The kontsevich conjecture on mapping class groups

  • M. Kontsevich posed a problem on mapping class groups of 3-manifold that is if M is a compact 3-manifold with nonempty boundary, then BDiff (M rel $\partial$ M) has the homotopy type of a finite complex. Here, Diff (M rel $\partial$ M) is the group of diffeomorphisms of M which restrict to the identity on $\partial$ M, and BDiff (M rel $\partial$ M) is its classifying space. In this paper we resolve the problem affirmatively in the case when M is a Haken 3-manifold.

  • The class of isotropic almost complex structures, J𝛿,𝜎, define a class of Riemannian metrics, g𝛿,𝜎, on the tangent bundle of a Riemannian manifold which are a generalization of the Sasaki metric. This paper characterizes the metrics g𝛿,0 using the geometry of tangent bundle. As a by-product, some integrability results will be reported for J𝛿,𝜎.

  • In this paper we dene the concept of a conditional generalized Fourier-Feynman transform on very general function space $C_{a,b}$[0, T]. We then establish the existence of the conditional generalized Fourier-Feynman transform for functionals in a Fresnel type class. We also obtain several results involving the conditional transform. Finally we present functionals to apply our results. The functionals arise naturally in Feynman integration theories and quantum mechanics.

메타버스 ZEP 플랫폼 기반의 최적화된 수업 공간 및 맵 개발 (Development of an Optimized Class Space and Map based on the Metaverse ZEP Platform)

  • 본 논문은 메타버스 플랫폼 중 ZEP을 이용하여 최적화한 수업 공간에 대한 맵을 개발하는 것을 목표로 하였다. 연구 방법으로는 기존의 메타버스의 수업 경험을 바탕으로 학습의 주체가 학습자가 되도록 수업 공간을 구성하고, 초등학교 컴퓨터 수업에 적용하면서 수업 공간을 수정·보완하여 최적화하였다. 연구 내용은 학습자의 메타버스에 대한 사전 인식을 조사하였고, 메타버스 플랫폼의 장단점 들을 비교·분석하였다. 또한, 조사 결과를 반영하여 맵을 설계하였고, 설계된 맵을 수업에 적용한 후 필요한 API와 앱을 설치하여 보완하였다. 그 결과 학습자는 메타버스 공간에서 학습의 주체자가 되어 자유롭게 공간을 파악하고, 수업에 적극적으로 참여하였다. 특히, 오프라인에서 소극적인 학생, 실력이 부족하여 참여율이 저조한 학생은 더 적극적으로 참여하였다. 향후, 학습분석을 할 수 있는 학습자의 로그데이터를 수집할 수 있는 기능들을 API와 자바스크립트 프로그램 추가하여 학습자에게는 실시간 피드백이 가능하게 하고, 교수자에게는 통계 데이터를 가지고 학습자에게 피드백을 할 수 있도록 하는 것이다. 만약 이것이 가능하다면 메타버스 공간이 학습자에게는 학습 보조자 역할과 교수자에는 교수 보조자 역할을 충분히 기대할 수 있다.

Maser and Molecular Line Surveys of 6.7GHz ClassII Methanol Maser Sources

  • Methanol maser sources are believed to represent the earliest evolutionary stage of massive star formation. Pandian et al. (2007) recently made a very sensitive blind survey of 6.7GHz ClassII methanol maser towards the Galacitic midplane ($35^{\circ}$<1<$55^{\circ}$ & |b|<$0.5^{\circ}$) and found 86 maser sources. We carried out 22GHz $H_2O$ and 44.0 GHz $CH_3OH$ maser line surveys of them with KVN 21m and various (CO (2-1), $^{13}CO$ (2-1), $^{13}CO$ (1-0), $C^{18}O$ (2-1), CS (2-1), $HCO^+$ (3-2) and HCN (3-2)) molecular line surveys with SRAO 6m and TRAO 14m. we will present the preliminary results and discuss the implications for massive star formation.

Comparative Analysis of Building Models to Develop a Generic Indoor Feature Model

  • Around the world, there is an increasing interest in Digital Twin cities. Although geospatial data is critical for building a digital twin city, currently-established spatial data cannot be used directly for its implementation. Integration of geospatial data is vital in order to construct and simulate the virtual space. Existing studies for data integration have focused on data transformation. The conversion method is fundamental and convenient, but the information loss during this process remains a limitation. With this, standardization of the data model is an approach to solve the integration problem while hurdling conversion limitations. However, the standardization within indoor space data models is still insufficient compared to 3D building and city models. Therefore, in this study, we present a comparative analysis of data models commonly used in indoor space modeling as a basis for establishing a generic indoor space feature model. By comparing five models of IFC (Industry Foundation Classes), CityGML (City Geographic Markup Language), AIIM (ArcGIS Indoors Information Model), IMDF (Indoor Mapping Data Format), and OmniClass, we identify essential elements for modeling indoor space and the feature classes commonly included in the models. The proposed generic model can serve as a basis for developing further indoor feature models through specifying minimum required structure and feature classes.

  • Let T be a bounded linear operator on a complex Hilbert space $\mathfrak{H}$. An operator T is called class A operator if ${\mid}T^2{\mid}{\geq}{\mid}T{\mid}^2$ and is called class $A({\kappa})$ operator if $(T^*{\mid}T{\mid}^{2{\kappa}}T)^{\frac{1}{{\kappa}+1}}{\geq}{\mid}T{\mid}^2$ for a positive number ${\kappa}$. In this paper, we show that ${\sigma}$ is continuous when restricted to the set of class $A({\kappa})$ operators.

Development of UML Tool using WPF Framework and Forced-Directionality Graph Algorithm

  • This research implemented grammatical rules for relationship extraction from class diagram candidate. The problem statement is generated by our algorithm to yield class diagram and candidate relationship candidates. The relationships of class diagrams are extracted automatically from the problem statement by using Natural Language Processing (NLP). The extraction used the grammatical rules that obtained from various sources and translated into our algorithm. The performance evaluation of the extraction algorithm used ATM problem statements. The application captures the problem statement and draws automatically the relations of class diagrams using Forced-Directionality Graph algorithm. The performance evaluations show refining methods for class diagram and relationships extraction improve recall score.

  • As the issues such as safety, hygiene, convenience of school facility from the perspective of living environment for students and teachers arise as an important task in recent, there is increasing concern for resting convenience facility in school. In recent, the government is planning to change middle high school into the departmental classroom system. The departmental classroom system refers to the school operation system in which the classroom is structured as a subject-specialized classroom and the students move to the classroom according to their class schedules. This departmental classroom system is advantageous in that each subject can be equipped with professional facilities or preparations; the usage rate of the classroom can be enhanced; the common study space or living space can be used substantially; the school can plan and operate its own specialized space. On the contrary, it has the weaknesses that there is need to prepare the home base for the guidance of the class or student guidance; there is need for the facilities including personal lockers. Thus, the departmental classroom system requires the space expansion for home base or the resting convenience space for students and thus has to provide various spaces. Under this background, it is also important to check and plan the resting space for the schools. Therefore, this study is aimed to examine and analyze the arrangement location and space Layout of the resting convenience space among school facilities to propose the architectural data for future resting/convenience spaces for the schools.
