선박용 정유기 고형분 분리 성능시험 규격기준에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Standard Criteria of Solid Particle Separation Test for Marine Centrifugal Purifier)

  • In order to establish a criteria of solid particle separation performance test on marine centrifugal purifier at factory acceptance test, an investigation had been done on criteria of test standards, regulations and test specifications of purifier manufactures. KS V 7836, fuel oil and lubricating oil purifiers for marine use-centrifugal type, the criteria of solid particle separation is studied in the point of reality, restricts and analysis method. It is proposed that a reasonable criteria and analysis method should be adopted, and the current criteria shall be revised to adequate levels considering reasonable basis and industrial technology levels. Also, the test analysis conceptions, separation efficiency method and particle size restriction method, are reviewed to fulfil separation performance test for marine centrifugal purifiers.

  • In order to provide reliability. reproducibility. objectivity of solid particle separation performance test on marine centrifugal purifier, an investigation had been done on solid test dusts. test standards and designation of a definite standard test dust In test specifications or standards. ISO 121031-1 A2 test dust is the best test particle to meet commercial and military fuel oil and lube oil requirements on marine standards.

벤토나이트를 이용한 양돈 폐수의 고액분리 (Solid-liquid Separation of Swine Wastewater using Bentonite)

  • Solid-liquid separation of swine wastewater was conducted using bentonite as coagulant. During the separation experiment, coagulation efficiency was also investigated. To determine optimal bentonite dose, 0.1, 0.2, 0.4, 0.8, and 1.6% (w/v basis) of bentonite was dosed. Suspended solid removal efficiency was 87-98% at whole bentonite dosage. But sediment volume was increased, and settling velocity was decreased at excessive bentonite dosage. Therefore optimal bentonite dosage was evaluated around 0.2-0.4%. In the test to determine optimal pH, coagulation using bentonite was performed at pH 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7. At lower pH suspended solid removal efficiency was increased. However, sediment volume was also increased and phosphorus release was observed. Thereby optimal pH for bentonite coagulation might be appeared in the range of 6-7.

Design for a Low-Pressure Hydrocyclone with Application for Fecal Solid Removal Using Polystyrene Particles

  • The separation performances for thirty different dimensions of a low-pressure hydrocyclone (LPH) were tested in order to obtain an optimum dimension scale for fecal solid removal from an aquaculture system. The geometric variables were considered on two inlet diameters (Di: 30 and 50 mm), five overflow diameters (Do: 30, 50, 60, 70 and 100 mm), and three cylinder lengths (Lc: 250, 345 and 442 mm), while the cylinder diameter (Dc) of 335 mm, underflow diameter (Du) of 50 mm and cone angle (${\theta}$) of $68^{\circ}$ were kept constant. A small size for carp feces was regarded as the target for the removal of solids. Spherical polystyrene particles (1.1-1.3 mm dia., ${\rho}_s=1.05g/cm^3$), which demonstrate a similar settling velocity and specific gravity to the carp feces, were used as feed. The separation performance was tested in the range of 330 to 1200 ml/s of the inflow rate. Experimental results using ANCOVA and the Tukey test (${\alpha}=0.05$) demonstrated that the separation performances of LPH were significantly affected (P<0.05) by fi, Di and Do. In contrast, there was no significant Lc effect (P>0.05) on the separation performances. The maximum separation performance was detected at dimension combinations of 30 mm of inflow diameter (Di), 50, 60 and 70 mm of overflow diameter (Do), 345 mm of cylinder length (Lc). The dimension proportions were 0.09, 1.03, 0.15-0.21 and 0.15 (or Di/Dc, Lc/Dc, Do/Dc and Du/Dc, respectively.

Design of a Low-Pressure Hydrocyclone with Application for Fine Settleable Solid Removal Using Substitute Polystyrene Particles

  • By testing the separation performance for a fine settleable solid removal system in an aquaculture system using polystyrene particles as an experimental substitute, the optimal geometric dimensions for a Low-Pressure Hydrocyclone (LPH) were obtained. The design approach far the LPH took into consideration two inflow diameters (Di: 30, 50 mm), three overflow diameters (Do: 60, 70, 100 mm) and four cylinder lengths (Lc: 250, 345, 442, 575 mm), while the cylinder diameter (Dc) at 335 mm, the underflow diameter (Du) at 50 mm and the cone angle (${\theta}$) at $68^{\circ}$ were kept constant. The separation performances of 19 different dimension combinations of LPH were tested, ranging from 300 to 1200 ml/sec of inflow rate using substitute polystyrene particles (0.4-0.7 mm dia., ${\rho}_s=1.05g/cm^3$). These polystyrene particles exhibit a similar density and settling velocity to the fine fecal debris of the common carp. The total separation efficiency for the inflow rate ranged from a high of 97% to a low of 20%. Experimental results obtained by ANCOVA and the Tukey test (${\alpha}=0.05$) showed that the separation performances of the LPH were significantly affected (P<0.05) by the fi, Di, Do and Lc. The maximum separation performance was detected at a dimension combination of 30 mm of inflow diameter (Di), 60 mm of overflow diameter (Do), 442 and 575 mm of cylinder length (Lc). The dimension proportions were 0.09, 1.32-1.72, 0.18 and 0.15 for Di/Dc, Lc/Dc, Do/Dc and Du/Dc respectively.

  • 하나의 고체 추진기관에서 이중펄스 추력을 발생시키는 기술은 기존의 일회성 추력발생 방식에 비하여 여러 가지 장점이 있다. 추진기관에 펄스분리장치를 적용하면 적절한 추력배분을 통하여 유도탄의 사거리 연장 및 종말속도를 향상시킨다. 본 연구에서는 격벽형 펄스분리장치의 성능을 검증하기 위하여 소형 추진기관을 설계, 제작하여 지상연소시험을 수행하였다. 이를 통하여 펄스분리장치의 파열특성, 구조적 안전성 및 내열특성 등을 확인하였으며 향후 실물형 이중펄스 추진기관 설계 시 필요한 데이터 등을 확보하였다.

케토프로펜-${\beta}$-시클로덱스트린 고체분산체의 마이크로캅셀화 및 제어 방출 (Preparation and Controlled Release of Microcapsules Containing $Ketoprofen-{\beta}-Cyclodextrin$ Solid Dispersion)

  • This study was aimed to control the release characteristics of ketoprofen by microencapsulating $ketoprofen-{\beta}-cyclodextrin\;(KF-{\beta}-CyD)$ solid dispersion with Eudragit RS by the phase separation method using a nonaqueous vehicle. KF alone was also microencapsulated with Eudragit RS by the evaporation process in water phase. The results obtained showed that it was not possible to microencapsulate KF alone by phase separation in a chloroform-cyclohexane system while it was easy to microencapsulate $(KF-{\beta}-CyD)$ solid dispersion system. For the microcapsules, the release test was performed in the first fluid (pH 1.2) and the second fluid (pH 6.8) of K.P.V disintegration medium at $37^{\circ}C$. The release of KF from $(KF-{\beta}-CyD)$ solid dispersion microcapsules (1:1 core wall ratio) was more sustained than that from KF microcapsules, and followed zero-order kinetics. Especially, solid dispersion microcapsules showed pH-independent release patterns with higher wall to core ratio (1:1 w/w).

오염 준설퇴적토의 입자분리기술에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Particle Separation Technology of Contaminated Dredged Sediments)

  • 최근 국내의 준설퇴적오니 오염문제가 부각되고 있으며, 이에 따라 퇴적오니 오염의 정화를 위한 기술의 필요성이 증대되고 있다. 국내에서는 준설퇴적물에 응집제를 투입하여 응집 침전 후 탈수하여 매립하고 있으나, 과도한 슬러지 발생과 운송비 부담 등으로 경제성이 떨어져 새로운 처리방법의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 준설퇴적물 내 오염물질은 큰 입자에 비하여 작은 입자에 강하게 흡착되어 있어 입자별로 분리하면 처분량 및 처분비용을 감소시킬 수 있고, 후속처리 공정에 효율적인 하이드로사이클론을 통한 전처리기술을 이용하여 준설퇴적물 처리의 적합성을 파악하였다. 즉, 준설퇴적물의 입자분리를 위하여 하이드로사이클론을 운전한 결과 고형물함량과 유입압력이 분리효율에 큰 영향을 미쳤다.

고기동 추진기관의 노즐개방형 측추력기 개발 (Development of Side Jet Thruster with Nozzle Closure Separation Device)

  • 노즐개방형 측추력기는 고체 추진기관을 사용하는 비행체의 궤도 수정 기능을 제공하는 장치이다. 노즐개방형 측추력기는 비교적 낮은 연소온도를 가지는 추진제, 안정된 추력을 공급하기 위한 중립형 추진제 그레인, 선택적 노즐 사용이 가능한 노즐개방장치로 구성되었다. 궤도 수정이 요구되면 추력 반대방향으로 필요한 추력만큼 노즐을 개방하여 비행체에 측추력을 발생시킨다. 궤도 수정 후 추력방향으로 노즐을 개방하여 측추력을 제거함으로써 추력 발생을 정지한다. 지상연소시험을 통해 측추력기의 작동과정을 확인하였으며, 본 연구를 통하여 개발된 노즐개방형 측추력기는 노즐개방을 통한 측추력 제어를 통해 비행체의 궤도 수정에 활용할 수 있다.

  • 다중펄스 로켓모타 기술은 일회성 추력발생 방식을 다회성으로 펄스화하여 로켓모타의 보유 에너지를 효율적으로 배분함으로서 유도탄의 사거리 증가와 종말속도를 향상시키므로 기동성과 명중률을 크게 향상시킬 수 있는 첨단기술이다. 본 연구에서는 다중펄스 로켓모타에 적용되는 격벽형 펄스분리장치를 설계하고, 그 시제품을 개발하였다. 펄스 분리장치의 핵심 부품인 격벽과 파열판에 대한 탄소성 구조 해석을 수행하였다. 제작된 시제품에 대한 구조적 안정성을 확인하기 위한 공압 시험을 실시하였다. 시험 결과를 해석과 비교 분석하였으며, 비교적 일치함을 확인 할 수 있었다.
