac{1}{2}$ space. Finally we introduce $(\gamma,\;\beta)$-precontinuous mappings and study some of its properties.

Residential space can be stated as a decisive body compositely affected by environmental, physical, social, and cultural influences. Resulting from this idea, residential space can be defined as a mirror reflecting peoples' life at that period. Therefore, it is possible to understand the social and cultural aspects of a certain era through analyzing the residential space built and used at that period. Viewing from this point, latter term of Chosun Period, as a transitional period, was a tie of collapse for the structure of middle-class society forcing its identity system to be reorganized, and of improving upon commerce, agriculture, and manual industry to enable modernization. Following this idea, the goal of this research is to analyze characteristics of higher middle class residences built at the close of 19th century in Gyeonggi province in order to bring into light the change of social structure of the period.

Due to the lack of available site in urban setting outdoor space in elementary schools are getting smaller and tend to be replaced by indoor spaces. Focusing on courtyard, piloti space and roof space, this study analyzed the current condition and usage of the outdoor spaces in the urban mini-schools based on the analysis of architectural drawing, interview, survey, and observation. Following issues are found for appropriate planning for outdoor spaces in the urban mini-schools. Firstly, roof space needs to be coordinated with the physical education and outdoor class curriculum and should be planned separately for quiet activities. Secondly, the piloti space should be planned as an independent space rather than a connection between classroom and outdoor space, with appropriate surveillance from teacher's space for the lower graders. Thirdly, courtyard space, typical space in urban mini school surrounded by densely arranged buildings, should be thermally controlled for outdoor class or resting with appropriate screen from noise to keep quiet atmosphere.
