A Framework for Enterprise Information Supply Chain Using XBRL Web Services (XBRL을 활용한 기업정보공급사슬의 웹서비스 구현방안에 대한 연구)

  • We introduce about XBRL, eXtensible Business Reporting Language, which is widely accepted as the international standard language for business financial reporting. XBRL is a language for the electronic communication of business and financial data which is revolutionizing business reporting around the world. It provides major benefits in the preparation, analysis and communication of business information. It offers cost savings, greater efficiency and improved accuracy and reliability to all those involved in supplying or using financial data. XBRL is a kind of XML application based on the open Internet technologies. We propose a framework for enterprise information supply chain using XBRL Web services. A Web service is defined as a software system based on XML and designed to support interoperable machine-to-machine interaction over a network by the W3C. Web services are frequently just application programming interfaces (API) that can be accessed over a network, such as the internet and executed on a remote system hosting the requested services. An XBRL Web service-based enterprise information supply chain enables for companies to implement seamless information supply chains from businesses to financial institutions, to supervisory authorities, and to other stake holders for real time information access. And thereby it is expected to contribute to the increase in the value of companies due to the enhanced visibility and transparency of accounting and management.

  • Blackboard architecture was designed as a means for dealing with ill-defined and complex problems. In order to improve the efficiency of the systems using blackboard architecture, this paper proposes a mechanism for fast detection of knowledge source activations which can contribute potentially to the problem solving of blackboard systems, whenever the state of blackboard is changed. The proposed mechanism uses a Rete network generated from the activation conditions subscribed by all knowledge sources to process the pattern matching between blackboard data and the activation conditions efficiently.

  • 데이터 센터를 기반으로 서비스를 수행하는 기업들은 비용절감을 위해 서버 가상화 기술을 이용한다. 서버 가상화를 이용하는 기업들은 대부분 하이퍼바이저 기반의 서버 가상화 기술을 사용하며, 이 경우 하드웨어 가상화를 통해 커널 단에서 많은 I/O와 리소스를 처리해야 한다. 따라서 하이퍼바이저 기반의 서비스는 느리다는 단점이 있으며 이를 해결하기 위해 컨테이너 기반의 가상화 기술을 이용할 수 있다. 하지만 컨테이너 기반의 네트워크 또한 문제점이 존재한다. 컨테이너 기반의 네트워크는 유연한 네트워크를 구성하기 어렵고, 기존의 컨테이너 네트워크 인터페이스를 활용할 경우 데이터 전송 성능이 저하된다. 본 논문에서는 컨테이너 오케스트레이션 툴인 Kubernetes와 SDN (Software-Defined Network) 기반의 가상전용 네트워크 연계 환경을 구축하고 이에 적합한 컨테이너 네트워크를 연구하여 이의 문제점을 해결한다. 즉, 가상전용 네트워크와 Kubernetes의 연계를 통해 고성능의 유연한 네트워크를 구성할 수 있는 프레임워크를 개발하여 기존 컨테이너 기반 네트워크와 비교하고 성능을 검증했다.

  • 최근 급격히 증가한 모바일 기기로 인하여 발생되는 데이터/제어 트래픽은 LTE/EPC 네트워크에서 중앙에 과다한 트래픽 수용문제가 중요 이슈로 부각되고 있다. 기존의 Centralized Mobility Management(CMM) 기반의 LTE/EPC 네트워크에서 Mobility Anchor 역할을 수행하는 Packet Data Network Gateway (P-GW)에서는 데이터 트래픽 과부하가 발생한다. 또한 Distributed Mobility Management (DMM) 기반의 LTE/EPC 네트워크에서 분산된 Mobility Anchor 역할을 수행하는 PDN Edge Gateway (P-EGW)에서는 제어 트래픽의 과부하가 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 CMM 기반과 DMM 기반을 결합한 새로운 Software Defined Network (SDN) 기반의 LTE/EPC 네트워크 이동성 관리 기법을 제안한다. 이를 위하여, P-EGW를 네트워크 내에 분산 배치하고 중앙에 P-GW를 배치한다. SDN 컨트롤러는 EPC의 역할도 수행하며 UE의 이동성에 따라 적절한 CMM 기법과 DMM 기법을 이용하도록 하는 기법을 제안한다. 또한, 제안하는 새로운 LTE/EPC 네트워크 구조와 기존의 CMM기반의 LTE/EPC 네트워크 구조, DMM 기반의 LTE/EPC 네트워크 구조를 핸드오버 지연시간과 데이터 전송시간 측면에서 성능 비교 분석을 한다.

Character Classification with Triangular Distribution

  • Due to the development of artificial intelligence and image recognition technology that play important roles in the field of 4th industry, office automation systems and unmanned automation systems are rapidly spreading in human society. The proposed algorithm first finds the variances of the differences between the tile values constituting the learning characters and the experimental character and then recognizes the experimental character according to the distribution of the three learning characters with the smallest variances. In more detail, for 100 learning data characters and 10 experimental data characters, each character is defined as the number of black pixels belonging to 15 tile areas. For each character constituting the experimental data, the variance of the differences of the tile values of 100 learning data characters is obtained and then arranged in the ascending order. After that, three learning data characters with the minimum variance values are selected, and the final recognition result for the given experimental character is selected according to the distribution of these character types. Moreover, we compare the recognition result with the result made by a neural network of basic structure. It is confirmed that satisfactory recognition results are obtained through the processes that subdivide the learning characters and experiment characters into tile sizes and then select the recognition result using variances.

Multi-system vehicle formation control based on nearest neighbor trajectory optimization

  • In the present study, a novel optimization method in formation control of multi -system vehicles based on the trajectory of the nearest neighbor trajectory is presented. In this regard, the state equations of each vehicle and multisystem is derived and the optimization scheme based on minimizing the differences between actual positions and desired positions of the vehicles are conducted. This formation control is a position-based decentralized model. The trajectory of the nearest neighbor are optimized based on the current position and state of the vehicle. This approach aids the whole multi-agent system to be optimized on their trajectory. Furthermore, to overcome the cumulative errors and maintain stability in the network a semi-centralized scheme is designed for the purpose of checking vehicle position to its predefined trajectory. The model is implemented in Matlab software and the results for different initial state and different trajectory definition are presented. In addition, to avoid collision avoidance and maintain the distances between vehicles agents at a predefined desired distances. In this regard, a neural fuzzy network is defined to be utilized in conjunction with the control system to avoid collision between vehicles. The outcome reveals that the model has acceptable stability and accuracy.

  • The development in the field of the internet of things (IoT) have improved the quality of the life and also strengthened different areas in the society. All cities across the world are seeking to become smarter. The creation of a smart parking system is the essential use case in smart cities. In recent couple of years, the number of vehicles has increased significantly. As a result, it is critical to make the use of technology that enables hassle-free parking in both public and private spaces. In conventional parking systems, drivers are not able to find free parking space. Conventional systems requires more human interference in a parking lots. To manage these circumstances there is an intense need of IoT enabled parking solution that includes the well defined architecture that will contain the following components such as smart sensors, communication agreement and software solution. For implementing such a smart parking system in this paper we proposed a design of smart parking system and also compare it with convetional system. The proposed design utilizes sensors based on IoT and Data Mining techniques to handle real time management of the parking system. IoT enabled smart parking solution minimizes the human interference and also saves energy, money and time.

Breast Cancer Detection with Thermal Images and using Deep Learning

  • According to most experts and health workers, a living creature's body heat is little understood and crucial in the identification of disorders. Doctors in ancient medicine used wet mud or slurry clay to heal patients. When either of these progressed throughout the body, the area that dried up first was called the infected part. Today, thermal cameras that generate images with electromagnetic frequencies can be used to accomplish this. Thermography can detect swelling and clot areas that predict cancer without the need for harmful radiation and irritational touch. It has a significant benefit in medical testing because it can be utilized before any observable symptoms appear. In this work, machine learning (ML) is defined as statistical approaches that enable software systems to learn from data without having to be explicitly coded. By taking note of these heat scans of breasts and pinpointing suspected places where a doctor needs to conduct additional investigation, ML can assist in this endeavor. Thermal imaging is a more cost-effective alternative to other approaches that require specialized equipment, allowing machines to deliver a more convenient and effective approach to doctors.

Understanding Driver Compliance Behaviour at Signalised Intersection for Developing Conceptual Model of Driving Simulation

  • A conceptual model represents an understanding of a system that is going to be developed, which in this research, a driving simulation software to study driver behavior at signalised intersections. Therefore, video observation was conducted to study driver compliance behaviour within the dilemma zone at signalised intersection, with regards to driver's distance from the stop line during yellow light interval. The video was analysed using Thematic Analysis and the data extracted from it was analysed using Chi-Square Independent Test. The Thematic Analysis revealed two major themes which were traffic situation and driver compliance behaviour. Traffic situation is defined as traffic surrounding the driver, such as no car in front and behind, car in front, and car behind. Meanwhile, the Chi-Square Test result indicates that within the dilemma zone, there was a significant relationship between driver compliance behaviour and driver's distance from the stop line during yellow light interval. The closer the drivers were to the stop line, the more likely they were going to comply. In contrast, drivers showed higher non-compliant behavior when further away from stop line. This finding could help in the development of conceptual model of driving simulation with purpose in studying driver behavior.

A Design Methodology of TMN Distributed Object based on Platform Independent Class Repository (플랫폼독립형 클래스저장소에 기반한 TMN 분산객체 디자인 방법론)

  • The TMN that appears to operate the various communication networks generally and efficiently is developed under the different platform environment such as the different hardware and the different operating system. One of the main problems is that all the agents of the TMN system must be duplicated and maintain the software and the data blocks that perform the identical function. Therefore, the standard of the Q3 interface development cannot be defined and the multi-platform cannot be supported in the development of the TMN agent. In order to overcome these problems, the Farming methodology that is based on the Farmer model has been suggested. With the Farming methodology, the software and the data components which are duplicated and stored in each distributed object are saved in the platform independent class repository(PICR) by converting into the format of the independent componentware in the platform, so that the componentwares that are essential for the execution can be loaded and used statically or dynamically from PICR as described in the framework of each distributed object. The distributed TMN agent of the personal communication network is designed and developed by using the Farmer model.
