The degree of involvement was known to shape the types of decision- process behavior of consumers. The types of information search would be influenced according to the degree of involvement. The purpose of this study was to find out the fashion information sources used in clothing purchase, and to clarify the interrelationship of clothing involvement and information sources. The middle and high school girls in Seoul were the subjects of the study. The information sources were classified into three types; marketer-oriented, internal and personal sources. Fashion informations spreaded by mass media were the most diversely used by teens. Among fashion information sources, ‘my own thoughts and experiences’ was counted as the most important one. And ‘interior and display of the shop’ was more important than the other marketer-oriented informations. Clothing involvement in the aspect of pleasure/symbol showed meaningful correlation with the information of ‘street fashion’, but in the aspect of fashion consciousness, ‘fashion of movie stars and celebrities’was the most significant information source. It seemed that ‘fashion articles in the magazines’ was used to reduce perceived risk in clothing purchase.
The purpose of this study was to identify the factors which explain consumer's information search behavior. Data were analyzed by utilizing factor analysis and multiple-regression to investigate the relationship among information sources, benefit, and actual and ideal self- image and demographics. Based on the results, information sources for benefit, actual and ideal self-image were developed. Predictors of information sources, benefits, and self-image were identified. Marketing implication about information sources were discussed. The results were as follows. 1. Actual and ideal self-images and information sources were devised into three factors. And benefits were devised into five factors. 2. Actual self-image has more predicting power than ideal self-image to the benefits which consumer sought. Among five benefits, character pursuit was the best predicted factor according to the self-image. 3. Among three information sources, mass communication was the most effective source which can be explained by the benefit and self-image. Fashion pursuit factor was the most significant factor to the mass communication oriented source.
In this paper, the mathematical model on crosstalk effect between acoustic noise sources is presented. Based on this model, a theoretical value to quantitate crosstalk effect of sources can be defined on the authority of reverberation property of surrounding which sources are located, relative magnitudes of sources and phase deference between acoustic wave transferred from all of sources. In order to verify crosstalk effect factor, experiments are made for two cases, weak and strong crosstalk effect condition, by using toro representative transfer path analysis(TPA) methods.
In this paper, we propose a model of the collaborative authoring tool and its implementation results. In the 'collaborative authoring and automatic distribution system,' users can create eBooks by using partial works (primary and edited sources) on the basis of copyright information registered by the primary author. The Collaborative Authoring Tool is a part of "the collaborative authoring and automatic distribution system" developed through research on "the development of key technologies of social work protection and content mashup tools" as an R&D project granted by the Korea Copyright Commission from 2013. In the collaborative authoring and automatic distribution system, authors of primary sources such as images, audio clips and video clips for eBooks can register them together with the copyright information; users can edit the primary sources to produce secondary sources and in turn register the secondary sources on the system; and users can create and distribute eBooks by using the sources registered in the system.
We present recent results of very long baseline interferometry (VLBI) observations of gamma-ray bright active galactic nuclei (AGNs) using Korean VLBI Network (KVN) at 22, 43, 86, and 129~GHz bands, which are part of a KVN key science program; Interferometric Monitoring of Gamma-ray Bright AGNs (iMOGABA). We selected a total of 34 radio-loud AGNs of which 30 sources are gamma-ray bright AGNs, including 24 sources monitored by the Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope using the Large Area Telescope on board. The selected sources consist of 24 quasars, 7 BL Lacs, and 3 radio galaxies. In this talk, we summarize recent results of the iMOGABA, including results of single-epoch multi-frequency VLBI observations of the target sources, conducted during a 24-hr session on 2013 November 19 and 20. All observed sources were detected and imaged at all frequency bands with or without a frequency phase transfer technique which enabled to detect and image 12 faint sources at 129 GHz, except for 0218+357 which was detected for only one baseline at all frequency bands.
An Orphan Sources Control program controlled by a web based information system in Korea has been developed to satisfy the national demand on a total management of and integrated radiation safety. There are, currently, three approaches going on to control and manage the orphan sources in Korea. First, Korean regulatory authority has been conducting scrutinizing investigation on and thoroughly monitoring the possession of unlicensed radioactive sources from the late 1990s. Second, the regulatory authority will fully operate an information system on radiation safety to effectively trace and monitor all radioactive sources in the country by the mid 2001. Finally, the regulatory authority strongly advises steel mill companies to closely scrutinize and inspect the scrap metals when they attempt to reutilize metals to prevent from being contaminated by uncontrolled sources through the scrap monitoring systems.
The main objective of this study is to estimate location and strength of sound sources distributed on the surface of an enclosure. Acoustic holography method has been used to identify the sources in an interior sound field. However, it can not completely distinguish between the direct sound field from sources and the reflections from surfaces. The method just reconstructs the entire sound field based on the sound pressure at the finite number of measurement points. In this stduy, a method which estimates only the active sources by using measurements of field pressure and surface admittance is proposed. An in-situ technique to estimate the general boundary condition is also proposed by using acoustic holography, assuming the surfaces are locally reacting.
This study is to find out the emission estimation in Kimhae area. For this purpose, the Kimhae statistical yearbook and data of waste facilities issued by Kimhae city and the report on energy census issued by the ministry of trade, industry and energy are used. Each item for the emission estimation is $SO_2$, CO, HC, Nox, TSP from point, line, area sources. The results were as follows; The air pollutants with the highest mont of emission from the emission sources is CO followed by Nox, $SO_2$, TSP, HC in descending order of magnitude. The emission consists of 66.15% of line, 24.65% of area and 9.20% of point sources at Kimhae.
The objective of this paper is to obtain the contribution of each source to the spectrum of pressure, when there are multiple incoherent sources in near-field acoustic holography. For this objective, we have to obtain signals very coherent to the input signals of the sources. To obtain the very coherent signals, many people have measured pressure signals in the vincinity of the sources. However, it is sometimes difficult to locate microphones near to the sources so that the signals are very coherent to the input signals. This paper proposed a method to obtain the very coherent signals by near-field acoustic holography. Therefore, the proposed method does not require the measurement of pressure near to each source. Simulation results for two incoherent monopole sources showed the possibility of the proposed method.
Atmospheric-pressure plasmas are used in a variety of materials processes. The lifetime of most atmospheric-pressure plasma sources is limits by electrode erosion due to energetic ion bombardment. These drawbacks were solved recently by several microplasma sources based on microstrip structure, which are more efficient and less prone to perturbations than other microplasma sources. In this work, we propose microplasma sources based on strip line and microstrip line, developed for the generation of microplasmas even in atmospheric air and analyzes these systems with microwave field simulation via comparative study with two previous microwave sources (Microstrip Spit Ring Resonator (MSRR), Microstrip Structure Source (MSS)).
