끼어들기 상황에서의 자동비상제동장치 평가 시나리오 개발 (AEBS Evaluation Scenario Including Cut in Situation)

  • In this study, safety evaluation scenarios on "cut-in" situation are presented to assess the performance of automatic emergency braking systems. The ASSESS project in EU is surveyed for derive efficient test scenarios for cut-in situation. The TASS database are also analyzed to find representative accident scenarios in Korea. With the results of the ASSESS and TASS, the safety evaluation scenarios in cut-in situations are suggested and the scenarios are tested with simulation software PRESCAN.

  • In this paper, with the background features on which measuring the transverse left-right and up -down vibration of wheel, bogie and body by wireless measurement system, performance evaluation systems which can assess the running behavior of high speed trains based on UIC code 518-OR and evaluate the ride comfort of them based on ISO code 2631 and UIC code 513 were developed. The characteristics of dynamic vibration are generally analyzed by an acceleration of a car body of high speed train and the acceleration can be applied to evaluation of running safety. In this paper, also matching system of distance from tachometer and vibration from accelerometer was programmed in development software, and the SD card embedded system which prevent to loss of data in wireless measurement was mounted on this system. Finally the software perform to analysis with filtering and statistical post-process in the unit sections and zones and focus on developing the capability monitoring in the main control center. For the verification of this system, the running behavior and safety factor were analyzed based on field measured data of the Cheonjun-gunnum-sun turn out point in the new KTX railway.

  • Recently, as the road capacity reaches the limit and environmental problems becomes serious, there is gradually increased a need for railroad vehicles that are environment-friendly and have time regularity, reliability, and safety. Accordingly, in addition to conventional railroad vehicles, lots of vehicles are being newly developed. We developed the hardware and software of the measurement system for on-line test and evaluation of korean high speed train. The software controls the hardware of the measurement system and acts as interface between users and the system hardware. In this paper, practical experiment are performed to verify mechanical performance of motor and main transformer for Korean high speed rail. The experimental test carried out by using new temperature measurement method and verify the temperature performance of motor and transformer is verified.

A Study on the Design of Humane Animal Care System and Java Implementation

  • Nowadays, the number of pets in the Republic of Korea (ROK) is continuously growing, and people's perception of animals is changing. Accordingly, new systems and services for them are emerging. Despite such changes, there are still many serious problems such as animal cruelty, abandonment, and factory-type breeding places. In this study, we have conducted a research on the design of a humane animal care system and its implementation with Java. The methodology involved in the design will enable managing animals' safety and health by systematically categorizing and studying each health-related issue for protection. Moreover, with this methodology, animals can avert risks through periodic examinations, and the analyzed data will be useful in managing animals efficiently. Thus, this paper proposes a system that monitors whether the owners actually carry out such obligation. Authors expect this convenient, easily accessible system to lead to a more humane approach to the animals they own. The authors plan to establish an animal care network together with local animal associations for the active promotion of the system implemented in this study, in the hope that the network will be extended nationwide.

동력전달 시스템의 최적화를 위한 축 해석 모델 개발 (Development of Shaft Analysis Model for Power Transmission System Optimization)

  • This study develops a shaft analysis model for the optimization of the power transmission system. The finite element method was used for the shaft analysis model. The shaft and gear were assumed Timoshenko beams. Strength was evaluated according to DIN 743, and gear misalignment was calculated through ISO 6336 and the coordinate system rotation. The analysis software for a power transmission system was developed using Visual Studio 2019. The analysis results of the developed program were compared with those of commercial software (MASTA, KISSsoft, and Romax). We confirmed that the force, deformation, and safety factors at each node were the same as those of the commercial software. The absolute value of the gear misalignment of the developed program and commercial software was different. However, the gear misalignment tended to increase with increasing the displacement in the tooth width direction.

  • Recently because of high-speed operation of trains, railway crossings become more and more hazardous components among the whole ones of railway system. It is desirable to remove all the railway crossings for reducing fatalities at railway crossings. it is impossible to eliminate all the crossings for unrealistic investment, so it should be considered to construct multi-level crossings by the order of priority. In this paper operation conditions, various hazard factors on the train accident at domestic railway crossings and foreign cases of risk-based safety assessment models are reviewed and then necessary record data that be added and modified, some essential considerations for developing railway crossing safety assessment software program are proposed.

  • When it essentially designs and develops the Railway Signal System H/W and S/W, It requires base to build an environment which the safety of the complete system can be certified objectively. It is not rational choice to progress the safety certification of each of the subsystems to ensure reliability from an economic point of view. Furthermore, Even though H/W and S/W already certificated the safety, In case of changing subsystem to comprise relevant system, The safety certification of its parts newly must proceed. This study to solve these problems covers safety H/W platform which is commonly applicable to composition plan at Ground railway signaling systems such as CBTC, ETCS, CBI and safety-based modeling approach with S/W development tools (SCADE) and certificated O/S (Pike) to build the development environment. In addition, When it designs and develops safety S/W, This study explains structure to separate the data section which for logical operations and logical operations itself and provides guideline to support the certification through minimizing changes to the software.

  • 오늘날 우리가 사용하고 있는 시스템은 날이 갈수록 규모 면에서 대형화되고, 기능면에서 복잡해지고 있다. 이런 복잡성의 증가로 시스템 에러 발생가능성은 더욱 높아졌다. 특히, safety-critical 시스템의 경우 에러가 발생했을 때 인간과 생태계에 엄청난 영향을 미치기 때문에 더욱 신중한 개발 과정이 필요하다. 따라서 정형기법을 이용한 safety-critical 시스템의 개발방법론이 나오게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 대표적인 safety-critical 시스템인 원자력 발전소 시스템에서 Digital Plant Protection System(DPPS)를 가지고 어떻게 방법론이 적용되는지를 보여준다. Software Cost Reduction(SCR)이라는 정형 명세 도구로 명세를 하였고, SPIN 이라는 정형 검증 도구로 그 특성(property)을 검증하였다.

  • 다양한 리스크 문제가 발생하고 있는 환경 속에서 리스크에 대한 적절한 대응을 하고 안정화를 도모함과 동시에 리스크 문제가 표면화되어 초래하는 영향을 극소화 하기 위한 새로운 패러다임의 경영시스템 도입이 주요 전략과제로 대두되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 소프트웨어 분야에서의 리스크 위험 요소를 줄이고 신뢰성 향상을 목적으로 소프트웨어 분야가 가지고 있는 문제를 효과적으로 관리 할 수 있는 새로운 모델로서 IEC60300 신뢰성경영시스템과 IEC61508 리스크경영시스템의 통합 모델을 제시한다.

사업장 설계 시 소음 평가 시뮬레이션 툴 개발 (Development of Noise Evaluation Simulation Tool for Factory Design)

  • With the rapid industrialization and civilization development, noise has become a major problem in cities and is a very serious issue for the environment. Noise induced in a factory has a bad influenced on operation efficiency, accuracy and detail of work. The purpose of this paper is to develop a new noise evaluation software for predicting acoustic condition including noise properties during the design of a factory. Majority of commercial softwares for this purpose have been developed in foreign countries and they are quite expensive and hard to use. A new home-made software tool has been developed in the present work, which aimed at providing a more user-friendly environment. The tool developed in this work consists of four major part; the prediction and evaluation of noise in system design, database design, noise analysis development and 3D graphic modeling. The outcome of present work is expected to provide domestic users with a more user-friendly and economic acoustic design tool.
