  • 현재는 도시 아이덴티티(City Identity)가 과거의 기업경영 전략으로서 디자인 통합계획(Visual Identity)이 아닌 지역 고유의 역사와 문화적 유산을 포함하고 경쟁력 강화와 지역성을 부각시켜 잠재되어 있던 지역의 이미지를 새롭게 구현 및 활성화에 그 목적을 두고 있다. 이에 경기도 31개 지자체의 도시 아이덴티티 디자인은 과거에서 벗어나 미래지향적이고 간결하면서도 모던한 이미지를 구축하고 기하학적인 인공모티브를 이용한 차별화된 아이덴티티를 구축해 나가고 있다. 하지만 일부 지자체에서는 과거의 도시 아이덴티티가 존재하였음에도 불구하고, 리뉴얼의 개념이 아닌 새로운 BI를 개발하여 CI를 대체하거나 CI와 BI역할을 대행하고 있어 심볼마크의 경계선과 기준점이 점점 모호 해지고 있다. 뿐만 아니라 비전이 담긴 슬로건을 BI로 사용하고 있는 사례가 존재하고 있어 경기도 지자체 현황분석과 방향성을 제시하여 전문적인 CIP관리가 요구된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 경기도 31개 지자체의 이론적 배경분석과 학술연구를 통해 심볼마크의 현황분석을 실시하였고 심볼마크의 본질적 의미가 형태론적으로 어떻게 표현되고 해석되는지를 도식화하여 I.R.I 이미지 공간을 최종 분석하였다.

대학기숙사의 공용 및 개인생활공간 계획 - 충청권 소재 대학기숙사 사례를 중심으로 - (The Planning of Common and Living Space in the Dormitory Buildings on Campus - Focused on the Dormitory Buildings in Chung-chung Province -)

  • This study aims to investigate planning characteristics of common and living space in the dormitory buildings on campus in Chungcheong province. A document research method was used to analyze and classified into floor-plan, zoning and area. Also site visits were conducted at 8 dormitory buildings of 4 universities, and drawings were collected and compared for this research. The results of this study were as follows; 1)Most floor plans of public spaces had corridor types and integrated public space types. The typical floorplan of living space was 2person-1bedroom and apartment type which shared livingroom, bathroom, restroom and shower between bedrooms. The living space type of dormitory buildings was more complex and growth in size. Unit community combined 2-4person per 1bedroom in floor plan can help student with identity and affiliated formation. 2)The types of the spatial composition in public spaces were devided into three zones; study, living and administrative zones such as seminar room, public bathroom and storage, etc. This results shows that various types of public space for the improvement of community of small group has recently become more important than basic sanitary space in public space of dormitory buildings on campus.

A Study on the Activation of Unemployed Space under the Viaduct

  • As population inflows into the city and the traffic volume increases, a three-dimensional transportation system was developed, and as a result, the lower space of the viaduct was formed. Since the space under viaduct includes factors such as shadow, noise, vibration, and disconnection between regions, efforts have been made to prevent slumming and help form local communities by activating them. This study intends to derive analysis based on locality, functionality, and communication for a variety of access to the lower space of an overpass, and analyze cases based on the result. We have the results through analysis are as follows. First, the space under the viaduct has been turned into a slum due poor accessibility and utilization, and local residents and local government also neglected the space. However, it appears to be a space with high potential utilization. Second, by giving diversity to the lower space of the viaduct and cultivating spatial identity, the space was activated and connected with the surroundings by providing a more pleasant environment. Third, accessibility was improved by providing a complex functional and aesthetic environment, and by providing various programs that could form a community among residents, voluntary and active participation was elicited.

한국${\cdot}$일본 전통건축공간의 지향성 (The Directivity of Traditional Architectural Space in Korean and Japanese)

  • As a circumstantial-existance character (the human character who takes action after grasping circumstances and fears things with reason) the Japanese were more interested in the active doctrines of Wang Yang-ming than other speculative studies. All of people were inhumanely incorporated into the rigorous class system under pressure in the samurai society. In the atmosphere of the society a natural phenomenon was understood as the ksana of change, and instead of the whole, the part was mainly described with emphasis on the reality. Therefore nature came near to the man after being reduced and then was symbolized in the Interior space. Also the classification of spaces, that is to say, the settlement of borders by the social position was shown in the great interior space like a labyrinth. As a self-existance character(the human style who carves out for and does not have a regard other's feeling), however, the Korean were much influenced by the Taoist Idea as they tried to be similar to nature in nature itself. Therefore the idea of Asaniskrota was in their origin. There was a tendency for space to be extended toward the outdoor in Korea, since the Korean people who are speculative and like to be natural tried to be close to nature. Therefore the division of spaces according to class and sexuality and the settlement of borders were already shown in outside by Che-Na-Num(Divided-Mass:Koren's own style). These are closely related with that houses were built after a village settle down in Korea while built before a village settle down in Japan. Architectural space consists of the interior and the exterior. The layout and (on of architectural space has a great variety of characters by region and culture. In other words, it can be understood which has a priority between the interior and the exterior in developing the layout and the form of architectural space. Belonging to the culture area of Chinese characters with Korea, Japan has maintained its own Identity. It has an identity in the layout and form of architectural space as well. Therefore, the architecture and architectural theories of the two countries were compared and analyzed with priority given to the traditional architecture, also the backgrounds of architecture and architectural theories of two countries were examined in this study. This study shows that each country has different characters in how to introduce nature, how to expand space and how to compose windows, including the view of nature and the cult of space. As a result, the space in Korean architecture has relatively the exterior-oriented character but in Japan architecture spatial character is interior-oriented. The interior-oriented character can be relevant to the word 'reduction' and the exterior-oriented character to 'extension' after all. Also it can be thought that each character has a great relation with climate and idea of people in power.

관계적 공간에서 결혼 이주 여성의 삶 (Married Immigrant Women's Life in Relational Spaces)

  • 본 연구는 두 가지 목적 하에서 수행되었다. 하나는 결혼 이주 여성이 가족, 이웃, 친구, 조직, 국가와 관계하면서 겪는 갈등, 차별, 저항 등을 구체적으로 탐색하는 것이다. 다른 하나는 결혼 이주 여성과 가족을 새로운 시각, 즉 초국가(국경을 초월한 로컬과 로컬의 관계), 로컬, 국가와의 관계적 공간으로 설명하는 데 있다. 연구 결과는 세 가지로 요약될 수 있다. 첫째는 국제결혼에 의해 초국가적 공간이 형성되며, 생성된 공간은 결혼 이주 여성의 (비)일상적 활동에 의해 유지된다. 초국가적 활동은 송금(remittance), 자녀의 양육과 교육, 친정 방문, 전화나 인터넷 등을 통한 정서적 교감 등이 포함된다. 둘째는 결혼 이주 여성이 가족, 이웃, 친구, 기관 등과 연관됨에 따라 중층적인 관계적 로컬 공간이 형성 유지되고 있다. 셋째는 결혼 이주 여성은 국적 취득과 정부(지방자치단체)의 다문화 지원 사업의 측면에서 국가 권력 혹은 정부 행정과 연관되어 있다. 국민 정체성과 관련지어 결혼 이주 여성은 모국과 한국 가운데 어디에 속하는지 구분이 불명확한 위치에 놓여 있음을 느끼는 경우도 있다.

  • 백화점의 디자인은 다른 공간의 디자인과는 달리 그 속에 상품을 담고 있는 공간으로 어떻게 상품을 효과적으로 보여주어 고객들에게 강한 욕구를 불러일으킴으로써, 상품을 기억시키는 충동이 아니라 상품을 구입하게 만드는 역할을 하는 것이다. 그러기 위해서는 고객을 위한 디자인, 상품을 위한 디자인이 우선 갖추어져야 하며, 점포의 아이덴터티와 이미지가 가장 중요한 개념으로 떠오르게 된다. 이러한 관점에서 볼 때, 점포의 아이덴터티와 이미지를 가장 먼저 고객에게 전달하는 공간인 로비의 중요성을 인식하고 이에 대한 개선안을 계획, 제시할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 변화하는 소비자의 요구를 만족시키고 자연스럽게 고객을 유도할 수 있는 쾌적하고 편리한 로비공간을 계획하여 지층부분의 원활한 흐름을 유도하는데 그 목적이 있으며, 고객흐름에 영향을 끼치는 내,외부 환경 요인들에 관한 가설을 세우고, 실제조사를 통해 그러한 가설을 검증하여 그 결과가 계획에 반영될 수 있도록 하였다. 분석결과 지층부분의 내, 외적 환경요인이 어떻게 고객의 흐름에 영향을 끼치는 가를 알 수 있으며, 실질적인 조사를 통하여 분석된 자료결과를 적용하여 중간영역으로서의 기능을 갖춘 로비공간 개선안을 제시할 수 있다.

  • Recently, the interior design of electric home appliance stores requires comprehensive image management with systemic marketing strategies and consistence in order to attract consumers to purchase products. However, the environment of domestic electric home appliance stores is complex and confused by indiscreet design factors and operation. Despite of the fact that company costs a lot of money to manage each store, consumers are not provided with selling environment with high quality. On the other hand, it is inevitable to compete with foreign specialized stores and discount malls due to opening distribution market. Besides, company has faced to attract customers with distinct strategies in order to survive in various competition system. In this sense, in store environment, there should be consistent image in interior design of the store based on management ideology of the company for the successful management of electric home appliance stores. The purpose of this research is to investigate and analyze the case of Samsung Electronics's electric home appliance stores among domestic electric home appliance stores that is applied with Store Identity Program (hereafter SIP) and to suggest solutions for the problems. Therefore, it is purposed to use as references for the stores that has the similar interior design plan. The result of this study is to upgrade the store image through providing basic data about role of data and distinct factors for competitive design as a part of Store Identity Strategy. Furthermore, it can be important data to optimize the profits and to make positive space for both consumer and company as company and products are credible with mental satisfaction of consumers if there is enough study on SIP and process and symbol of company and products to consumers, enough recognition and improvement on problems.

패션 일러스트레이션에 반영된 포스트휴먼의 신체 표현특징 (The Expressive Characteristics of the Posthuman Body in Fashion Illustration)

  • In the $21^{st}$ century, technology is a tool for the expansion of the five senses and physical ability that works as an element for posthuman identity. This study analyzes and theorizes on the characteristics of the posthuman body in fashion illustration. The method of this study analyzes documentaries about posthuman and fashion illustration. The results are as follow. Posthuman body types are classed as hybrid body, plastic surgery body, and digital body. The characteristics of the posthuman body are categorized as ultra- functional prosthetic, mythical undifferentiated, radical plastic surgery type and post-physical digitization type. The ultra-functional prosthetic type shows a restored body and upgraded functional body through a machine hybrid, cyborg suit and mannequin hybrid. It is a break from classical gender identity to form a nerve sense extension that displays physical and abstract power. The mythical undifferentiated type shows a therianthropic form, parts of an animal body, radical skin and gender bending. It represents the return to an undifferentiated world, the desire of a powerful being and the possibility of radical transformation. The radical plastic surgery type shows a photomontage of an ideal body, transgendered body, grotesque body marking, absence of partial or overall face organ and the expansion of abnormal body organs. It represents the expression of narcissism, unconscious desire, fantasy, fear and suggests an alternative ideality, sexual attachment and ambiguous gender identity. The post-physical digitization type shows an imperfect form or duplicated ego image through the omission of the body silhouette or detailed form, fragmented image using net, representative self like optical illusion using typography, an imperfect vague silhouette and immaterial body outline through the use of virtual light. It represents the lack of desire, narcissism, fluidity in a virtual space, the continued creation of a new self, ambiguous gender identity and the liberation of environment, sex, and race. Likewise, the posthuman in fashion illustration shows the absence of a species boundary, destruction of classical gender identity, a new personality and virtual self image.

온라인 게임 캐릭터에 나타난 젠더 정체성 분석 - <리그 오브 레전드>를 중심으로 (Analysis of Gender Identity of On-line Game Character - focused on -)

  • 본 논문의 목적은 온라인 게임 캐릭터에 나타난 젠더 형상화 양상 및 특징을 분석하고, 이를 통해 온라인 게임 캐릭터의 젠더 정체성이 구축되는 방식을 도출하는 것이다. 이를 위해 온라인 게임 <리그 오브 레전드>에 등장하는 캐릭터를 연구 대상으로 채택하고, 젠더 정체성 이론을 바탕으로 게임 개발자가 제시하는 시스템, 이미지, 담화 등에서 나타나는 캐릭터의 젠더 재현 양상을 분석하고, 플레이어의 재생산 과정을 살펴보았다. 그 결과 게임 개발자로부터 선험적으로 주어지는 게임 캐릭터의 젠더 정체성은 현실의 관습 및 선입견을 답습하는 단계에 머무르고 있으며, 플레이어 또한 그러한 흐름에 부응하고 있었다. 온라인 게임은 플레이어의 텍스트 개입과 변환의 가능성이 높으며 끊임없이 발전하고 진화할 수 있는 대안적 공간으로서의 가능성을 내재하는 바, 인간 경험의 확장 가능성을 제시하고 현실의 한계를 극복할 수 있는 가능성을 지닌다.
