A Study on Improving Recruiting-Job Seeking Matching Service for Software Developers (소프트웨어인력 취업과 채용 매칭서비스 개선방안 연구)

  • The purpose of this research is to find a solution for matching service between recruiting and job seeking of software developers. An efficient matching service solution is essential for acquiring solid global competitiveness in software industry and IT academia. An in-depth analysis on deep-rooted problems on mismatching has been performed. Past and present policies on mismatching solutions have been reviewed based on desirable co-growth structure. A new matching solution has been derived and a triple-helix strategy has been suggested. A survey result for 14 domain experts and 85 employees of large and small software companies shows that the suggested matching solution is useful. The results of this research can be used for finding a better matching service solution and policies.

  • Service science is a new application area that implements services in an interdisciplinary area of management, economics, and engineering. Service systems provide functionalities of traditional software systems, moreover the functionalities are more intellectual in that they require dynamic context awareness, analysis, and decision making based on the recognized and analyzed contexts. However, conventional software development approaches do not sufficiently provide methods to model the service requirements and to design service-intensive systems. Therefore, there is a great demand on effective methodologies for developing service systems. In this paper, we compare traditional software systems with service-intensive systems in order to identify characteristics of the service systems. And, we propose a step-wise process to model service systems, in terms of architecture, components, and workflows. Then, we show a case study on an emergency handling system which is a type of living assistant systems. We believe that the proposed approach can be used in developing high-quality service systems effectively.

  • Software product line engineering is an approach to creating core assets by systematically exploits common that can be highly reusableand different characteristics in related system families that is domain. By adapting this approachin object and component paradigm, software productivity is extended. Recently, Software development paradigm is changed to service oriented paradigm which is using services that are core assets. Therefore, to develop service oriented software more flexible, systematic and to enhance business agility about business changes, we need adaptation of product line to creation of services that are core assets. In this paper, we propose an approach to create and specify domain service through combine of product line and service oriented paradigm. Domain service explicitly specifies commonality and variability by domain service common/optional property variability, operation type variability, message type variability. By using this approach, it can support efficient and flexible service oriented development by producing various services through customization of domain service for the purpose.

  • In the software industry of Korean Small and Medium-sized Enterprise(SME)s, the development process is often not mature. This may lead to failures in quality control and output management. As a result, the quality of the software can be degraded. To solve the problem, the software visualization technique, which is from the National IT Industry Promotion Agency Software Engineering Center can be applied. We have experienced with mentoring not only the visualization of software development process, but also various visualization process of SMEs. However, the existing software visualization method was difficult to install environment and its time cost was high. This paper proposes a software visualization environment through a cloud service along with a case of building a software visualization environment. We expect that this method will make it easier to build a visualization environment and improve the quality of SME software.

  • In general, software upgrade technique is needed to add new features or fix bug of software on a network devices. However, the problem is that the software must be upgraded after the termination of networking service to replace new package. An ISSU(In-Service Software Upgrade) technique is used to solve such the problem. ISSU is a technology to upgrade the software without interrupting the network service or an offline network equipment. In this paper, to provide a seamless networking service, we design and implement an architecture to apply ISSU technique to a network operating system. In this paper, we use high-availability feature in N2OS which has been developed by ETRI. In addition, in order to verify that the implemented ISSU function is operation properly, we proceed to test using a test environment based on a virtual machine.

  • A cloud computing include a SaaS frameworks be able to use a software as a service. Despite the existing service depending on the difference of the tenant and the use, if the service provider re-establish a service, they are required resources In terms of costs and managerial. So we propose a technique for analysis software structure using the process algebra to reuse existing software. A process algebra analyze the structure of the software, express in business process or different languages and verify that it can be reused. As CCS in a process algebra is useful to convert the business process or XML, by using this, we structure a process and propose meta storage for comparison and management a structured document.

  • Nowadays, as the importance of service-oriented architecture software is recognized, the market of service-oriented software is getting bigger. In response to this, the requirements of high reliability and quality about service-oriented architecture software is getting increased. In this research, we clearly suggested the evaluation method by giving a specific evaluation example to evaluate the reliability qualify of service-oriented architecture software. It is expected to raise the objectivity and the utilization by inducing the reliability qualify improvement from this research.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine internet agent of IT(Information Technology) in health care industry Since IT is essential for corporate strategy in service management, this section examines IT in health care service, especially from the view of 'Agent Technology' that has been recently issued. Intelligent agent is a new paradigm for developing software applications. More than this, agent-based computing has been hailed as 'the next significant break-through in software development' and 'the new revolution in software'. And health care service is a non-mechanic, human-based service. This paper reviewed what possible suggestions or advices can be made to the health care service. Since many health care services using internet have been attempted over the recent years, this study will hopefully be able to come up with good suggestions from many aspects. Thus, information inequality between producer(physician) and consumer(patient) in health care service will be decreased through the introduction of agent technology.

  • As software systems become more complex and larger, software systems require a way to reuse software components or modules to provide new functionality. This paper designed a development method of web system combining SOA(Service Oriented Architecture) with MPSL(Multi-Software Product Line). According to provides SOA and MPSL, this paper suggested to service providers and service users to provide and reuse variable services. From the viewpoint of service provider, the suggested method identifies and implements reusable variable services as features by syntax-based, functional-based, and behavior-based methods applying feature identification guidelines and manages them as reuse assets. From the user's point of view, it is possible to develop a web system by constructing a service by workflow model as a method of structure and reconfigure services. As a result of measuring the reuse of the web system constructed in this paper by the function point, the cost reduction effect was verified by applying it to the similar project with the increase of reuse.

  • This paper was tried to show the improvement model for software industry structure in Korea regarding to have the global level of competence in Korean software firms. To suggest the improvement model for software industry structure, the detailed status about software industry which as in the supply and demand perspectives and comparativeness dimension were analysed. Also to this model the special survey results from the 35 professionalists in the software industry were included. This improvement model suggests the big software firms have to consider the economy of the scale, and to enter global IT market, the other SMEs have to pursuit themselves as a specified technology firms. So it is good for the oversea project collaboration with the solution provider firms and IT service firms. And it is desirable to make a the economy of scale regarding as the solution venture startup, M&A, networking the software firms as supply chain. Also the development of new business model for new market and firms with the high-tech business competency will be required.
