마그네슘 합금의 방청을 위한 하이브리드 졸-겔 코팅제의 개발 (Development of Hybrid Sol-Gel Coating to Prevent Corrosion of Magnesium Alloys)

  • The high rate of corrosion of magnesium alloys makes it limited for industrial applications. Therefore, surface treatment is required to enhance their corrosion resistance. In our study, a chemical conversion coating for protecting the corrosion of the magnesium alloy, AZ31B, was prepared by using a phosphate-permanganate solution. The chemical conversion coating had a limited protection ability due to defects arising from cracks and pores in the coating layer. The sol-gel coating was prepared by using trimethoxymethylsilane (MTMS) and 3-glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane (GPTMS) as precursors, and aluminum acetyl acetonate as a ring opening agent. The corrosion protection properties of sol-gel and conversion coatings in 0.35wt% NaCl solution were measured by the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and potentiodynamic polarization test. The EIS results indicated that the resistance of the chemical conversion coating with the sol-gel coating was significantly improved through the sol-gel sealed phosphate-permanganate conversion coating. The results of the potentiodynamic polarization test revealed that the sol-gel coating decreased the corrosion current density ($I_{corr}$). The SEM image showed that the sol-gel coating sealed conversion coating and improved corrosion protection.

  • D $y_{x}$B $i_{3-x}$F $e_{5}$ $O_{12}$(x=0.5,1.0,1.5,2.0) 가네트 박막을 sol-gel법의 일종인 Pechini법의 이용하여 $Al_2$ $O_3$, G $d_3$G $a_{5}$ $O_{12}$ (111) 평면에 성장시켰다. 단일 조성의 D $y_{x}$B $i_{3-x}$F $e_{5}$ $O_{12}$ 박막을 얻기 위한 열처리 온도는 기판의 종류에 의존하며, 박막과 같은 구조의 G $d_3$G $a_{5}$ $O_{12}$ (111) 기판의 경우 A1$_2$ $O_3$ 기판을 사용한 경우에 비해 단일 조성을 얻기 위한 열처리 온도가 약 5$0^{\circ}C$ 감소함을 알 수 있었다. G $d_3$G $a_{5}$ $O_{12}$ (111) 기판 위에 성장된 가네트 박막의 낟알들은 대부분 기판과 같은 [111] 방향으로 정렬하며, 이 경우 박막의 자기 이력 곡선은 5000 Oe 이상에서도 포화 자기화에 도달하지 못하는 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 현상의 원인으로 회전 자기화 과정 (rotation magnetization process)에 의한 것으로 추정하였다. Pechini 법으로 성장시킨 D $y_{x}$B $i_{3-x}$F $e_{5}$ $O_{12}$ 박막에서 단위 세포 당 최대 Bi 이온의 양은 2.0 이하임을 처음으로 확인하였고, 이는 LPE법에 의해 성장된 단결정 가네트의 경우에 알려진 최대 Bi이온의 양 2.3보다 작은 값이다.에 알려진 최대 Bi이온의 양 2.3보다 작은 값이다.은 값이다.

  • Novel amphiphilic, thermo-responsive polyaspartamides which showed both LCST (lower critical solution temperature), and sol-gel transition were prepared and characterized. The polyaspartamide derivatives were synthesized from polysuccinimide, the polycondensate of aspartic acid monomer, via successive nucleophilic ring-opening reaction by using dodecylamine and N-isopropylethylenediamine (NIPEDA). At the intermediate composition ranges, the dilute aqueous solution exhibited a thermally responsive phase separation due to the presence of LCST. The phase transition temperature was controllable by changing the content of pendent groups. In addition, a physical gelation, i.e. the sol-gel transition was observed from the concentrated solutions, which was elucidated by dynamic viscoelastic measurements. These novel injectable and thermo-responsive hydrogels have potential for various biomedical applications such as tissue engineering and current drug delivery system.

  • $Ti(i-OC_3H_7)_4$알콕사이드를 출발원료로 사용한 sol-gel법을 이용하여 Rutle, Anatase 결정상의 $TiO_2$박막을 제조하였다. 결정화 정도란 관점에서 $TiO_2$ 박막의 결정상에 미치는 첨가물의 영향을 조사하였다. 3차 비선형 광학 감수율을 THG법을 이용하여 측정하였으며, Rutle 과 Anatase 결정상의 $TiO_2$ 박막의 3차 비선형 광학 감수율은 각각 $1.4{\times}10^{-12}$$9.7{\times}10^{-13}$ esu의 값을 얻었다.

  • BaTiO$_3$ powder has been applied in so much electronic ceramics. Therefore, as recent, the method to add or coat additive will be needed BaTiO$_3$ powder. As a kind of the method, the coating of BaTiO$_3$ powder was considered. In this study, during BaTiO$_3$ powder was coated by BaTiO$_3$ sol, gelation path was experimented. Standard coating condition was set for homogeneous coating. The phase of the gel was deferent by gelation path. It was confirmed the amorphous gel was made in BaTiO$_3$ phase easily at low temperature. In the amorphous gel, particle growth was shown at 900$^{\circ}C$, because crystallization temperature was low. The optimal ratio of sol and powder was at 10 vol% for the homogeneous coating.

  • Polycrystalline SBTN ferroelectric thin films were prepared by sol-gel method with various Nb mole ratios on Pt/ $SiO_2$/Si (100) substrates. The films were annealed at different temperatures and characterized in terms of phase and microstructure. Relatively a well saturated hysteresis pattern was obtained at x =0.2 in S $r_{0.8}$B $i_{2.3}$(T $a_{1-x}$ N $b_{x}$)$_2$ $O_{9+}$$\alpha$/ thin films. At an applied voltage of 5V, the dielectric constant ($\varepsilon$$_{r}$) and dissipation factor (tan $\delta$) of typical S $r_{0.8}$B $i_{2.3}$(T $a_{1-x}$ N $b_{x}$)$_2$ $O_{9+}$$\alpha$/ thin film (x=0.2) were about 236.2 and 0.034. Measured remanent polarization (2Pr) and coercive field (Ec) were 4.28C/c $m_2$, and 38.88kv/cm respectively. No fatigue was observed up to 6$\times$10$_{10}$ switching cycles at 5V and the normalized polarization reduced by a factor of only 4%.%. 4%.%. 4%.%.%.%.%.

Sol-gel법에 의한 Al과 F가 첨가된 ZnO 투명전도막의 전기 및 광학적 특성 (Electrical and optical properties of Al and F doped ZnO transparent conducting film by sol-gel method)

  • Al이 첨가된 ZnO(ZnO : Al) 박막과 F이 첨가된 ZnO(ZnO : F) 박막을 sol-gel 법을 이용하여 glass 기판위에 코팅하였다. 공통적으로 (002)면의 c-축 배향성을 보였지만 I(002)/[I(002) + I(101)]와 FWHM(full width at half-maximum) 값은 차이를 보였다. 특히 입자크기에 있어서는 ZnO : Al 박막에서 첨가농도가 증가함에 따라 입자크기가 감소한 반면 ZnO : F 박막에서는 F 3 at%까지 입자크기가 증가하다가 그 이후로 다시 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 진기적 성질의 측정을 위해서 Hall effect measurement를 이용하였는데 ZnO : Al 박막의 경우 Al 1 at%에서 비저항이 $2.9{\times}10^{-2}{\Omega}cm$ 이었고 ZnO : F에서는 F 3 at%에서 $3.3{\times}10^{-1}{\Omega}cm$의 값을 보였다. 또한 ZnO : F 박막은 ZnO : Al 박막에 비해서 캐리어 농도는 낮았지만(ZnO : Al $4.8{\times}10^{18}cm^{-3}$, ZnO : F $3.9{\times}10^{16}cm^{-3}$) 이동도에 있어서 상당히 큰 값(ZnO : Al $45cm^2/Vs$ ZnO:F $495cm^2/Vs$)을 보였다. 가시광선 영역에서의 평균 광투과도에 있어서는 ZnO : Al 박막에서 $86{\sim}90%$의 값을 보였지만 ZnO : F에서는 $77{\sim}85%$로 상대적으로 낮은 광투과도를 나타내었다.

  • On the bases of the results from "Additive Coating of BaTiO$_3$ Powder using Sol Coating Method I", experimental condition was defined. Representative additives for BaTiO$_3$, that is to say, Mg, Ca and Mn were experimented. The sources of the metal ion were used by organometal complex. As added it, the stability of BaTiO$_3$ sol was evaluated. Mg and Ca were stable, however, The solubility limit of Mn-ATH was 0.05 mol ratio in Mn-ATH/sol. The solubility limit of Mg ion in BaTiO$_3$ was lower than 2 mol%. From the x Ray diffraction patterns, lattice parameters were different with temperature and additives, because the solubility of metal ion was varied in BaTiO$_3$. The dielectric constant of BaTiO$_3$ powders which coated with the 1.5 mol% Mg and calcined at 1200$^{\circ}C$ was increased with 20%.

  • 염소법과 졸-겔법으로 $TiO_2$ 광촉매 분말을 제조하였다. 제조방법 및 조건에 따라 촉매의 결정상 형태(아나타제와 루타일)와 비표면적이 변화하는 것을 알 수 있었다. TTIP-sol로 제조한 광촉매가 염소법이나 TBOT-sol로 제조한 광촉매에 비해 methylene blue (MB) 분해 특성이 더 높았으며, 수용액상의 90% 이상의 MB를 제거할 수 있었다. 실험 결과를 통해 $TiO_2$ 광촉매는 단일 아나타제상와 큰 비표면적을 가지면 유기물 분해 특성을 향상될 수 있는 것을 확인하였다.

  • ZnO thin films with preferred orientation along the (0 0 2) plane were fabricated by a sol-gel method. The effects of the annealing temperature, time, and thickness were studied by investigating UV-visible spectra, FT-IR spectra, and XRD of ZnO films. The films were dried and annealed ed at $100^{\circ}C,\;200^{\circ}C$, and $300^{\circ}C$ for 1hr, 2hrs, and 3hrs, respectively. The film showed the preferred (0 0 2) orientation and high transmittance near 90% in the visible range. Also, SEM images of the films exhibited very smooth surfaces without holes and cracks. Schottky diodes were fabricated by using ZnO sol-gel material. Au and Al were used as electrodes to make Ohmic and Schottky contacts, respectively. The annealing temperature, time and the thickness dependent I-V characteristics were presented in this article.
