In the recent commercial DBMS market, as the users' burden and complaint which are related to high price licensing policy and late technical support service are increasingly rising, the concern for use of open source DBMS which has no problem with compatibility or stability is escalating. Due to the fact, the cases saving the cost are growing by converting Oracle Corporation's applications, which has about 60% share in the DBMS market, to an open source DBMS. However, in converting non-interchange sentences to an ANSI standard-based open source DBMS because of the use of PL/SQL in Oracle Corporation provides, a lot of manual work accompanies, so there is a lot of loss of time and money. Therefore, a tool that automatically converts PL/SQL to standard SQL is required. The proposed automation tool for the conversion of applications converts PL/SQL to Java Stored Procedure, an open source DBMS-based ANSI standard programming language. Through carrying out a test on the automation tool, it is proved that the tool will contribute to shortening time and saving cost by verifying the identity of input-output data and its reliability after correcting errors in converting to Java Stored Procedure.

As big data are one of main issues in the recent days, the interests on their technologies are also increasing. Among several technological bases, this study focuses on data visualization and R based on open source. In general, the term of data visualization can be summarized as the web technologies for constructing, manipulating and displaying various types of graphic objects in the interactive mode. R is an operating environment or a language for statistical data analysis from basic to advanced level. In this study, a web application with these technological aspects and components is newly implemented and exemplified with data visualization for geo-based open data provided by public organizations or government agencies. This application model does not need users' data building or proprietary software installation. Futhermore it is designed for users in the geo-spatial application field with less experiences and little knowledges about R. The results of data visualization by this application can support decision making process of web users accessible to this service. It is expected that the more practical and various applications with R-based geo-statistical analysis functions and complex operations linked to big data contribute to expanding the scope and the range of the geo-spatial application.
This study was conducted in an attempt to determine the factors that cause excessive daytime sleepiness among 927 subway station employees located in Seoul. Data were collected with a structured questionnaire through the web site and were analyzed using SPSS 20.0 statistical software. Results showed that marital status made a statistically significant difference in general characteristics, and hobby/leisure activities made a statistically significant difference in health-related characteristics. Workplace and satisfaction with the organization made a significant difference in job-related characteristics, and physical environment, job demand, job autonomy, relationship conflicts, organizational system, inappropriate compensation, and organizational culture made a statistically significant difference in job stress factors. Factors that affect excessive daytime sleepiness were hobby and leisure activities, satisfaction with the organization, physical environment, job demand, job autonomy, organizational system and organizational culture, showing a 20.5% explanatory power. This study proposes the operation of programs that can improve the physical environment, change the organizational system and increase satisfaction with the organizational culture among station employees in order that they can enjoy their hobby/leisure life and relieve job stress so that they can avoid excessive daytime sleepiness.

In a construction project, the portion for maintenance costs for a building is considerable compared to the initial construction cost. As such, Life Cycle Cost (LCC) analysis is being increasingly utilized to assess the design value of engineering work in Korea. Additionally, the Public Procurement Service in Korea announced that it will be mandatory for all domestic construction projects to adopt BIM. Furthermore, the paradigm for architectural design has shifted from 2D to 3D, and to BIM, which includes a data management system. Within this background, however, there is currently no adequate BIM-based LCC analysis software and the requirements of cost estimation for repair and replacement cost for a building is not completely adequate in BIM tools such as Revit and Archicad. Therefore, this study suggests a process of cost estimation for repair and replacement (R&R) cost based on IFC data. First, we analyzed existing R&R criteria and defined BIM-based requirements when calculating R&R costs. These requirements were extracted from relevant IFC data. Subsequently, this was saved to a database and a BIM-based database was built for R&R cost estimation. Finally, this database was connected with external databases such as R&R Criteria DB and Cost Information DB to calculate R&R costs. This process is expected to improve upon the traditional process of cost estimation of R&R cost by applying a BIM model. The proposed process can contribute to a further standardizing of BIM-based LCC analysis thru application to initial construction costs, energy costs, and other maintenance costs.
Objectives: The Clinical Decision Support System (CDSS), which analyzes and uses electronic health records (EHR) for medical care, pursues patient-centered medical care. It is necessary to establish the CDSS in Korean medical services for objectification and standardization. For this purpose, analyses were performed on the points to be followed for CDSS implementation with a focus on herbal medicine prescription. Methods: To establish the CDSS in the prescription of Traditional Korean Medicine, the current prescription practices of Traditional Korean Medicine doctors were analyzed. We also analyzed whether the prescription support function of the electronic chart was implemented. A questionnaire survey was conducted querying Traditional Korean Medicine doctors working at Traditional Korean Medicine clinics and hospitals, to investigate their desired CDSS functions, and their perceived effects on herbal medicine prescription. The implementation of the CDSS among the audit software developers used by the Korean medical doctors was examined. Results: On average, 41.2% of Traditional Korean Medicine doctors working in Traditional Korean Medicine clinics manipulated 1 to 4 herbs, and 31.2% adjusted 4 to 7 herbs. On average, 52.5% of Traditional Korean Medicine doctors working in Traditional Korean Medicine hospitals adjusted 1 to 4 herbs, and 35.5% adjusted 4 to 7 herbs. Questioning the desired prescription support function in the electronic medical record system, the Traditional Korean Medicine doctors working at Korean medicine clinics desired information on 'medicine name, meridian entry, flavor of medicinals, nature of medicinals, efficacy,' 'herb combination information' and 'search engine by efficacy of prescription.' The doctors also desired compounding contraindications (eighteen antagonisms, nineteen incompatibilities) and other contraindicatory prescriptions, 'medicine information' and 'prescription analysis information through basic constitution analyses.' The implementation of prescription support function varied by clinics and hospitals. Conclusion: In order to implement and utilize the CDSS in a medical service, clinical information must be generated and managed in a standardized form. For this purpose, standardization of terminology, coding of prescriptions using a combination of herbal medicines, and unification such as the preparation method and the weights and measures should be integrated.
The BIM design is expected to expand to the domestic and overseas construction industries, depending on the effect of construction productivity and quality improvement. However, with the obligation of Public Procurement Service to design the BIM design, it includes a design error and the problem of utilization of 3D design by choosing a simple 2D to 3D remodelling method that can not be modelled in 3D modeling or use of the construction and maintenance phases. The results reviewed by BIM design results were largely underutilized and were not even performed with the verification of the error. In order to resolve this, one must develop the check system that secures the quality of BIM design and ensure that the reliability of BIM results are available. In this study, it is designed to develop a program that can automatically verify the design of the BIM design results such as violation of the rules of the BIM design, design flaws, and improve the usability of the BIM design. In particular, this programs were developed not only to identify programmes that were not commercially available, but also to validate drawings in low-light computer environments. The developed program(LH-BIM) store the information of attribute extracted from the Revit file(ArchiCAD, IFC file included) in the integrated DB. This provides the ability to freely lookup the features and properties of drawings delivered exclusively by the LH-BIM Program without using the Revit tools. By doing so, it was possible to resolve the difficulties of using traditional commercial programs and to ensure that they operate only with traditional PC performance. Further, the results of the various BIM software can be readily validated, which can be solved the conversion process error of IFC in the case of SMC. Additionally, the developed program has the ability to automatically check the error and design criteria of the drawings, as well as the ability to calculate the area estimation. These functions allow businesses to apply simple and easy tasks to operate tasks of BIM modelling. The developed system(LH-BIM) carried out a verification test by reviewing the review of the BIM Design model of the Korea Land & Housing Corporation. It is hoped that the verification system will not only be able to achieve the Quality of BIM design, but also contribute to the expansion of BIM and future construction BIM.
This study focused on mobile trend in diffusion of smart phone. Presently, it has been evolved from digital nomad to smart nomad. Smart nomad era is based on digital technology with mobility and being smart. Smart nomad that is made up high-end device and intellectual content has changed structure of industry and life style. Smart phone is a core key in smart nomad era. In 2010 smart phone has been distributed about 2.5 hundreds million which is 20% of whole mobile phone sales and the volume of smart phone sales will be getting bigger and bigger in near future. Although, there are various reasons for success of smart phone market, this research focused 4 reasons: first, development of mobile device, second, evolution of mobile content distribution, third, support of government system, fourth, success of Docomo i-mode and Apple i phone. Smart phone will grow up more rapidly. Smart phone eco-system will be more competitive in the world. In Korea, smart phone eco-system also will be very competitive. For success in the middle of this competitive environment, Korea should lead the competitive phase with development of ability of creation software and content, construction of various partnership and evolution of next generation technology and service.

BPEL is used in various domains since it can describe the flow of works according to conditions and rules, and it can call web services in service-oriented computing environments. However, new functions that are not provided by BPEL grammar are required in specific domains. Generally, when new functions are required, the domain-specific language should be newly defined and developed, which requires high development cost. In this regard, a new function needs to be defined and added instead of developing domain-specific language with the new functions added. However, such methods only allow an addition of a single function, and it is difficult to design and add new functions according to the needs. This paper defines XAS4B document, which extends the BPEL grammar function through XML schema in order to add new functions, and proposes BPEL engine generator that generates BPEL engine with the new functions added by processing the document. The XAS4B document enables the creation of a new grammar added to BPEL using XML schema. It also shows the process of adding new functions to BPEL engine using AspectJ, JAVA implementation of aspect-oriented programming. The proposed system can add new functions using AspectJ without modifying BPEL engine. This allows the provision of new functions at low cost in various domains.

With the development of deep learning technology, voice processing-related technology is applied to various areas, such as STT (Speech To Text), TTS (Text To Speech), ChatBOT, and intelligent personal assistant. In particular, the STT is a voice-based, relevant service that changes human languages to text, so it can be applied to various IT related services. Recently, many places, such as general private enterprises and public institutions, are attempting to introduce the relevant technology. On the other hand, in contrast to the general IT solution that can be evaluated quantitatively, the standard and methods of evaluating the accuracy of the STT engine are ambiguous, and they do not consider the characteristics of the Korean language. Therefore, it is difficult to apply the quantitative evaluation standard. This study aims to provide a guide to an evaluation of the STT engine conversion performance based on the characteristics of the Korean language, so that engine manufacturers can perform the STT conversion based on the characteristics of the Korean language, while the market could perform a more accurate evaluation. In the experiment, a 35% more accurate evaluation could be performed compared to the existing methods.
The purpose of this study is to define the effects of the roles played by the Doulas : one group educated on the conventional Lamaze method known to have effects on birth pang during delivery process and the other group educated both on Lamaze and therapeutic touch. On the various factors of delivery, and thereby, provide for some basic data to develop an effective nursing intervention to relieve women of their birth pang. 136 mothers who were hospitalized in a general hospital from June 13, 1998 to May 13, 1998 to May 13, 1999 to deliver their first babies were sampled to be divided into control group, test group I and test group II and thus be subject to interviews and observations. As for the tool of study, melzack's(1975) 'pain scale', McCaffery's(1972) and Mcrachlan's(1974) 'pain expression scales' and Spielberger's (1975) 'anxiety scale' were used. The preparatory educational programs consisted of 5week Lamaze method and therapeutic touch. The research, design was quasi-experimental, non equivalent, posttest only control group design. The collected data were processed using the SPSS/PC statistics software for frequencies, means and one-way Anova as well as Tukey HSD and Scheffe test as post hoc for individual comparison. Moreover, chi-square test was used to test the differences between groups, while Pearson's correlation coefficients were analyzed to determine the correlations between anxiety and variables. The findings are as follows ; 1. The birth pain of the mothers delivering first babies scored in a subjective and objective pain scale; 1) There was a significant difference of subjective birth pain at 8~10cm opening of cervix between control group and two test groups. 2) There was no significant difference of objective birth pain as per opening of cervex among three groups in terms of sweating, facial movement, bodily posture and vocal changes. 2. There was no significant difference of trait anxiety among three groups. however, there was a significant difference of state anxiety during labor process between control group and two test groups. On the other hand, all the three groups showed a significantly lower level of anxiety during labor process than when they were carried to the hospital. 3. There was a significant difference of the time of total and first-stage labor among three groups, while there was a significant but small difference of the time elapsed from 8~10cm cervix open to the full among three groups. 4. Two test groups showed a higher frequency of natural deliveries than the control group. 5. Two test groups were subject to these drugs than the control group. In conclusion, it was found that the test group I and II showed a shorter delivery time than the control group, a higher frequency of natural delivery and a lesser use of anodyne or epidural. In particular, this study is significant to develop a nursing intervention service or a therapeutic touch which the nursing administrators can apply to their hospitals in marketing programs.
